  • Sep 18, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-57227 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 7.0.0 until 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, the MQTT parser in rust/src/mqtt/mqtt.rs permits repeated PUBREC or PUBREL messages to be appended to one transaction without a limit. Crafted MQTT traffic can grow transaction state indefinitely, consuming CPU and memory and causing slowdown or denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.

  • Sep 18, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-57225 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubLow 3.3

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, src/datasets-context-json.c assumes that a configured JSON or NDJSON dataset value_key resolves to a string. A trusted or untrusted dataset or rule feed containing a non-string value for that key can cause a NULL pointer dereference during startup, configuration test mode, or rule reload, crashing Suricata before traffic processing. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6.

  • Sep 18, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-57223 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubHigh 7

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, the Windows service installation and parameter-update logic in src/win32-service.c can pass an unquoted service ImagePath to CreateServiceA. When Suricata is installed below a path containing spaces and an earlier path component is writable by a local low-privileged attacker, Windows can execute an attacker-controlled program as LocalSystem, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.

  • Sep 18, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-57226 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, HTTP SWF decompression with the non-default swf-decompression feature and an unsafe decompress-depth can use the configured depth when allocating in src/util-file-decompression.c instead of limiting the allocation to the Flash file's actual data requirement. A crafted SWF response can therefore trigger an integer-related heap buffer overflow and crash Suricata; the default disabled feature and default depth are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.

  • Sep 18, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-57224 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the DHCP parser in rust/src/dhcp/dhcp.rs creates stateless transactions without recording their packet direction with AppLayerTxData::for_direction(), so a sensor that observes only one direction cannot mark the unseen direction inspected or free completed transactions. The RDP parser in rust/src/rdp/rdp.rs has the same direction-state defect. The per-flow transaction list can grow without bound and cleanup repeatedly scans it, causing increasing CPU and memory consumption and eventual denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6.

  • Sep 18, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-57222 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, crafted IPv4 and IPv6 address pairs can collide in the IPPair hash because src/ippair.c did not compare the IP address family before reusing IPPair-backed state. This can apply state from one IP family to another for xbits track ip_pair, FTP data expectations, and, on the 7.0 release line, thresholding, detection_filter, and rate_filter rules using track by_both, causing incorrect detection state. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.

  • Sep 17, 2026The Datadog PHP Tracer provides application performance monitoring and distributed tracing for PHP.CVE-2026-50275 · Other software · DataDog · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The Datadog PHP Tracer provides application performance monitoring and distributed tracing for PHP. Prior to 1.19.2, ddtrace_deserialize_baggage in ext/distributed_tracing_headers.c parses incoming W3C baggage HTTP headers without enforcing DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_ITEMS or DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_BYTES. A remote unauthenticated client can send an arbitrarily large number of comma-separated key-value pairs or a single oversized value, causing the tracer to allocate hash-map entries and consume unbounded CPU and memory on each request. Baggage extraction is enabled by default in most affected deployments unless baggage is removed from DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE or DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE_EXTRACT. This issue is fixed in version 1.19.2.

  • Sep 15, 2026OpenCost provides cost monitoring for Kubernetes workloads and cloud costs.CVE-2026-44300 · Other software · opencost · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

OpenCost provides cost monitoring for Kubernetes workloads and cloud costs. Prior to 1.121.0, the POST /serviceKey endpoint in pkg/costmodel/router.go allows a network client to invoke AddServiceKey without mandatory authentication and submit an arbitrary key form value that is written to the GCP service-account key.json file returned by GetGCPAuthSecretFilePath in core/pkg/env/core.go. The attacker controls the file contents but not the CONFIG_PATH-derived directory, the key.json filename, or the file mode. Replacing the credential contents can disrupt GCP cost collection or cause OpenCost to use attacker-selected credentials, and the wildcard Access-Control-Allow-Origin response permits browser-assisted requests when the service is reachable from a browser. Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, Suricata's IP defragmentation tracker lookup did not verify that an existing tracker used the same IP address family as the packet being processed. Prior to version 7.0.16, the Lua TLS certificate information helper could dereference NULL certificate fields when a Lua script requested certificate information for TLS traffic where some certificate fields were absent. Crafted TLS traffic processed by a deployment using affected Lua TLS scripting could crash Suricata, resulting in denial of service. Version 7.0.16 contains a fix. As a workaround, avoid Lua scripts that call TLS certificate information helpers on untrusted traffic (`TlsGetCertInfo` function), or update scripts to handle missing certificate fields where possible.

