  • Sep 26, 2026Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively.CVE-2026-100669 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively. In webserver-configs/web.config (IIS), every deny rule (user_sensitive_folders, user_accounts, user_data, user_error_redirect, user_pages, system, vendor, ignore_folders) sets ignoreCase="false" on its URL Rewrite <match> element, overriding the IIS default of ignoreCase="true"; because these are rewrite matches rather than <requestFiltering> elements, there is no case-insensitive fallback. On IIS running over case-insensitive NTFS, an unauthenticated remote attacker can vary the case of a folder name or file extension (for example GET /user/CONFIG/system.YAML) so that no deny rule matches and the IIS static file handler resolves and returns the underlying file, disclosing sensitive data such as configuration secrets or account password hashes. Whether a bypassed file is actually returned depends on MIME registration: .json is served by default, while .yaml/.yml return HTTP 404.3 on a stock IIS unless a YAML MIME mapping has been added. The same class of gap exists in the bundled webserver-configs/lighttpd.conf, whose user/(config|env), directory, script-extension

  • Sep 21, 2026nginx ignition is a user interface for the nginx web server.CVE-2026-61629 · Other software · lucasdillmann · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

nginx ignition is a user interface for the nginx web server. In versions 2.29.0 through 2.40.0, the gin i18n middleware in nginx-ignition's API server runs in front of every HTTP request and calls `golang.org/x/text/language.ParseAcceptLanguage` on the raw `Accept-Language` header without imposing any size or shape filter. The underlying parser has quadratic-time behaviour on long lists of malformed language tags. The CVE-2022-32149 guard that golang.org/x/text added in v0.3.8 caps the number of `-` characters in the input at 1000, but it does not cap `_` characters even though the parser's internal scanner aliases `_` to `-` before parsing. A single unauthenticated GET request with an `Accept-Language` header built out of `_` separators burns about 2.4 seconds of server CPU on the host running nginx-ignition; ten concurrent attackers saturate a ten-core box for the duration of the attack while consuming ~10 MiB/s of upstream bandwidth. Version 2.40.1 fixes this issue.

  • Sep 21, 2026nginx ignition is a user interface for the nginx web server.CVE-2026-61628 · Other software · lucasdillmann · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

nginx ignition is a user interface for the nginx web server. Prior to version 2.41.1, `POST /api/users/onboarding/finish` is registered as anonymous (unauthenticated) and creates a user with full ReadWrite admin permissions. Because the handler uses a check-then-act (TOCTOU) pattern between the "onboarding already completed?" check and the user-creation write, with no atomic guard, a remote unauthenticated attacker who can reach an instance in its pre-onboarding state can create an administrator account for themselves — and concurrent requests can create multiple admin accounts in a single race. Version 2.41.1 patches the issue.

  • Sep 17, 2026pgAdmin 4's Webserver authentication source is intended to accept an identity asserted by the web server or reverse proxy in front of pgAdmin, delivered throughCVE-2026-86863 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Critical 9.3

pgAdmin 4's Webserver authentication source is intended to accept an identity asserted by the web server or reverse proxy in front of pgAdmin, delivered through the WSGI/CGI environment. WebserverAuthentication.get_user() read config.WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER from request.environ and, when that returned nothing, fell back to reading the same name directly from the inbound HTTP request headers via request.headers.get(). An inbound HTTP header is written by whoever sends the request, so any client able to reach pgAdmin could supply that header itself and be authenticated as any username it named, including an existing Administrator, without presenting a password or any other credential. The environment lookup could also be satisfied by a client-supplied header whenever WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER was configured to an HTTP_-prefixed or hyphenated name such as HTTP_X_FORWARDED_USER or X-Forwarded-User, since WSGI servers place inbound headers into the environment under exactly those names. Deployments are affected only when 'webserver' is enabled in AUTHENTICATION_SOURCES. The fix distinguishes a genuine CGI/WSGI variable from a header-derived one and implicitly trusts only the former. • Sep 17, 2026Sanic is an opensource python web server/framework.CVE-2026-85078 · Other software · sanic-org · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Sanic is an opensource python web server/framework. In version 25.12.0, Sanic's core HTTP/1.1 chunked-body handling does not fully consume the trailer-part after the terminating zero chunk before reusing the keep-alive connection buffer. A remote unauthenticated client can place attacker-controlled bytes in that trailer region, causing Sanic to parse and route them as a hidden second request after the outer request. This breaks HTTP request-boundary integrity and can provide a request-smuggling primitive when Sanic is deployed behind intermediaries. This issue is fixed in version 25.12.1.

