Sep 28, 2026The ADC API requires each driver to reject a sampling sequence whose destination buffer is too small: the buffer_size field of struct adc_sequence in include/zeCVE-2026-18413 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.8
The ADC API requires each driver to reject a sampling sequence whose destination buffer is too small: the buffer_size field of struct adc_sequence in include/zephyr/drivers/adc.h documents that "the driver must ensure that samples are not written beyond the limit and it must return an error if the buffer turns out to be not large enough". The NXP MCUX LPADC driver did not honour that contract. mcux_lpadc_start_read() in drivers/adc/adc_mcux_lpadc.c performed no buffer-size check at all before assigning data->buffer = sequence->buffer. Each completed conversion then stores one 16-bit sample per enabled channel per sampling round through an unbounded *data->buffer++: in mcux_lpadc_isr() for interrupt-driven builds, and in mcux_lpadc_dma_callback() for DMA-driven builds on releases that have the DMA path. A sequence selecting two channels with a two-byte buffer, for example, has its second sample written past the end of the buffer. On a build with CONFIG_USERSPACE, adc_read() and adc_read_async() are system calls. The handler in drivers/adc/adc_handlers.c copies the sequence in from user memory, verifies only that [buffer, buffer + buffer_size) is writable by the calling thread, and

Sep 27, 2026Under WOLFSSL_SMALL_CERT_VERIFY, ProcessPeerCertParse() runs the certificate signature check separately from the parse to keep peak memory down, then merges theCVE-2026-94418 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comLow 2.3
Under WOLFSSL_SMALL_CERT_VERIFY, ProcessPeerCertParse() runs the certificate signature check separately from the parse to keep peak memory down, then merges the two results, but it merged the signature result back only when the parse returned 0, so any parse error hid it. ParseCertRelative() reaches its validity-date, name-constraint and critical-extension checks only after ConfirmSignature() has passed, so splitting the signature check out inverts the precedence that makes "override date errors" a sound policy, and ASN_SIG_CONFIRM_E is never surfaced anywhere. The attacker needs no key material from the real PKI and no CA compromise: a self-made certificate carrying the expected subject name, the trusted CA's subject as its issuer, arbitrary bytes where the signature goes, a validity window in the past and the attacker's own key pair is sufficient. Affected builds define WOLFSSL_SMALL_CERT_VERIFY, which is off by default, is not set implicitly by any platform or preset header, and is not reachable from any CMake option; the autotools routes are --enable-lowresource, --enable-leantls, --enable-tinytls13=cert and --enable-tinytls13=mutualauth, and examples/configs/user_settings_embe

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: ahci: fail probe if BAR too small for claimed ports When an AHCI controller is disablCVE-2026-97441 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: ahci: fail probe if BAR too small for claimed ports When an AHCI controller is disabled in BIOS, its HOST_CAP register may contain a bogus value, e.g. 0xFFFFFFFF. Since CAP.NP (Number of Ports) is a zeroes based 5-bit register field, a value of 0x1f means 32 ports. If CAP.NP claims more ports than can physically fit within the mapped BAR region, accessing port registers beyond the BAR boundary causes a kernel panic. Add validation in ahci_init_one() to check that the BAR size is sufficient for the number of ports claimed in CAP.NP. The check calculates the required MMIO size as: required_size = 0x100 (global registers) + max_ports * 0x80 If required_size exceeds the actual BAR size, the probe fails with -ENODEV, preventing the panic and providing a clear error message. A flaw was found in the SmallRye Fault Tolerance library, which is used by Quarkus to provide strategies like retries and circuit breakers for microservices. The issue occurs when using the ApplyGuard or ApplyFaultTolerance annotations, where the library fails to release internal tracking objects after each request. This causes a steady increase in memory usage that eventually leads to the application slowing down and crashing due to lack of memory.

Sep 20, 2026A security flaw has been discovered in newbee-ltd newbee-mall up to 1.0.0.CVE-2026-94045 · Other software · newbee-ltd · reported by VulDBLow 2
A security flaw has been discovered in newbee-ltd newbee-mall up to 1.0.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file controller/common/UploadController.java of the component Goods Save Endpoint. Performing a manipulation of the argument goodsName results in cross site scripting. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. ImageIO.read() is a format-agnostic read - it returns non-null for a polyglot PNG|<img onerror> payload, which is exactly why the "image-only" guard is bypassable; the attacker-controlled suffix + /upload/** static mapping is what turns the upload into persisted XSS rather than a one-shot. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.

