  • Sep 14, 2026Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Missing Access Control in Menu Item Creation in SP Page Builder (Free and Pro) 4.0.0 - 6.9.0 - The add-to-menu routine invokCVE-2026-81566 · Websites & servers · reported by security@joomla.orgMedium 5.1

Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Missing Access Control in Menu Item Creation in SP Page Builder (Free and Pro) 4.0.0 - 6.9.0 - The add-to-menu routine invoked the com_menus item model's save() method directly. That model does not perform authorisation itself, because the relevant checks reside in the com_menus controller, and the only check applied was core.edit on com_sppagebuilder. Users with no permissions whatsoever on com_menus could therefore create menu items, and because the record identifier was taken from the submitted jform[menuid] field, could also overwrite existing ones. The home flag was read back from the database and preserved, so the site's home menu item could be repointed while remaining the home item.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: panasonic-laptop: Fix sentinel write past pcc->sinf[] acpi_pcc_retrieve_biosdata() rejects SINF packages only when pcc->num_sifr is strictly less than hkey->package.count, then unconditionally writes a trailing sentinel at pcc->sinf[hkey->package.count]. But pcc->sinf[] is allocated with exactly pcc->num_sifr elements (valid indices 0..num_sifr-1), so that write needs num_sifr strictly greater than package.count to stay in bounds -- num_sifr == package.count passes the existing check but still overflows by one element. This is exactly the case probe()'s existing num_sifr++ workaround ("Some DSDT-s have an off-by-one bug where the SINF package count is one higher than the SQTY reported value") is written to accommodate: when a DSDT's SINF package count equals SQTY+1, the workaround makes num_sifr equal to package.count, which is precisely the boundary that overflows here. Found via UBSan (array-index-out-of-bounds) on hardware where HKEY.SQTY returns 37 and HKEY.SINF()'s package has 38 elements: num_sifr becomes 38 after the += 1 workaround, the loop correctly fills indices 0..37, and the sentinel w

An unauthenticated party able to reach the port of a MongoDB Connector for BI (mongosqld) instance may generate enough routine connection log activity to exhaust the storage backing the configured log path. When a log write or log rotation operation subsequently fails, the resulting error is not handled and the shared mongosqld process ends, ending service for all connected SQL clients. A database user able to create a view in a namespace that MongoDB Connector for BI samples can cause the schema-sampling routine to stop functioning by defining a view whose evaluation reliably fails. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio_ccw: Free all memory if cp_init() fails The routine cp_free() is called to unpin/free any memory once an I/O is completed successfully, or if cp_prefetch() fails. But if cp_init() fails, and cp->initialized is not enabled, the same routine cannot be used to free all the memory. An attempt to address this exists in ccwchain_handle_ccw(), where a single call to ccwchain_free() is made for the currently-processed CCW segment. But this will leak other segments (created as a result of a Transfer in Channel) that had been allocated as part of the same channel program. Address this by performing the cleanup outside of the recursive ccwchain_handle_ccw()/ccwchain_loop_tic() logic.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio_ccw: Fix out of bounds check on CCW array The routine ccwchain_calc_length() counts the number of channel command words (CCWs) that are chained together in a single channel program, and rejects anything larger than CCWCHAIN_LEN_MAX (256) CCWs. The loop itself is "do..while (count < 257)", and while the logic in is_cpa_within_range() correctly adjusts between the 0-index array of CCWs and the count of CCWs starting at 1, this means it would look at a possible 257th CCW before ending the loop and (correctly) returning an error. Fix this by restructuring the loop to break as soon as 256 CCWs (thus indexes 0-255) are examined, without looking at memory outside the range.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio_ccw: Move cp cleanup out of not operational The fsm_notoper() routine is called when the device has been lost, and is (by definition) no longer operational. Since this can happen asynchronously from the normal behavior of the driver, the cleanup may happen when holding other locks in the calling sequence (notably, the cio subchannel lock). Push the cleanup of the private->cp resources to a workqueue, where it can be done out from under that lock sequence and a future patch can safely manage the locking requirements.

