  • Oct 5, 2026Plane is an open-source project management tool.CVE-2026-104961 · Other software · makeplane · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, WorkspaceOwnerPermission does not require is_active=True when checking whether a user is a workspace owner. A deactivated user can therefore remain authorized as the workspace owner and retain owner-level access. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.

  • Oct 5, 2026Plane is an open-source project management tool.CVE-2026-104960 · Other software · makeplane · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, Plane exposes the workspace-scoped GET /api/assets/v2/workspaces/{workspace_slug}/download/{asset_id}/ endpoint for project-bound FileAsset objects without enforcing access to the asset's owning project. An authenticated user who belongs to the same workspace, is not a member of the victim's secret project, and knows the target asset UUID can receive a 302 redirect to a signed download URL. The intended project-scoped route for the same asset correctly returns 403. Confirmed affected project-bound asset types are ISSUE_ATTACHMENT, COMMENT_DESCRIPTION, PAGE_DESCRIPTION, and PROJECT_COVER. This bypass exposes private file content protected by the secret project boundary. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.

  • Oct 5, 2026Plane is an open-source project management tool.CVE-2026-104956 · Other software · makeplane · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, the unauthenticated public issues endpoint accepts group_by and sub_group_by query parameters and passes them without an allowlist to grouped paginators, where they are used as ORM field names by F(field), .values(field), .order_by(field), and Window partition_by operations. An anonymous attacker can supply arbitrary field paths that trigger an unhandled FieldError or KeyError and an HTTP 500 response, or force the ORM to resolve __-separated relational paths as a blind traversal oracle. This is the same field-name injection class addressed by earlier order_by sanitization, but that remediation left group_by and sub_group_by unvalidated. The issue does not directly disclose column values because issue_group_values() returns an empty list for unknown fields, the result projection uses a fixed required_fields list, and the subgrouped path raises KeyError before serialization. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.

  • Oct 5, 2026Plane is an open-source project management tool.CVE-2026-104955 · Other software · makeplane · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, a Project Member with role 15 can send a PATCH request to the project-member update endpoint at /api/workspaces/{workspace_slug}/projects/{project_id}/members/{member_pk}/ to change another user's project role. The role-update logic blocks only a new role higher than the requester's role, so assigning the equal Member role bypasses the insufficient validation and promotes a Project Guest with role 5 to Member without Project Admin approval. This unauthorized promotion grants the guest the additional project capabilities associated with the Member role and allows a regular member to bypass project governance controls. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.

  • Oct 5, 2026Plane is an open-source project management tool.CVE-2026-104893 · Other software · makeplane · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, GET /api/users/api-tokens/ allows an authenticated user to retrieve API-token records, while PATCH /api/users/api-tokens/{token_id}/ allows the user to modify the token's allowed_rate_limit field without server-side validation or a maximum value. A user can raise the limit arbitrarily and bypass intended API rate-limiting controls, enabling high-volume automated requests, backend resource abuse, and possible resource exhaustion. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.

  • Sep 28, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-100392 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubHigh 7

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. In version 1.7.2, Users::form() performs no object-level authorization check on user_id = 1. A Secondary Administrator (user_type = 1, user_id != 1) can rewrite the Primary Administrator's user_type to 2 (Guest / read-only), destroying the root account's privilege and locking the legitimate owner out of the instance. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

  • Sep 28, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-100371 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. In version 1.7.2, an authorization guard to Users::change_password(), was added to address a previous authorization flaw that allowed a secondary administrator (user_type=1, user_id != 1) to directly change the password of the primary administrator (user_id=1) through users/change_password/{id}. That remediation, however, protects only the direct password-change operation. It does not protect the identity attribute that password recovery actually trusts: user_email. Users::form() applies no equivalent object-level authorization check when editing the primary administrator's account, and user_email is not included in PROTECTED_FIELDS. A secondary administrator can therefore rewrite the primary administrator's email address, then drive the public password-recovery flow — which resolves the account by user_email — to receive the reset token and take over user_id=1. The result is an alternate attack path that achieves the same impact PR #1638 was intended to prevent: cross-administrator full account takeover of the primary administrator. This issue has been patched via commit 8616fa4.

  • Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-88003 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane fails to revoke administrative privileges after a role downgrade because Admin_Controller trusts the user_type snapshot stored in an existing session instead of revalidating ip_users.user_type. When one administrator downgrades another account, the target's active session continues to authorize administrative requests. The downgraded user can use Users::form() to set user_type back to 1, restoring the database role and making the privilege escalation persistent. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.2.

  • Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-85293 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. In version 1.7.2-beta-1, InvoicePlane stores client_email values without enforcing email syntax and renders them unescaped inside double-quoted value attributes in the invoice mailer form and quote mailer form. An administrator who can edit a client can store attribute-breaking input, and, when the mailer is configured, JavaScript executes when another authenticated administrator opens the related mailer page. The script runs in the InvoicePlane origin and can perform same-origin actions with the victim's session. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's User_Controller compares the session user_type value with the required role by using PHP's loose inequality operator. Under a non-standard session backend that returns unexpected scalar types, type juggling can cause a value that is not strictly the required role to pass the authorization check. This can permit authentication or authorization bypass in affected session configurations. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Users::change_password() method accepts a user_id from the URL and updates that account's password without an object-level authorization check. An authenticated secondary administrator can target the primary administrator account and replace its password without knowing the current password. The attacker can then take over the primary account and access its data and privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Cron::recur() method writes an invalid cron key from the URL path directly to the application log without neutralizing CRLF characters. An unauthenticated requester can place forged log lines into the audit trail by supplying a crafted cron_key value. The injected entries can corrupt forensic records and interfere with log-based monitoring. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane omits ensure_valid_post_request() from delete methods including Payments::delete(), Recurring::delete(), and User_clients::delete(). Although the routes require POST, they do not validate the request's CSRF token. An attacker can submit a cross-origin form through an authenticated administrator's browser to delete financial records and other application data. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane exposes Recurring::stop() as a state-changing GET route without CSRF token validation. InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane stores an administrator-controlled custom_field_table value without validating it against the allowed custom-field table names. Mdl_custom_fields::used() later concatenates that stored value into the FROM table and WHERE column identifier positions, so opening the custom-field edit form executes a second-order SQL injection. The injection can query arbitrary schema data and can cause application errors or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Invoices::generate_xml() method appends a database-derived xml_id to the XMLconfigs helper directory and includes the resulting PHP path without validating the identifier. A low-privileged attacker who can influence the e-invoice configuration can use traversal sequences to include an existing PHP file. The standalone advisory establishes local file inclusion; code execution requires a separate file-upload or file-write primitive. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2-rc-1, InvoicePlane builds its permitted template list by scanning a PHP template directory that can be written through an administrator-controlled file-write capability. A malicious PHP file placed in the directory is automatically trusted by Mdl_templates and can be selected as public_invoice_template. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: validate plane degamma LUT size for private color prop Unlike the CRTC degamma path, which is guarded by amdgpu_dm_verify_lut_sizes(), the per-plane degamma LUT size was never validated before use. __set_dm_plane_degamma() passed the user-supplied size straight into __is_lut_linear() and, for a non-linear LUT, into __set_input_tf() -> __drm_lut_to_dc_gamma(), the latter always iterating MAX_COLOR_LUT_ENTRIES entries regardless of the actual LUT size. A malformed AMD_PLANE_DEGAMMA_LUT blob (e.g. a single entry) could thus trigger a divide-by-zero in __is_lut_linear() or an out-of-bounds read in __drm_lut_to_dc_gamma(). Reject any plane degamma LUT whose size does not match MAX_COLOR_LUT_ENTRIES, mirroring the invariant the code already asserts a few lines below (and which the CRTC path enforces). The AMD_PLANE_DEGAMMA_LUT property is only exposed on builds with AMD_PRIVATE_COLOR defined.

Insufficient HTML sanitization in the Publisher Portal and Developer Portal allows untrusted user input to be rendered without proper encoding or neutralization. This enables the injection and execution of malicious JavaScript when affected API documents are viewed. Successful exploitation may result in the execution of malicious scripts within the user's browser context when viewing API documentation. Users with permissions to access the API documentation through these portals may be impacted, potentially allowing attackers to perform actions on behalf of the user, depending on their session privileges.

