  • Oct 10, 2026PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-104801 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the rename_files function in all versions up to, and including, 34.0.10 This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The relocated file is moved byte-identically into the publicly accessible wp-content/uploads/ppom_files/confirmed/ directory, meaning the attack also results in arbitrary file read for any web-readable file on the server.

  • Oct 10, 2026FV Player 8: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-83526 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The FV Player 8 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 8.1.7 via the check_mimetype function. This is due to insufficient file type validation in check_mimetype(), which writes attacker-supplied remote file content to the public uploads directory before any MIME or extension check, combined with a missing capability check on new player creation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This requires successfully exploiting a race condition, and is only exploitable if the '[fvplayer_editor]' shortcode is present, or the "Enable profile videos" setting is enabled.

  • Oct 10, 2026Extensions For CF7 (Contact form 7 Database, Conditional Fields and Redirection): Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-94589 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Extensions For CF7 (Contact form 7 Database, Conditional Fields and Redirection) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.5 via the extcf7_submit function. This is due to missing file extension, MIME type, and size validation in the signature field's validation_filter(), combined with the absence of PHP-execution guards in the upload directory and a sanitize_file_name() bypass that converts shell.php- into shell.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible.

  • Oct 8, 2026Bricksforge: Unauthenticated arbitrary file uploadCVE-2026-85097 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Bricksforge plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthenticated arbitrary file upload in versions up to, and including, 3.1.8.9. This is due to insufficient validation of the attacker-controlled URL field in the 'temporaryFileUploads' parameter during form submission. An unauthenticated attacker can first obtain a valid nonce via the bricksforge_regenerate_nonce AJAX endpoint, then upload a GIF/PHP polyglot file to the temporary upload directory where MIME type validation is correctly performed. Subsequently, the attacker can submit a form with a crafted 'temporaryFileUploads' parameter where the server-side file path points to the validated GIF file, but the attacker-controlled url field ends with a .php extension. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server.

    Product

Affects up to 3.1.8.9. Update Bricksforge to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 8, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Arbitrary Directory DeletionCVE-2026-17609 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Directory Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316 via the submit_form function. This is due to insufficient validation of attacker-controlled JSON field declarations against the actual form schema, combined with a non-effective ABSPATH guard that dirname() trivially bypasses by stripping the trailing slash. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to recursively delete arbitrary directories on the server, including the WordPress root directory. Exploitation requires that an administrator has enabled the 'Delete files from server after form submissions' setting, though this is a documented and commonly-enabled feature.

The The Beaver Builder Page Builder – Drag and Drop Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.11.0.5. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. • Oct 3, 2026The WP Ultimate Review: Arbitrary shortcode executionCVE-2026-103519 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The The WP Ultimate Review plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The bypass relies on WordPress's own strip_shortcodes() function unwrapping the [[tag]] double-bracket escape to a bare [tag] that survives wp_insert_post storage and fires when the publicly queryable xs_review post type is rendered through the_content.

The The WP Ultimate Review plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The nonce required to pass the only gate is emitted to unauthenticated visitors via the public review form, and submitted shortcode payloads are auto-published without admin approval by default, meaning exploitation requires no account and no privileged interaction.

  • Oct 3, 2026Photo Reviews for WooCommerce: Arbitrary Content DeletionCVE-2026-101923 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Photo Reviews for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Content Deletion in versions up to, and including, 1.2.30. This is due to the plugin storing attacker-controlled post IDs from the wcpr_image_upload_id parameter of a public review submission into the review's reviews-images comment meta without verifying that the IDs correspond to attachments owned by the submitter, combined with the delete_reviews_image() handler unconditionally calling wp_delete_post( $id, true ) on every stored ID when the review is deleted. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete arbitrary posts, pages, products, or media attachments on the site whenever an administrator subsequently deletes the attacker's review (or when WordPress's built-in wp_scheduled_delete cron empties the comment trash after 30 days).

CodeArt Google MP3 Audio Player plugin (google-mp3-audio-player) for WordPress through 1.0.11 contains an unauthenticated arbitrary file read vulnerability that allows remote attackers to retrieve sensitive files by supplying a path-traversal payload in the file parameter of direct_download.php. Attackers can request paths ../../wp-config.php without authentication to download configuration files containing database credentials and secret keys, leading to full site compromise. • Oct 2, 2026Ninja Forms - File Uploads: Arbitrary file operationsCVE-2026-92820 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file operations in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.34 via the external (Amazon S3) upload flow. The plugin trusts an attacker-supplied file path from the form submission and stores it as the upload's file_path, which is then used without validation to attach a file to the form's notification email (arbitrary file read), to write fetched content (arbitrary file write, leading to remote code execution when the external store is configured), and in a scheduled deletion (arbitrary file deletion). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read, write, or delete arbitrary files on the server. Exploitation requires the site to use the plugin's External File Upload (Amazon S3) action; the read variant additionally requires a form Email action configured to attach the uploaded file.