  • Sep 17, 2026Sanic is an opensource python web server/framework.CVE-2026-85077 · Other software · sanic-org · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Sanic is an opensource python web server/framework. Prior to version 24.12.1, and in version 25.12.0, the HTTP/1.1 response pipeline in sanic/response/types.py serializes response header names and values without rejecting carriage-return or line-feed characters. Applications that place attacker-controlled data in response.headers, file(..., filename=...), or cookie path and domain attributes can therefore emit injected headers and may split responses. Depending on application and proxy behavior, this can enable session fixation through injected cookies, cache poisoning, or security-header corruption. This issue is fixed in versions 24.12.1 and 25.12.1.

  • Aug 20, 2026Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library.CVE-2026-73259 · Other software · cesanta · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.22, a remote attacker can send a crafted percent-encoded request path to a deployment using MG_ENABLE_DIRLIST and persuade a user to visit it. The mg_http_serve_dir() and listdir() path in src/http.c places the decoded request URI into the title and h1 elements without HTML entity encoding. The resulting reflected cross-site scripting executes in the Mongoose origin and can expose session data or perform actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 7.22.

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.22, a remote attacker can place a lone carriage return or line feed in multipart input processed by mg_http_next_multipart() in src/http.c. The loops comparing s[b] and s[b + 1], and s[h2] and s[h2 + 1], use an incorrect AND condition and stop when either character resembles part of a CRLF terminator. This truncates headers, filenames, or boundaries and can cause an application to accept dangerous content after seeing a misleading Content-Type value. This issue is fixed in version 7.22.

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Priro to version 7.22, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send an HTTP request containing both Content-Length and Transfer-Encoding: chunked. The cl_count and te_count checks in the mg_http_parse() and http_cb() paths in src/http.c accept both headers and prioritize chunked encoding, while a Content-Length-preferring reverse proxy can use a different request boundary. This CL.TE desynchronization can inject requests that access or modify resources in another user context. This issue is fixed in version 7.22.

  • Aug 20, 2026Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library.CVE-2026-73256 · Other software · cesanta · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.22, a remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit an HTTP/1.0 reverse-proxy deployment by sending a request with Transfer-Encoding: chunked and conflicting framing. The http_cb() function in src/http.c tests hm.proto.len with an impossible greater-than-eight condition even though mg_http_parse() requires an eight-byte protocol string, so is_http_1_0 is never set. Mongoose consequently processes chunked encoding that an HTTP/1.0 proxy can ignore, enabling request smuggling and unauthorized access or state changes. This issue is fixed in version 7.22.

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.22, an attacker who can create a file with an HTML payload in its name can trigger stored cross-site scripting when a user browses a directory served with MG_ENABLE_DIRLIST. The printdirentry() path called by listdir() in src/http.c URL-encodes the href but inserts the raw filesystem filename into the HTML link text. Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to version 7.22, an on-path network attacker with a wildcard certificate for a parent domain can impersonate deeper subdomains to a client using the built-in TLS stack. The mg_tls_verify_cert_san() and mg_tls_verify_cert_cn() functions in src/tls_builtin.c call mg_match(), whose wildcard can cross DNS label boundaries, so a pattern such as *.example.com can match foo.bar.example.com. The resulting hostname verification bypass permits interception and modification of TLS traffic. This issue is fixed in version 7.22.

