  • Jun 20, 2025In HotelDruid 3.0.0 and 3.0.7, the unauthenticated database-setup endpoint creadb.php can be reached before setup is completed and performs database creation wiCVE-2025-44203 · Other software · Digitaldruid · reported by MITREHigh 7.5

In HotelDruid 3.0.0 and 3.0.7, the unauthenticated database-setup endpoint creadb.php can be reached before setup is completed and performs database creation without locking. By sending many concurrent requests, an attacker can trigger a race condition during which verbose SQL error messages disclose the administrator username, password hash, and salt. The same race leaves the setup partially initialized, so the administrator can no longer log in with the credentials set during installation, resulting in a denial of service that requires reinstallation to recover. Remote exploitation additionally requires the installation to allow non-localhost access. The vulnerability was fixed in version 3.0.8.

SpiceDB is an open source database for storing and querying fine-grained authorization data. Prior to version 1.44.2, on schemas involving arrows with caveats on the arrow’ed relation, when the path to resolve a CheckPermission request involves the evaluation of multiple caveated branches, requests may return a negative response when a positive response is expected. Version 1.44.2 fixes the issue. As a workaround, do not use caveats in the schema over an arrow’ed relation.

  • May 29, 2025Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk.CVE-2025-27151 · Other software · redis · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk. In versions starting from 7.0.0 to before 8.0.2, a stack-based buffer overflow exists in redis-check-aof due to the use of memcpy with strlen(filepath) when copying a user-supplied file path into a fixed-size stack buffer. This allows an attacker to overflow the stack and potentially achieve code execution. This issue has been patched in version 8.0.2.

  • May 22, 2025When pglogical attempts to replicate data, it does not verify it is using a replication connection, which means a user with CONNECT access to a database configuCVE-2025-2506 · Other software · EnterpriseDB · reported by 20be33e2-bf35-4d13-8fad-18bd2f3e3659Medium 5.3

When pglogical attempts to replicate data, it does not verify it is using a replication connection, which means a user with CONNECT access to a database configured for replication can execute the pglogical command to obtain read access to replicated tables. When pglogical runs it should verify it is running on a replication connection but does not perform this check. This vulnerability was introduced in the pglogical 3.x codebase, which is proprietary to EDB. The same code base has been integrated into BDR/PGD 4 and 5. To exploit the vulnerability the attacker needs at least CONNECT permissions to a database configured for replication and must understand a number of pglogical3/BDR specific commands and be able to decode the binary protocol.

  • Apr 23, 2025Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk.CVE-2025-21605 · Other software · redis · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk. In versions starting at 2.6 and prior to 7.4.3, An unauthenticated client can cause unlimited growth of output buffers, until the server runs out of memory or is killed. By default, the Redis configuration does not limit the output buffer of normal clients (see client-output-buffer-limit). Therefore, the output buffer can grow unlimitedly over time. As a result, the service is exhausted and the memory is unavailable. When password authentication is enabled on the Redis server, but no password is provided, the client can still cause the output buffer to grow from "NOAUTH" responses until the system will run out of memory. This issue has been patched in version 7.4.3. An additional workaround to mitigate this problem without patching the redis-server executable is to block access to prevent unauthenticated users from connecting to Redis. This can be done in different ways. Either using network access control tools like firewalls, iptables, security groups, etc, or enabling TLS and requiring users to authenticate using client side certificates.

  • Mar 26, 2025Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content.CVE-2025-30353 · Other software · directus · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Starting in version 9.12.0 and prior to version 11.5.0, when a Flow with the "Webhook" trigger and the "Data of Last Operation" response body encounters a ValidationError thrown by a failed condition operation, the API response includes sensitive data. This includes environmental variables, sensitive API keys, user accountability information, and operational data. This issue poses a significant security risk, as any unintended exposure of this data could lead to potential misuse. Version 11.5.0 fixes the issue.

  • Mar 26, 2025Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content.CVE-2025-30352 · Other software · directus · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Starting in version 9.0.0-alpha.4 and prior to version 11.5.0, the `search` query parameter allows users with access to a collection to filter items based on fields they do not have permission to view. This allows the enumeration of unknown field contents. The searchable columns (numbers & strings) are not checked against permissions when injecting the `where` clauses for applying the search query. This leads to the possibility of enumerating those un-permitted fields. Version 11.5.0 fixes the issue.

  • Mar 26, 2025Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content.CVE-2025-30351 · Other software · directus · reported by GitHubLow 3.5

Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Starting in version 10.10.0 and prior to version 11.5.0, a suspended user can use the token generated in session auth mode to access the API despite their status. This happens because there is a check missing in `verifySessionJWT` to verify that a user is actually still active and allowed to access the API. One can extract the session token obtained by, e.g. login in to the app while still active and then, after the user has been suspended continue to use that token until it expires. Version 11.5.0 patches the issue.

  • Mar 26, 2025Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content.CVE-2025-30350 · Other software · directus · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. The `@directus/storage-driver-s3` package starting in version 9.22.0 and prior to version 12.0.1, corresponding to Directus starting in version 9.22.0 and prior to 11.5.0, is vulnerable to asset unavailability after a burst of HEAD requests. Some tools use Directus to sync content and assets, and some of those tools use the HEAD method to check the existence of files. When making many HEAD requests at once, at some point, all assets are eventually served as 403. This causes denial of assets for all policies of Directus, including Admin and Public. Version 12.0.1 of the `@directus/storage-driver-s3` package, corresponding to version 11.5.0 of Directus, fixes the issue.
