  • Oct 15, 2026Grafana's data source proxy did not apply role-based access control to write requests forwarded to Loki data sources.CVE-2026-9703 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comHigh 7.1

Grafana's data source proxy did not apply role-based access control to write requests forwarded to Loki data sources. A user holding only the Viewer role on an affected Grafana instance could send POST, PUT and DELETE requests through the proxy to the Loki rules API (/loki/api/v1/rules), allowing them to create, modify and delete Loki alerting rules. Because those rules are stored by Loki rather than by Grafana, the change took effect for every user of that Loki data source, not only for the Viewer who made the request. Exploitation requires an authenticated Viewer account on the Grafana instance and a configured Loki data source; no other privileges are needed. Both Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise are affected. The defect is in Grafana's data source proxy; Loki itself is not vulnerable and does not need to be patched.

In Eclipse Jetty, `TryPathsHandler` and `TryFilesFilter` can be configured to forward requests to template URIs such as `index?p=$path`, where `$path` is the request path in context. However, URI paths may contain characters that are reserved in URI queries so that a path of `/s&a=1` when applied to the template becomes `index?p=/s&a=1`, which is interpreted as 2 query parameters: `p=/s` and `a=1`, rather than just one query parameter `p` whose value is `/s&a=1`.

  • Oct 14, 2026Wheels CLI through 4.1.0 does not verify that the local development server answering its HTTP requests belongs to the current project.CVE-2026-110909 · Other software · Wheels · reported by MITREMedium 5

Wheels CLI through 4.1.0 does not verify that the local development server answering its HTTP requests belongs to the current project. A process listening on a port targeted by the CLI can receive the project's reload password and code submitted through wheels reload or wheels console; console also probes common ports when the project server is down. Other commands can perform unintended state-changing operations against a different local application's server and database. Exploitation requires a process listening on a targeted local port and the developer running an affected command. This is fixed in 4.1.1, including changes to the CLI and application template.

Gitea's shared comparison helper omits the token repository-access check used when updating pull requests. A public-only token with read:repository scope can route a comparison or pull request creation through a public base repository and retrieve commit history and diffs from a private head repository accessible to the token owner. • Oct 12, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-107226 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 3.0.14, the default ThreadSafeCookieStore does not retain whether a Set-Cookie response used a secure transport. It accepts Secure cookies received over plaintext and permits insecure cookies to overlay or delete existing Secure cookies with matching scope. An attacker controlling a plaintext same-site response can consequently plant, replace, or remove cookie state later sent to an HTTPS origin, enabling session fixation, CSRF-token replacement, or loss of security-relevant state. OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a NULL pointer dereference caused by repeated IPP group tags in job-creation requests. IPP parsing creates unnamed separator attributes with IPP_TAG_ZERO, but add_job() converts these separators to IPP_TAG_JOB. During job startup, get_options()/ipp_length() subsequently calls strlen() on a NULL attribute name, terminating cupsd and disrupting all queues. A single crafted Print-Job request can trigger the crash when the client can reach the scheduler and submit jobs to an accepting, enabled queue supporting the submitted document format. AdonisJS HTTP Server is a package for handling HTTP requests in the AdonisJS framework. Prior to 8.2.3 and 9.3.0, AdonisJS HTTP Server inserts route parameter values into URLs without encodeURIComponent in the shared createURL() helper used by Router.makeUrl() and Response.redirect().toRoute(). If an application places attacker-controlled data in a dynamic first path segment and uses the generated route URL as a redirect destination, a value beginning with a slash can produce a scheme-relative external URL. Wildcard parameters are affected by the same missing encoding, while APIs intentionally accepting complete redirect URLs are not affected. An attacker can redirect users from a trusted application to an attacker-controlled site, facilitating phishing or abuse of authentication and OAuth flows. @fastify/reply-from is a Fastify plugin that forwards requests to an upstream HTTP or HTTPS server. In versions prior to 12.7.0, all of the built-in HTTPS transports override the secure default and set rejectUnauthorized to false, so the proxy does not verify the TLS certificate of the upstream even when the application points it at an https upstream in the default configuration. An on-path network attacker can therefore impersonate the configured HTTPS upstream, read the credentials and request bodies the proxy forwards, and return forged responses that the application trusts. The issue is fixed in @fastify/reply-from 12.7.0, and users should upgrade to 12.7.0 or later. As a workaround, pass an explicit rejectUnauthorized true on the transport, supply an already configured undici instance, or use the undici global agent.

