  • Oct 31, 2026Webmention: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111109 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The Webmention plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Open Graph og:title meta tag of a webmention source URL in versions up to, and including, 5.10.1. This is due to insufficient input sanitization: Meta::add_properties() maps og:title to the Item::name property, but Item has no concrete set_name() method, so Item::__call() stores the value raw while sibling set_content()/set_summary() paths route through webmention_sanitize_html(); Item::get_content() then falls back to the raw name when content and summary are empty, and Receiver::process() explicitly removes the core wp_filter_kses / wp_filter_post_kses hooks on pre_comment_content before calling wp_new_comment(), so the payload is persisted to comment_content as-is. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, after an administrator approves the resulting pending webmention comment. Successful exploitation additionally requires an action by an administrator — the attacker cannot trigger the vulnerability on their own.

    Product
    Webmention
    Affected
    up to 5.10.1
    What to do
Affects up to 5.10.1. Update Webmention to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 31, 2026Photo Reviews for WooCommerce: Unauthorized Media Library File DeletionCVE-2026-110251 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Photo Reviews for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized Media Library File Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.31. This is due to the `delete_reviews_image()` function's `delete_comment` hook trusting attachment IDs supplied via the `wcpr_image_upload_id` POST parameter that were stored in comment meta without any ownership or capability check — `viwcpr_filter_review_image_ids()` verifies only that each submitted ID refers to an attachment post type, not that the submitter uploaded or owns it. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete any WordPress media library attachment — including its files on disk as recorded by `wp_delete_attachment()` — by embedding attacker-chosen attachment IDs into a review comment, then waiting for a moderator to remove the review or for WordPress core's `wp_scheduled_delete` cron to purge it after `EMPTY_TRASH_DAYS`. The nonce required to submit the parameter (`wcpr_image_upload`) is a shared public value printed on every product page for guest commenters and does not function as an authentication barrier, making this trivially exploitable without any account.

    Affected
    up to 1.2.31
    What to do
Affects up to 1.2.31. Update Photo Reviews for WooCommerce to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 31, 2026Hustle – Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optins, Popups: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-109386 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Hustle – Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optins, Popups plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 7.8.14.3. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to overwrite the site's active ESP integration credentials (AWeber, Constant Contact, Infusionsoft, ConvertKit, or HubSpot API keys) with attacker-controlled values — diverting all subsequent Hustle form lead submissions to the attacker's ESP tenant — and, for HubSpot, irreversibly delete the operator's OAuth token, OAuth referer, and OAuth current-page option rows. This requires the attacker to hold the plugin-granted hustle_create capability (e.g., an Editor delegated hustle_create but not hustle_edit_integrations via Hustle's Permissions tab), which allows them to load a Hustle module wizard page and obtain the hustle_provider_action nonce needed to reach the vulnerable handlers.

  • Oct 31, 2026PDF Invoice for WooCommerce + Drag and Drop Template Builder: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-109220 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The PDF Invoice for WooCommerce + Drag and Drop Template Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 7.1.1 via the 'customer_note' parameter parameter. This is due to insufficient sanitization of the customer_note checkout field, which is inlined verbatim into invoice HTML, entity-decoded back into a live tag by simplehtmldom, reassembled into raw bytes by mPDF, and passed to unserialize() in _getObjAttr without validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger the vulnerable code path on a default install by placing an anonymous WooCommerce checkout via the public Store API (POST /wc/store/v1/checkout) using a Direct Bank Transfer or cheque payment method, which automatically transitions the order to 'on-hold' status and fires the plugin's invoice-generation hook.

    Product
PDF Invoice for WooCommerce + Drag and Drop Template Builder
    Affected

    What to do
Affects up to 7.1.1. Update PDF Invoice for WooCommerce + Drag and Drop Template Builder to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 31, 2026PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-109217 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.16.5 via the 'invoice_number (via document filename)' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract another customer's complete invoice PDF — including billing identity, shipping address, private order notes, line items, prices, dates, order ID, and invoice number — delivered directly to the attacker's email as an order confirmation attachment. Exploitation requires the plugin's yearly invoice number reset option to be enabled, and the attacker's guest-checkout order must trigger a processing email within 60 seconds of a victim order that shares the same yearly-reset invoice number.

