Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel expose the /my_assignment/user API endpoint to any authenticated API user.CVE-2026-81819 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
Affected versions of Flowintel expose the /my_assignment/user API endpoint to any authenticated API user. The endpoint accepts a user_id parameter identifying the user whose assignments should be returned, but previously had no role restriction beyond general API authentication. As a result, a lower-privileged authenticated user could potentially query another user’s assignment information by supplying that user’s identifier. The fix changes: method_decorators = [api_required] to: method_decorators = [admin_or_org_admin_required, api_required] so only administrators or organization administrators can perform cross-user assignment queries. Version impacted =>3.3.0

Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel contain an authorization flaw in the administrative user-edit API.CVE-2026-81818 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.6
Affected versions of Flowintel contain an authorization flaw in the administrative user-edit API. The existing authorization check correctly prevented an organization administrator from editing users in another organization, but it did not prevent them from editing a full administrator within their own organization. As a result, an org admin could modify that full administrator account, including changing its password. The upstream commit explicitly describes the issue as: “Org admin can change the password of a full admin in the same organization.” The fix adds a higher-privilege boundary check: if user_to_edit.is_admin(): return ... 403 so organization administrators can no longer modify full administrator accounts. Version impacted >=3.3.0

Aug 27, 2026The get-html-skeleton tool fetched a URL the caller supplied after checking only its syntax.CVE-2026-81093 · Other software · apify · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
The get-html-skeleton tool fetched a URL the caller supplied after checking only its syntax. The handler in src/tools/common/get_html_skeleton.ts validated the url argument with isValidHttpUrl from src/utils/generic.ts, which confirmed the string began with an http or https scheme and parsed as a URL and inspected neither the host name nor the address it resolves to. Loopback, link-local and private ranges therefore passed, including the address cloud providers use to serve instance metadata. The unchecked URL was handed to the web-browser actor and the fetched document was returned in the tool response, so any caller of the MCP server could make it request an endpoint reachable only from the host and read the result, including instance credentials. Version 0.9.12 removes the tool.

Aug 27, 2026APITable through 1.13.0-beta.1 annotates both getUserHistories and closePausedUserAccount in InternalUserController with requiredLogin = false.CVE-2026-80208 · Other software · apitable · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8
APITable through 1.13.0-beta.1 annotates both getUserHistories and closePausedUserAccount in InternalUserController with requiredLogin = false. ResourceInterceptor honours that annotation by returning before any session or API key is validated, and the nginx gateway shipped with the product proxies every /api request to the backend server, so both endpoints are reachable by any unauthenticated client that can reach the gateway. An attacker can POST to /api/v1/internal/getUserHistories to enumerate the accounts sitting in the 30-day cooling-off period that follows a deletion request, then POST to /api/v1/internal/users/{userId}/close for each one. The closure path clears the account's email address, phone number and nickname, cancels its space subscriptions, removes its space memberships and deletes its OAuth bindings, so the cooling-off window that exists to let a user reverse a deletion request is bypassed and the account cannot be recovered.

A logic vulnerability (fail-open condition) has been identified within the Metasploit Framework's JSON-RPC web service interface. When an exception occurs during the database health check (db.check) and the environment variable MSF_WS_JSON_RPC_API_TOKEN is not explicitly set, the application resets the internal state flag msf.auth_initialized to false. Aug 26, 2026Mage AI does not confine the paths accepted by its browser-items API to the project directory.CVE-2026-81030 · Other software · mage-ai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
Mage AI does not confine the paths accepted by its browser-items API to the project directory. BrowserItemResource in mage_ai/api/resources/BrowserItemResource.py passes a caller-supplied path to the filesystem read and write helpers without calling the containment helper that the sibling FileContentResource and FileResource classes both use, so the resource contains no such call while those two contain several. A user holding the Viewer role, which grants read access within the project and nothing outside it, can therefore read any file the server process can read by supplying an absolute path. The permission model that would otherwise separate roles is not consulted for this route in the default configuration, because the setting that enables it defaults to false. Callers holding the Editor role additionally write through the same unconfined path, though that role is already able to execute code by design, so the boundary crossed by this flaw is the read available to the Viewer role.

