Sep 15, 2026proxy-addr is a Node.js module that determines a request's client address behind trusted reverse proxies, and it backs Express req.ip and req.ips.CVE-2026-90711 · Other software · proxy-addr · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbCritical 9.1
proxy-addr is a Node.js module that determines a request's client address behind trusted reverse proxies, and it backs Express req.ip and req.ips. In versions 1.1.0 through 2.0.7, a trust subnet written in IPv4-mapped IPv6 notation with an IPv4-sized prefix, such as ::ffff:10.0.0.0/8 instead of the correct ::ffff:10.0.0.0/104, is accepted without error but trusts every IPv4 address on the internet rather than the block it names. Because the socket peer then becomes trusted at hop 0, any unauthenticated client can supply an arbitrary X-Forwarded-For header and control the address the application reads, which defeats IP-based access control, rate limiting, geolocation, and audit logging. This is a fail-open regression introduced in version 1.1.0. The issue is fixed in proxy-addr 2.0.8, and users should upgrade to 2.0.8 or later. As a workaround, ensure any IPv4-mapped IPv6 trust subnet uses a prefix length of at least 97, or express the range in plain IPv4 notation.

Sep 14, 2026Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.3 is vulnerable to stored XSS via the custom page alias name (customAliasName) because the Edit Alias dialog applied only trim() CVE-2026-18117 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deHigh 7.3
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.3 is vulnerable to stored XSS via the custom page alias name (customAliasName) because the Edit Alias dialog applied only trim() to the submitted value and performed no input neutralization. An authenticated user holding canWrite (editor) permission on a page could store a malicious alias name that was later rendered unescaped in the administrative Sitemap panel, where it executed automatically in any administrator or editor session that opened the panel, allowing an editor to escalate to administrator through the victim's active session. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Nguyen Manh Thuan for reporting.

Sep 14, 2026backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administrationCVE-2026-57570 · Other software · Laravel-Backpack · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.15 and 7.0.47, HasMany and MorphMany handling through attachManyRelation during CRUD create and update operations accepts submitted child primary keys without consistently restricting updates to records belonging to the current parent or permitted by the developer-defined relation scope. An authenticated low-privilege administrator who can edit a parent form exposing an affected multiple-relation field can cause unrelated child records to be reassigned, detached, nulled, or deleted across ownership or tenant boundaries. Exploitation requires related records that should not be attachable or removable by that administrator and the absence of additional application-level authorization around submitted relation values. This issue is distinct from earlier direct main-entity CRUD scoping fixes because it affects secondary models modified by relationship-saving logic. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.15 and 7.0.47.

Sep 14, 2026backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administrationCVE-2026-54182 · Other software · Laravel-Backpack · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. Prior to 4.1.70, 5.6.2, 6.8.13, and 7.0.36, Backpack\CRUD\Stats::makeCurlRequest in src/Stats.php is reached from BackpackServiceProvider::boot() and constructs a shell command with a URL influenced by the HTTP Host header, which it passes to exec() without adequate shell neutralization. An unauthenticated attacker whose malformed Host value reaches PHP can inject operating-system commands when exec() and curl are available and the 1-in-100 random gate is reached. Repeated requests can reach the random gate. Successful exploitation executes commands as the web-server user, exposing environment secrets, files, and reachable services and permitting data modification or service disruption. Common reverse-proxy Host validation and hardened PHP configurations that disable exec() reduce reachability but do not correct the vulnerable construction. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.70, 5.6.2, 6.8.13, and 7.0.36.

Sep 14, 2026backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administrationCVE-2026-54181 · Other software · Laravel-Backpack · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, src/resources/views/crud/columns/color.blade.php inverts the escaped and raw rendering branches controlled by $column['escaped'], which defaults to true, causing $column['text'] to be rendered unescaped by default. An attacker who can store an unsanitized value in a color column can execute script in the browser of a user who views the CRUD list, including an administrator, with access to the victim's session-backed application capabilities. backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, the Update, Delete, and Reorder operations resolve records from the unscoped model query instead of the query configured through addClause() or addBaseClause(). An authenticated user who knows or guesses an out-of-scope record primary key can therefore modify, delete, or reorder records hidden by tenant, ownership, or other row-level access-control scopes. Applications that do not rely on CRUD query clauses for authorization are not affected by this specific bypass. The fix routes all three write operations through getModelWithCrudPanelQuery(), matching the scoped list and read behavior. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.14 and 7.0.38.

backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. Prior to 6.8.12 and 7.0.35, HasUploadFields::uploadMultipleFilesToDisk in src/app/Models/Traits/HasUploadFields.php trusts disk-relative paths from clear_<attribute>[] and passes them to Storage::disk()->delete without confirming that the paths are persisted on the current model record. An authenticated user with Update access to a CRUD using this mutator through src/app/Models/Traits/CrudTrait.php can delete another record's attachment, a shared asset, or another operational file on the configured disk by submitting its path. The newer MultipleFiles uploader is not affected because it intersects requested deletions with the record's persisted file list. This flaw does not permit reading the deleted files. The 5.x line remains affected through its final releases. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.12 and 7.0.35.

backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, HasUploadFields methods uploadFileToDisk and uploadMultipleFilesToDisk, used through CrudTrait, and the withFiles() path through FileNameGenerator do not internally reject server-executable file types. An authenticated administrator can achieve remote code execution by using an upload-enabled CRUD field without mimes: and mimetypes: validation when the public disk is web-accessible through php artisan storage:link and the web-server and PHP-FPM configuration executes the stored extension. The legacy path preserves an accepted extension and the newer path derives an extension without blocking dangerous types. The package-level restriction is defense in depth and does not replace application-level upload validation. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.14 and 7.0.38.

backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, MyAccountController::postAccountInfoForm at POST /admin/edit-account-info permits AccountInfoRequest to update backpack_authentication_column(), which is email by default, without requiring current_password or otherwise verifying the account's existing password. An attacker with a temporary authenticated Backpack session can change the account-recovery email and later use the password-reset flow after the original session expires, converting session compromise into persistent account takeover. The same mechanism permits an insider to set a personal recovery address before access is revoked. The separate password-change endpoint is not affected because it verifies old_password. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.14 and 7.0.38.

Sep 14, 2026backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administrationCVE-2026-54175 · Other software · Laravel-Backpack · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6
backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. Prior to 6.8.11 and 7.0.34, MyAccountController::postAccountInfoForm in src/app/Http/Controllers/MyAccountController.php at POST /admin/edit-account-info passes request data from $request->except(['_token']) to the user model instead of restricting updates to fields accepted by AccountInfoRequest::validationData(). An attacker with an authenticated Backpack session can therefore mass-assign password, the authentication column, or other deployment-specific fillable attributes. With the default Laravel 11 user model, a submitted plaintext password is automatically hashed and persisted, converting temporary session access into persistent account takeover without the old_password check enforced by the separate password-change route. Changing the authentication email can also enable later password-reset takeover, while additional fillable security attributes can permit deployment-specific privilege escalation or security-control changes. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.11 and 7.0.34.

Sep 14, 2026Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm.CVE-2026-54542 · Other software · nimiq · reported by GitHubLow 3.7
Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. Prior to 1.6.0, a malicious state-sync peer can crash a syncing node by sending a crafted TrieChunk whose proof contains a TrieNodeChild suffix that is individually valid but exceeds the 63-byte KeyNibbles backing array when combined with the parent key. KeyNibbles::Add in primitives/src/key_nibbles.rs performs the combined slice operation without checking the total length, and the input reaches put_chunk, TrieNodeChild::key, and TrieNodeChild::is_stump before proof.verify, so the attacker does not need a valid cryptographic proof. Exploitation requires the attacker to be selected as the victim's sync peer during state sync. The resulting out-of-bounds panic is transient because the node restarts and resynchronizes. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.0.

Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. Prior to 1.6.0, a malicious state-sync peer can crash a syncing node by sending a crafted TrieChunk proof containing two TrieProofNode values with identical keys. TrieProof::verify calls TrieProofNode::child_index in primitives/src/trie/trie_proof_node.rs, where is_prefix_of accepts equal keys and KeyNibbles::get is called at the key length, returns None, and is unconditionally unwrapped. Untrusted ResponseChunk data reaches commit_chunks, put_chunk, and proof.verify before cryptographic proof validation, so the attacker does not need a valid proof. Sep 14, 2026Insufficient HTML sanitization in the Publisher Portal and Developer Portal allows untrusted user input to be rendered without proper encoding or neutralizationCVE-2026-4103 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Medium 6.4
Insufficient HTML sanitization in the Publisher Portal and Developer Portal allows untrusted user input to be rendered without proper encoding or neutralization. This enables the injection and execution of malicious JavaScript when affected API documents are viewed. Successful exploitation may result in the execution of malicious scripts within the user's browser context when viewing API documentation. Users with permissions to access the API documentation through these portals may be impacted, potentially allowing attackers to perform actions on behalf of the user, depending on their session privileges.

