Aug 25, 2026Doorkeeper is an OAuth 2 provider for Ruby on Rails.CVE-2026-44476 · Other software · doorkeeper-gem · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
Doorkeeper is an OAuth 2 provider for Ruby on Rails. In version 1.9.0, an attacker who knows only a dynamically registered client's client_id, which is public information, can authenticate as that client at the token endpoint and obtain an access token without providing its client_secret. This occurs because the Dynamic Client Registration feature creates applications with confidential: false hard-coded, even though the registration response returns a client_secret and advertises support for the client_secret_basic and client_secret_post authentication methods; since Doorkeeper treats a blank or missing secret as valid for non-confidential (public) clients, the secret is never verified. Only projects that have explicitly enabled Dynamic Client Registration, which is disabled by default, are affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.10.0.

Aug 21, 2026mod_auth_openidc is an OpenID Certified authentication and authorization module for the Apache 2.x HTTP server that implements the OpenID Connect Relying Party CVE-2026-54789 · Other software · OpenIDC · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
mod_auth_openidc is an OpenID Certified authentication and authorization module for the Apache 2.x HTTP server that implements the OpenID Connect Relying Party functionality. Prior to 2.4.19.4, an out-of-bounds read and a one-byte out-of-bounds write exist in the state-cookie parser of `mod_auth_openidc`. The issue is fixed in version 2.4.19.4 by stopping the scan at the string terminator so a value-less token is rejected. No in-product workarounds are available. As a stop-gap, an upstream reverse proxy or WAF that rejects or normalizes malformed `Cookie` headers (tokens lacking `=`) can reduce exposure, but upgrading is the recommended remediation.

Aug 13, 2026OpenDJ is an LDAPv3 compliant directory service.CVE-2026-73644 · Other software · OpenIdentityPlatform · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6
OpenDJ is an LDAPv3 compliant directory service. Prior to 5.1.2, the SASL PLAIN authorization identity path in opendj-server-legacy/src/main/java/org/opends/server/extensions/PlainSASLMechanismHandler.java checked the PROXIED_AUTH privilege but did not evaluate the mayProxy proxy ACI scope when an authzid resolved to a different user. Both dn: and u: or bare authzid forms could therefore let an authenticated account holding PROXIED_AUTH assume any resolvable non-root identity outside the identities permitted by its proxy ACI. The fix returns INVALID_CREDENTIALS (49) before password verification when the target authorization identity is not permitted. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.2.

Aug 13, 2026Fulcio is a certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity.CVE-2026-49478 · Other software · sigstore · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Fulcio is a certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity. Versions through 1.8.5 improperly follow cross-host redirects and attach Kubernetes ServiceAccount tokens during OIDC discovery, allowing a malicious or compromised issuer to perform blind SSRF, substitute and cache malicious JWKS keys, or disclose ServiceAccount tokens to external hosts. Version 1.8.6 blocks cross-host redirects, restricts token injection, and restricts local token loading. No known workarounds are available.

The OpenID Connect Core 1.0 specification mandates that the RP MUST validate the `c_hash` parameter when operating in the Hybrid Flow. If an Apache CXF RP is integrated with a non-compliant or misconfigured Identity Provider (IdP) that omits the `c_hash`, the RP becomes vulnerable to Authorization Code Substitution/Injection attacks. Jul 31, 2026A flaw was found in the keycloak-services component of Keycloak, which handles OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication flows.CVE-2026-18209 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatLow 3.4
A flaw was found in the keycloak-services component of Keycloak, which handles OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication flows. The issue occurs because the security check designed to prevent HTTP parameter pollution only inspects the query portion of a redirect URL and ignores the fragment portion. When a client is configured with a wildcard redirect URI, an attacker can use this to inject duplicate security parameters into the login response. If a client application is not configured correctly, it might trust the attacker's injected data instead of the real security information from Keycloak, leading to session fixation or account confusion.

