Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) include PEC byte in pmbus_block_xfer read buffer adm1266_pmbus_blocCVE-2026-64086 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) include PEC byte in pmbus_block_xfer read buffer adm1266_pmbus_block_xfer() sets up the read transaction with .buf = data->read_buf, .len = ADM1266_PMBUS_BLOCK_MAX + 2, but read_buf in struct adm1266_data is declared as u8 read_buf[ADM1266_PMBUS_BLOCK_MAX + 1]; For a max-length block response (length byte = 255 + up to 1 PEC byte), the i2c controller is told to write 257 bytes into a 256-byte buffer, putting one byte past the end of read_buf. The same response also makes the subsequent PEC compare if (crc != msgs[1].buf[msgs[1].buf[0] + 1]) read a byte beyond the array. Bump the read_buf declaration to ADM1266_PMBUS_BLOCK_MAX + 2 so the buffer can hold the length byte, up to 255 payload bytes, and the PEC byte the i2c_msg length already accounts for.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) bounce blackbox records through a protocol-sized buffer adm1266_pmbCVE-2026-64085 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) bounce blackbox records through a protocol-sized buffer adm1266_pmbus_block_xfer() copies the device-supplied block payload into the caller-provided buffer using the device-supplied length: memcpy(data_r, &msgs[1].buf[1], msgs[1].buf[0]); The helper does not know how large data_r is and trusts the device to return at most one record's worth of bytes. adm1266_nvmem_read_blackbox() violates that contract: it advances read_buff inside data->dev_mem in ADM1266_BLACKBOX_SIZE (64-byte) strides while the helper is willing to write up to ADM1266_PMBUS_BLOCK_MAX (255) bytes. A device that returns more than 64 bytes on the trailing record (read_buff offset 1984 in the 2048-byte dev_mem allocation) overflows dev_mem by up to 191 bytes before the post-call if (ret != ADM1266_BLACKBOX_SIZE) return -EIO; can reject the response. Contain the fix in the caller without changing the helper signature: read each record into a 255-byte local bounce buffer that matches the helper's maximum output, validate the returned length, and only then copy exactly ADM1266_BLACKBOX_SIZE bytes into the dev_mem slo

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) cap PDIO scan in get_multiple at ADM1266_PDIO_NR adm1266_gpio_get_mCVE-2026-64084 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) cap PDIO scan in get_multiple at ADM1266_PDIO_NR adm1266_gpio_get_multiple() iterates the PDIO portion of the caller-supplied mask using for_each_set_bit_from(gpio_nr, mask, ADM1266_GPIO_NR + ADM1266_PDIO_STATUS) { ... } where ADM1266_PDIO_STATUS is the PMBus command code (0xE9, i.e. 233), not the number of PDIO pins. The intended upper bound is ADM1266_GPIO_NR + ADM1266_PDIO_NR = 25. gpiolib hands in a mask sized for gc.ngpio (= 25 bits on this chip), so the iteration walks find_next_bit() up to 242, reading up to 217 extra bits (a handful of unsigned-long words: four on 64-bit, seven on 32-bit) of whatever lives past the end of the mask in the caller's stack. Any incidental set bit in that range then drives a set_bit(gpio_nr, bits) call that writes past the end of the caller-supplied bits array too -- both out-of-bounds. Substitute ADM1266_PDIO_NR for the constant so the scan stops at the last real PDIO bit.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) reject short block-read responses in the GPIO accessors adm1266_gpiCVE-2026-64083 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) reject short block-read responses in the GPIO accessors adm1266_gpio_get() and adm1266_gpio_get_multiple() both compose the pin-status word as pins_status = read_buf[0] + (read_buf[1] << 8); right after i2c_smbus_read_block_data(), guarding only against an error return. A well-behaved device returns 2 bytes for GPIO_STATUS/PDIO_STATUS, but the helper happily reports a 0- or 1-byte response too. If the device returns 0 bytes, both read_buf slots are uninitialized stack memory; if it returns 1 byte, read_buf[1] is. The composed value then flows through set_bit() into the caller's *bits in adm1266_gpio_get_multiple(), or into the return value of adm1266_gpio_get(), and ends up in userspace via gpiolib (sysfs and the char-dev ioctls). That leaks a few bits of kernel stack per request on any device whose firmware glitch, bus error, or hostile slave produces a short block-read response. Add the missing length check to both call sites and surface a short response as -EIO.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (lm90) Stop work before releasing hwmon device Sashiko reports: In lm90_probe(), tCVE-2026-64038 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 4.7
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (lm90) Stop work before releasing hwmon device Sashiko reports: In lm90_probe(), the devm action to cancel the alert_work and report_work (lm90_restore_conf) is registered in lm90_init_client() before devm_hwmon_device_register_with_info() is called. Because devm executes cleanup actions in reverse order during module unbind or probe failure, the hwmon device is unregistered and freed first. If lm90_alert_work() or lm90_report_alarms() runs in the window between the hwmon device being freed and the delayed works being cancelled, lm90_update_alarms() will dereference the freed data->hwmon_dev here. Fix the problem by canceling the workers separately after registering the hwmon device and before registering the interrupt handler. This ensures that the workers are canceled after interrupts are disabled and before the hwmon device is released. Add "shutdown" flag to indicate that device shutdown is in progress to prevent workers from being re-armed.

