Sep 18, 2026Booking Calendar: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-92561 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'options' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 11.8.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The nonce check is bypassed by default because the 'booking_is_nonce_at_front_end' option ships disabled, allowing unauthenticated requests to reach the vulnerable sink without any verification.

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.6.9 via the set_customer_object due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate arbitrary customer records and disclose personally identifiable information - including first name, last name, email address, and phone number - by iterating the customer[id] parameter. Sep 15, 2026Eventin – Event Calendar, Tickets, Registration, Booking & WooCommerce: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-75983 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Eventin – Event Calendar, Tickets, Registration, Booking & WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.23. This is due to the `PermissionManager::manage_permissions()` function being registered as a callback on WordPress core's `map_meta_cap` filter and unconditionally returning the always-true `'exist'` primitive for every capability check whenever the evaluated user ID is 1, without scoping this behavior to plugin-specific capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers whose account is user ID 1, even subscribers, to pass every WordPress capability check, including `manage_options`, `edit_plugins`, `edit_themes`, `promote_users`, and `update_core`, thereby elevating their privileges to administrator-equivalent power and achieving full site takeover, including remote code execution via the plugin and theme editors. Exploitation is only impactful when user ID 1 has been deliberately demoted to a lower-privilege role as a common administrator-account hardening practice; on default installations where user ID 1 retains the administrator role, no incremental privilege gain occurs.

Sep 12, 2026Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-10148 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via multiple Elementor widgets in versions up to and including 2.4.9. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'load_manually' parameter in the render() methods of classes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above who can use Elementor, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Sep 12, 2026The Events Calendar: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-78159 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 6.17.3 via the parse_array function. This is due to insufficient validation of the widget 'classes' map, allowing a plain-array payload to bypass the is_safe_widget_instance() object check and reach the callable-invocation sink in Element_Classes::parse_array(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. Exploitation requires that the targeted site has comments enabled on tribe_events posts and that at least one comment containing a crafted wp:legacy-widget block has been submitted, as the attack chain is triggered when do_blocks() processes the single-event HTML including the comment area.

Sep 12, 2026The Events Calendar: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-78006 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 6.17.4 via the is_safe_widget_instance function. This is due to insufficient protection in is_safe_widget_instance, which can be bypassed because PHP fires magic methods during its pre-parse, combined with enable_rendering_widget_copied() forging a valid wp_hash integrity attribute before unserialize() is reached. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. This is exploitable without authentication or approval because the plugin's V2 single-event template runs do_blocks() over buffered comment HTML, and WordPress returns a moderation-hash URL that allows an unauthenticated commenter to immediately view their own pending comment, delivering the injected block markup to the vulnerable code path before any moderation occurs. This does require comments to be enabled and visible on events.

Sep 11, 2026Booktics – Booking Calendar for Appointments and Service Businesses: Unauthorized modification of dataCVE-2026-11446 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Booktics – Booking Calendar for Appointments and Service Businesses plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.23. This is due to the create_order_permission() permission callback on the POST /wp-json/booktics/v1/orders REST route unconditionally returning true, combined with find_and_update_guest() overwriting an existing customer record's stored name, phone, and wp_user_id whenever the caller-supplied email matches, with no proof of ownership. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the contact details (name and phone) of any existing customer whose email address they know, poisoning downstream reminder emails, SMS, calendar invites, and CRM data.

Sep 9, 2026My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-77186 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'fallback' Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The bypass relies on hex-encoded shortcode attribute payloads (e.g. \x3cscript\x3e), which wp_kses_post cannot strip on save because they appear as literal backslash sequences rather than real HTML tags; WordPress core's shortcode_parse_atts() then calls stripcslashes() at render time, decoding the escapes into real angle brackets before they reach the unescaped sink.

Aug 28, 2026Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-6286 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via customer name fields in versions up to and including 2.2. This is due to an authentication bypass where the AddBookingCommand explicitly skips nonce verification (Command.php line 186), allowing unauthenticated users to submit booking data. While the plugin applies sanitize_text_field() to customer firstName and lastName fields (BookingApplicationService.php lines 302-308), this function only removes HTML tags and preserves special characters including double quotes. The vulnerability manifests in the administrative Calendar view where a FullCalendar eventContent callback interpolates customer names directly into JavaScript template literals (redesign/dist/index.js line 199) and renders them via innerHTML without proper HTML entity encoding. Because double quotes are preserved, an attacker can inject payloads like '" onmouseover="alert(document.cookie)"' to break out of the title attribute and inject malicious event handlers. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute when an administrator accesse

The shortcode entry point sanitizes 'header_format' via wp_kses(), but the unauthenticated 'search_events_grouped' AJAX action bypasses this sanitization entirely, leaving the parameter unsanitized before it is echoed into the HTML body in output_grouped().

Aug 25, 2026Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-14280 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.6
The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 7.3.7.4 via the em_options_save function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. The stored traversal key is subsequently executed via an include_once() call that fires on every admin_init invocation — including unauthenticated admin-ajax.php requests — meaning once the malicious key is stored by an administrator, the inclusion is triggered without any further authentication or capability check.

Aug 24, 2026Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-10627 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 7.4.0. Aug 24, 2026Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-15023 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via Stored 'meta_key' via Event/Location Duplicate Action in all versions up to, and including, 7.4.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a second-order SQL injection: an attacker first plants SQL metacharacters in a custom meta key via the standard add-meta flow (WordPress stores these verbatim in wp_postmeta), then triggers the injection by invoking the event_duplicate or location_duplicate action, which reads the stored meta keys via get_post_meta() and concatenates them unsafely into the INSERT query.

Aug 16, 2026Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-13358 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.12.10 via the ssa_past_appointments due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to access appointment records belonging to arbitrary users and harvest the per-appointment ownership tokens (32-character hashes) embedded in the rendered HTML, which can then be used without any authentication to read or modify those appointments including full customer PII such as name, email, phone number, and private notes. The /wp-json/ssa/v1/render-shortcode REST endpoint is registered unconditionally on rest_api_init regardless of whether the Divi theme is installed, and its permission callback only requires current_user_can('edit_posts'), meaning any Contributor-level account is sufficient to trigger this entire exploit chain.

Aug 14, 2026Booking calendar, Appointment Booking System: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-8840 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Booking calendar, Appointment Booking System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.36. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to mark arbitrary reservations as paid or completed, cancel legitimate payments, auto-approve reservations, and trigger transactional booking emails by writing attacker-supplied payment status and transaction data directly into the payments table. The auto-approval of reservations is only triggered when the 'enable_psuccess_approval' site option is enabled, but payment status manipulation and email dispatch are exploitable regardless of that setting.