  • Sep 10, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-45763 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.5, when Lua rule execution is enabled, the Lua sandbox memory limit was not consistently enforced for new allocations. Certain Lua allocation patterns could exceed `security.lua.max-bytes` without triggering the intended memory limit, making the configured sandbox limit unreliable. This requires Lua rules to be enabled and an affected Lua script/rule to be loaded. Version 8.0.5 contains a fix. As a workaround, disable `security.lua.allow-rules` unless Lua rules are required.

A security issue in MongoDB Server's diagnostic reporting interface allows an authenticated user with monitoring privileges to access insufficiently protected credentials from concurrent administrative operations. The same credentials are properly redacted in server log output, but the diagnostic interface omits equivalent redaction. Successful exploitation requires a valid authenticated session with monitoring-level permissions and results in exposure of cleartext credentials that could enable impersonation of other users, including privileged accounts.

A security issue in MongoDB Server's query statistics serialization on the router allows users with monitoring privileges to access unredacted search query text from other users' operations. An improper conditional check in the serialization logic causes the data redaction mechanism to be bypassed when processing search queries through the sharded cluster router. This results in sensitive query literals being stored and made accessible through the query statistics interface.

pfSense Plus before 26.07 and CE before 2.9.0 allow authenticated users with the Status: Monitoring privilege to inject arbitrary JavaScript via graph configuration parameters in /status_monitoring.php. Multiple POST parameters including graph-left, graph-right, time-period, resolution, start-date, end-date, start-time, end-time, graph-type, invert, and refresh-interval are concatenated and written to the global pfSense XML configuration without sanitization, then echoed unsanitized into a JavaScript string context on page render. Incorrect Authorization (CWE-863) in Kibana Entity Analytics can lead to a loss of security monitoring via Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs (CAPEC-1). • Aug 28, 2026dd-trace-rs provides Datadog application performance monitoring for Rust.CVE-2026-54788 · Other software · DataDog · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

dd-trace-rs provides Datadog application performance monitoring for Rust. From 0.1.0 until 0.3.3, datadog-opentelemetry/src/propagation/tracecontext.rs parses the W3C tracestate header and collects every semicolon-separated key and value pair in the Datadog dd=... vendor entry into a HashMap without enforcing a pair count or entry size limit. Because tracecontext extraction is enabled by default, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send an arbitrarily large dd=... entry and force excessive CPU and memory consumption for each request, causing denial of service in an instrumented network service. • Aug 26, 2026LibreNMS is a network monitoring system.CVE-2026-55182 · Other software · librenms · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

LibreNMS is a network monitoring system. In versions from 21.6.0 up to 26.5.0, the Signal alert transport is vulnerable to command injection because the signal-cli path and the Recipient field of an alert transport entry are insufficiently escaped before being passed to an exec call. An authenticated administrator can craft a transport entry whose Recipient contains shell metacharacters and whose path points to the bundled composer_wrapper.php script, which itself passes attacker-controlled input to further unsafe exec calls. By chaining these calls, the administrator can execute arbitrary operating-system commands on the LibreNMS host. This issue is fixed in version 26.5.0.

LibreNMS is a network monitoring system. In versions up to and including 26.4.0, the Proxmox application view is vulnerable to reflected cross-site scripting through the user-supplied instance and vmid GET parameters, which are reflected into the page title without adequate encoding. The parameters are placed into the page title with only strip_tags applied, and the title is then written into an inline document.title assignment through string interpolation, so a single quote terminates the JavaScript string and the remaining input runs as script. An attacker who lures an authenticated user into following a crafted link can execute script in that user's session, enabling actions such as theft of session data. This issue is fixed in version 26.5.0.
