  • Sep 14, 2026ShopEngine Elementor WooCommerce Builder Addon – All in One WooCommerce Solution with eCommerce Templates & Woo Widgets: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-85575 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The ShopEngine Elementor WooCommerce Builder Addon – All in One WooCommerce Solution with eCommerce Templates & Woo Widgets plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘shopengine_product_title_header_size’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Sep 14, 2026Froxlor before 2.2.0 (affected up to and including 2.2.0-rc3) generates /etc/pure-ftpd/db/mysql.conf with mode 0644 via the XML configuration templates in lib/cCVE-2024-58383 · Other software · froxlor · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

Froxlor before 2.2.0 (affected up to and including 2.2.0-rc3) generates /etc/pure-ftpd/db/mysql.conf with mode 0644 via the XML configuration templates in lib/configfiles/, even though the file contains the Froxlor SQL user's password. On systems where the parent directories are world readable (the default on Debian 12), any unprivileged local user able to execute commands or code on the host — including virtual users without SSH access who can upload PHP/CGI scripts — can read the file and obtain the Froxlor database credentials. Database access can then be leveraged to alter an administrator's password hash and TOTP seed, log in as a Froxlor administrator, and ultimately gain root privileges. Only instances configured to use pure-ftpd are affected.

  • Sep 12, 2026Royal Addons for Elementor – Addons and Templates Kit for Elementor: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-17585 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Royal Addons for Elementor – Addons and Templates Kit for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.1066 via the 'wpr_keyword' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract arbitrary postmeta values from all published posts via character-by-character substring matching across the entire wp_postmeta table. • Sep 10, 2026Affected versions of MISP do not consistently enforce the acting user's authorization when instantiating event templates.CVE-2026-88915 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1

Affected versions of MISP do not consistently enforce the acting user's authorization when instantiating event templates. For templates using distribution = 4, the template can specify a sharing_group_id. The instantiation path passed that value into event creation without verifying that the user instantiating the template was actually permitted to use the selected sharing group. The commit notes that Event::_add() only performed its own sharing-group authorization in another code path, leaving template instantiation able to write the identifier directly. The same instantiation path also attached template-specified tags without checking the user's normal tagging permissions. In addition, it hardcoded local => 0, meaning tags marked local_only could be attached globally and consequently propagate through synchronization or export, contrary to their intended restriction. The fix adds explicit SharingGroup::canUse() authorization for the acting user, applies the same tag-modification checks used by normal event tagging, and ensures local_only tags are attached locally. • Sep 7, 2026Affected versions of MISP inconsistently enforced email-address visibility in DashboardsController::listTemplates().CVE-2026-86417 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

Affected versions of MISP inconsistently enforced email-address visibility in DashboardsController::listTemplates(). The query always fetched User.email, while redaction happened only inside the non-REST rendering branch. As a result, the same authenticated user who saw redacted data in the normal HTML interface could request the REST/JSON representation and receive template owners’ email addresses without the intended privilege check. The fix moves the decision to a centralized User::canSeeEmails() authorization helper. Email addresses are now fetched only when the requester is a site administrator or the instance explicitly enables Security.disclose_user_emails. The same helper is also reused by other dashboard widgets to keep email-disclosure policy consistent. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

  • Sep 7, 2026Affected versions of MISP allow any authenticated user to access TemplatesController::uploadFile() because the ACL entry for templates/uploadFile used the wildcCVE-2026-86347 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1

Affected versions of MISP allow any authenticated user to access TemplatesController::uploadFile() because the ACL entry for templates/uploadFile used the wildcard *. This bypasses the intended role restrictions applied to neighboring template-management operations. The upload handler accepts arbitrary content with only minimal checks and writes it into app/tmp/files/. A low-privileged or read-only user can therefore repeatedly upload files and consume server disk space without requiring perm_add or perm_template. The fix changes the ACL requirement from * to perm_add. The commit also rules out stronger impacts: uploaded files receive random names, path traversal/predictable overwrite is not available, the temporary directory is outside the web root, and the files are not directly served over HTTP. Therefore, the issue should not be described as arbitrary file overwrite, stored XSS, or RCE. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

  • Sep 3, 2026A vulnerability in MISP's event template handling allowed an authenticated user with permission to create or modify event templates to bypass validation of the CVE-2026-85239 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1

A vulnerability in MISP's event template handling allowed an authenticated user with permission to create or modify event templates to bypass validation of the template definition field. The EventTemplate::beforeValidate() method only performed semantic validation when the supplied definition was already represented as an array. If a caller instead supplied a pre-encoded string, including malformed JSON or JSON representing an unexpected data type, the value bypassed validateDefinition() and only needed to satisfy the generic notBlank validation rule. As a result, an invalid event template definition could be stored persistently in the database. When event templates were subsequently retrieved, EventTemplate::afterFind() attempted to decode the stored definition using JsonTool::decode() without handling decoding failures. A definition containing invalid JSON could therefore trigger an exception during retrieval. Because the event template index is available to all authenticated users, a single malicious or malformed template could make the event template listing and other functionality relying on EventTemplate queries return HTTP 500 errors until the offending database row was ma

  • Sep 3, 2026A security vulnerability was discovered in Fleet's Helm template preprocessing where templates evaluated by the Fleet controller could reach network resources oCVE-2026-75036 · Other software · SUSE · reported by meissner@suse.deMedium 5.3