Jul 17, 2026Datadog dd-trace-go is a Go client library for Datadog application performance monitoring, profiling, and security monitoring.CVE-2026-50274 · Other software · DataDog · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Datadog dd-trace-go is a Go client library for Datadog application performance monitoring, profiling, and security monitoring. Prior to 2.8.1, Datadog tracing libraries that implement W3C baggage propagation parse incoming baggage HTTP headers without enforcing DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_ITEMS or DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_BYTES limits on the extract path. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a request whose baggage header contains an arbitrarily large number of comma-separated key-value pairs or a single very large value, causing unbounded CPU and memory consumption and enabling a remote denial of service against HTTP services with baggage propagation enabled. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.1.

Jul 15, 2026The SAP Cloud Application Programming Model is a tool for building enterprise-grade cloud applications, and cap-js/cds-dbs is the monorepo for SQL database servCVE-2026-46421 · Other software · cap-js · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
The SAP Cloud Application Programming Model is a tool for building enterprise-grade cloud applications, and cap-js/cds-dbs is the monorepo for SQL database services for that tool. On April 29, 2026, compromised versions of `@cap-js/sqlite@2.2.2`, `@cap-js/postgres@2.2.2`, and `@cap-js/db-service@2.10.1` were published. The malicious packages harvested credentials and attempted self-propagation. If a compromised version was installed, all credentials accessible on that machine (npm tokens, cloud provider credentials, SSH keys, GitHub PATs) should be considered compromised. User should upgrade to `@cap-js/sqlite` >= 2.4.0, `@cap-js/postgres` >= 2.3.0, `@cap-js/db-service` >= 2.11.0. If a compromised version was ever installed, rotate all affected credentials. Jul 14, 2026In Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK versions 2.0.0-milestone-05 to 2.0.0-milestone-12, deployments using the MongoDB backend are vulnerable to an unauthenticated aCVE-2026-57898 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgCritical 9
In Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK versions 2.0.0-milestone-05 to 2.0.0-milestone-12, deployments using the MongoDB backend are vulnerable to an unauthenticated arbitrary file write through the AAS thumbnail API. The AAS thumbnail upload path accepted a client-controlled fileName request parameter and passed it through repository file handling as both a repository key and, during thumbnail retrieval, a local filesystem path. With the MongoDB file repository, the supplied filename was treated as an opaque GridFS key and was not normalized or restricted as a filesystem path. A remote attacker could upload thumbnail content using an absolute or traversal-style filename, then trigger thumbnail retrieval so that the uploaded bytes were written to the attacker-chosen path on the server filesystem. This could allow writing files anywhere the Java process has permission to write and may lead to remote code execution. The default InMemory backend is not affected by this specific path because it normalizes and restricts file paths to its temporary directory. The issue is fixed in Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK 2.0.0-milestone-13.