Sep 17, 2026ITFlow provides an IT documentation, ticketing and accounting system for small managed service providers.CVE-2026-54597 · Other software · itflow-org · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
ITFlow provides an IT documentation, ticketing and accounting system for small managed service providers. Prior to version 26.07, an authenticated user with module_support write permission and access to a credential record can perform time-based blind SQL injection through the expires parameter of the share_generate_link handler in agent/ajax.php. sanitizeInput applies string-context escaping, but expires is inserted unquoted into the item_expire_at MySQL INTERVAL expression, allowing a crafted expression and interval unit to execute conditional database queries whose results are inferred from response delays. This can expose password hashes, SMTP credentials, API keys, encrypted vault data, and database metadata and support administrative takeover after credential cracking. This issue is fixed in version 26.07.

Sep 17, 2026ITFlow provides an IT documentation, ticketing and accounting system for small managed service providers.CVE-2026-54596 · Other software · itflow-org · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
ITFlow provides an IT documentation, ticketing and accounting system for small managed service providers. Prior to version 26.07, an authenticated Technician or higher with access to at least one client invoice can inject SQL through the frequency parameter handled by agent/post/recurring_invoice.php. The handler passes recurring_invoice_frequency through sanitizeInput but interpolates it unquoted into DATE_ADD, allowing SQL syntax to escape the interval expression, assign additional INSERT columns, store subquery results in recurring_invoice_note, and expose those results through agent/recurring_invoice.php. The persisted recurring_invoice_frequency can execute again when Force Recurring uses it in a later UPDATE, allowing another legitimate user to trigger the second-order injection. This can expose password hashes, SMTP credentials, user records, and database metadata, modify database fields, and enable administrative takeover after credential cracking. This issue is fixed in version 26.07.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxl/features: Reject Set Features output buffer smaller than the header cxlctl_set_feature() sizes its output buffer from the user's fwctl_rpc.out_len but never checks it is large enough to hold even the fwctl_rpc_cxl_out header. With out_len == 0 , kvzalloc() returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR, which passes the !rpc_out check, the subsequent rpc_out->size = 0 then writes through the poison pointer. Reject requests whose output buffer can't hold the response header, before allocating. The Set Feature reply carries no payload, so the header is all that is required.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md: scope memalloc_noio to allocation critical sections Storing a memalloc_noio_save() tokCVE-2026-90389 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md: scope memalloc_noio to allocation critical sections Storing a memalloc_noio_save() token in mddev->noio_flags lets one task save the token and another task restore it. With concurrent suspend sysfs writes, task A can enter PF_MEMALLOC_NOIO, return to userspace still in that scope, and later task B can restore A's saved token. Avoid tying the token lifetime to mddev. Keep mddev_suspend() and mddev_resume() only responsible for array suspension, and enter PF_MEMALLOC_NOIO only in the MD paths that allocate memory after the array has been suspended. Restore the token before resuming the array. A reproducer repeatedly writes suspend_lo and suspend_hi from concurrent workers and checks each worker's /proc/self/stat flags before and after the sysfs write.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: qcom: qmp-usb: Fix possible NULL-deref on early runtime suspend There is a small window where the runtime suspend callback may run after pm_runtime_enable() and before pm_runtime_forbid(). In this case, a crash occurs because runtime suspend/resume dereferences qmp->phy pointer, which is not yet initialized: `if (!qmp->phy->init_count) {` This can also happen if user re-enables runtime-pm via the sysfs attribute before qmp phy is initialized. Similarly to other qcom phy drivers, introduce a qmp->phy_initialized variable that can be used to avoid relying on the possibly uninitialized phy pointer.