    Product
PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce
    Affected
    up to 5.16.5
    What to do
Affects up to 5.16.5. Update PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 31, 2026Discussion Board – WordPress Forum: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107765 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Discussion Board – WordPress Forum Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.6.0 via the user profile Website (user_url) field. This is due to insufficient output escaping in the ctdb_filter_comment_author_name() callback hooked to get_comment_author_link, which interpolates the raw user_url value into a single-quoted href attribute without esc_url() or esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses a Discussion Board topic containing the attacker's reply.

    Product
    Discussion Board – WordPress Forum
    Affected
    up to 2.6.0

Affects up to 2.6.0. Update Discussion Board – WordPress Forum to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 31, 2026PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107750 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'billing_address.first_name / last_name / company, customer_note' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.16.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-92244: the wp_kses() allow-list introduced in 5.16.2 correctly blocks raw-tag payloads but is bypassed by entity-encoded payloads (e.g., <img onerror=…>) that contain no literal angle-bracket characters and are therefore passed through unmodified before the trailing decode rematerializes them.

    What to do
Affects up to 5.16.4. Update PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 31, 2026SureCart – Ecommerce Made Easy For Selling Physical Products, Digital Downloads, Subscriptions, Donations, & Payments: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107653 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The SureCart – Ecommerce Made Easy For Selling Physical Products, Digital Downloads, Subscriptions, Donations, & Payments plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful execution requires the injected comment to be visible on a page that loads SureCart's web-component bundle (e.g. a page containing a SureCart Buy Button block), and the comment must be auto-approved or approved by a moderator.

  • Oct 31, 2026Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes – NextGEN Gallery: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-116563 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes – NextGEN Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the site to have Shutter or Shutter Reloaded selected as the active lightbox, and the injected comment must be approved through WordPress's standard moderation workflow before the payload is rendered to other visitors.

  • Oct 31, 2026PPWP – Password Protect Pages: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-116520 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The PPWP – Password Protect Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment / shortcode attribute desc_below_form (and placeholder as the marker-smuggling helper)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.26 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by unauthenticated attackers because WordPress's comment_content filter leaves bare shortcode text (containing no HTML tags) untouched, and the comment_whitelist setting auto-approves subsequent comments from a previously approved name and email without administrator intervention.

  • Oct 31, 2026Essential Addons for Elementor: Does not correctly restrict who may set the role assigned to accounts created through its registration formCVE-2026-110808 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScan

The Essential Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin before 6.8.8 does not correctly restrict who may set the role assigned to accounts created through its registration form, allowing authenticated users with Author-level access and above to cause newly registered accounts, including those created by unauthenticated visitors through the public registration form, to be granted a higher role such as Editor. This is an incomplete fix of CVE-2026-5193: the role-validation control added in 6.6.0 can be circumvented by a lower-privileged user, so versions 6.6.0 through 6.8.7 remain affected even on sites that are patched against that advisory.

  • Oct 31, 2026Ninja Forms – Contact Form Builder with Calculators, Quizzes, Signatures & AI Form Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109997 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Ninja Forms – Contact Form Builder with Calculators, Quizzes, Signatures & AI Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'formData.extra' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The nf_ajax_submit endpoint issues a valid nonce to any requester on failure, effectively neutralizing the nonce check and making exploitation trivially achievable in a single unauthenticated request.

  • Oct 31, 2026Meow Lightbox: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109234 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Meow Lightbox plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post_content (bbPress reply body)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.6.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the administrator to have enabled Output Buffering, the HtmlDomParser engine, and Aggressive Resolve, as well as a stored-HTML submission surface (such as bbPress anonymous replies) whose kses allow-list preserves img attributes; given these preconditions, a one-shot unauthenticated submission can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of any user who views the affected page.

  • Oct 31, 2026The Ninja Forms – Contact Form Builder with Calculators, Quizzes, Signatures & AI Form Builder: Arbitrary shortcode executionCVE-2026-101326 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The The Ninja Forms – Contact Form Builder with Calculators, Quizzes, Signatures & AI Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.5 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. Exploitation requires that an administrator has configured at least one Ninja Forms field with its Default Value set to the {wp:user_display_name} merge tag on a publicly accessible page; a Subscriber need only set their display_name to a shortcode string via their profile and then visit that page.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
