  • Sep 15, 2026plone.app.textfield provides a zope.schema-style field type called RichText for storing a value with a related MIME type.CVE-2026-54503 · Other software · plone · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

plone.app.textfield provides a zope.schema-style field type called RichText for storing a value with a related MIME type. Prior to 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1, depending on the release line, RichTextValue.output returns an unsanitized stored RichText value when mimeType equals outputMimeType, including values that claim the text/x-html-safe output type. This equality shortcut bypasses the safe_html transform even though the transform itself correctly removes event-handler attributes and unsafe URI schemes. Equal types can result from a RichText field configured with the same mimeType and outputMimeType or from REST API input that supplies text/x-html-safe as its content type. The raw stored value is then emitted through tal:content=structure without escaping, allowing a user who can set a RichText field to store JavaScript that executes in a viewer's browser. This issue is fixed in versions 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1.

  • Sep 8, 2026A flaw in MongoDB's JSON Schema validation error generation code allows an authenticated user with readWrite privileges to crash the mongod server.CVE-2026-82058 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comHigh 7.1

A flaw in MongoDB's JSON Schema validation error generation code allows an authenticated user with readWrite privileges to crash the mongod server. When a BSON document containing an array with a malformed numeric field name fails a $jsonSchema items type constraint, the error generation path performs unsafe numeric conversion on the user-controlled field name without proper exception handling, resulting in an uncaught exception that terminates the server process. This is possible because incoming wire protocol BSON validation does not enforce that array element field names are valid, in-range numeric indices.

  • Sep 8, 2026A security issue exists in MongoDB server's JSON Pointer parser used during $jsonSchema query filter processing.CVE-2026-82054 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comHigh 7.1

A security issue exists in MongoDB server's JSON Pointer parser used during $jsonSchema query filter processing. When a find command includes a specially crafted $jsonSchema filter field, the parser processes the input without enforcing adequate limits on iteration count or total allocation size, resulting in significant memory amplification. Under concurrent request load, the cumulative memory consumption can exhaust available heap memory, causing the server's out-of-memory handler to terminate the mongod process and deny service to all connected clients.

  • Sep 4, 2026fastify versions before 5.12.2 implement the case-insensitive nature of HTTP header names by lowercasing names in a route's header schema before compiling it, bCVE-2026-84428 · Other software · fastify · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbHigh 7.5

fastify versions before 5.12.2 implement the case-insensitive nature of HTTP header names by lowercasing names in a route's header schema before compiling it, but the transformation is incomplete: it lowercases the properties keys and the root-level required array, and does not lowercase the trigger and dependent names inside the JSON Schema Draft 7 dependencies keyword. Because Node stores request header names in lowercase, a canonical-case dependency such as requiring an authentication header whenever a privileged-mode header is present never matches, and the presence assertion is silently skipped. An unauthenticated remote client can therefore send the header that activates a privileged branch while omitting the header the dependency was meant to require, bypassing the conditional check. Users should upgrade to fastify 5.12.2 or later.

  • Sep 4, 2026fastify versions before 5.12.2 decide whether to compile a request schema based on JavaScript truthiness, but JSON Schema Draft 7 defines the boolean false as aCVE-2026-84469 · Other software · fastify · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbHigh 7.5

fastify versions before 5.12.2 decide whether to compile a request schema based on JavaScript truthiness, but JSON Schema Draft 7 defines the boolean false as a valid schema that rejects every instance. When an application assigns false to a route's body, querystring, params, or headers schema to deny all input, fastify treats it as a missing schema, compiles no validator, and runs the route handler on any request. An unauthenticated remote client can therefore reach a handler that a valid deny-all schema was intended to make unreachable, a complete validation bypass that can lead to unauthorized state changes or execution of disabled operations. Users should upgrade to fastify 5.12.2 or later.

  • Sep 1, 2026joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript.CVE-2026-84368 · Other software · hapijs · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript. From 16.0.0 until 17.13.6 and 18.2.5, the @hapi/joi package through 17.1.1 and the successor joi package contain prototype pollution in lib/messages.js, where exports.compile() and exports.merge() reuse inherited objects for attacker-controlled language keys supplied through messages(), message(), prefs({ messages }), Joi.extend({ messages }), or rule({ message }). A language key named __proto__ writes properties onto Object.prototype, and constructor writes to the Object function's static properties. A consuming application that gates on the presence of an inherited property can take the wrong branch for every inspected object. The flaw is not reachable from data that joi validates and requires an application to feed untrusted input directly into schema-construction configuration. This issue is fixed in joi versions 17.13.6 and 18.2.5; no fixed @hapi/joi version is available.

  • Sep 1, 2026joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript.CVE-2026-84367 · Other software · hapijs · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript. From 16.0.0 until 17.13.5 and 18.2.4, joi's lib/types/keys.js internals.rename() implementation used by object().rename() permits a schema that renames keys with a regular-expression source and a Joi.expression() or Joi.x() target that interpolates the pattern's own match data, combined with { multiple: true }, to derive a target from an attacker-controlled input key. An attacker can send x-__proto__ with an object value, causing the target to render as __proto__ and set the prototype of the object returned by validate() instead of creating an own key. The global Object.prototype is not modified, so the effect is confined to the object returned by that validation call. Static-string targets and schemas using the default { multiple: false } are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 17.13.5 and 18.2.4.