The product's web portals allow external links to be opened in a new browser tab. In certain configurations, the originating window retains access to the newly opened page, allowing interaction between the two browser contexts when navigating to external destinations. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to manipulate the original trusted application window after a user clicks a malicious external link. This manipulation can lead to users being redirected to phishing pages, enabling credential theft, or facilitating other unauthorized actions within the context of the trusted site.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. From version 0.6.0 to before version 0.7.2, non-admin operators (role user) can set allow_private: true on their own managed webhook subscription (POST/PATCH /api/v1/webhook-subscriptions). No admin check exists on this field. At delivery time, allow_private switches the dispatcher to an unguarded HTTP client, bypassing the private/loopback/link-local SSRF guard — letting a low-privilege operator make the server request internal addresses. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.2.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.7.1, revocation is the only in-band mechanism that isolates a compromised/offboarded host from a Nebula mesh. Because the blocklist never reaches any peer's config.yml, a Blocked host retains full overlay reachability to every peer under its CA (and internal services on the mesh) for up to 30d (agent) / 365d (mobile). An attacker who exfiltrates host.key+host.crt can run stock slackhq/nebula directly, ignore the agent's 403/410 poll responses, and stay connected after the operator revokes the host. Operator-visible state (UI shows blocked, audit log records it) is misleading. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.1.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. From version 0.3.0 to before version 0.5.0, the nebula-mgmt Web UI host-creation path ignores both the server-wide enrollment_token_ttl security setting and per-network network_config.enrollment_token_ttl overrides. API host creation and token-regeneration paths use the configured TTL resolver, but POST /ui/hosts hardcodes now.Add(24 * time.Hour) for newly minted agent enrollment tokens. In deployments that intentionally reduce enrollment-token lifetime, any authenticated operator who can create a host through the Web UI can still mint a bearer enrollment token valid for about 24 hours. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.0.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. From version 0.2.0 to before version 0.5.0, when OIDC is enabled, GET /ui/oidc/login is reachable without authentication and is registered outside the Web UI rate-limited auth routes. Every request creates a fresh random OIDC state value and stores it in an in-memory map for 10m. Expired states are swept lazily, but there is no rate limit or maximum live-state cap on the allocation path. An unauthenticated remote client can therefore grow OIDC.states for the full state TTL, bounded by request throughput rather than by configured auth rate limits. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.0.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.8, the web handler renderMobileBundle passes the real *pki.CAResolver directly into mobilebundle.Build. Inside Build, resolver.LoadByID decrypts the CA's ed25519 private key into a *pki.CAManager, but Build never calls CAManager.Wipe() on any return path. As a result, when a mobile-bundle request goes through the web UI and Build returns — especially on error (missing network, invalid prefix, DB error, signing failure) — the plaintext CA private key remains on the Go heap, unwiped, until garbage collection. An attacker able to read process memory (core dump, swap, memory-scraping) can recover the CA signing key, which would allow minting arbitrary host certificates for the mesh. The API handler already does this correctly: it loads the CAManager, defer caMgr.Wipe(), and wraps it in caManagerResolver. Only the web path is affected. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.8.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.8, Operator session tokens are stored in plaintext in the operator_sessions table (the token column is the PRIMARY KEY). nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.7, two related authorization gaps let a host that should no longer be trusted obtain a fresh, valid Nebula certificate, because nebula-mgmt does not re-evaluate revocation/authorization state at certificate issuance time — only at poll time. Firstly, the blocklist is not enforced at sign / re-enroll time. internal/api/enroll.go:128 calls caMgr.Sign(...) without consulting the blocklist. The blocklist is only checked in the poll path (internal/api/updates.go:57, fingerprintInBlocklist). The blocklist is keyed by certificate fingerprint (internal/store/sqlite.go), so a re-enrollment produces a new fingerprint that is not in the blocklist. Secondly, renewal does not re-validate operator / CA status. Auto-renewal at poll time (internal/api/updates.go:285-319, signHostCert) reads host.Name, host.Groups, host.NebulaIPs from the DB and re-signs without checking whether the owning operator is still active or the CA still valid. DisableOperator (internal/store/sqlite_operators.go) revokes sessions and API keys but does not retire the operator's CAs, and pki/signer.go checks only CA cert time-expiry, n

  • Aug 28, 2026Zephyr's WireGuard VPN data-plane receive handler wg_process_data_message() in subsys/net/lib/wireguard/wg_crypto.c validated the anti-replay counter too late.CVE-2026-13734 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.5

Zephyr's WireGuard VPN data-plane receive handler wg_process_data_message() in subsys/net/lib/wireguard/wg_crypto.c validated the anti-replay counter too late. After AEAD decryption of a MESSAGE_TRANSPORT_DATA packet succeeded, the code committed several peer-state changes — update_peer_addr() (endpoint roaming update), the keypair->last_rx/peer->last_rx liveness timers, and keypair_update() (promote next→current and destroy the previous keypair) — and only afterward called wg_check_replay(). On a replayed packet the replay check returned -EINVAL, but none of the preceding mutations were rolled back. The AEAD tag authenticates content but not freshness, so a replayed-but-authentic transport packet decrypts correctly. An attacker who captures one valid ciphertext off the wire (an on-path or shared-medium observer) can re-inject it from an arbitrary spoofed source address. Reaching the handler requires no credentials: it is driven directly from inbound UDP datagrams via the dispatch in subsys/net/lib/wireguard/wg.c. Because the state mutations committed before the replay check, the replay repoints the peer endpoint to the attacker-chosen source address (roaming hijack), redirecting
