  • Aug 24, 2026act starts an HTTP Artifacts V4 backend whenever a workflow uses actions/upload-artifact@v4 or actions/download-artifact@v4.CVE-2026-76847 · Other software · nektos · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

    act starts an HTTP Artifacts V4 backend whenever a workflow uses actions/upload-artifact@v4 or actions/download-artifact@v4. The control-plane RPCs of that backend, including CreateArtifact, GetSignedArtifactURL, ListArtifacts, FinalizeArtifact and DeleteArtifact, accept a caller-supplied workflow_run_backend_id and never check that it belongs to the requester: validateRunIDV4 in pkg/artifacts/artifacts_v4.go parses the value and returns it with the comparison against the requesting task's run ID left commented out. The signed URLs the backend issues are authenticated by an HMAC whose key is hardcoded to the four bytes 0xba 0xdb 0xee 0xf0, identical in every build, computed over a concatenation of endpoint, expiry, artifact name and task ID with no length prefix or delimiter, so signatures are both forgeable and ambiguous between differing artifact name and task ID pairs. The --artifact-server-addr flag defaults to the host's outbound address rather than loopback, leaving the backend reachable from the surrounding network. Any client that can reach it may read, overwrite or delete the artifacts of a concurrently running job with no credentials, exposing build outputs such as secret

    The HTTP media server running on DJI drones serves stored photos and videos through the `/v2` endpoint without authenticating the requesting client. Filenames follow a predictable pattern, allowing an attacker who joins the drone's internal network to enumerate valid filenames and exfiltrate stored photos and videos. The exposed media may reveal sensitive information, including private locations, property, travel history, identifiable individuals, and the operator's routines. Affected models are DJI Neo until 01.00.0400, DJI Neo 2 until 01.00.0500, DJI Flip until 01.00.1200, DJI Air 3 until 01.00.1600, DJI Air 3S until 01.00.1400, DJI Avata 2 until 01.00.0400, DJI Avata 360 until 01.00.0300, DJI Mavic 3 until 01.00.1400, DJI Mavic 3 Classic until 01.00.0800, DJI Mavic 3 Pro until 01.01.0700, DJI Mavic 4 Pro until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 2 until 01.07.0200, DJI Mini 3 until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 3 Pro until 01.00.0900, DJI Mini 4 Pro until 01.00.1100, and DJI Mini 5 Pro until 01.00.0600.

  • Aug 21, 2026KEDA is a Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling component.CVE-2026-53572 · Other software · kedacore · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

    KEDA is a Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling component. Prior to 2.20.0, pkg/scalers/postgresql_scaler.go constructs libpq-style connection strings from tenant-controlled host, port, userName, dbName, sslmode, and password values, while escapePostgreConnectionParameter() only quotes values containing a literal space. Tabs, newlines, carriage returns, form feeds, vertical tabs, quotes, and backslashes can therefore create additional key-value tokens when pgx parses the string. An attacker able to create or modify a TriggerAuthentication or ScaledObject can inject host or sslmode parameters, redirect the database connection to an attacker-controlled server, expose credentials, or disable intended TLS protection. This issue is fixed in version 2.20.0.

    Scriban before 7.0.0 (affected versions <= 6.6.0) contains a denial-of-service vulnerability in which the LimitToString safety limit (default 1MB) can be bypassed because ObjectToString resets the per-call length counter (_currentToStringLength) on every top-level call and StringBuilderOutput enforces no cumulative output-size limit. • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mpls: initialize rtm_tos in mpls_getroute() mpls_getroute() builds the RTM_NEWROUTE rCVE-2026-74577 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mpls: initialize rtm_tos in mpls_getroute() mpls_getroute() builds the RTM_NEWROUTE reply to an RTM_GETROUTE request by filling a struct rtmsg allocated from an skb whose data area is not zeroed (alloc_skb(NLMSG_GOODSIZE, ...)). It sets every field of the header except rtm_tos: r = nlmsg_data(nlh); r->rtm_family = AF_MPLS; r->rtm_dst_len = 20; r->rtm_src_len = 0; r->rtm_table = RT_TABLE_MAIN; r->rtm_type = RTN_UNICAST; r->rtm_scope = RT_SCOPE_UNIVERSE; r->rtm_protocol = rt->rt_protocol; r->rtm_flags = 0; struct rtmsg has no padding, so the one uninitialised byte rtm_tos (offset 3) is copied straight to user space on recvmsg(), leaking a byte of uninitialised heap memory. This is in contrast to mpls_dump_route(), which fills the very same header and does set rtm_tos = 0. Initialize rtm_tos to 0, matching mpls_dump_route(). Reproduced with KMSAN by adding an MPLS route and issuing a non-RTM_F_FIB_MATCH RTM_GETROUTE for its label: BUG: KMSAN: kernel-infoleak in _copy_to_iter+0x36c/0x33f0 _copy_to_iter+0x36c/0x33f0 __skb_datagram_iter+0x196/0x12c0 skb_copy_datagram_iter+0x5b/0x210 ne

