Oct 13, 2026Affected devices do not properly restrict executable content contained in imported trace files.CVE-2026-63350 · Other software · Siemens · reported by productcert@siemens.comCritical 9.4
Affected devices do not properly restrict executable content contained in imported trace files. This could allow an attacker to social engineer an authorized user who holds the function right “Read diagnostics” into importing a specially crafted trace file. Successful exploitation could allow attacker-controlled JavaScript to execute in the user’s browser session and perform PLC operations through the web server within the scope of the user’s authorization.

The Simple Newsletter Plugin – Noptin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'noptin_fields[<custom_field_merge_tag>] (e.g. first_name)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The attack chain requires a published campaign post whose body contains a [[subscriber.*]] merge tag; the unauthenticated attacker first POSTs the entity-encoded payload to the public manage_preferences form (which issues its own nonce on the same page), then pivots execution by embedding their confirm_key in a campaign preview URL sent to a privileged user via social engineering.

Oct 8, 2026Banks generates meaningful LLM prompts using a simple template language.CVE-2026-107717 · Other software · masci · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Banks generates meaningful LLM prompts using a simple template language. Prior to 2.5.0, Banks Prompt.chat_messages() attempts to parse every line of rendered template output as ChatMessage JSON. When an application renders untrusted data and passes the returned ChatMessage objects to an LLM provider, attacker-controlled JSON can cross the prompt boundary and become a system, assistant, or tool message because ChatMessage.role accepts arbitrary strings. This can override application instructions, alter the intended prompt structure, or confuse downstream tool and message handling. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0.

Oct 6, 2026MISP exposes critical infrastructure settings—specifically the Redis host addresses used by the core application, the ZeroMQ plugin, and the SimpleBackgroundJobCVE-2026-106513 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.9
MISP exposes critical infrastructure settings—specifically the Redis host addresses used by the core application, the ZeroMQ plugin, and the SimpleBackgroundJobs plugin—through its web UI and API to site-admin users. The background job workers trust raw Redis job payloads without additional validation. An attacker who obtains a hijacked site-admin session (for example, through a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability) can modify the Redis host settings to point at an attacker-controlled Redis server and then restart the workers. Once the workers connect to the attacker's Redis instance, the attacker can inject malicious job payloads that the workers execute, achieving arbitrary command execution as the worker account. Additionally, the download_attachments_on_load setting, which controls inline attachment rendering, was modifiable through the same interface, allowing a hijacked session to re-enable a feature that could facilitate further client-side attacks. The vulnerability requires site-admin privileges and a prior session-compromise mechanism; it does not require unauthenticated access. The impact is remote code execution in the context of the MISP worker process and potenti

Oct 6, 2026SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions.CVE-2026-105798 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. Prior to 0.261.029, POST /api/group_documents/upload stores an attacker-controlled group document filename that group_workspaces.html later interpolates into inline Share event handlers. The escapeGroupHtml function leaves apostrophes unchanged, while escapeHtml produces an HTML entity that the browser decodes before JavaScript evaluation, so either path permits the filename to terminate the handler string. An authenticated group Owner, Admin, or DocumentManager can persist script that executes in the SimpleChat origin when another group member clicks Share, allowing access to victim-visible data and actions with the victim session. This issue is fixed in version 0.261.029.

Oct 6, 2026SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions.CVE-2026-105797 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. In versions 0.261.003 and 0.261.027, an authorization ordering flaw in POST /api/user/plugins allows an authenticated low-privileged user to omit the top-level MCP type so that _reject_non_admin_mcp_stdio skips inspection before the type is restored from metadata. The stored personal action can then reach McpPluginFactory.create_connector, and MCPStdioPlugin.connect starts the attacker-selected operating-system process under the application service identity when the action tool is invoked. Exploitation requires personal plugins to be enabled and governance to permit MCP actions, and it can expose or modify secrets and data available to the service or disrupt the service. This issue is fixed in version 0.261.031.

Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105751 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.107.0 until 2.120.3, docling/backend/opendocument_backend.py uses the xlink:href attribute value of a draw:image element as a filesystem path when the referenced part is not found in the document archive. The _image_ref_from_odf_image function reads that attacker-controlled path without a scheme check, extraction-directory confinement, or the enable_local_fetch setting used by other backends. Readable files that Pillow can decode as images are embedded in converted output, and other existing paths can be distinguished through the attempted read. This issue is fixed in 2.120.3.

Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105750 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.82.0 until 2.118.1, HTMLBackendOptions(render_page=True) permits file URLs because HTMLDocumentBackend._get_browser_request_block_reason does not enforce the enable_local_fetch setting or confine local requests to the source document directory. Crafted path-backed HTML can embed a readable local text file in a browser-rendered page image when Playwright is installed. Only filesystem Path inputs are affected because stream inputs use an opaque origin, and the default configuration, command-line interface, docling-serve, and non-rendering backends are not affected. Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105749 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.0.0 until 2.131.0, the HTML, JATS, OpenDocument spreadsheet, and BoxNote backends, including docling/backend/html_backend.py, docling/backend/jats_backend.py, and docling/backend/boxnote_backend.py, accept the rowspan and colspan attribute values without an upper bound and execute loops or allocate a table grid proportional to the declared span. A very small document can therefore cause sustained CPU use or multi-gigabyte memory allocation, and the document_timeout setting does not interrupt the single backend conversion call. Export through the TableData.grid property can further materialize the oversized grid. This issue is fixed in 2.131.0.

Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105748 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.16.0 until 2.131.0, the InputFormat.JSON_DOCLING backend in docling/backend/json/docling_json_backend.py validates serialized DoclingDocument input without rejecting picture image references that contain local paths or file URIs. When the document is enriched or exported with ImageRefMode.EMBEDDED, the DoclingDocument._with_embedded_pictures and ImageRef.pil_image methods can open those references and place readable image bytes in Markdown or HTML output. Disclosure is limited to files Pillow can decode as images, while differing decode behavior can also reveal whether a path exists. Direct untrusted loading through docling-core is outside this Docling fix. This issue is fixed in 2.131.0.

Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105747 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.45.0 until 2.131.0, METS-GBS format detection in docling/datamodel/document.py and the backend in docling/backend/mets_gbs_backend.py call tarfile.TarFile.getmembers() before enforcing the max_member_count limit, causing the full archive member list to be allocated before the limit can stop processing. A small gzip-compressed tar archive with a very large number of empty members can therefore consume memory proportional to the declared member count, including during format detection before the allowed_formats restriction is applied. This issue is a residual weakness in the member-count protection added for CVE-2026-44018. This issue is fixed in 2.131.0.

Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105746 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubLow 2.2
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.83.0 until 2.131.0, the KServeV2OcrModel class defined in docling/models/stages/ocr/kserve_v2_ocr_model.py sends page images to its configured endpoint without checking the pipeline_options.enable_remote_services setting, even when the caller sets that policy control to false. The StandardPdfPipeline._make_ocr_model method also fails to pass the flag into the OCR factory, allowing remote OCR processing in configurations that rely on remote services being disabled. Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105745 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.7
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.27.0 until 2.131.0, Docling plugin factories in docling/models/factories/base_factory.py call load_setuptools_entrypoints() before applying the allow_external_plugins setting, so every module registered in the Docling entry-point group is imported even when external plugins are disabled. An installed third-party or compromised package can therefore execute import-time code when Docling starts, while the subsequent namespace filter misleadingly reports that the plugin was not loaded. Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105744 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.94.0 until 2.132.0, callers that opt into LatexBackendOptions(tikz_engine="tectonic") invoke docling/backend/latex/engines/tectonic.py to compile an untrusted TikZ body and document preamble without restricting TeX file primitives including \openin and \openout. Crafted input can read files available to the converter and create or overwrite writable files, and enabling the tikz_engine_allow_shell_escape option additionally permits shell commands through TeX. Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105743 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubMedium 4
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.91.0 until 2.132.0, validate_url_safety in docling/backend/utils/image_resource_loader.py validates a hostname with a single IPv4 lookup and then allows the HTTP client to resolve and parse the original URL again, permitting DNS rebinding, mixed public and internal address records, and backslash authority parser disagreement to reach internal services. HTMLBackendOptions(render_page=True) also allows HTTP and HTTPS browser requests without validating their resolved destination. Oct 5, 2026Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem.CVE-2026-105742 · Other software · docling-project · reported by GitHubLow 3.7
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.95.0 until 2.132.0, the HTML image resource loader in docling/backend/utils/image_resource_loader.py forwards headers configured through the HTMLBackendOptions.headers setting to every remote image URL named by an untrusted document when enable_remote_fetch=True and fetch_images=True. The loader does not restrict those credentials to the source document's origin, allowing requests that carry custom headers such as API keys and cookies to follow cross-origin redirects and expose the caller's configured credentials to a document author. The default configuration is not affected because remote fetching and configured headers are required. This issue is fixed in 2.132.0.