In OpenStack Zaqar before 23.0.1, the WebSocket transport fails to bind the project identifier in subsequent requests to the project authenticated by the Keystone token. An authenticated user with a valid token for one project may substitute another project's UUID to enumerate, inspect, create, or delete queues belonging to that project, resulting in unauthorized disclosure, modification, or loss of queue data. Only deployments using the WebSocket transport with Keystone authentication are affected.

  • Oct 7, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-107229 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 4

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.16.0 until 3.0.14, ThreadSafeCookieStore incompletely validates cookie Domain attributes. Missing private-section and default public-suffix rules, absent A-label normalization, locale-sensitive lowercasing, public-suffix host-only handling, and numeric or IP host checks allow one origin to store a cookie later sent to another origin. Applications sharing one client across trust domains can therefore receive attacker-injected cookies and may be exposed to session fixation. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.

  • Oct 7, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-107228 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 3.0.14, the enabled-by-default cookie store replaces a Cookie header explicitly supplied through setHeader or addHeader whenever the store contributes any cookie for the origin. In a shared client, stored cookies originating from one user can replace a different user's request cookie, causing the request to execute under the wrong session. This bypasses the earlier CVE-2024-53990 remediation, which covered cookies supplied through addCookie but not a directly supplied header. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.

  • Oct 7, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-107227 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.2.0 until 3.0.14, WebSocket permessage-deflate decompression is unbounded when compression is enabled. The inbound pipeline aggregates compressed frames before WebSocketClientCompressionHandler inflates them, so webSocketMaxFrameSize and webSocketMaxBufferSize do not bound decompressed output. A malicious WebSocket peer can send a small compressed message that expands to a very large Netty buffer and exhausts JVM heap. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: don't free driver-owned scan requests When an interface goes down while a scan is running, cfg80211 completes the scan towards userspace and frees the scan request. However, the driver can be convinced that it owns the request, since the cancellation is (intended to be) asynchronous. The WARN_ON() in the netdev notifier was meant to catch this, but it's not actually avoidable, so it triggers and we get a UAF in scan_done(). There doesn't seem to be a great way around it, so just track that the driver is still convinced it owns the request, and then just free it on completion if it was already cancelled. Also remove the warnings since they can trigger in the intended architecture.

  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: hsq: Fix use-after-free in retry work mmc_hsq_pump_requests() queues retry_work when CVE-2026-98212 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: hsq: Fix use-after-free in retry work mmc_hsq_pump_requests() queues retry_work when request_atomic() returns -EBUSY; today sdhci-sprd is the only consumer that implements request_atomic(). The work is embedded in a devm-allocated mmc_hsq, but is never cancelled during driver removal. Work still pending at unbind can therefore run after the devm allocation has been released and dereference hsq->mmc and hsq->mrq. Use devm_work_autocancel() to cancel and drain retry_work before the devm allocation is released. By the time devres cleanup begins, mmc_remove_host() has already stopped the host, so no new requests can arm the work. This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool.

Punk versions from 0.48 before 0.55 for Perl route Extended CONNECT requests to any GET route without an Origin check in ps_serve_one. On HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 a WebSocket handshake arrives as an Extended CONNECT, which is matched as a GET and so reaches every GET route, API operation and mount. The Origin check runs only when a websocket route matches. On this transport the handler's status is the handshake response, and a 2xx accepts it. A cross-origin page can open a WebSocket to any path and learn from its open or error event whether that path returns 2xx.
