The mechanism binding files generated during a shredding process to the authentication method is not working correctly and the same session token is used for all token-based API users. This is similar to an issue fixed in 2026.7.1 but was missed while creating the fix. Since the files are referred to by randomly generated UUIDs and only exist for a day, there is virtually no risk, but it renders the added protection mechanism useless. As part of the fix, we have also improved hardening of some other related code areas.

  • Oct 27, 2026@fastify/session is a session plugin for Fastify.CVE-2026-117499 · Other software · @fastify/session · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbLow 3.7

@fastify/session is a session plugin for Fastify. In all releases before 11.1.6, with the default rolling session behavior, a request that restored a session before a logout could save its own copy after another request had completed the session destroy call, recreating the destroyed session identifier with its authenticated data. An attacker who already holds a victim's valid signed session cookie and keeps a request in flight across the logout can replay that cookie to restore the session after it was meant to be revoked, without any cookie theft or signature forgery. The issue is fixed in @fastify/session 11.1.6, which adds a per session generation marker and a conditional store write so a session restored before a logout or regeneration cannot recreate or overwrite the current entry, and users should upgrade to 11.1.6 or later. There is no workaround, and custom session stores must implement the new conditional write.

  • Oct 26, 2026The Espressif AES driver drivers/crypto/crypto_esp32_aes.c advertises a multi-session cipher API — it hands out up to CONFIG_ESP32_CRYPTO_AES_SESSIONS_MAX (defaCVE-2026-82390 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.7

The Espressif AES driver drivers/crypto/crypto_esp32_aes.c advertises a multi-session cipher API — it hands out up to CONFIG_ESP32_CRYPTO_AES_SESSIONS_MAX (default 4) independent sessions, each carrying its own key and direction. The AES peripheral, however, has a single chip-global set of key and mode registers, and aes_begin_session() programmed them exactly once, at session start, outside the aes_lock mutex that serialises the transforms. The per-operation handlers aes_ecb_op(), aes_cbc_op() and aes_ctr_op() then ran aes_hal_transform_block() against whatever key and direction the registers happened to hold. As a result, once a second session is opened with a different key, every subsequent operation on the first session silently uses the second session's key and direction, and no error is reported. Because the key programming happened outside the lock, the correct usage pattern of "each thread does begin, then op, then free on its own session" also races: a second thread's cipher_begin_session() landing between the first thread's begin and its operation makes that operation run under the second thread's key. • Oct 26, 2026Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in Apache Camel Keycloak component.CVE-2026-95663 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 4.8

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in Apache Camel Keycloak component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.16.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.2. When token introspection is enabled on the camel-keycloak KeycloakSecurityPolicy (useTokenIntrospection=true), the security processor validates the access token of a request by sending it to Keycloak's OAuth 2.0 token introspection endpoint, and accepts the token while the response reports it as active. The introspection endpoint reports a token as inactive once its exp (expiration) time has passed, so on this path the active flag is what enforces token expiry. Introspection results are cached by default (introspectionCacheEnabled=true, introspectionCacheTtl=60 seconds), and both cache implementations shipped with the component, ConcurrentMapTokenCache and CaffeineTokenCache, expired an entry a fixed time after it was inserted, without bounding that lifetime by the exp claim that the cached response already carried. KeycloakSecurityProcessor in turn checked only the active flag of the result, on every path that uses introspection, and never compared exp with the current time. A response cached shortly before t

Postiz signs its session, invitation and password reset tokens with one shared secret and without any marker of what a token is for. A route that refreshes the credentials of a browser-extension channel signed data taken from the request itself and stored the result where the requesting user can read it back. A user could therefore obtain a validly signed token containing any claims they choose, which the application accepts as a session, as an organization invitation with a chosen role, as a password reset or as an enterprise provisioning token. A second, narrower route that creates team invitations signs extra fields from the request body in the same way.

  • Oct 23, 2026Entire CLI hooks into Git workflows to capture AI agent sessions.CVE-2026-57208 · Other software · entireio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2

Entire CLI hooks into Git workflows to capture AI agent sessions. Prior to version 0.7.7, a path traversal vulnerability in Entire CLI allows an attacker with push access to the checkpoints repository to craft malicious checkpoint metadata that causes entire session resume or entire checkpoint rewind to write attacker-controlled transcript data outside of the expected session directory. The issue occurs because checkpoint metadata is fetched from the remote entire/checkpoints/v1 branch and the SessionID field was used to construct filesystem paths without validation in the restore path. A malicious SessionID containing absolute paths or path traversal sequences could cause arbitrary files on the victim’s machine to be overwritten. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.7.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: remove stale channels from all sessions on teardown ksmbd_sessions_deregister() removes a connection's channels from other sessions' channel lists only while conn->binding is still set: if (conn->binding) { hash_for_each_safe(sessions_table, ...) ksmbd_chann_del(conn, sess); } conn->binding is a transient flag: it is cleared once a binding SESSION_SETUP completes, and also by a subsequent non-binding SESSION_SETUP on the same connection (a reauthentication on a bound channel, or a new SessionId==0 setup). A connection that has bound a channel into another session's ksmbd_chann_list and then clears conn->binding leaves that channel behind when it disconnects: the channel, whose chann->conn points at the now freed struct ksmbd_conn, stays on the owner session's list. When the owning connection later tears down, the second loop dereferences the stale channel: xa_for_each(&sess->ksmbd_chann_list, chann_id, chann) if (chann->conn != conn) ksmbd_conn_set_exiting(chann->conn); /* freed */ which is a use-after-free write into the freed ksmbd_conn (the same stale channel is also walked by show_p

Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 contains an object injection primitive in rcube_session::unserialize(). A session key prefixed with “!” was treated as having no value, and the reconstructed serialized string was emitted with a key but no corresponding value, desynchronizing the remainder of the input so that following session data was interpreted as a serialized value. This yields a PHP object injection primitive for an attacker able to influence stored session data. • Oct 21, 2026VaadinService.requestEnd() in Vaadin Framework 8 locks the session and then reads the v-uiId request parameter outside the block that releases the lock.CVE-2026-110803 · Other software · vaadin · reported by security@vaadin.comHigh 8.7

VaadinService.requestEnd() in Vaadin Framework 8 locks the session and then reads the v-uiId request parameter outside the block that releases the lock. A request carrying a non-numeric v-uiId makes Integer.parseInt throw while the session lock is held, so the lock is never released and the container thread returns to its pool still owning it. Every later request to that session then blocks forever in VaadinService.lockSession(), and repeating the request exhausts the thread pool and takes the application down. No authentication is required: a session cookie, which any client obtains with a single request, is enough. Vaadin 10 and later are not affected, because Flow releases the lock in a finally block and does not read that parameter there, and Vaadin Framework 7 is not affected either. • Oct 19, 2026Tokens associated with user sessions are not revoked when the corresponding user session is terminated, unless another SSO request is initiated.CVE-2025-13173 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Medium 6.5

Tokens associated with user sessions are not revoked when the corresponding user session is terminated, unless another SSO request is initiated. This occurs when the session-bound token feature is enabled with token binding validation and the "Revoke token upon user logout" option is not active. The software fails to automatically invalidate session-bound tokens upon user session termination. This vulnerability exists when token binding validation is enabled. As a result, a malicious actor possessing a valid session-bound token could exploit this condition to maintain unauthorized access to applications and resources even after the associated user session has ended, potentially leading to the exposure of sensitive user data.

  • Oct 19, 2026Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in Apache Camel AS2 component.CVE-2026-85296 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.5

Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in Apache Camel AS2 component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. Signing material belonging to an individual request was stored in state that is shared across requests rather than confined to the request being processed. Where a deployment serves more than one trading partner, concurrent or successive requests could therefore observe each other's material, and a Message Disposition Notification could be signed with the key of a partner other than the one the receipt was for. The result is cross-partner key confusion: a receipt attributable to the wrong partner, and one partner's signing material used while handling another partner's exchange. AS2 deployments are typically multi-partner by design, so the condition is reached by ordinary concurrent traffic rather than by anything the attacker must arrange. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Per-request signing keys are now confined to the request being processed in ResponseMD

  • Oct 19, 2026Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in Apache Camel Thrift component.CVE-2026-85245 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.9

Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in Apache Camel Thrift component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The Thrift data format unmarshalled incoming data into the shared defaultInstance of the target type rather than into a fresh copy, and returned that shared object as the exchange body. Because the instance is shared process-wide, state written while unmarshalling one message stayed on the object and was visible to every later message that used the same type. Fields absent from a later payload retained the previous message's values, so content belonging to one sender could be read while processing another sender's message, and concurrent exchanges could observe each other's partially written state. In a deployment that serves more than one tenant or user through the same route, that is disclosure of one party's data to another. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Unmarshalling now deserializes into a copy, so each exchange gets its own instance and no stat

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: shut down RX BA session timer on teardown Tearing down an RX BA session can leave the session timer queued on a freed tid_rx. Later timer-wheel processing and the timer callback itself then run against freed memory. An RX BAR handler can dereference tid_rx under RCU before teardown unpublishes it and stay in its read-side critical section while teardown deletes the session timer. The stale handler can then rearm the timer after timer_delete_sync() returns and before the RCU callback frees tid_rx. Use timer_shutdown_sync() so rearm attempts become ineffective once teardown starts. Keep reorder_timer unchanged: teardown marks the session removed under reorder_lock and its release path checks that state before rearming. session_timer has no equivalent guard because ieee80211_rx_h_ctrl() rearms it before taking reorder_lock.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: fix NULL dereference of dlc->session in RFCOMM_CONNINFO The RFCOMM_CONNINFO getsockopt handler accepts a socket that is not connected as long as deferred setup is enabled: if (sk->sk_state != BT_CONNECTED && !rfcomm_pi(sk)->dlc->defer_setup) { err = -ENOTCONN; break; } l2cap_sk = rfcomm_pi(sk)->dlc->session->sock->sk; dlc->defer_setup is set in rfcomm_sock_init() when rfcomm_connect_ind() creates a child socket for an incoming connection on a listening socket that has BT_DEFER_SETUP enabled. It is never cleared afterwards. The session, however, can go away underneath it. rfcomm_recv_disc() forces the dlc state before tearing it down: d->state = BT_CLOSED; __rfcomm_dlc_close(d, err); The RFCOMM_DEFER_SETUP early return in __rfcomm_dlc_close() only covers BT_CONNECT, BT_CONFIG, BT_OPEN and BT_CONNECT2, so with the state already BT_CLOSED that switch does not match and the function falls through to rfcomm_dlc_unlink(), which sets d->session = NULL, while d->defer_setup stays 1. A getsockopt(SOL_RFCOMM, RFCOMM_CONNINFO) on the accepted socket after that point therefore skips the
