Two client-side TLS/DTLS handshake parsers in NetX Secure read fields from a server-supplied message before validating that the message is long enough to contain them. Both are bounded out-of-bounds reads on a remotely reachable path, both are reached from a TLS or DTLS client connecting to a malicious or malformed server, and both have the same shape: the bounds check exists and returns the correct status, but it runs after the read it is meant to guard.

Sep 29, 2026Issue summary: SM2 signature generation uses non-constant-time arithmetic on secret values, forming a timing side-channel.CVE-2026-77696 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgLow 3.7
Issue summary: SM2 signature generation uses non-constant-time arithmetic on secret values, forming a timing side-channel. Impact summary: An attacker able to measure SM2 signing times may learn information about the per-signature secret nonce, which over many signatures can, via a lattice / Hidden Number Problem attack, lead to recovery of the private key. CWE: CWE-208: Observable Timing Discrepancy Description: SM2 signature generation computes the signature value using variable-time BIGNUM operations on the secret nonce and the private key, so the time taken to produce an SM2 signature depends on these secret values, forming a timing side-channel. Applications performing SM2 signature generation are affected on all platforms. FIPS Impact: no SM2 is not a FIPS algorithm.

Sep 29, 2026In wsl-pro-service before 0.1.19ubuntu3, the service component which runs as root inside each WSL instance attaches the instance to Ubuntu Pro by executing the CVE-2026-102371 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5.7
In wsl-pro-service before 0.1.19ubuntu3, the service component which runs as root inside each WSL instance attaches the instance to Ubuntu Pro by executing the pro client with the Ubuntu Pro token passed as a command-line argument (pro attach <token>). On systems where /proc is mounted without process-hiding mitigations (such as hidepid), which is the default in WSL, an unprivileged local user or process in the same WSL instance can read the token from /proc/<pid>/cmdline while the attach process is running. The leaked token could then be used to attach other machines to the victim's Ubuntu Pro subscription and gain unauthorized access to Ubuntu Pro services.

Sep 28, 2026Nest is a framework for building scalable Node.js server-side applications.CVE-2026-102281 · Other software · nestjs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Nest is a framework for building scalable Node.js server-side applications. Prior to 11.2.4 and 12.0.2, a single message with a deeply nested object in its pattern can terminate a NestJS microservice using the TCP or RabbitMQ transport. ServerTCP#handleMessage and ServerRMQ#handleMessage pass a client-controlled non-string pattern to JSON.stringify to derive the handler lookup key; sufficiently deep nesting throws RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded, and the unhandled promise rejection terminates Node.js under its default behavior. An attacker who can reach the TCP port or publish to the consumed RabbitMQ queue or exchange can crash the service on demand; other transports are not affected because their patterns arrive as strings. This issue is fixed in versions 11.2.4 and 12.0.2.

Sep 28, 2026WarehousePG (WHPG) 7.x before 7.6.0-WHPG is affected by a missing authorization vulnerability (CWE-862) in the built-in server-side file functions pg_file_writeCVE-2026-96538 · Other software · EnterpriseDB · reported by 20be33e2-bf35-4d13-8fad-18bd2f3e3659High 8.7
WarehousePG (WHPG) 7.x before 7.6.0-WHPG is affected by a missing authorization vulnerability (CWE-862) in the built-in server-side file functions pg_file_write(text,text,bool), pg_file_rename(text,text,text), pg_file_unlink(text), and pg_logdir_ls(). These functions are executable by any authenticated database role with no GRANT required, because the REVOKE that contrib/adminpack applies to the equivalent functions was never carried over to WHPG core when their catalog entries were repointed to the ungated adminpack-derived implementations as part of Greenplum's merge to a PostgreSQL 12 base. A non-superuser can use pg_file_write, pg_file_rename, and pg_file_unlink to create, overwrite (append), rename, and delete files under the data and log directories, and can use pg_logdir_ls() to enumerate log file names. Because postgresql.auto.conf resides in the data directory, a non-superuser can append configuration directives such as shared_preload_libraries or archive_command to it, resulting in arbitrary code execution as the postgres operating system user on the next server restart or configuration reload. WarehousePG 6.x is not affected, as the equivalent functions there enforce a s

Sep 28, 2026Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an authenticated user with entry-editing rights on a weblog to cause outbound HTTP requests to CVE-2026-82375 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.4
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an authenticated user with entry-editing rights on a weblog to cause outbound HTTP requests to attacker-chosen destinations through legacy outbound Trackback and entry enclosure handling. The Trackback control is hidden in the standard UI, but its action remains directly reachable; the enclosure path is relevant only when an author supplies an enclosure URL. No non-default server configuration is required, and the default empty Trackback allow-list permits all destinations. Requests can reach loopback and private-network addresses, while enclosure handling exposes response status, content type, and length. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which removes the outbound trackback action and stops dereferencing enclosure URLs.