  • Aug 20, 2026Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library.CVE-2026-73251 · Other software · cesanta · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, a network attacker can impersonate a TLS server to a Mongoose client configured with a multi-certificate CA bundle. In src/tls_builtin.c, the mg_tls_init() function stores the bundle in tls->ca_bundle_der while tls->ca_der.len remains zero, and mg_tls_recv_cert() uses tls_bundle_find() to accept a Common Name match without calling mg_tls_verify_cert_signature(). A forged self-signed certificate can therefore satisfy hostname and CertificateVerify checks and enable interception, credential disclosure, traffic modification, and malicious responses. This issue is fixed in version 7.23.

  • Aug 19, 2026Algernon is a small self-contained pure-Go web server.CVE-2026-52792 · Other software · xyproto · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Algernon is a small self-contained pure-Go web server. Prior to 1.17.9, Algernon on Windows selects a file handler in engine/handlers.go by calling filepath.Ext() without first rejecting NTFS-equivalent names such as x.lua::$DATA, x.lua., and x.lua . An unauthenticated client can append one of these suffixes to a public server-side script using the .lua, .tl, .po2, .amber, or .frm extension. The request path passes through URL2filename in utils/files.go, skips the renderer and execution cases, and reaches FilePage, os.Open, ReadAndLogErrors, and ToClient, while NTFS resolves the alias to the underlying script. The server consequently returns raw script source and can expose database credentials, API keys, and the SetCookieSecret value, which may permit forged session cookies. Linux and macOS hosts are not affected by this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.17.9.

  • Aug 19, 2026MyBooks is anebook management web server also known as Talebook.CVE-2026-45274 · Other software · PoxenStudio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

MyBooks is anebook management web server also known as Talebook. In 3.41.2 and earlier, the SignUp.post handler for POST /api/user/sign_up in webserver/handlers/user.py does not enforce the ALLOW_REGISTER configuration flag, even though the frontend hides registration controls when the flag is false. An unauthenticated remote attacker can call the endpoint directly and create a valid account on an instance whose administrator disabled public registration. The process_auth_header function in webserver/handlers/base.py also does not verify the account's active flag, so the newly created and unactivated account can authenticate immediately and access user-level API functionality. The bypass defeats the intended account-creation policy and can supply the low-privilege account required by related authorization vulnerabilities. This issue is fixed in version 3.42.0.

MyBooks is an ebook management web server also known as Talebook. In 3.41.2 and earlier, the AdminSettings.post handler for POST /api/admin/settings in webserver/handlers/admin.py applies the auth decorator but does not check the self.admin_user property, unlike the corresponding GET handler. Any authenticated regular user can therefore overwrite server configuration values including SMTP credentials, OAuth client secrets, storage paths, security feature flags, and autoreload settings. The process_auth_header function in webserver/handlers/base.py also fails to verify the matched account's active flag, allowing a registered but unactivated account to authenticate and reach the vulnerable handler. Exploitation can disclose secrets through configuration access paths, sabotage application behavior, force service restarts, and supply the settings needed for related code-injection attacks. • Aug 19, 2026MyBooks is an enhanced and easy-to-use personal ebook management web server also known as Talebook.CVE-2026-45272 · Other software · PoxenStudio · reported by GitHubCritical 9.4

MyBooks is an enhanced and easy-to-use personal ebook management web server also known as Talebook. In 3.41.2 and earlier, the AdminSettings.post handler in webserver/handlers/admin.py accepts SOCIAL_AUTH key names without validating quotes or newline characters, and SettingsLoader.dumpfile in webserver/loader.py concatenates those names into the generated Python source file auto.py without escaping them. An administrator can submit a crafted SOCIAL_AUTH key name that closes the settings dictionary and injects arbitrary Python statements. The application later executes those statements because SettingsLoader.loadfile imports auto.py as a module, and setting autoreload to true invokes restart_async so a process supervisor restarts the service and triggers the import. Successful exploitation executes commands with the privileges of the application service account and can disclose data, modify files, establish persistence, or disrupt the service. Related authorization and registration vulnerabilities can reduce the effective privilege requirement in a chained attack, but the standalone vulnerability requires administrator access. This issue is fixed in version 3.42.0.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
