  • Mar 16, 2026GStreamer rtpqdm2depay Out-Of-Bounds Write Remote Code Execution Vulnerability.CVE-2026-3083 · Other software · GStreamer · reported by zdi-disclosures@trendmicro.comHigh 8.8

GStreamer rtpqdm2depay Out-Of-Bounds Write Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GStreamer. Interaction with this library is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation. The specific flaw exists within the processing of X-QDM RTP payload elements. When parsing the packetid element, the process does not properly validate user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated array. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-28850.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: smartpqi: Fix device resources accessed after device removal Correct possible race conditions during device removal. Previously, a scheduled work item to reset a LUN could still execute after the device was removed, leading to use-after-free and other resource access issues. This race condition occurs because the abort handler may schedule a LUN reset concurrently with device removal via sdev_destroy(), leading to use-after-free and improper access to freed resources. - Check in the device reset handler if the device is still present in the controller's SCSI device list before running; if not, the reset is skipped. - Cancel any pending TMF work that has not started in sdev_destroy(). - Ensure device freeing in sdev_destroy() is done while holding the LUN reset mutex to avoid races with ongoing resets.

In Sipwise rtpengine before 13.4.1.1, an origin-validation error in the endpoint-learning logic of the media-relay core allows remote attackers to inject or intercept RTP/SRTP media streams via RTP packets (except when the relay is configured for strict source and learning disabled). Pion Interceptor is a framework for building RTP/RTCP communication software. Versions v0.1.36 through v0.1.38 contain a bug in a RTP packet factory that can be exploited to trigger a panic with Pion based SFU via crafted RTP packets, This only affect users that use pion/interceptor. Users should upgrade to v0.1.39 or later, which validates that: `padLen > 0 && padLen <= payloadLength` and return error on overflow, avoiding panic. If upgrading is not possible, apply the patch from the pull request manually or drop packets whose P-bit is set but whose padLen is zero or larger than the remaining payload.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: smartpqi: Use is_kdump_kernel() to check for kdump The smartpqi driver checks the reset_devices variable to determine whether special adjustments need to be made for kdump. This has the effect that after a regular kexec reboot, some driver parameters such as max_transfer_size are much lower than usual. More importantly, kexec reboot tests have revealed memory corruption caused by the driver log being written to system memory after a kexec. Fix this by testing is_kdump_kernel() rather than reset_devices where appropriate.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: xilinx_uartps: split sysrq handling lockdep detects the following circular locking dependency: CPU 0 CPU 1 ========================== ============================ cdns_uart_isr() printk() uart_port_lock(port) console_lock() cdns_uart_console_write() if (!port->sysrq) uart_port_lock(port) uart_handle_break() port->sysrq = ... uart_handle_sysrq_char() printk() console_lock() The fixed commit attempts to avoid this situation by only taking the port lock in cdns_uart_console_write if port->sysrq unset. However, if (as shown above) cdns_uart_console_write runs before port->sysrq is set, then it will try to take the port lock anyway. This may result in a deadlock. Fix this by splitting sysrq handling into two parts. We use the prepare helper under the port lock and defer handling until we release the lock.

  • Feb 12, 2025ConvertPlus: Unauthorized modification of data that can lead to a denial of serviceCVE-2024-13800 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The ConvertPlus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to a denial of service due to a missing capability check on the 'cp_dismiss_notice' AJAX endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.30. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update option values to '1' on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update an option that would create an error on the site and deny service to legitimate users or be used to set some values to true such as registration.

In hostapd 2.10 and earlier, the PKEX code remains active even after a successful PKEX association. An attacker that successfully bootstrapped public keys with another entity using PKEX in the past, will be able to subvert a future bootstrapping by passively observing public keys, re-using the encrypting element Qi and subtracting it from the captured message M (X = M - Qi). This will result in the public ephemeral key X; the only element required to subvert the PKEX association.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