  • Oct 1, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Arbitrary File/Directory DeletionCVE-2026-15983 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File/Directory Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316. This is due to the `super_save_form` AJAX handler performing no capability check — allowing Subscriber-level authenticated users to create or modify Super Forms and enable the `file_upload_submission_delete` setting — combined with the `super_submit_form` handler's `submit_form` function passing the attacker-controlled `files[].subdir` value from `$_POST['data']` directly into `SUPER_Common::delete_dir()` without sanitization, and a trivially bypassed `ABSPATH` guard that a `subdir` value of `wp-config.php` defeats because `dirname(realpath(ABSPATH . $subdir))` resolves to the WordPress root while the naive `ABSPATH !== $dir` string check fails to match due to a trailing-slash mismatch. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to recursively delete arbitrary files and directories on the server, up to and including the entire WordPress installation, resulting in full site takedown and potential remote code execution if critical files such as `wp-config.php` are removed and

  • Sep 26, 2026Request a Quote for WooCommerce: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-18143 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Request a Quote for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.2 via the `afrfq_submit_quote_via_popup()` function. This is due to missing file extension and MIME type validation in the popup upload handler, which uses the raw attacker-supplied filename directly as the destination for `move_uploaded_file()`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload executable files, such as PHP files, to a web-accessible temporary RFQ upload directory when a public quote rule with the multi-page popup flow is enabled.

  • Sep 25, 2026Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-92713 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the upload_image function in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server. The path restriction to wp-content/uploads is not an effective ownership boundary, as all user attachment files reside within that tree, and Authors trivially satisfy the edit_post check on their own galleries.

  • Sep 25, 2026Link Library: Does not validate the destination of a user-supplied URL before falling back to an unprotected fetchCVE-2026-78397 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 4

The Link Library WordPress plugin before 7.9.6 does not validate the destination of a user-supplied URL before falling back to an unprotected fetch when its safe request is rejected, allowing unauthenticated visitors to make the site issue requests to hosts on its internal network and to learn from the response whether an internal service answered. Versions below 7.8.8 are covered by CVE-2025-68600; this entry covers 7.8.8 through 7.9.5, where that fix was incomplete. Exploitation requires the site owner to have published the Link Library WordPress plugin before 7.9.6's public link submission form with reciprocal-link validation enabled.

The Link Library WordPress plugin before 7.9.6 does not sanitize a user-supplied destination folder before writing a generated image to disk, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to create directories and write or overwrite image files anywhere the web server can write, including outside the site's document root. The written file name is always numeric with a fixed image extension, so executable code cannot be planted this way.

  • Sep 18, 2026Save as PDF Plugin by PDFCrowd: Arbitrary Function InvocationCVE-2026-92807 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Save as PDF Plugin by PDFCrowd plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Function Invocation in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.1 via the `pdf_created_callback` shortcode attribute. The `eval_shortcode()` function copies any non-`button_`/non-`email_` shortcode attribute verbatim into a custom options array without sanitization, allowlist enforcement, or capability checks, and `create_button()` AES-encrypts that array — including the attacker-supplied callback value — and embeds the resulting blob in the rendered button HTML; when the blob is later POSTed to the unauthenticated `wp_ajax_nopriv_save_as_pdf_pdfcrowd` endpoint, `save_as_pdf_pdfcrowd()` decrypts it and invokes `$options['pdf_created_callback']` as a PHP callable at line 1722 with no `is_callable()` guard, no allowlist, and no capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to invoke arbitrary PHP functions or static class methods with plugin option data as the sole argument, enabling disclosure of the site's stored PDFCrowd API key and username or further server-side abuse. Note that the encryption boundary does not mitigate this vector bec

  • Sep 18, 2026WP Recipe Maker: Arbitrary Shortcode ExecutionCVE-2026-89274 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The WP Recipe Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution in all versions up to, and including, 10.8.1. The vulnerability exists because `WPRM_Metadata::sanitize_metadata()` recursively calls `do_shortcode()` on every scalar field of the recipe's structured metadata array — including the `reviewBody` field, which is populated verbatim from the `comment_content` of approved `wprm-comment-rating` comments — without sanitizing or stripping shortcode tokens before execution; the subsequent `wp_strip_all_tags()` and `strip_shortcodes()` calls operate only on the output string after execution has already fully occurred, providing no protection against server-side shortcode invocation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary registered WordPress shortcodes server-side on every recipe page render, causing shortcode output — such as attachment captions, private post fields, or other data exposed by installed shortcodes — to be embedded in the page's JSON-LD `reviewBody` metadata and disclosed to all visitors who load the recipe page. Successful exploitation requires the attacker's rated comment to pass the site's comment approv

  • Sep 18, 2026Gravity Forms: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-84434 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.0.4 via the upload_file function. This is due to a mismatch between the field validation pipeline and the file persistence pipeline, where hidden file upload fields bypass extension validation and a rejected file's intact upload state is later passed to upload_file() without re-validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Exploitation requires the targeted form to contain a File Upload field with its Visibility set to 'Hidden'; the vulnerability is reachable by unauthenticated attackers on any publicly accessible form meeting this condition.

  • Sep 18, 2026The WP Cloud Plugins Use-your-Drive, Out-of-the-Box, Share-one-Drive, and Lets-Box plugins for WordPress are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versionsCVE-2026-93031 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The WP Cloud Plugins Use-your-Drive, Out-of-the-Box, Share-one-Drive, and Lets-Box plugins for WordPress are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions from 2.0 up to, and including, 3.8.3 via the download_file_to_uploads function. This is due to the import action being registered for unauthenticated users via wp_ajax_nopriv_, a missing capability check in can_import(), and the imported file's extension and contents not being validated against get_allowed_mime_types() before it is written to the uploads directory. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible.

  • Sep 18, 2026Mapster WP Maps: Arbitrary User Meta WriteCVE-2026-12954 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Mapster WP Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary User Meta Write in all versions up to, and including, 1.23.0 via the `my_profile_update()` function. This is due to the function performing no nonce verification, no capability check, and no allowlist validation on the meta key supplied via the `acf-photo-gallery-groups` POST parameter before passing both the meta key and its corresponding value directly to `update_user_meta()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary user meta values, though privilege escalation is not possible.