A flaw was found in SmallRye JWT's AwsAlbKeyResolver, which is used by applications to verify JSON Web Tokens signed by AWS Application Load Balancers. When the AWS_ALB key provider is configured, the resolver constructs the key-fetch URL by directly concatenating the attacker-controlled kid header value from an inbound JWT without sanitizing path traversal characters or query-string separators. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to force the application server to issue GET requests to arbitrary paths on the same origin as the configured key endpoint. As a result, non-public endpoints or internal data reachable on that origin may be read by the attacker before JWT signature verification takes place.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ceph: properly decrypt filenames in vmalloc() buffers The fscrypt subsystem uses the scatterlist crypto API, inheriting its requirement that any buffers are in the linear mapping region. However, the messenger client uses kvmalloc() to create buffers for messages, which will occasionally place those buffers in the vmalloc() region when physical memory fragmentation doesn't permit a large enough kmalloc(). The various callers of ceph_fname_to_usr() directly pass (slices of) raw messages from the MDS without considering that the messages may be in vmalloc() buffers, resulting in oopses especially on non-x86 platforms (see 'Closes:' for more details and a reproducer). Make ceph_fname_to_usr() explicitly tolerant of vmalloc()-allocated fname->ctext, fname->name, and/or oname->name buffers, using `tname` (which, when non-null, must be a linear address; when null, is briefly allocated as necessary) as a bounce buffer to avoid passing any inappropriate addresses to fscrypt_fname_disk_to_usr(). Additionally change parse_reply_info_readdir() -- the only function to supply its own `tname` -- to follow the new "tname must

Sep 14, 2026PocketSphinx is a small speech recognizer.CVE-2026-54559 · Other software · cmusphinx · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
PocketSphinx is a small speech recognizer. Prior to 5.1.1, the trie language-model loaders in src/lm/ngram_model_trie.c do not adequately validate boundary conditions in ARPA, DMP, and binary format headers, and the acoustic-model loaders in src/mdef.c and src/util/bio.c use sscanf with unbounded string fields. Loading an invalid, corrupted, or malicious language or acoustic model can therefore cause stack or heap buffer overflows and memory corruption. An attacker who can write to a directory selected by POCKETSPHINX_PATH can replace or add a model file that PocketSphinx later loads; users of PocketSphinx 5prealpha have no backported patch and must migrate to the fixed release. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.1.

A security flaw has been discovered in kagisearch smallweb up to 0ecb9c48edbf98dc7e934b54fbac43869e64b4cf. The affected element is the function index of the file app/sw.py of the component Query String Rendering. Performing a manipulation of the argument qs results in cross site scripting. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery. Therefore, version details for affected or updated releases cannot be specified. The patch is named 00b68144e583f20a6b67e29cf01bc07f57979ffb. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. Exploitability requires a raw HTTP request carrying unencoded double-quote characters in the query string - Werkzeug's request.query_string returns the raw request-target, and ordinary browsers percent-encode " as %22, so the payload only lands via netcat/curl-style raw sockets.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: reject a tree connect response whose byte count is too small CIFSTCon() bounds its strnlen() over the byte area with the server's ByteCount minus two, which for ByteCount 0 or 1 goes negative as an int and converts to a huge size_t. The later subtraction wraps the __u16 bytes_left, and that is what bounds cifs_strndup_from_utf16(): a bound of up to 65535 against a ~16 KB cifs_req_poolp object runs off the end of the slab object, and the bytes reach userspace through tcon->nativeFileSystem in /proc/fs/cifs/DebugData. Reject a byte area too small for what the parser consumes. Two bytes is the least it can consume, and no conformant response carries fewer. The new trace point is the 129th smb_eio_trace entry, which __mode(byte) cannot represent, so the attribute goes with it.

smol-toml is a small, fast, and correct TOML parser and serializer. Prior to 1.7.1, parse() can enter an infinite loop when a value inside an array or inline table is followed by a comment with no trailing newline. In src/util.ts, skipUntil() calls indexOfNewline(), receives -1 at the end of input, and resets the cursor to the beginning of the string instead of leaving the structure scan. The parser then hangs indefinitely and can consume a service's processing capacity when an application parses attacker-controlled TOML. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/packet: defer vmalloc TX_RING free until skbs finish AF_PACKET TX_RING skbs keep a raw pointer to their ring frame. The skb page references preserve page-backed ring blocks after pg_vec is freed, but they do not preserve a vmalloc mapping. tpacket_destruct_skb() currently drops the pending reference before writing the timestamp and TP_STATUS_AVAILABLE to the frame. Move the decrement after those stores. The smp_wmb() in __packet_set_status() orders the frame stores before the decrement. Also recheck pending TX frames under pg_vec_lock before non-closing ring replacement, so a racing send cannot add a pending skb between the initial check and the ring swap. Ring allocation can produce a mixture of page-backed and vmalloc-backed blocks. Allocate deferred-work storage during TX ring setup when the first vmalloc-backed block is encountered, and keep its pointer in the pg_vec allocation header. If allocation fails, return -ENOMEM from ring setup. On socket close, a non-NULL pointer identifies a vmalloc-backed vector without a scan. If TX skbs remain, defer the whole vector to system_long_wq. After pg_vec is de

