Aug 19, 2026Renovate versions >=32.124.0 and before 42.68.5 (and Mend renovate-ce/renovate-ee before 13.3.0) contain a command injection vulnerability in Gradle Wrapper artCVE-2026-76228 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4
Renovate versions >=32.124.0 and before 42.68.5 (and Mend renovate-ce/renovate-ee before 13.3.0) contain a command injection vulnerability in Gradle Wrapper artifact handling. When Renovate processes Gradle Wrapper updates, it invokes a wrapper update command via a shell (e.g. /bin/sh -c ... ./gradlew :wrapper --gradle-distribution-url <value>). If an attacker supplies a malicious gradle-wrapper.properties whose distributionUrl contains shell command substitution syntax such as $(...), the shell evaluates it before Gradle parses the URL, resulting in arbitrary command execution in the Renovate runtime. Exploitation requires the attacker to introduce the malicious file into a repository that Renovate scans; the issue occurs even when allowScripts is disabled.

Aug 19, 2026The GETALL and SETALL commands in semctl(2) recorded the number of semaphores in the target set, dropped the lock protecting the set, allocated a buffer sized fCVE-2026-58087 · Other software · FreeBSD · reported by secteam@freebsd.orgHigh 7.8
The GETALL and SETALL commands in semctl(2) recorded the number of semaphores in the target set, dropped the lock protecting the set, allocated a buffer sized for that count, and reacquired the lock. A sequence-number check was used to verify that the set had not been replaced in the interim, but the sequence number wraps after 0x8000 create/destroy cycles. By rapidly destroying and recreating semaphore sets at the same index, another process can cause the sequence number to wrap, allowing a set with a different number of semaphores to pass validation. The subsequent copy then reads or writes past the end of the allocated buffer. An unprivileged local user can trigger out-of-bounds reads and writes on kernel heap memory, potentially leading to privilege escalation.

Aug 18, 2026ArcadeDB server (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-server) in versions 26.7.3 and earlier fails to propagate the authenticated principal to asynchronous command worker threCVE-2026-75851 · Other software · ArcadeData · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4
ArcadeDB server (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-server) in versions 26.7.3 and earlier fails to propagate the authenticated principal to asynchronous command worker threads. When an HTTP command is submitted with awaitResponse:false, it executes on an async worker whose DatabaseContext has no bound user, causing the scripting authorization gate to become a no-op. A user with only read access to a single database can submit an asynchronous JavaScript (language=js) command via the /api/v1/command endpoint to run code with unrestricted host access (e.g., database.getSecurity().createUser) and create a server-wide administrator, escalating to full administrative control. openssl_encrypt (pip) versions <= 1.4.7 contain an information exposure vulnerability where the 'hsm fido2-test' and 'hsm onlykey-test' diagnostic commands unconditionally print the full derived hardware pepper as hex to stdout/stderr (crypt_cli.py, handle_hsm_command). The printed value can persist in terminal scrollback, session recordings, or CI logs. Impact is limited because the pepper is derived from a random per-invocation test salt and is salt-bound, so the leaked value cannot be used to decrypt real files. A related plugin issue logged raw prf_data outside the secret-redaction path. Fixed in 1.4.8 (and 1.5.0) by removing the hex dumps and routing plugin debug output through the redaction layer.

SiYuan before 3.7.4 fails to properly escape workspace directory paths when constructing command-line arguments for the elevated elevator.exe helper process. Attackers can create a malicious workspace directory with command metacharacters in its path and trigger the Microsoft Defender exclusion flow to execute arbitrary commands with administrator privileges after UAC approval.

OpenTofu versions before 1.11.4 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the tofu init command when processing maliciously-crafted .zip archives for provider or module packages. Attackers can cause excessive CPU usage by controlling .zip archive content served during dependency installation, degrading system performance and preventing timely completion of the init process.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: mgmt: fix UAF in pair command cancellation The pairing completion and authentication failure callbacks look up the pending MGMT_OP_PAIR_DEVICE command by walking hdev->mgmt_pending. The lookup returned a command that was still linked on the shared pending list, without keeping mgmt_pending_lock held for the later dereference and removal. A concurrent MGMT_OP_CANCEL_PAIR_DEVICE request can remove and free the same pending command before the callback uses it. The reverse race is also possible when cancel_pair_device() gets a command from pending_find() and a callback removes it before the cancel path dereferences it. This can lead to a use-after-free and a second list_del(). Make the pairing lookup helpers transfer ownership of the pending command by removing it from hdev->mgmt_pending while holding mgmt_pending_lock. The callbacks and cancel path then complete the command and free it directly, so racing paths cannot find or free the same command again. Take a temporary hci_conn reference in cancel_pair_device() because the command completion drops the reference stored in the pending command.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: kvaser_usb_leaf: kvaser_usb_leaf_wait_cmd(): validate received command extents The wait and bulk receive paths walk variable-length commands from a USB buffer. A nonzero command shorter than CMD_HEADER_LEN can still be dispatched, and the wait path copies a matching command into a fixed caller-owned struct kvaser_cmd using the device-provided length. Reject nonzero commands that do not contain the fixed header or that extend beyond the current USB buffer item. In the wait path, also reject a matching command that exceeds the destination before copying it.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: bound DMA command body size against suffix pointer vmw_cmd_dma() locates the DCVE-2026-74443 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: bound DMA command body size against suffix pointer vmw_cmd_dma() locates the DMA suffix at (unsigned long) &cmd->body + header->size - sizeof(*suffix) without checking that header->size is large enough to contain both cmd->body and the suffix. An undersized header makes the suffix pointer underflow back into the previous command in the bounce buffer. The verifier later writes suffix->maximumOffset, clobbering verified fields of an already-relocated earlier command -- a TOCTOU on the device-visible command stream that lets one command rewrite another's GMR id, surface id, or other authenticated fields. Reject the command if the body is too small for the suffix to fit.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/hns: Fix log flood after cmd_mbox failure hns_roce_cmd_mbox() is the command interface between driver and hardware. When hardware is abnormal, the unlimited error printings after hns_roce_cmd_mbox() failure will cause log flood and even system crash. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