    Apache Airflow's Google provider operators `GCSToSFTPOperator` and `GCSTimeSpanFileTransformOperator` joined GCS object names returned by the bucket listing API directly to a destination filesystem path without normalisation or containment check. A user with write access to the source GCS bucket (typically a different trust principal than the DAG author — partner uploads, ingest-only service accounts, public-data buckets) could create an object whose name contains `..` segments and cause the DAG run to write the downloaded blob outside the configured destination (the SFTP `destination_path` for `GCSToSFTPOperator`; the worker-local temp directory for `GCSTimeSpanFileTransformOperator`), enabling overwrite of arbitrary files on the SFTP server or the worker host. All three are predictable, low-entropy sources: the PID is drawn from a small range, the epoch time can be guessed or read from the HTTP Date header, and Perl's rand() is unsuitable for security purposes because it is predictable and reversible. An attacker who predicts a session id can impersonate the corresponding session and bypass authentication.

    Zephyr's IPv6 network stack can be prevented from receiving or processing future incoming packets by sending a small number of maliciously fragmented IPv6 packets. When such a packet is handled by the fragment-header processing path, the associated RX network packet buffer (allocated from a memory slab) is not released back to the pool. Repeating the malicious packet exhausts all RX buffer slots, after which the device can no longer obtain RX buffers and stops receiving traffic, resulting in a denial of service.

    Slopsmith is a self-contained web application for browsing, playing, and practicing Rocksmith 2014 Custom DLC (CDLC). Prior to 0.2.9-alpha.5, a path-traversal vulnerability in Slopsmith's archive extractors allows an attacker to write arbitrary files outside the extraction directory by supplying a crafted PSARC or sloppak archive. With the default Docker configuration (running as root) and the ability to drop a file into the plugin directory, this escalates to arbitrary remote code execution on the host. Three archive extractors concatenated archive-entry filenames directly onto the extraction root without validation: `lib/psarc.py::unpack_psarc` — PSARC TOC filenames; `lib/patcher.py::unpack_psarc` — duplicate of the above in the patcher flow; `lib/sloppak.py::_unpack_zip` — bare `ZipFile.extractall()` with no member filter. Each accepts entry names containing `..` segments, absolute paths, or backslash separators. The Python `zipfile` module's default `extractall()` is documented as not preventing traversal when callers don't supply a member-filter callback. Version 0.2.9-alpha.5 patches the issue. Until updated, do not open PSARC or sloppak archives from untrusted sources, and d

  • Jun 17, 2026Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-12165 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

    The Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 30.0.2 via the `RegistryUserRole` parameter. This is due to the plugin's admin menu being registered at the `edit_posts` capability level — granting Contributor-level users access to the plugin's admin pages and a valid `cg_admin` nonce — while the option-saving handler in `change-options-and-sizes.php` performs no `current_user_can()` capability check beyond `check_admin_referer('cg_admin')`, and the `RegistryUserRole` value is processed only through `sanitize_text_field()` and `htmlentities()` without restriction to an allowlist of permitted role names. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to overwrite the plugin's stored `RegistryUserRole` option with `administrator`, which the `cg_create_wp_user_from_google_user` function then reads back from the `contest_gal1ery_registry_and_login_options` database table without any allowlist validation and passes directly to `wp_update_user()`, effectively promoting a newly registered Google sign-in account to Administrat