Sep 14, 2026gitoxide is an implementation of git written in Rust.CVE-2025-24890 · Other software · GitoxideLabs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
gitoxide is an implementation of git written in Rust. Prior to 0.13.3, the gix-sec crate on Windows incorrectly treats repositories controlled by another user as trusted when an administrator runs a dependent program with an unfiltered elevated token. In gix-sec/src/identity.rs, gix_sec::identity::is_path_owned_by_current_user obtains folder_owner and token_owner, but its administrator-specific IsWellKnownSid and CheckTokenMembership checks examine the running token rather than confirming the directory owner. This bypasses safe.directory-style protection for repositories owned and configured by a limited user, allowing repository configuration or hooks to execute commands with the administrator's privileges when an affected operation is performed. Exploitation requires Windows, an elevated administrator, a program that relies on gix-sec trust results, and interaction with a repository controlled by another user. An unelevated UAC process is not affected, and cloning is not affected because repository configuration and hooks are not copied. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.3.

Description When launching a Docker or OCI worker, the setuid-root `worker-launcher` first changes ownership of the entire worker directory to the untrusted topology user, and only afterwards reads and acts on the command file that the supervisor wrote into that same directory. The file is opened without `O_NOFOLLOW` and without re-verifying its owner, so between the ownership change and the read the tenant can replace its contents. For the Docker path the parsed command is executed with real uid 0, and the command sanitiser is not a privilege boundary: it admits `-v` with an arbitrary source, `--device`, `--cap-add`, `--security-opt`, `--user` and `--net`, and copies positional arguments through verbatim. A rewritten file therefore yields an attacker-authored, root-equivalent container invocation with the host filesystem available. For the OCI path the same rewrite window applies, and mount validation is structural only, with no source or destination allow-list, so arbitrary host paths can be bind-mounted read-write into the container. The `username` field of the command file is likewise attacker-settable and is checked only against non-root and minimum-uid rules, permitting ex

Sep 14, 2026Description The setuid-root `worker-launcher` binary adjusts ownership and permissions of worker directories by walking the tree with FTS and calling `lchown` CVE-2026-82429 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.8
Description The setuid-root `worker-launcher` binary adjusts ownership and permissions of worker directories by walking the tree with FTS and calling `lchown` and `chmod` on each entry's full pathname while running with an effective uid of 0. Both syscalls re-resolve the path at the time of the call, after FTS has classified the entry, and the trees being walked are owned and writable by the untrusted topology user. A tenant running code on a supervisor node could therefore replace an intermediate directory component with a symbolic link between classification and the privileged operation, redirecting the root-owned `lchown` or `chmod` at an arbitrary file on the host. The operation is repeatable at will, since crashing a worker forces a relaunch and blob updates re-run the walk, so a failed attempt costs the attacker nothing. This crosses the boundary that `supervisor.run.worker.as.user` and container isolation are intended to enforce. It is the same defect class as the Hadoop container-executor issues from which this code derives. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the privileged walk operates on file descriptors it has already stat'd rather than on pathnames re-resolved at

Sep 13, 2026The MQTT-SN client keepalive handler process_ping() in subsys/net/lib/mqtt_sn/mqtt_sn.c removes the gateway record after PINGREQ retries are exhausted.CVE-2026-15891 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.5
The MQTT-SN client keepalive handler process_ping() in subsys/net/lib/mqtt_sn/mqtt_sn.c removes the gateway record after PINGREQ retries are exhausted. It invoked SYS_SLIST_PEEK_HEAD_CONTAINER(&client->gateways, gw, next) but discarded the result. That macro is a pure expression that does not assign to gw, so gw retained its NULL initializer regardless of the list contents. The code then dereferences the NULL gw (gw->gw_id) and passes it to mqtt_sn_gw_destroy(), reaching k_mem_slab_free(&gateways, NULL). With CONFIG_MEM_SLAB_POINTER_VALIDATE enabled this triggers k_panic(); in the default configuration it performs a write through the NULL pointer ((char )mem = slab->free_list;) and corrupts the slab free list. The outcome is a crash/kernel panic or, on targets where address 0 is writable, silent memory-allocator corruption. The vulnerable branch runs whenever the connected MQTT-SN gateway fails to answer keepalive PINGREQs for the configured number of retries. This condition is controlled by the remote peer: a malicious or compromised gateway, or an on-path/adjacent attacker that advertises itself as a gateway and then stops responding (or blackholes the real gateway's PINGRESPs)

