Sep 14, 2026safeurl is a server-side request forgery protection library.CVE-2026-54452 · Other software · doyensec · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
safeurl is a server-side request forgery protection library. Prior to 0.2.4, the privateNetworks list in ip.go omits the IPv6 ranges 64:ff9b:1::/48, 5f00::/16, 3fff::/20, and 100:0:0:1::/64. When an application enables IPv6 with EnableIPv6(true), an attacker-controlled destination in one of these ranges is not recognized as non-public and can pass the SSRF destination check, potentially allowing access to resources hosted within the omitted ranges. IPv6 is disabled by default, and configurations that retain EnableIPv6(false) are not exposed to this bypass. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.4.

Sep 14, 2026Description `SimpleACLAuthorizer` evaluated the user-level command set by returning early when `nimbus.users` was empty, before `nimbus.groups` was considered.CVE-2026-82431 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.8
Description `SimpleACLAuthorizer` evaluated the user-level command set by returning early when `nimbus.users` was empty, before `nimbus.groups` was considered. An operator who restricted cluster access by group alone, leaving `nimbus.users` unset, therefore received no restriction at all: every authenticated principal was permitted every user-level operation, including `submitTopology`, `beginFileUpload` and `getNimbusConf`. `docs/SECURITY.md` presents `nimbus.groups` as a supported way to lock down a cluster, so a deployment following the documentation could believe it was restricted while it was not. The failure is silent; nothing in the logs or the configuration indicates that the group list is being ignored. Both lists left empty continues to mean that no restriction is configured, which is the shipped default and is unchanged. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where `nimbus.groups` is evaluated whether or not `nimbus.users` is set. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should additionally populate `nimbus.users` with the intended principals, since a non-empty user list causes the group list to be evaluated on affected versions. Operators should review Nimbus access logs for op

Sep 14, 2026Description Nimbus accepted the `uploadedJarLocation` argument of `submitTopology` / `submitTopologyWithOpts` as a server-side path and opened it directly, witCVE-2026-82426 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.5
Description Nimbus accepted the `uploadedJarLocation` argument of `submitTopology` / `submitTopologyWithOpts` as a server-side path and opened it directly, without checking that it referred to a file the caller had actually uploaded. The intended flow is that a client first calls `beginFileUpload`, which returns a path inside the Nimbus inbox, and uploads the jar in chunks to that location; nothing bound submission to that flow, and the `uploaders` map populated by `beginFileUpload` was never consulted at submit time. An authenticated user with topology submission rights could therefore submit any path readable by the Nimbus daemon user as their topology jar. Nimbus copied the file into the topology's jar blob, and the blob ACL grants the submitting subject read access, so the contents could then be retrieved with the ordinary blob download RPCs. Candidate targets include the Nimbus Kerberos keytab, Thrift and UI TLS private keys, and `storm.yaml` with the ZooKeeper authentication payload. Possession of the Nimbus keytab turns an ordinary tenant into a cluster administrator. In a deployment configured as the documentation recommends, submission is available to every authenticate

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: clear setuid/setgid bit on write with cifsacl/modefromsid/posix extensions WhCVE-2026-89638 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: clear setuid/setgid bit on write with cifsacl/modefromsid/posix extensions When a file has the setuid or setgid bit set and is written to, the VFS strips those bits and issues a setattr with ATTR_KILL_SUID/ATTR_KILL_SGID together with an ATTR_MODE carrying the already-cleared mode. Both cifs_setattr_unix() and cifs_setattr_nounix() unconditionally dropped ATTR_MODE in that case: /* skip mode change if it's just for clearing setuid/setgid */ if (attrs->ia_valid & (ATTR_KILL_SUID|ATTR_KILL_SGID)) attrs->ia_valid &= ~ATTR_MODE; This is fine for the default mount, where the mode is only emulated via the DOS read-only attribute and cannot represent the setuid/setgid bits anyway. However, with the "cifsacl" or "modefromsid" mount options the mode is stored on the server through an ACL (id_mode_to_cifs_acl()), with the SMB3.1.1 POSIX extensions the mode is sent to the server directly, and with the SMB1 Unix extensions (cifs_setattr_unix) the mode is sent via CIFSSMBUnixSetPathInfo(). In all those cases dropping ATTR_MODE means the cleared mode is never pushed to the server, so the setuid/setgid bit