    The Apache Airflow Samba provider's `GCSToSambaOperator` joined GCS object names to the SMB destination path without a containment check, so an object named with `../` segments resolved a write path outside the configured `destination_path`. A remote, unauthenticated BLE peer can trigger a 2-byte out-of-bounds write in the Bluetooth host during L2CAP LE CoC SDU reassembly. When the application enables segmentation (via chan_ops.alloc_buf) and the chosen RX pool has a user_data_size smaller than 2 bytes, the segmentation counter stored in the net_buf user_data area is written out of bounds in l2cap_chan_le_recv_seg (subsys/bluetooth/host/l2cap.c). The observed effects are an AddressSanitizer abort and, without ASan, heap corruption / fatal error.

  • Jun 9, 2026A remote, unauthenticated attacker can trigger memory corruption in Zephyr's HTTP server WebSocket upgrade path by sending a crafted Sec-WebSocket-Key header.CVE-2026-5067 · Other software · zephyrproject-rtos · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgCritical 9.8

    A remote, unauthenticated attacker can trigger memory corruption in Zephyr's HTTP server WebSocket upgrade path by sending a crafted Sec-WebSocket-Key header. The HTTP/1 header parser copies the header into a fixed-size buffer using a bounded copy that does not guarantee NUL termination when the input length reaches the buffer size. During upgrade handling the buffer is copied to a local stack buffer and passed to strlen(); if no NUL exists in-bounds, strlen() reads beyond the stack buffer and subsequent concatenation with the WebSocket magic string can write out of bounds. This leads to out-of-bounds read and write on stack memory, resulting in crash (denial of service) and potentially code execution. The path is reachable when CONFIG_HTTP_SERVER_WEBSOCKET is enabled.

  • Jun 4, 2026A potential out-of-bounds write/read exists in the TLS socket connect path of the network sockets subsystem (subsys/net/lib/sockets/sockets_tls.c).CVE-2026-5066 · Other software · zephyrproject-rtos · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.3

    A potential out-of-bounds write/read exists in the TLS socket connect path of the network sockets subsystem (subsys/net/lib/sockets/sockets_tls.c). When the TLS session cache is enabled, tls_session_store() and tls_session_restore() memcpy the caller-supplied address into a fixed-size buffer using the caller-controlled addrlen value without validating it against the destination size. struct net_sockaddr is an opaque type, so an application can pass an addrlen larger than sizeof(struct net_sockaddr) (for example 128 bytes into a 24-byte stack buffer), causing the memcpy to read and write past the end of the address memory used by the TLS session cache. This out-of-bounds write can lead to a crash and denial of service, and potentially to arbitrary code execution.

  • Jun 4, 2026An integer underflow in bt_mesh_sol_recv() in the Bluetooth Mesh solicitation handling (subsys/bluetooth/mesh/solicitation.c) leads to an out-of-bounds write.CVE-2026-5589 · Other software · zephyrproject-rtos · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.3

    An integer underflow in bt_mesh_sol_recv() in the Bluetooth Mesh solicitation handling (subsys/bluetooth/mesh/solicitation.c) leads to an out-of-bounds write. When CONFIG_BT_MESH_OD_PRIV_PROXY_SRV is enabled, the function parses solicitation PDUs from raw BLE advertising payloads. The AD parsing loop reads an attacker-controlled length byte (reported_len) and computes reported_len - 3 without checking that reported_len >= 3. When reported_len is less than 3, the subtraction is performed in signed int arithmetic and yields a negative value that bypasses the length guard and is then implicitly converted to a very large size_t when passed to net_buf_simple_pull_mem(). In builds without assertions, this wraps the buffer length and advances the data pointer far out of bounds, so subsequent reads dereference invalid memory. A nearby BLE device can trigger this with a non-connectable advertisement carrying a UUID16 AD structure and a crafted length byte, with no pairing or prior association required, potentially leading to denial of service or arbitrary code execution.