Jul 30, 2026Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization vulnerability in malach-it boruta (Elixir.Boruta.Openid module) allows attackers to register OpenID Connect clients wCVE-2026-65635 · Other software · malach-it · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.3
Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization vulnerability in malach-it boruta (Elixir.Boruta.Openid module) allows attackers to register OpenID Connect clients with administrative privileges through the dynamic client registration entry point. Boruta.Openid.register_client/3 forwards caller-supplied registration parameters to the administrative client creation path without a public/admin field-level allowlist, so an unauthenticated registrant can set security-sensitive attributes including supported grant types, authorized scopes, PKCE enforcement, public refresh and revocation behavior, token lifetimes, and signing settings. The library does not distinguish between metadata a public registrant is allowed to set and administrative controls that should require operator approval. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/boruta/openid.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Boruta.Openid':register_client/3, 'Elixir.Boruta.Openid':parse_registration_params/2. This issue affects boruta from 2.3.0 before 2.3.7.

Jul 30, 2026Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability in malach-it Boruta allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the OAuth/OpenID authorization server to issue CVE-2026-54885 · Other software · malach-it · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9
Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability in malach-it Boruta allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the OAuth/OpenID authorization server to issue outbound HTTP requests to attacker-chosen URIs, including internal services and cloud metadata endpoints. Three code paths fetch remote URIs supplied by the requester without sufficient validation of the target. Boruta.Oauth.Request.Base.fetch_unsigned_request/1 in lib/boruta/oauth/request/base.ex dereferences the OAuth request_uri parameter from the authorization request via Finch.build(:get, request_uri) |> Finch.request(OpenIDHttpClient). Boruta.Openid.parse_registration_params/2 in lib/boruta/openid.ex dereferences the jwks_uri supplied in an OpenID Connect dynamic client registration request. Boruta.Ecto.Clients.refresh_jwk_from_jwks_uri/1 in lib/boruta/adapters/ecto/clients.ex later refreshes the stored jwks_uri for an existing client. In all three paths the only validation is that the URI parses with a scheme (and one of the two request_uri clauses does not even restrict the scheme to http or https). The implementations do not require HTTPS, do not enforce a host or IP allowlist, do not reject loopback, private, link

Jul 20, 2026@beproduct/nestjs-auth is a NestJS authentication module for BeProduct IDS (Identity Server) with OpenID Connect support.CVE-2026-46412 · Other software · BeProduct · reported by GitHubCritical 10
@beproduct/nestjs-auth is a NestJS authentication module for BeProduct IDS (Identity Server) with OpenID Connect support. Between 2026-05-11 20:19 UTC and 22:56 UTC, an attacker used a compromised npm publish token to publish 18 malicious versions of `@beproduct/nestjs-auth` (0.1.2 through 0.1.19). Dapr Sentry's OIDC discovery endpoint derives the issuer and jwks_uri of the /.well-known/openid-configuration document from the request Host, honoring an attacker-controlled X-Forwarded-Host header without validation when no allowed-hosts list is configured (the default), and serves the document with a one-hour public cache lifetime. A remote unauthenticated attacker can poison the discovery document so relying parties performing dynamic (unpinned) discovery fetch the JWKS from an attacker-controlled server, causing attacker-signed JWTs to be accepted. Exploitation requires the OIDC server enabled without a configured jwt-issuer or oidc-allowed-hosts.

Jun 22, 2026Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers.CVE-2026-41479 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to 1.6.10 and 1.7.1, Authlib's OAuth 2.0 authorization endpoint can be turned into an unauthenticated open redirect when a request uses an unsupported response_type and supplies an attacker-controlled redirect_uri. The vulnerable behavior happens before client lookup and before any redirect URI validation. As a result, an attacker does not need a valid client registration, an authenticated user, or any prior state. A single request to the authorization endpoint is enough to obtain a 302 Location response to an arbitrary attacker-controlled URL. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.6.10 and 1.7.1.