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: validate non-resident attribute offsets ntfs_attr_update_meta() shifts the attributeCVE-2026-89611 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: validate non-resident attribute offsets ntfs_attr_update_meta() shifts the attribute name when converting between non-sparse and sparse attributes. Converting to sparse also adds the compressed_size field before the name and mapping pairs, requiring eight additional bytes in the attribute record. However, the validator does not check that name_offset is within safe boundaries for these operations or that the additional space is available. A malicious MFT record could set name_offset such that: 1. The name is positioned at the very end of a non-sparse attribute. Converting to sparse would shift the name forward by 8 bytes, writing beyond the attribute boundary. 2. The name overlaps with the mapping pairs, causing corruption during conversion. Add validation to ensure: - For named attributes, name_offset is within valid bounds - Name does not extend beyond the attribute or overlap with mapping pairs - For non-sparse, non-compressed attributes, eight bytes are available after mapping_pairs_offset for the compressed_size field The space check also covers unnamed attributes, for which name_offset

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/sva: Set handle->dev before the SVA handle is visible iommu_attach_device_pasid() inCVE-2026-89451 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/sva: Set handle->dev before the SVA handle is visible iommu_attach_device_pasid() installs the new SVA attach handle in the group PASID lookup before iommu_sva_bind_device() returns. A concurrent bind can therefore find and reuse the same handle after iommu_sva_lock is dropped. handle->dev was initialized after dropping iommu_sva_lock. This leaves a window where a racing bind can return a handle whose dev pointer is still NULL. A subsequent iommu_sva_unbind_device() can then dereference it via handle->dev->iommu_group. Initialize handle->dev before releasing iommu_sva_lock so any visible SVA handle is fully initialized.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Reject a vSID wider than the SID_MATCH field tegra241_vintf_init_vsiCVE-2026-89450 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Reject a vSID wider than the SID_MATCH field tegra241_vintf_init_vsid() programs the guest-provided vSID into SID_MATCH, whose VIRT_SID field spans bits [20:1] with bit 0 as the match-enable flag. The HW therefore matches only a 20-bit Stream ID. The bound check rejects only virt_sid > UINT_MAX, which admits a value far wider than the field. The write "virt_sid << 1 | 0x1" then drops every bit above 20: a virt_sid of 0x80000000 lands as SID_MATCH = 0x1, a valid match on vSID 0, so the entry aliases the wrong Stream ID. Because vdev->virt_id is guest-controlled, a VMM can trigger it. Validate virt_sid against the field width with FIELD_MAX(), and program the register with FIELD_PREP() so the value and the field stay consistent.

Sep 11, 2026NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizationCVE-2026-49462 · Other software · nl-portal · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. In versions up to and including 3.0.0, deployments using the shipped default configuration exposed two GraphQL developer features without requiring authentication: the GraphiQL playground, an interactive UI for issuing GraphQL queries; and schema introspection, which lets a caller download the full description of every query, mutation, type, and argument the API supports. Anyone who could reach the `/graphiql` endpoint could open the playground in a browser, pull the full schema, and use that to map out the API and craft calls against it. By itself this does not leak user data, but it removes the guesswork from attacking the rest of the API and significantly lowers the bar for finding and exploiting other weaknesses. Version 3.0.1 patches the issue. As a workaround, override the two settings in deployed configuration.

Sep 11, 2026Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) in Theme Customizer via Unvalidated Style Values.CVE-2026-81910 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 5.9
Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) in Theme Customizer via Unvalidated Style Values. Values submitted through the customizer (color channels and other style properties handled by ColorStyle and sibling Style classes such as FontFamilyStyle and ImageStyle) are interpolated into server-compiled LESS source without neutralization of LESS syntax, allowing a user with the Theme Customization permission to inject arbitrary LESS directives. By injecting the @import (inline) directive, an attacker can read arbitrary files on the server and reach internal network resources through PHP stream wrappers. The compiled output, including any disclosed file contents, is written to the site's publicly served CSS cache, exposing database credentials, private keys, and other application secrets, and enabling server-side request forgery. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 5.9 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
