  • Oct 25, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_postgres allows a user to load destination records linked to a source record only through another tenanCVE-2026-115627 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6

Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_postgres allows a user to load destination records linked to a source record only through another tenant's join rows. When a many_to_many relationship, or a through relationship, is loaded with a lateral join (for example with a per-record limit or sort), AshPostgres.DataLayer builds the query for the join resource, and for each resource along a through path, in lateral_join_query/3 and through_step_queries/4 without running that resource's read action, which is where attribute multitenancy is applied. When those resources use strategy :attribute multitenancy, rows belonging to other tenants were joined, so the load returned destination records that the caller's tenant is not related to. This issue affects ash_postgres: from 0.38.0 before 2.15.2.

Rclone before 1.75.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the local backend's translateLink function, which trims the .rclonelink suffix from a path after the containment check, so a name can resolve outside the destination root. Attackers can plant a directory named ...rclonelink in a source tree synced with --links and --metadata to change ownership, timestamps, and xattrs of the destination's parent directory.

A cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the OAuth extension of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) Network Edition allows an attacker to link an attacker-controlled external account to a victim's mailbox. The OAuth callback does not bind its state value or authorization code to the initiating Zimbra session and instead selects the destination mailbox from the browser's current authentication cookie. On a deployment with the provider configured, an attacker can induce a signed-in victim to load a callback containing a fresh code for the attacker's provider account. This creates a persistent data source that imports attacker-controlled contacts or events. With bidirectional CalDAV synchronization, appointments subsequently created or edited in the linked calendar are also disclosed to the attacker. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: stop PMTU walk when nexthop group shrinks Commit 7d3f3b4367f3 ("net: ipv4: Cache pmtu for all packet paths if multipath enabled") made __ip_rt_update_pmtu() update every path. For nexthop objects, fib_info_num_path() and fib_info_nhc() independently load nh->nh_grp. RCU protects each group's lifetime but does not make the loads observe the same group. If replacement shrinks the group after the loop accepts an index, fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and update_or_create_fnhe() dereferences it. A deterministic probe only widened the existing window between the real operations. On v7.2, an RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replacement published a one-member group after the PMTU reader accepted index 1 from a two-member group, producing: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000000-0x0000000000000007] RIP: update_or_create_fnhe+0x45/0x15b0 Stop when the indexed path is absent. Groups are dense, so no later index exists in that snapshot. The same real-writer window completed 114,423 PMTU iterations without an oops with this check. A reproducer is available on request. If RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replaces a group with fewer paths between those loads, fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and the dump dereferences it through nhc_flags. Stop the walk when the indexed path is absent. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: hold a reference to nodes found by link name tipc_node_find_by_name() returns a node after dropping its RCU read lock without taking a reference. The LINK_SET, LINK_GET and LINK_RESET_STATS handlers then lock and access the node, racing with timer-driven cleanup of a down peer. Generic netlink serialization does not exclude the node timer. The following interleaving can leave a handler using a freed node: CPU 0: find the node under RCU and release the node read lock CPU 1: tipc_node_timeout() clears the links and unlinks the down node CPU 1: drop the list and timer references, queuing tipc_node_free() CPU 0: leave the RCU read-side critical section CPU 1: complete the grace period and free the node CPU 0: acquire the node lock through the stale pointer LINK_SET also uses the node's media address after releasing the node lock, when passing queued packets to tipc_bearer_xmit(). • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: openvswitch: fix soft lockup in the netlink flow dump A production compute node carrying aCVE-2026-99025 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: openvswitch: fix soft lockup in the netlink flow dump A production compute node carrying a few thousand datapath flows hit a soft lockup inside a single netlink flow dump and panicked. ovs_flow_cmd_dump() calls ovs_flow_stats_get() for every flow it emits, and that releases stats->lock with spin_unlock_bh() once per CPU that has touched the flow. Every release is a local_bh_enable(), and each one runs the pending softirq backlog in the dumping thread's own context. The skb bounds the flows one callback emits, but not the softirq work it absorbs. On a CPU that carries the box's packet load the backlog refills as fast as it drains, so the dumping thread becomes that CPU's softirq engine. It never sleeps and it has no reschedule point, so under voluntary preemption nothing can take the CPU away from it: neither the ksoftirqd the kernel woke to take the work over, nor the stopper thread the softlockup detector dispatches to refresh its timestamp. Hold BH off across the whole callback instead, the way ctnetlink_dump_table() does, so the nested spin_unlock_bh() stop draining softirqs. The loop already runs under rcu