Aug 26, 2026ZLMediaKit confines the downloadFile API to a configured set of root directories with a prefix comparison that does not account for directory boundaries.CVE-2026-81028 · Other software · ZLMediaKit · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
ZLMediaKit confines the downloadFile API to a configured set of root directories with a prefix comparison that does not account for directory boundaries. The configuration loader in server/WebApi.cpp builds each root with File::absolutePath("", item, true); because the relative-path argument is empty that helper returns the value without a trailing separator. The handler then accepts a requested path when start_with(file_path, root) holds, so a sibling directory whose name merely begins with the configured root string satisfies the test and is served. The only other guard rejects a path containing two dots, which this requires none of. The equivalent confinement check for the ordinary static file server in src/Http/HttpFileManager.cpp computes its root with a non-empty second argument, which appends the separator before comparing, and so is not affected. The endpoint requires the configured API secret, so this grants no privilege beyond what that secret already implies, but it reads files outside the directory the operator confined it to, and the reference container runs the server as root.

Aug 26, 2026one-api gates one of its two channel-pinning paths and not the other.CVE-2026-81027 · Other software · songquanpeng · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4
one-api gates one of its two channel-pinning paths and not the other. middleware/auth.go permits a request to name a specific channel either through a suffix on the API key or through a URL path parameter. The suffix path is reached only after model.IsAdmin succeeds and otherwise rejects the caller, while the path-parameter branch sets the selected-channel value from c.Param("channelid") with no role check at all. The route carrying that parameter sits behind token authentication only, so any account holding a valid API token reaches it. The value flows to the distributor, which loads the channel by integer identifier with no scoping to the caller's user or group, and then sets the outbound Authorization header to that channel's stored key and directs the request at the channel's base URL. A low-privilege account can therefore pin any channel by incrementing an identifier, causing the server to make upstream requests bearing an operator-configured provider key the account was never granted, and bypassing both the per-group restriction and the channel's model allowlist.

Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_api: fix TOCTOU NULL deref on a->goto_chain tcf_action_exec() handles TC_ACCVE-2026-74740 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_api: fix TOCTOU NULL deref on a->goto_chain tcf_action_exec() handles TC_ACT_GOTO_CHAIN by first checking rcu_access_pointer(a->goto_chain) and then calling tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(), which does a second, independent rcu_dereference_bh(a->goto_chain) read and immediately dereferences chain->filter_chain. A concurrent tcf_action_set_ctrlact() (e.g. the gact replace path) can clear a->goto_chain between the two reads, so the second read returns NULL and tcf_action_goto_chain_exec() dereferences NULL. Fix the race by doing a single rcu_dereference_bh() read of a->goto_chain in tcf_action_exec(), checking it once for NULL, and passing the resulting chain pointer into tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(). This turns the split check/use into a single check/use on one value.

Aug 26, 2026Starlette-Admin is a fast, beautiful and extensible administrative interface framework for FastAPI and Starlette applications.CVE-2026-54553 · Other software · jowilf · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Starlette-Admin is a fast, beautiful and extensible administrative interface framework for FastAPI and Starlette applications. Prior to 0.16.1, the list API does not validate user-supplied order_by and structured where field names against the configured sortable_fields and searchable_fields allowlists. An authenticated user with access to an affected list endpoint can submit arbitrary field names to starlette_admin/base.py and the BaseModelView validation path, bypassing restrictions presented by the administrative user interface. Requests can sort or filter on fields that are not intended to be sortable or searchable, causing limited information exposure. Invalid field names and special Python attribute names such as metadata and the class dunder attribute can also trigger unhandled exceptions and HTTP 500 responses, causing limited denial of service for targeted requests. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