luci-lib-px5g (LuCI) contains a heap-based buffer overflow in the native ASN.1 encoding routine asn1_add_obj (x509write.c) when signing a certificate with a 2040-bit RSA key. For a 255-byte signature, the BIT STRING allocation is computed from the DER length encoding of 255 bytes, but the payload written after prepending the unused-bits byte is 256 bytes, requiring one additional DER length octet. As a result the allocation is 259 bytes while the tag, length, unused-bits byte, and signature require 260 bytes, and the final memcpy writes one byte beyond the heap buffer. The overflow is reachable through the exported Lua interface via create_selfsigned(); whether it is remotely exploitable depends on the embedding application. The vulnerable code is present on the openwrt-18.06 through openwrt-25.12 release branches and is absent from master, where the luci-lib-px5g package has been removed rather than patched.

stigmem-node before 0.9.0a12 contains a broken object level authorization (cross-tenant BOLA) vulnerability in the quarantine review endpoints. On multi-tenant deployments running the opt-in stigmem-plugin-multi-tenant, the list/count queries and _get_quarantined_fact in routes/quarantine.py lacked a tenant_id predicate and the garden lookup was not tenant-scoped, allowing a tenant administrator with only a plain tenant write capability to list, read, and admit or reject quarantined facts belonging to other tenants via the /v1/quarantine endpoints. Default single-tenant deployments are not affected.

  • Aug 18, 2026The tar extraction routines in moby/go-archive (Unpack, UnpackLayer, Untar/UntarUncompressed, and the ApplyLayer helpers) do not confine filesystem operations tCVE-2026-17106 · Other software · moby · reported by security@docker.comHigh 7.1

The tar extraction routines in moby/go-archive (Unpack, UnpackLayer, Untar/UntarUncompressed, and the ApplyLayer helpers) do not confine filesystem operations to the destination directory. The extractor decides where each archive entry lands using lexical string checks and then performs the filesystem operation on a path that is resolved by the OS, so links introduced by the archive can be followed out of the destination directory. An attacker who controls the contents of an archive can create or overwrite files at arbitrary paths writable by the extracting process.

  • Jul 30, 2026A logic vulnerability in the password reset token validation routine implemented by osTicket in versions prior to v1.17.8 and v1.18.4.CVE-2026-18363 · Other software · Enhancesoft LLC · reported by cve-coordination@incibe.esCritical 9.1

A logic vulnerability in the password reset token validation routine implemented by osTicket in versions prior to v1.17.8 and v1.18.4. During the password reset process, the application retrieves the timestamp associated with the provided token and checks whether the configured validity period has expired. Consequently, the expiry check is only performed if the timestamp lookup fails, allowing tokens with an existing timestamp to bypass the intended expiry validation. Therefore, an attacker able to obtain a valid password reset token could reuse it to perform an unauthorised password reset and compromise the affected account.

  • Jul 29, 2026A vulnerability in the `zipx.Unzip` extraction routine of Develar's app-builder allows an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on macOS APFS by exploiting a UnCVE-2026-13723 · Other software · Develar · reported by cret@cert.orgMedium 6.5

A vulnerability in the `zipx.Unzip` extraction routine of Develar's app-builder allows an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on macOS APFS by exploiting a Unicode Normalization Collision combined with symlink following behavior. APFS treats certain Unicode equivalent filenames as identical (e.g., ß ↔ ss), while app builder performs no canonical normalization before validating or writing paths. As a result, a crafted ZIP archive containing: • a symlink entry named ss pointing to a target file, and • a regular file named ß containing attacker controlled data, will cause the second write to follow the symlink and overwrite the target file.

QTI Neon is a minimal, game-agnostic, relay-based UDP multiplayer protocol library. In version 1.0.0, the relay's handleReconnectRequest forwards RECONNECT_REQUEST packets to the host without bounding them, so an unauthenticated client can drive relay-to-host amplification and cause a denial of service on the host. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