This can lead to the allocation of extremely large BigInteger objects, causing CPU exhaustion or an OutOfMemoryError, resulting in a denial of service.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dst_metadata: fix false-positive memcpy overflow in tun_dst_unclone kmalloc_flex() in metadata_dst_alloc() sets __counted_by for the structure to the options_len, which is then initialized to zero. Later, we're initializing the structure by copying the tunnel info together with the options, and this triggers a warning for a potential memcpy overflow, since the compiler estimates that the options can't fit into the structure, even though the memory for them is actually allocated. memcpy: detected buffer overflow: 104 byte write of buffer size 96 WARNING: CPU: X PID: Y at lib/string_helpers.c:1036 __fortify_report skb_tunnel_info_unclone+0x179/0x190 geneve_xmit+0x7fe/0xe00 The issue is triggered when built with clang and source fortification. Fix that by doing the copy in two stages: first - the main data with the options_len, then the options. This way the correct length should be known at the time of the copy. Aug 26, 2026OneUptime's webhook target check rejects private and loopback addresses given in IPv4 form and a small set of IPv6 forms, but has no case for the IPv4-mapped IPCVE-2026-80350 · Other software · OneUptime · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
OneUptime's webhook target check rejects private and loopback addresses given in IPv4 form and a small set of IPv6 forms, but has no case for the IPv4-mapped IPv6 range. The webhook delivery path calls SSRFProtection.validateWebhookTargetIsSafe, and the host-literal screening inside Common/Server/Utils/SSRFProtection.ts, performed by isBlockedHostnameLiteral, rejects private and loopback IPv4 ranges and tests an IPv6 value against the unspecified address, the loopback, the link-local prefix and the unique-local prefixes. A value such as [::ffff:127.0.0.1] matches none of them. The value is also recognised as an address literal rather than a name, so the path that re-checks addresses obtained from resolution is not taken. The HTTP client treats the mapped form as the embedded IPv4 address and connects to it, so an authenticated project member who can configure a webhook can direct the server at loopback services, private network ranges and link-local metadata endpoints, and the response is recorded where the webhook result can be read. Version 12.0.7 adds handling for the mapped range.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/vmalloc: acquire init_mm lock on huge vmap to avoid ptdump UAF Patch series "mm: fix UAF caused by race between ptdump and vmap pgtable freeing", v6. Kernel page table walkers fall into two broad categories - those ranges where no exclusion is required via walk_kernel_page_table_range_lockless() and those where exclusion is required via walk_kernel_page_table_range() or walk_page_range_debug(). The former category is used only by arm64 arch code operating on ranges it both wholly owns and does not concurrently write. The latter category consists of kernel page table walkers operating on ranges that are wholly owned (but which need exclusion against concurrent writers). The lock used for exclusion is the mmap lock, and for kernel ranges this is the mmap lock on init_mm. ptdump is a special case being both the only user of walk_page_range_debug(), and the only case in which it walks ranges it does not own. This presents a problem, as page tables may be freed under ptdump. And indeed there is a use-after-free bug in the kernel as a result, which this series addresses. vmap promotes page tables to huge lea

Aug 19, 2026Algernon is a small self-contained pure-Go web server.CVE-2026-52792 · Other software · xyproto · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Algernon is a small self-contained pure-Go web server. Prior to 1.17.9, Algernon on Windows selects a file handler in engine/handlers.go by calling filepath.Ext() without first rejecting NTFS-equivalent names such as x.lua::$DATA, x.lua., and x.lua . An unauthenticated client can append one of these suffixes to a public server-side script using the .lua, .tl, .po2, .amber, or .frm extension. The request path passes through URL2filename in utils/files.go, skips the renderer and execution cases, and reaches FilePage, os.Open, ReadAndLogErrors, and ToClient, while NTFS resolves the alias to the underlying script. The server consequently returns raw script source and can expose database credentials, API keys, and the SetCookieSecret value, which may permit forged session cookies. Linux and macOS hosts are not affected by this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.17.9.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/slab: prevent unbounded recursion in free path with new kmalloc type Commit 280ea9c3154CVE-2026-74576 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/slab: prevent unbounded recursion in free path with new kmalloc type Commit 280ea9c3154b ("mm/slab: avoid allocating slabobj_ext array from its own slab") avoided recursive allocation of obj_exts from kmalloc caches of the same size, by bumping the obj_exts array's allocation size whenever the array size equals the size of the object being allocated. However, as reported by Danielle Costantino and Shakeel Butt, even slabs from kmalloc caches of different sizes can form a cycle by allocating obj_exts arrays from each other [1]: What happened: a KMALLOC_NORMAL slab's obj_exts array (used by allocation profiling / memcg accounting) is itself kmalloc()'d from a KMALLOC_NORMAL cache, so the "slab holds another slab's obj_exts array" relation can form cycles. With sizeof(struct slabobj_ext) == 16 and the host's geometry: - kmalloc-512 has 64 objects/slab -> array is 64*16 == 1024 bytes, served from kmalloc-1k; - kmalloc-1k has 32 objects/slab -> array is 32*16 == 512 bytes, served from kmalloc-512. A kmalloc-512 slab and a kmalloc-1k slab therefore hold each other's obj_exts array. D