Oct 3, 2026Burst Statistics – Simple WordPress Analytics (Google Analytics Alternative): Improper Authentication leading to Account PersistenceCVE-2026-97343 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Burst Statistics – Simple WordPress Analytics (Google Analytics Alternative) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Authentication leading to Account Persistence in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.1. This is due to the `maybe_load_shared_dashboard()` handler issuing a genuine WordPress session cookie for the `burst_statistics_viewer` account to any visitor presenting a valid share token via `wp_set_auth_cookie()`, while the plugin only blocks Application Passwords for the resulting `burst_viewer` role and does not restrict the core `/wp-json/wp/v2/users/me` password update endpoint or filter the `edit_user` capability for that account — leaving WordPress core's built-in rule that any authenticated user may update their own account fully in effect. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to set an attacker-chosen password on the `burst_statistics_viewer` WordPress account, constituting a permanent takeover of that limited-privilege (`view_burst_statistics`) account that persists through share-token revocation, share-token expiration, and execution of the plugin's daily `cleanup_viewer_sessions()` routine. Exploitation requires that the attacker have o

Oct 3, 2026Simple Membership: Unauthorized modification of data and sensitive information disclosureCVE-2026-97337 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data and sensitive information disclosure in versions up to, and including, 4.8.3 via the resend-activation and email-activation endpoints. The endpoints are dispatched from SwpmInitTimeTasks::check_and_do_email_activation() on frontend init with no authentication, nonce, capability, or ownership check, and the recipient address used by SwpmRegistration::send_reg_email() is taken from an attacker-controlled $_POST['email'] parameter (overriding the member's registered address). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to redirect an arbitrary pending member's activation email — and the follow-up 'registration complete' email containing the member's username and plaintext password — to an attacker-chosen address, and to then activate that member's account without their consent.

Oct 2, 2026Smash Balloon Social Post Feed – Simple Social Feeds for: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-93756 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Smash Balloon Social Post Feed – Simple Social Feeds for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Facebook Comment Message via v-html in Admin Builder Preview in all versions up to, and including, 4.13.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever an administrator accesses the feed builder preview page. This attack requires only a Facebook account to post a comment on the connected Facebook Page, with no WordPress credentials needed; additionally, the use of v-show rather than v-if means injected HTML — including onerror handlers — is evaluated in the DOM even when the comment section is not visually displayed. When combined with the lack of URL validation in the cff_install_addon AJAX handler (admin/addon-functions.php), an injected script running in an administrator's session can trigger arbitrary plugin installation from an attacker-controlled URL, which may result in server-side code execution.

Oct 1, 2026GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS.CVE-2026-71542 · Other software · GetSimpleCMS-CE · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In versions 3.3.22 and prior, GetSimpleCMS-CE is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the "Theme to Components" functionality (admin/components.php) via the title parameter. The stored title is rendered inside a double-quoted HTML attribute in the administrative interface through an output path that HTML-entity-decodes the value before printing it, without re-encoding for the attribute context. This allows persistent execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the admin panel. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

Oct 1, 2026GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS.CVE-2026-71426 · Other software · GetSimpleCMS-CE · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In versions 3.3.22 and prior, an authenticated user with page-editing rights can store an arbitrary filesystem path in a page's template attribute. On the public front-end, this value is passed unsanitized to a PHP include() when the page is rendered. Because the include path is never confined, this allows directory-traversal Local File Inclusion: arbitrary local files are included (and, if they contain PHP, executed) when any visitor requests the page. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

Oct 1, 2026GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS.CVE-2026-70650 · Other software · GetSimpleCMS-CE · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In versions 3.3.22 and prior, an authenticated stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the page backup viewer (admin/backup-edit.php). Page fields are correctly HTML-encoded when a page is saved, but the backup viewer decodes them again (htmldecode() / strip_decode()) and prints the result without re-escaping. A user who can edit a page can store JavaScript in a page's Keywords, Description, Menu text or Content; it executes in the browser of any administrator who later views that page's backup, in the context of the admin control panel. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