  • Aug 30, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller in a schema-based multitenant application to receive aggregate values computed fromCVE-2026-81318 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller in a schema-based multitenant application to receive aggregate values computed from another tenant's rows. When an aggregate is computed over a distinct query, AshSql.AggregateQuery.add_single_aggs/5 rebuilds the outer query from query.from.source alone, which is only the {table, schema} tuple and does not carry query.prefix or query.from.prefix. For strategy(:context) multitenancy those hold the tenant schema, so the rebuilt outer query reads the repo's default schema while the inner correlated subquery still reads the tenant schema, and the two are joined only on primary key. The aggregate, and any relationship join added off the prefix-less binding, is then computed against the wrong tenant's rows. The neighbouring limit and exists branches instead wrap the query with subquery/1, which preserves the prefix. This issue affects ash_sql: from 0.1.0 before 0.7.1.

A database user able to create a view in a namespace that MongoDB Connector for BI samples can cause the schema-sampling routine to stop functioning by defining a view whose evaluation reliably fails. The sampling logic classifies the resulting server message as transient and, after the configured retries are exhausted, proceeds without a valid result, ending the schema refresh routine. QWED is open-source AI verification infrastructure for deterministic verification of LLM outputs, tool calls, code, schemas, and agent state before production execution. Prior to 5.1.2, the qwed package passes caller-controlled math expressions directly to SymPy parse_expr() without restricted global_dict and local_dict namespaces, allowing Python eval() to resolve builtins and execute arbitrary Python code in the API server process. In src/qwed_new/api/main.py, POST /verify/math is protected by get_current_tenant but accepts any valid tenant API key, reads the expression field, applies only a cosmetic re.sub(r'(\d)(()', r'\1*\2', expression) normalization, and passes the result to parse_expr(). In src/qwed_new/core/batch.py, POST /verify/batch sends math items through batch_service.create_job(), stores item.query verbatim, and _verify_item() passes VerificationType.MATH input to parse_expr() without sanitization. The default-enabled POST /auth/signup endpoint allows anyone to create a standard tenant account, POST /auth/api-keys issues an x-api-key, and either vulnerable path can then be used to read or write files, modify data, execute operating system commands, terminate the ser

Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Avro SerDe schema resolution in Apache Hive before 4.2.1 allows an authenticated remote attacker with CREATE TABLE privilege to cause the Hive server to fetch an attacker-controlled URL when resolving the avro.schema.url table property on an Avro table that is subsequently queried. This can expose cloud instance metadata, internal network services, or local server files to the Hive process identity. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.2.1, which fixes this issue. Attacker access requirements: * Network access to HiveServer2 / Metastore: required (remote attacker model). * Valid Hive authentication: required. * CREATE TABLE (or equivalent) privilege: required, so the attacker can set avro.schema.url in table properties. * SELECT privilege on the malicious table: not required for the creator, who can typically query their own table; any other user granted SELECT can also trigger the fetch. * Write access to the table LOCATION: not required; the attack uses the schema URL, not the data path. * Admin / superuser privileges: not required; an ordinary authenticated user with DDL rights is sufficient. * External tabl

  • Aug 6, 2026The XML and schema validation functionalities within the SchemaValidator Mediator process XML input as part of validation flows.CVE-2026-3415 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8High 8.7

The XML and schema validation functionalities within the SchemaValidator Mediator process XML input as part of validation flows. Under certain conditions, the XML parser allows the resolution of external entities when handling user-supplied XML content during validation operations. This behavior can occur when an attacker supplies crafted XML payloads to the relevant mediator flows with sufficient privileges. Successful exploitation may allow a highly privileged actor to read files accessible within the server hosting the affected product. Additionally, it may be possible to trigger outbound requests to unintended internal or external locations, depending on the server environment and network configuration. Specially crafted XML payloads can also lead to excessive resource consumption during parsing, impacting the availability of the product.

ArcadeDB before 26.7.2 fails to enforce the UPDATE_SCHEMA database permission on the ALTER TYPE ... CUSTOM and ALTER TYPE ... BUCKETSELECTIONSTRATEGY SQL operations, which map to setCustomValue and setBucketSelectionStrategy in LocalDocumentType. An authenticated user with only read access (e.g., a read-only API token) can submit these ALTER TYPE statements via the HTTP command endpoint to mutate a type's custom schema metadata and bucket-selection strategy, bypassing the documented updateSchema permission boundary and potentially corrupting schema metadata and record routing.

  • Jul 29, 2026Valibot helps validate data using a schema.CVE-2026-59952 · Other software · open-circle · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Valibot helps validate data using a schema. Versions prior to 1.4.2 can throw a TypeError inside its flatten() helper when validation issues contain attacker-controlled object keys such as toString, valueOf, or hasOwnProperty. The issue is reachable through normal record() validation. record() intentionally filters __proto__, prototype, and constructor, but it still accepts other own keys that collide with inherited Object.prototype properties. If the record key schema or value schema rejects such an entry, Valibot creates an issue path containing that key. Passing the resulting issues to Valibot's documented flatten() helper causes flatErrors.nested[dotPath] to resolve to the inherited method instead of an own error array, and the helper calls .push(...) on that function. This is not a global prototype pollution issue. The impact is availability/error handling: applications that validate user-controlled objects with record() and flatten validation errors for API responses can crash the request path with a TypeError instead of returning structured validation errors. This issue has been fixed in version 1.4.2.