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Fix shrinker accounting double-subtraction on nested external pins xe_bo_pin_external() and xe_bo_unpin_external() support nested pins, since the underlying ttm_bo_pin()/ttm_bo_unpin() maintain a pin_count refcount rather than a boolean. However, the shrinker accounting calls xe_ttm_tt_account_subtract() and xe_ttm_tt_account_add() are invoked unconditionally on every pin_external()/unpin_external() call, instead of only on the transition into and out of the pinned state. An external BO (dma-buf) can be pinned more than once while already pinned, for example when it has multiple attachments/importers, each independently calling xe_bo_pin_external(). Each such nested pin subtracts the BO's pages from the shrinker's accounting again, even though the BO's pages were already removed from consideration by the first pin. Symmetrically, each nested unpin adds them back again before the BO is actually unpinned. This desynchronizes the shrinker's page and object counts from reality, and since they are declared as signed long but interpreted as unsigned long in xe_shrinker_count(), the underflow can turn into an e

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Fix stale pinned_link entry when fb-pin performs the final unpin xe_bo_pin_external() and xe_bo_unpin_external() maintain the bo's pinned_link list membership in xe->pinned.late.external, based on whether the current call is the outermost pin or the final unpin. However, the same external bo's pin_count can also be raised and lowered directly by __xe_pin_fb_vma()/__xe_unpin_fb_vma(), which pin the bo as a display scanout buffer without going through xe_bo_pin_external()/xe_bo_unpin_external() at all, and have no notion of, or ownership over, pinned_link. If a bo is pinned both externally (e.g. dma-buf export) and as an fb, and the external unpin happens first, xe_bo_unpin_external() correctly observes pin_count > 1 and leaves the bo on pinned_link. When the fb unpin later performs the true last unpin (pin_count 1 -> 0), it never touches pinned_link, leaving the bo linked on xe->pinned.late.external indefinitely. Once the bo is subsequently freed, this stale list entry points into freed memory, corrupting the list and risking a use-after-free the next time the list is walked or spliced. The backup object

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: check a submount for references right before unmounting it shrink_submounts() aCVE-2026-98990 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: check a submount for references right before unmounting it shrink_submounts() and mark_mounts_for_expiry() first collect all the mounts they are allowed to unmount and then unmount them. Whether a mount is busy is decided by propagate_mount_busy() on the tree. But unmounting the first mount changes the tree that the second one propagates into. propagate_umount() moves a surviving overmount off a copy it unmounts and mounts it where the copy was mounted. If that's where the propagated copy of the second victim is looked up the overmount becomes a candidate of the second umount_tree(). It's childless and so trim_one() commits it without looking at its reference count. So a synchronous umount pulls out a busy mount that is in use somewhere else and marks it MNT_SYNC_UMOUNT while it has users: umount2(/tmp/plshrink/p1, 0) = 0 errno 0 cwd is (unreachable) The same two umounts requested one after the other fail with EBUSY. This needs a mount with MNT_SHRINKABLE, i.e., automounted submounts of NFS, AFS and CIFS or the tracefs mount below debugfs. Bind mounts inherit the flag. Check each mount right b

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dcache: don't put a mountpoint on a dentry that's being removed rmdir(), unlink() and rename() call dont_mount() on the victim and then detach_mounts() with the victim's inode locked. do_lock_mount() takes the inode lock of the mountpoint and checks cant_mount() so a mount can't show up after detach_mounts(). But attach_recursive_mnt() makes a second mountpoint for the root of the source mount so that the mounts already located at the destination can be put on top of it. No inode is locked for that one and d_set_mounted() only refuses a dentry that is unlinked. Between detach_mounts() and d_delete() the victim is still hashed: rmrace: b passed dont_mount() and detach_mounts(), sleeping T2: move_mount(S, /tmp/plcant/x, BENEATH) = 0 errno 0 () T1: rmdir(/tmp/plcant/d/b) = 0 errno 0 109 107 0:61 /d/b//deleted /tmp/plcant/x rw,relatime - tmpfs tmpfs rw 108 109 0:63 / /tmp/plcant/x rw,relatime - tmpfs T rw A bind mount of the directory that's being removed is moved beneath an existing mount while the rmdir() is located between the two calls. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: unhash a dentry before detaching the mounts on it unlink(), rmdir() and rename() remove the entry from the filesystem, call detach_mounts() on the entry with the inode locked and then call d_delete() once the inode is unlocked. The thing is that between detach_mounts() and d_delete() the dentry is still hashed and positive. But after detach_mounts() nothing covers the dentry anymore. A lookup that finds this dentry in the dcache can uncover what the mounts hid. That's a problem when unlinking files or directories that are mountpoints in other mount namespaces. Everybody who had the underlying entry covered can race the detach_mount() call until d_delete() has run. The race window isn't all that small. It encompasses namespace_unlock() with a full synchronize_rcu_expedited() grace period and the inode_unlock() of the entry. In my experiments three walkers that kept trying read an overmounted file in 11938 of the 16140 unlinks that removed its mountpoint from a bind mount of the filesystem within a minute. Fun fact, d_invalidate() has the same ordering problem but gets it right. It unhashes the dent