Sep 27, 2026In wolfSSL versions 5.7.2 through 5.9.2 there is a client-side implementation flaw in RFC 6961, multiple OCSP response stapling, which can lead to certificate fCVE-2026-89102 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comHigh 8.3
In wolfSSL versions 5.7.2 through 5.9.2 there is a client-side implementation flaw in RFC 6961, multiple OCSP response stapling, which can lead to certificate forgery. When a wolfSSL client enables OCSP stapling with the HAVE_CERTIFICATE_STATUS_REQUEST_V2 feature and calls wolfSSL_UseOCSPStaplingV2(ssl, WOLFSSL_CSR2_OCSP_MULTI, options), the client accepts any certificate in the peer's chain as a certificate authority without verifying that the certificate is actually authorized to act as one. This means that an attacker who possesses any certificate that chains to a CA trusted by the client (along with its private key) can forge certificates for arbitrary identities that will be accepted as valid by the client. The end entity certificate of the server is stored in the persistent trust store, affecting subsequent connections that reuse the context even when OCSP multi usage is not employed. Found by internal wolfSSL testing.

Sep 26, 2026Heym versions 0.0.90 and earlier contain two server-side request forgery (SSRF) egress gaps, both remediated in app/services/ssrf_guard.py in 0.0.91.CVE-2026-100863 · Other software · heymrun · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
Heym versions 0.0.90 and earlier contain two server-side request forgery (SSRF) egress gaps, both remediated in app/services/ssrf_guard.py in 0.0.91. First, the LLM image-edit input loader (_load_image_bytes) fetched caller-controlled HTTP/HTTPS URLs with a bare httpx.get, applying only a scheme check and bypassing the egress-pinning HTTP client; because the workflow DSL supports "imageInput": "$userInput.body.imageUrl", a webhook or API caller can choose the fetch target when a workflow author uses that expression, allowing requests to loopback, RFC1918, and cloud metadata endpoints. Second, _is_public_address unwrapped only IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses, so IPv6 transition forms — the NAT64 well-known prefix 64:ff9b::/96, deprecated IPv4-compatible ::x.x.x.x addresses, and 6to4 (2002::/16, classified as globally routable by Python 3.11.0 through 3.11.9) — could carry loopback, RFC1918, link-local, or cloud-metadata IPv4 destinations past both the initial URL validation and the dial-time IP pin. Version 0.0.91 routes the image loader through guard_http_url and the guarded client, evaluates NAT64 and IPv4-compatible addresses by their embedded IPv4 address, and refuses 64:ff9b:1::/48,

Sep 26, 2026heym before 0.0.109 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Slack, Discord, and Crawler workflow nodes.CVE-2026-100858 · Other software · heymrun · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.6
heym before 0.0.109 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Slack, Discord, and Crawler workflow nodes. These nodes issue HTTP requests to URLs taken from user-created credentials (webhook_url / flaresolverr_url) using an unguarded HTTP client, bypassing the SSRF egress guard that already protects the HTTP, WebSocket, and MCP nodes; the credential API validates only that the URL is non-empty. Any registered user can create a credential pointing at an internal address and execute a workflow, causing the backend to reach loopback, private, link-local, or cloud-metadata endpoints and return the full response body in the node output (non-blind SSRF).