A security vulnerability was discovered in Fleet's Helm template preprocessing where templates evaluated by the Fleet controller could reach network resources outside the management cluster. A user who can supply bundle content to a repository referenced by a `GitRepo` resource can cause the Fleet controller to: - Disclose cluster metadata available to the templating context. - Reveal information about hosts reachable from the controller's network position. Because the disclosure channel is name resolution, it may remain effective in environments where outbound traffic is otherwise restricted. The disclosed information is limited to values exposed to the Fleet templating context and to name resolution results. Integrity and availability of managed clusters are not affected. • Aug 20, 2026Handlebars.java provides logic-less and semantic Mustache templates with Java.CVE-2026-63490 · Other software · jknack · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Handlebars.java provides logic-less and semantic Mustache templates with Java. Prior to 4.5.3, com.github.jknack.handlebars.springmvc.SpringTemplateLoader resolves attacker-influenced Spring MVC view names through Spring ResourceLoader without the path-containment validation used by other URL-based loaders. In handlebars-springmvc/src/main/java/com/github/jknack/handlebars/springmvc/SpringTemplateLoader.java, a view name using a file: or classpath: URL and ending with the # fragment delimiter places the appended .hbs suffix in the fragment, which FileUrlResource.exists() and URL.openStream() discard. HandlebarsViewResolver in handlebars-springmvc/src/main/java/com/github/jknack/handlebars/springmvc/HandlebarsViewResolver.java then passes the attacker-controlled name to handlebars.compile(), allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to read files accessible to the JVM when an application exposes a controller with a user-influenced view name. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.3.

The Templately – Elementor & Gutenberg Template Library: 6500+ Free & Pro Ready Templates And Cloud! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.1 via the fetch_remote_file function. This is due to a filename validation/destination mismatch in fetch_remote_file, where file type validation is performed against the attacker-controlled Content-Disposition filename rather than the URL-path-derived destination filename. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to execute code on the server. A GIF+PHP polyglot file passes wp_check_filetype_and_ext validation as image/gif via the Content-Disposition filename, while the actual destination path is written with a .php extension derived from the URL path, bypassing the unfiltered_upload capability gate entirely. • Aug 11, 2026Claude Code Templates is a CLI tool for configuring and monitoring Claude Code.CVE-2026-73222 · Other software · davila7 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Claude Code Templates is a CLI tool for configuring and monitoring Claude Code. Prior to 1.29.4, the Claude Code Studio server launched by the --studio option in cli-tool/src/sandbox-server.js binds to all interfaces on port 3444, permits cross-origin requests, and requires no authentication. The POST /api/execute endpoint passes the prompt request-body field to executeLocalTask(), and POST /api/install-agent passes the agentName request-body field to a child process. The same unsafe agent field path is reachable from /api/execute through checkAndInstallAgent(). These attacker-controlled values reach child_process.spawn() with shell execution enabled, causing Node.js to construct a shell command in which metacharacters are interpreted. An attacker who can reach the port directly, or who convinces a developer running Studio to visit a malicious website, can execute arbitrary operating-system commands with the developer's privileges and compromise source code, credentials, and local data. This issue is fixed in version 1.29.4.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: reject optional IPTFS templates in outbound policies syzbot reported a stack-out-of-bounds read in xfrm_state_find() which flows from xfrm_tmpl_resolve_one(). Commit 3d776e31c841 ("xfrm: Reject optional tunnel/BEET mode templates in outbound policies") disallowed optional tunnel and BEET in outbound policies to prevent this. Later when IPTFS added, it was not covered by that fix and can still trigger the out-of-bounds read; Extend the check to disallow optional IPTFS in outbound policies as well. IPTFS should be identical to tunnel mode. IN and FWD policies are not affected: xfrm_tmpl_resolve_one() is only reachable via the outbound path. Reproducer, before: ip link add dummy0 type dummy ip link set dummy0 up ip addr add 10.1.1.1/24 dev dummy0 ip xfrm policy add src 10.1.1.1/32 dst 10.1.1.2/32 dir out tmpl src fc00::dead:1 dst fc00::dead:2 proto esp reqid 1 mode iptfs level use tmpl src fc00::dead:1 dst fc00::dead:2 proto esp reqid 2 mode transport ping -W 1 -c 1 10.1.1.2 PING 10.1.1.2 (10.1.1.2) 56(84) bytes of data. The fix for CVE-2026-12044 in pgAdmin 4 9.16 hardened qtLiteral and switched sixteen COMMENT ON / pgstattuple / pgstatindex templates to it, but missed several sinks that had been placed in test_sql_string_literal_lint.py's ALLOWLIST on the incorrect assumption that schema, table, publication, and subscription names sourced from pg_catalog via the browser tree could never contain an apostrophe. PostgreSQL permits arbitrary characters in quoted identifiers, so a low-privileged user able to CREATE TABLE, CREATE PUBLICATION, or CREATE SUBSCRIPTION can plant an apostrophe'd object name that breaks out of the unescaped '{{ name }}' template interpolation the moment any user (including a higher-privileged one) opens that object's Statistics or Dependencies tab, allowing arbitrary SQL statement injection in the viewing user's database session. Affected sinks: the Index Statistics query for all-indexes listing (coll_stats.sql, both the 16_plus and default PostgreSQL-version template variants -- distinct from the single-index stats.sql path already fixed in CVE-2026-12044), and the publication and subscription dependencies.sql / get_position.sql templates (both the pg and ppas/EPAS dialect

DOMPurify versions >=3.0.0 and before 3.4.8, when configured with SAFE_FOR_TEMPLATES together with a DOM output mode (RETURN_DOM, RETURN_DOM_FRAGMENT, or IN_PLACE), fail to strip template expressions (e.g. ${evil}, {{evil}}, <%evil%>) inside <template> element content. The final normalization/scrub pass (_scrubTemplateExpressions) uses a NodeIterator and node.normalize() that do not descend into template.content, so expressions that only form after adjacent text nodes merge survive sanitization. This bypasses SAFE_FOR_TEMPLATES and can allow a downstream template engine to evaluate attacker-supplied expressions. The string output path is not affected.