In OpENer 2.3.0 (commit 76b95cf) when parsing incoming CIP (Common Industrial Protocol) network packets, the length parameter is inconsistently typed across the call stack. Specifically, an upstream length calculated as an int is passed to a downstream function that expects an EipInt16 (a 16-bit signed integer). If a maliciously crafted packet with specific length fields is processed, the length parameter can overflow or be truncated into a negative value. This negative length bypasses subsequent bounds checking (due to signed/unsigned comparison issues) and is ultimately used in memory operations, leading to a Stack Buffer Overflow when reading data in DecodePaddedEPath.

Jul 9, 2026A Use of Multiple Resources with Duplicate Identifier vulnerability in the IKE daemon (iked) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX with SPC3 and SRX Series allows CVE-2026-57024 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netMedium 6.9
A Use of Multiple Resources with Duplicate Identifier vulnerability in the IKE daemon (iked) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX with SPC3 and SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). On an MX with SPC3 and SRX devices configured for VPN service, when a large number of VPN negotiations fail a peer index rollover will eventually occur. As a result, new peers are assigned index values that are already in use and the iked process starts to crash repeatedly. This results in failure to establish new VPN connections and rekeying existing ones. To restore service the system must be rebooted. Please note that the index value can't be monitored, so customers should monitor tunnel up and down events and if a lot of events occur over an extended period of time it becomes likely that this issue occurs. To be exposed to this issue the system needs to run iked (vs. kmd which is not affected), which can be verified with: user@host> show system processes extensive | match "KMD|IKED" This issue affects Junos OS on MX with SPC3, SRX Series: * all versions before 23.2R2-S7, * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S6, * 24.2 versions before

An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (RPD) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent, unauthenticated attacker sending a specific BGP update over an established BGP session to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). Upon receipt of a specifically malformed non-inet/inet6 unicast BGP update, an RPD crash and restart is triggered, which will cause a complete service outage until routing has reconverged. The rpd crash occurs before the update can be readvertised, so there is no downstream propagation. Over time, continuous receipt of these queries will result in snmpd process memory exhaustion, resulting in a process crash and restart, impacting the ability to monitor the system via SNMP. Memory usage can be monitored using the following command: user@device> show system processes extensive | match snmpd This issue affects: Junos OS: * all versions before 21.2R3-S8; * from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S7; * from 22.1 before 22.1R3-S6; * from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S4; * from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S3; * from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S2; * from 23.2 before 23.2R2; * from 23.4 before 23.4R2. Jul 9, 2026A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the management daemon (mgd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a local, high-privileged attackCVE-2026-21901 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netMedium 6.7
A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the management daemon (mgd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a local, high-privileged attacker setting or deactivating a specific SSH configuration parameter to create a Denial of Service (DoS). A local high-privileged user configuring or deactivating a specific 'system services ssh' configuration parameter can exploit a null pointer dereference in one of the functions used by SSH. The function attempts to dereference a null pointer when accessing certain configuration data, resulting in an mgd process crash and restart. Continued execution of these configuration commands will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. This issue affects: Junos OS: * from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S5; * from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S10; * from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S7; * from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S8. Monsta FTP before 2.14.5 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the fetchRemoteFile action caused by an incomplete IP blocklist check in the isBlockedIP() function, which fails to detect embedded IPv4 addresses within IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses. An unauthenticated attacker can obtain a CSRF token from the public getSystemVars endpoint and submit a fetchRemoteFile request with a source URL resolving to an IPv4-mapped address, causing the server to issue HTTP requests to internal services and write responses to an attacker-controlled FTP destination, enabling retrieval of cloud instance metadata credentials.