matrix-sdk-crypto is a no-network-IO implementation of a state machine that handles end-to-end encryption for Matrix clients. Starting in version 0.12.0 and prior to version 0.17.0, the matrix-sdk-crypto crate was missing a check for the user ID when decrypting an Olm-encrypted event containing the `sender_device_keys` property. This could be exploited to forge an encrypted to-device event, but only if the attacker colludes with the homeserver operator. This issue is fixed in matrix-sdk-crypto 0.17.0. There are no known workarounds for the issue.

The message edit validation logic in the `matrix-sdk-ui` crate prior to 0.17.0 is missing a check: when replacing an encrypted event, the replacement event itself is not required to be encrypted. This enables a malicious homeserver administrators (or actors with equivalent power) to impersonate or spoof messages as if they were sent by a victim user. `matrix-sdk-ui` 0.17.0 fixes the message edit validation logic to align with the algorithm for replacement events[^1] described in the Matrix specification. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rust: devres: fix race between concurrent revokers There is a potential race condition when two paths try to revoke a Devres concurrently. The driver core's devres_release_all() calls Revocable::revoke() via the release callback, while Devres::drop() calls revoke_nosync() on another CPU. The revoker that does not claim the is_available swap returns immediately, but the revoker that did may still be executing drop_in_place() on the inner data. This can cause a use-after-free when the other revoker's caller proceeds to drop adjacent resources that drop_in_place() still references (e.g., Devres<DmaMappedSgt> racing with SGTable freeing the backing sg_table and pages). Fix this by adding a Completion. The release callback signals the Completion after revoke() finishes, and Devres::drop() waits for it when it loses the is_available swap. This ensures the wrapped object is fully torn down before Devres::drop() returns.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KEYS: trusted: Fix TPM teardown ordering trusted_tpm_exit() drops the TPM chip reference and frees the digest array before unregistering the trusted key type. key_type_lookup() holds key_types_sem for reading until the key operation finishes, while unregister_key_type() takes it for writing. It therefore provides the synchronization point that must precede backend teardown. The current order permits this interleaving: CPU 0 CPU 1 trusted_tpm_exit() key_type_lookup("trusted") put_device(&chip->dev) trusted_tpm_seal() kfree(digests) pcrlock() unregister_key_type() tpm_pcr_extend(..., digests) CPU 1 can consequently dereference the freed digest array. The chip can also be released before callbacks stop using it. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix retry exhaustion in simple ring buffer reader swap simple_ring_buffer_swap_reader_page() starts with retry set to 8 and post-decrements it only after a failed link replacement. On the final attempt, a successful replacement leaves retry at zero, while a failed replacement leaves it at -1. The current !retry test reverses both outcomes. It returns an error after a successful final replacement, leaving the link update complete but the reader bookkeeping unfinished. After a failed final replacement, it falls through and updates the head and reader pointers as though the replacement succeeded, which can corrupt the ring. Treat only a negative counter as exhaustion and return the documented -EBUSY error.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: bound the free-cluster bitmap scan to the volume vol->lcn_empty_bits_per_page is sizCVE-2026-89614 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: bound the free-cluster bitmap scan to the volume vol->lcn_empty_bits_per_page is sized from vol->nr_clusters at mount, but ntfs_cluster_alloc() bounds its scan of that array by the size of $Bitmap. Those are independent on-disk quantities and the mount-time check only rejects a $Bitmap that is too small, so an image whose $Bitmap covers more clusters than the volume has lets the scan index past the array. A run whose LCN lies in that gap takes the allocator straight there, since the caller passes the file's own last LCN as its locality hint. KASAN reports a slab out-of-bounds read when a file on such a volume is extended. Clamp the scan to what that array covers, mirroring the max_index calculation the mount-time scan already uses, and reject a decoded LCN at or beyond nr_clusters in the mapping pairs decoder. Conforming volumes are unaffected.