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: stop exchanging reflink flags when exchanging mappings When an exchange covers both fCVE-2026-98975 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: stop exchanging reflink flags when exchanging mappings When an exchange covers both files from offset 0 to i_disk_size, xmi_can_exchange_reflink_flags() assumes every mapping moved and hands the reflink flag over to the other file. That assumption is wrong. A file can still own shared blocks past i_disk_size, e.g. after EXCHANGE_RANGE_TO_EOF sets a smaller size without unmapping anything. The flag is cleared anyway, and the next write to such a block happens in place instead of CoW, corrupting the other file that shares it. Commit a23eca88448e ("xfs: fix exchange-range reflink flag clearing issue with INO1_WRITTEN") fixed one instance of this. Rather than add another special case, stop moving the flags. xfs_exchmaps_ensure_reflink() already sets the flag on both inodes before the exchange, so both just keep it. Nothing sets CLEAR_INO{1,2}_REFLINK anymore. Intents logged by older kernels may still carry them; recovery already masks them off, so they stay in the log format mask and are ignored. XFS_IOC_SWAPEXT has the same problem: it moves the reflink flag from one inode to the other along with the ex

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: account non-AQL frames per peer rather than per link The driver increments wcid->non_aql_packets when a frame goes to the hardware queue. The completion path decrements the counter again. For an MLO peer, the hardware reports the completion on the link that it used for the transmission. This link can differ from the link that the driver queued the frame on. In that case, the increment and the decrement go to different link wcids, and the count drifts upwards until it blocks the station. Keep the count on the wcid of the primary link, like the other peer-wide state.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: devlink: fix devlink_rel reference leak when notify work is pending devlink_rel_nested_in_notify_work_schedule() takes a reference on the devlink_rel for the notify work and then queues the work, ignoring the return value of schedule_delayed_work(). If the work is already pending, nothing new is queued, the work runs only once and drops only one reference, so the extra one is leaked together with the devlink_rel and its index in devlink_rels. This is easy to hit. devl_register() of a nested instance queues the work, and if the instance is unregistered before the work has run, devlink_rel_put() queues it again while it is still pending. The work also keeps rescheduling itself for as long as the parent devlink lock cannot be taken, which widens the window. Registering and unregistering a nested devlink instance 100 times while holding the parent lock leaks all 100 devlink_rel objects. The reschedule path in devlink_rel_nested_in_notify_work() has the same problem: if the work was queued again while it was running, the reference it holds is never dropped. Drop the reference in both places when the work was alread

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cpsw_new: unregister devlink on port registration failure cpsw_probe() registers devlink before registering the CPSW ports. If cpsw_register_ports() fails, the error path only unregisters the notifiers and then releases the lower level resources. It does not undo the successful cpsw_register_devlink() call, leaving the devlink instance and its parameters registered after probe has failed. Add a devlink cleanup label for the path where devlink registration has already succeeded, and use it when port registration fails.

When package management is enabled, Pulsar Functions, Sources and Sinks can be registered or updated from a package stored in the Pulsar Packages Management Service by supplying a package URL. The Pulsar Functions worker authorized these requests only against the namespace in which the component was being registered or updated. It did not check whether the requesting user was permitted to access packages in the namespace that the package URL refers to, and it retrieved the package from the broker using the worker's own credentials. The permission check of the Packages Management Service was therefore applied to the worker's identity instead of the requesting user's. Package URLs of transform functions supplied when registering or updating a sink were handled in the same way. An authenticated user who is permitted to register or update functions, sources or sinks in any namespace of their own tenant could use this to obtain the contents of a package stored in a namespace of another tenant, without having the packages permission on that namespace. The impact is limited to disclosure of package contents, which may include application code, business logic or embedded credentials. The