Jul 6, 2026Improper Input Validation, Improper Access Control vulnerability in Apache Camel in Camel Mongodb Gridfs component.CVE-2026-48204 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.8
Improper Input Validation, Improper Access Control vulnerability in Apache Camel in Camel Mongodb Gridfs component. The camel-mongodb-gridfs producer selects the GridFS operation to perform from the gridfs.operation Exchange header when the endpoint's operation parameter is not set - which is the default. The control-header constants (GridFsConstants.GRIDFS_OPERATION, GRIDFS_OBJECT_ID, GRIDFS_METADATA, GRIDFS_CHUNKSIZE, GRIDFS_FILE_ID_PRODUCED) were the plain strings gridfs.operation, gridfs.objectid, gridfs.metadata, gridfs.chunksize and gridfs.fileid. Because these names do not start with the Camel / camel prefix, HttpHeaderFilterStrategy - which blocks only the Camel header namespace on the HTTP boundary - let them pass from an inbound HTTP request straight into the Exchange. In a route that bridges an HTTP consumer (for example platform-http) into a mongodb-gridfs: producer with no explicit operation, any HTTP client could therefore set the gridfs.operation header to override the route's intended operation - switching, for example, a file upload to remove (deleting a file identified by the attacker-supplied gridfs.objectid), listAll (enumerating every file in the bucket) or fi

Two off-by-one errors in the FreeIPA ipa-otpd daemon's OAuth2 device authorization handler can cause out-of-bounds memory access when processing an oversized response from a configured external OAuth2/OIDC Identity Provider. An attacker who controls or can man-in-the-middle the IdP endpoint may be able to trigger ipa-otpd to write or read one byte past the end of a fixed-size buffer. Exploitation requires FreeIPA to be configured with an external IdP, attacker control or MITM of that IdP, and a user to initiate the OAuth2 device authorization flow. The most likely impact is limited denial of service affecting the ipa-otpd daemon.

An invalidly formatted IKEv2 fragment causes the Libreswan pluto daemon to crash and restart. Continued exploitation would cause a denial of service. The function reassemble_v2_incoming_fragments() would ignore unknown outer payloads but still store these in a fixed size array msg_digest.digest[PAYLIMIT]. An off-by-one error in the assertion PASSERT(logger, md->digest_roof < elemsof(md->digest)) causes the daemon to abort. No remote code execution is possible. Any configuration that allows IKEv2 connections that do not set fragmentation=no are vulnerable. IKEv1 is not affected.

Jul 1, 2026mchange-commons-java is a Java library of shared utility classes used by mchange projects like the c3p0 connection pool.CVE-2026-55153 · Other software · swaldman · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
mchange-commons-java is a Java library of shared utility classes used by mchange projects like the c3p0 connection pool. Prior to version 0.6.0, its JNDI ObjectFactory implementation (com.mchange.v2.naming.JavaBeanObjectFactory) will construct objects of arbitrary classes and initialize "JavaBean"-style properties, which for certain classes enables JNDI injection and "deserialization gadgets." Such initialization is unsafe for some classes: for example, setting the contentType property of a Swing JEditorPane to text/html and its text property to HTML containing a stylesheet <link> will provoke an HTTP GET on an arbitrary URL, potentially from within a trusted security domain. The problem is aggravated by the library's ReferenceIndirector, through which malicious JNDI Reference objects can be smuggled in for dereferencing wherever an application reads a Java-serialized object. This has been resolved in version 0.6.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: handle ctx allocation failure DAMON_LRU_SORT allocates the damon_ctx object for its kdamond in its init function. damon_lru_sort_enabled_store() wrongly assumes the allocation will always succeed once tried. If the damon_ctx allocation was failed, therefore, code execution reaches to damon_commit_ctx() while 'ctx' is NULL. As a result, it dereferences the NULL 'ctx' pointer. Avoid the NULL dereference by returning -ENOMEM if 'ctx' is NULL.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/reclaim: handle ctx allocation failure Patch series "mm/damon/{reclaim,lru_sort}: handle ctx allocation failures". DAMON_RECLAIM and DAMON_LRU_SORT could dereference NULL pointers if their damon_ctx object allocations fail. The bugs are expected to happen infrequently because the allocations are arguably too small to fail on common setups. But theoretically they are possible and the consequences are bad. Fix those. The issues were discovered [1] by Sashiko. This patch (of 2): DAMON_RECLAIM allocates the damon_ctx object for its kdamond in its init function. damon_reclaim_enabled_store() wrongly assumes the allocation will always succeed once tried. If the damon_ctx allocation was failed, therefore, code execution reaches to damon_commit_ctx() while 'ctx' is NULL. As a result, it dereferences the NULL 'ctx' pointer.