AzuraCast before 0.23.8 contains a server-side request forgery and local file read vulnerability in the AutoDJ remote playlist fetch (backend/src/Radio/AutoDJ/QueueBuilder.php, getMediaFromRemoteUrl()). A user with the station Media permission can create or update a playlist with source=remote_url and remote_type=playlist whose remote_url points at a file:// path or an internal/loopback/link-local HTTP endpoint. When AutoDJ builds the queue, the backend passes the user-supplied URL directly to file_get_contents() with no scheme allowlist and no private/loopback/metadata IP policy (PHP allow_url_fopen is enabled by default, including in the Docker image). Lines from the fetched resource are parsed as M3U/PLS entries, stored in StationQueue.autodj_custom_uri, and returned by GET /api/station/{station_id}/queue to any user with the Broadcasting permission, disclosing host files readable by the web container (for example /etc/passwd or the application .env) and the bodies of non-blind internal HTTP requests. Sep 26, 2026vm2 before 3.12.2 does not apply host-side Promise rejection handling in the sandbox-to-host construct trap.CVE-2026-100722 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.9
vm2 before 3.12.2 does not apply host-side Promise rejection handling in the sandbox-to-host construct trap. In BaseHandler, the apply trap calls markHostPromiseHandled() on the returned value, but the adjacent construct path returns the result of Reflect.construct without the same sanitization. If an embedder exposes a constructable host function whose constructor returns a native rejected Promise, an untrusted script executed via VM.run can invoke it with `new` and ignore the result; the rejected host Promise crosses the bridge unhandled and, under Node's strict unhandled-rejection policy, is promoted to an uncaught exception that terminates the host process.

Sep 26, 2026Kyverno before 1.19.1 is vulnerable to server-side request forgery.CVE-2026-100705 · Other software · kyverno · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.3
Kyverno before 1.19.1 is vulnerable to server-side request forgery. The default egress blocklist (169.254.169.254, 169.254.169.253, metadata.google.internal, 127.0.0.0/8, ::1/128) and the scoped-token control were wired only into the new CEL http.Get/Post library and were never applied to the legacy apiCall service executor (pkg/engine/apicall/executor.go) or to the GlobalContextEntry external-API path, which handle every non-CEL context[].apiCall.service call. Because these paths use a plain net/http client with no egress filtering and no validation of the configured service URL, a ClusterPolicy or GlobalContextEntry author — or, where a deployed policy templates the service URL from the admission resource, a lower-privileged resource submitter — can cause Kyverno to issue GET/POST requests to an arbitrary host, including the cloud metadata endpoint, loopback, and any in-cluster service, reading cloud instance credentials and reaching internal endpoints with Kyverno's network position. The executor also unconditionally attaches Kyverno's projected ServiceAccount token to the attacker-chosen destination; the token is audience-scoped, limiting its replay value. Fixed in 1.19.1.

Adminer 4.16.0 through 6.0.1 contain a pre-authentication Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the optional Elasticsearch driver (plugins/drivers/elastic.php), fixed in 6.0.2. Because adminer/include/auth.inc.php invokes Driver::connect() before the login result is validated, an unauthenticated attacker who submits crafted auth[server], auth[username], and auth[password] parameters can cause the Adminer server to issue an HTTP GET request (via get_url()/file_get_contents()) to an arbitrary reachable host and port. The driver validates only general server syntax and does not block loopback, private, link-local, or other reserved addresses; if no port is given it appends the default 9200, and Adminer's generic port check rejects ports below 1024. Selected JSON error fields from non-2xx Elasticsearch-style responses, as well as connection failures, are rendered on the login page, providing a port-scanning oracle and enabling internal network reconnaissance and service fingerprinting. Exploitation requires that the optional Elasticsearch driver be explicitly deployed (e.g., via the adminer/elastic.php template or an adminer_object() configuration; it is not loaded in a d

Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) application/backend contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the public profile preview's image fetching.CVE-2026-100601 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) application/backend contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the public profile preview's image fetching. The preview accepts a user-supplied image URL and checks the textual hostname against private-address patterns, but does not validate or pin the resolved network destination, so a public-looking hostname can resolve to an internal address or change resolution between validation and connection (DNS rebinding). A maintainer-run local harness demonstrated an outbound connection to an owner-controlled loopback listener; access to production internal services, credential disclosure, and code execution were not demonstrated. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. Fixed by PR #3683, included in revision 8c2de6c506bb4efabe3f0c2ffb8370b9e23d4650, which was deployed to clawhub.ai on 2026-09-11; self-hosted deployments should update to that revision or a later descendant. The npm CLI and OpenClaw runtime are separate products and are not affected.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its trusted-host DNS checks. For fetches that use the trusted-host DNS recheck, a trusted hostname that resolves to an unspecified address (0.0.0.0 or ::) bypasses the SSRF destination validation. An attacker who can influence DNS for an allowed hostname can therefore cause a guarded fetch to reach a service bound only to loopback and disclose its response; the practical impact depends on the reachable service and the data it returns. Fixed in 2026.8.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: remove stale namespaces by NSID range during scan nvme_scan_ns_list() drops the stale namespaces in each gap in the reported NSID list one NSID at a time. Every iteration calls nvme_find_get_ns() to look the namespace up and removes it if it is present. The loop runs once per NSID in the gap rather than once per namespace actually present. NSIDs are 32-bit, so a target with a sparse NSID space can make a single gap spin the loop billions of times with nothing to remove. watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#4 stuck for 26s! In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject untrusted allocated-object pointers When the final RCU read-side critical section ends, a local kptr is demoted to PTR_UNTRUSTED but retains MEM_ALLOC. The pointer may be NULL or may refer to an object whose lifetime is no longer protected. type_is_ptr_alloc_obj() nevertheless recognizes any PTR_TO_BTF_ID with MEM_ALLOC as a live allocated object. In particular, a refcount-only local kptr never carries NON_OWN_REF, so it still passes the bpf_refcount_acquire() argument check after RCU protection ends. The kfunc can then dereference NULL or stale memory. Make type_is_ptr_alloc_obj() reject PTR_UNTRUSTED pointers. Since type_is_non_owning_ref() is based on the same predicate, graph kfunc arguments obey the same live-object requirement. Fault-protected reads of the demoted pointer remain valid: writes are already rejected, and read fixups use bpf_may_fault_on_deref() rather than this predicate. [ kkd: Rewrote commit log ]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: honor forceuid/forcegid when mapping SIDs to uid/gid When the administrator mounts with forceuid or forcegid (uid=/gid= mount options), they expect all files to appear owned by the specified user/group. However, several code paths unconditionally called sid_to_id() to overwrite cf_uid/cf_gid with server-provided values, ignoring the administrator's explicit override: - smb311_posix_info_to_fattr() (stat via POSIX extensions) - cifs_posix_to_fattr() (readdir via POSIX extensions) - parse_sec_desc() (CIFS ACL ownership mapping) This allowed an untrusted server to dictate local file ownership even when the mount was configured to force specific uid/gid values. Fix all three call sites to check CIFS_MOUNT_OVERR_UID and CIFS_MOUNT_OVERR_GID before calling sid_to_id(), following the same pattern already used by cifs_unix_basic_to_fattr() for unix extensions.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fail DACL rewrite when the new DACL exceeds 64K replace_sids_and_copy_aces() CVE-2026-97559 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fail DACL rewrite when the new DACL exceeds 64K replace_sids_and_copy_aces() and set_chmod_dacl() accumulate the size of the DACL they build in a u16. That accumulator can wrap. validate_dacl() caps num_aces at (dacl_size - sizeof(struct smb_acl)) / 20, i.e. 3276 for a maximally sized DACL, while each rewritten ACE can grow to sizeof(struct smb_ace) (76 bytes) once its SID is replaced with one carrying SID_MAX_SUB_AUTHORITIES sub-authorities. The worst case is therefore sizeof(struct smb_acl) + 3276 * 76 = 248984 bytes, far beyond what a u16 can hold. A wraparound is reached with 863 ACEs. After the wraparound, ndacl_ptr->size becomes meaningless and the offset will point anywhere in the ACE array. As a result, we will see corruption of the DACL, which then gets sent to the server. This is not an out-of-bounds write as the allocation now covers the worst-case expansion, so writes will always go into the buffer. Adjust the code to use a u32 internally and return -EOVERFLOW in the overflow case. The operation must be refused, because a DACL can only hold 2^16-1 bytes on the wire and larger DACLs can

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: avoid using uninitialized SIDs in cifs_posix_to_fattr() cifs_posix_to_fattr()CVE-2026-97554 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: avoid using uninitialized SIDs in cifs_posix_to_fattr() cifs_posix_to_fattr() ignores the return value of posix_info_parse(). When a malformed POSIX directory entry is encountered (e.g. invalid SID lengths from an untrusted server), posix_info_parse() returns -1 without populating the 'parsed' struct. The uninitialized stack memory in parsed.owner and parsed.group is then passed to sid_to_id(), which processes the garbage bytes and passes them to request_key() to construct a SID string, potentially leaking kernel stack contents to the userspace idmap daemon. Fix this by checking the return value and skipping the SID-to-id mapping when parsing fails. The remaining fattr fields (timestamps, mode, etc.) are populated directly from the 'info' pointer so they are unaffected.