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: configfs_lookup(): don't leave ->s_dentry dangling on failure Normally ->s_dentry is clearCVE-2026-74359 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: configfs_lookup(): don't leave ->s_dentry dangling on failure Normally ->s_dentry is cleared when dentry it's pointing to becomes negative (on eviction, realistically). However, that only happens if dentry gets to be positive in the first place; in case of inode allocation failure dentry never becomes positive, so ->d_iput() is not called at all. We do part of what normally would've been done by configfs_d_iput() (dropping the reference to configfs_dirent) manually, but we do not clear ->s_dentry there. Sloppy as it is, it does not matter in case of configfs_create_{dir,link}() - there configfs_dirent does not survive dropping the sole reference to it. However, for configfs_lookup() it *does* survive, with a dangling pointer to soon to be freed dentry sitting it its ->s_dentry. Subsequent getdents(2) in that directory will end up dereferencing that pointer in order to pick the inode number. Use after free... This is the minimal fix; the right approach is to set the linkage between dentry and configfs_dirent only after we know that we have an inode, but that takes more surgery and the bug had been there sin

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/ivpu: Reject firmware log with size smaller than header fw_log_from_bo() validates tCVE-2026-72089 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/ivpu: Reject firmware log with size smaller than header fw_log_from_bo() validates the tracing buffer header_size and that the log fits within the BO, but never checks that log->size is at least log->header_size. fw_log_print_buffer() then computes: u32 data_size = log->size - log->header_size; which underflows to a near-U32_MAX value when firmware reports a log whose size is smaller than its header. That huge data_size defeats the log_start/log_end bounds clamps added by commit dd1311bcf0e6 ("accel/ivpu: Add bounds checks for firmware log indices"), so fw_log_print_lines() reads far past the small real data region of the BO. A size of 0 also makes fw_log_from_bo() advance the offset by 0, causing the callers to loop forever on the same header. Reject logs whose size is smaller than the header (which also rejects size == 0).

Aug 13, 2026A flaw in Elasticsearch allows a low-privileged authenticated user to submit a single small request containing a forged opaque identifier.CVE-2026-72687 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 6.5
A flaw in Elasticsearch allows a low-privileged authenticated user to submit a single small request containing a forged opaque identifier. Elasticsearch decodes and deserializes the identifier before confirming that it was legitimately issued by the cluster, and a size value carried inside the identifier drives an allocation that is neither capped nor accounted for by the available memory-usage controls. The resulting out-of-memory condition is fatal and terminates the affected node process, resulting in a denial of service.

Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: fix cifsFileInfo leak on kmalloc failure in deferred close drain paths In cifs_closeCVE-2026-68312 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: fix cifsFileInfo leak on kmalloc failure in deferred close drain paths In cifs_close_deferred_file(), cifs_close_all_deferred_files(), and cifs_close_deferred_file_under_dentry(), when a pending deferred close is cancelled via cancel_delayed_work(), the subsequent kmalloc_obj() to add the file to the local processing list may fail under memory pressure. The loop breaks immediately, but the cancelled work is no longer pending (it would have called _cifsFileInfo_put()), and the cfile is never added to file_head for processing. The cifsFileInfo reference and the open server handle both leak. Fix by saving the cfile that failed allocation in a local variable, breaking as before, and calling _cifsFileInfo_put() on it after releasing the lock. Any files later in the iteration are unaffected since their deferred work is still pending and will fire normally.