Jun 11, 2026Boruta is a standalone authorization server that aims to implement OAuth 2.0 and Openid Connect up to decentralized identity specifications.CVE-2026-53661 · Other software · malach-it · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Boruta is a standalone authorization server that aims to implement OAuth 2.0 and Openid Connect up to decentralized identity specifications. Prior to version 0.9.1, boruta session cookies and the identity “remember me” cookie were set without the Secure attribute. In deployments where users could reach the same Boruta origin over plaintext HTTP, browsers could send these cookies over an unencrypted connection. An attacker able to observe or intercept that network traffic could recover a valid session or remember-me cookie and reuse it to impersonate the affected user. Affected components include boruta_web, boruta_identity, and boruta_admin. The affected cookies include the shared session cookie, defaulting to _boruta_web_key, and the identity remember-me cookie, defaulting to `_boruta_identity_web_user_remember_me`. The issue is fixed in commit 18691c655164635066aa113003a3cd87f6ed11cd, released as part of version 0.9.1. The patch sets `secure: true` and `same_site: "Lax"` on configured session cookies for boruta_web, boruta_identity, and boruta_admin, and sets `secure: true` on the identity remember-me cookie. Until upgrading to a release containing the fix: terminate or reject pl

Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.0.6, OpenIdentityPlatform OpenAM is vulnerable to pre-authentication Remote Code Execution (RCE) via unsafe Java deserialization of the jato.clientSession HTTP parameter. This bypasses the WhitelistObjectInputStream mitigation that was applied to the jato.pageSession parameter after CVE-2021-35464. An unauthenticated attacker can achieve arbitrary command execution on the server by sending a crafted serialized Java object as the jato.clientSession GET/POST parameter to any JATO ViewBean endpoint whose JSP contains <jato:form> tags (e.g., the Password Reset pages). Ory Polis, formerly known as BoxyHQ Jackson, bridges or proxies a SAML login flow to OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect. Versions prior to 26.2.0 contain a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Ory Polis's login functionality. The application improperly trusts a URL parameter (`callbackUrl`), which is passed to `router.push`. An attacker can craft a malicious link that, when opened by an authenticated user (or an unauthenticated user that later logs in), performs a client-side redirect and executes arbitrary JavaScript in the context of their browser. This could lead to credential theft, internal network pivoting, and unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the victim. Version 26.2.0 contains a patch for the issue.

Mar 26, 2026Ory Hydra is an OAuth 2.0 Server and OpenID Connect Provider.CVE-2026-33504 · Other software · ory · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Ory Hydra is an OAuth 2.0 Server and OpenID Connect Provider. Prior to version 26.2.0, the listOAuth2Clients, listOAuth2ConsentSessions, and listTrustedOAuth2JwtGrantIssuers Admin APIs in Ory Hydra are vulnerable to SQL injection due to flaws in its pagination implementation. Pagination tokens are encrypted using the secret configured in `secrets.pagination`. If this value is not set, Hydra falls back to using `secrets.system`. An attacker who knows this secret can craft their own tokens, including malicious tokens that lead to SQL injection. This issue can be exploited when one or more admin APIs listed above are directly or indirectly accessible to the attacker; the attacker can pass a raw pagination token to the affected API; and the configuration value `secrets.pagination` is set and known to the attacker, or `secrets.pagination` is not set and `secrets.system` is known to the attacker. An attacker can execute arbitrary SQL queries through forged pagination tokens. As a first line of defense, immediately configure a custom value for `secrets.pagination` by generating a cryptographically secure random secret. Next, upgrade Hydra to the fixed version, 26.2.0 as soon as possible.

Mar 16, 2026Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers.CVE-2026-28498 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.9, a library-level vulnerability was identified in the Authlib Python library concerning the validation of OpenID Connect (OIDC) ID Tokens. Specifically, the internal hash verification logic (_verify_hash) responsible for validating the at_hash (Access Token Hash) and c_hash (Authorization Code Hash) claims exhibits a fail-open behavior when encountering an unsupported or unknown cryptographic algorithm. This flaw allows an attacker to bypass mandatory integrity protections by supplying a forged ID Token with a deliberately unrecognized alg header parameter. The library intercepts the unsupported state and silently returns True (validation passed), inherently violating fundamental cryptographic design principles and direct OIDC specifications. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.9.

Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.9, a JWK Header Injection vulnerability in authlib's JWS implementation allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge arbitrary JWT tokens that pass signature verification. When key=None is passed to any JWS deserialization function, the library extracts and uses the cryptographic key embedded in the attacker-controlled JWT jwk header field. Jan 12, 2026Fulcio is a certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity.CVE-2026-22772 · Other software · sigstore · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8
Fulcio is a certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity. Prior to 1.8.5, Fulcio's metaRegex() function uses unanchored regex, allowing attackers to bypass MetaIssuer URL validation and trigger SSRF to arbitrary internal services. Since the SSRF only can trigger GET requests, the request cannot mutate state. The response from the GET request is not returned to the caller so data exfiltration is not possible. A malicious actor could attempt to probe an internal network through Blind SSRF. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.5.

Jan 8, 2026Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers.CVE-2025-68158 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. In versions 1.0.0 through 1.6.5, cache-backed state/request-token storage is not tied to the initiating user session, so CSRF is possible for any attacker that has a valid state (easily obtainable via an attacker-initiated authentication flow). When a cache is supplied to the OAuth client registry, FrameworkIntegration.set_state_data writes the entire state blob under _state_{app}_{state}, and get_state_data ignores the caller’s session altogether. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.6.

Dec 18, 2025OpenID Connect Generic Client: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2025-13730 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The OpenID Connect Generic Client plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'openid_connect_generic_auth_url' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 3.10.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Dec 4, 2025Fulcio is a free-to-use certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity.CVE-2025-66506 · Other software · sigstore · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Fulcio is a free-to-use certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity. Prior to 1.8.3, function identity.extractIssuerURL splits (via a call to strings.Split) its argument (which is untrusted data) on periods. As a result, in the face of a malicious request with an (invalid) OIDC identity token in the payload containing many period characters, a call to extractIssuerURL incurs allocations to the tune of O(n) bytes (where n stands for the length of the function's argument), with a constant factor of about 16. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.3.

Nov 12, 2025Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution.CVE-2025-64099 · Other software · OpenIdentityPlatform · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. In versions prior to 16.0.0, if the "claims_parameter_supported" parameter is activated, it is possible, thanks to the "oidc-claims-extension.groovy" script, to inject the value of one's choice into a claim contained in the id_token or in the user_info. In the request of an authorize function, a claims parameter containing a JSON file can be injected. This JSON file allows attackers to customize the claims returned by the "id_token" and "user_info" files. This allows for a very wide range of vulnerabilities depending on how clients use claims. For example, if some clients rely on an email field to identify a user, an attacker can choose the email address they want, and therefore assume any identity they choose. Version 16.0.0 fixes the issue.

Oct 22, 2025Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers.CVE-2025-62706 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.5, Authlib’s JWE zip=DEF path performs unbounded DEFLATE decompression. A very small ciphertext can expand into tens or hundreds of megabytes on decrypt, allowing an attacker who can supply decryptable tokens to exhaust memory and CPU and cause denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.5. Workarounds for this issue involve rejecting or stripping zip=DEF for inbound JWEs at the application boundary, forking and add a bounded decompression guard via decompressobj().decompress(data, MAX_SIZE)) and returning an error when output exceeds a safe limit, or enforcing strict maximum token sizes and fail fast on oversized inputs; combine with rate limiting.

Oct 10, 2025Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers.CVE-2025-61920 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.5, Authlib’s JOSE implementation accepts unbounded JWS/JWT header and signature segments. A remote attacker can craft a token whose base64url‑encoded header or signature spans hundreds of megabytes. During verification, Authlib decodes and parses the full input before it is rejected, driving CPU and memory consumption to hostile levels and enabling denial of service. Version 1.6.5 patches the issue. Some temporary workarounds are available. Enforce input size limits before handing tokens to Authlib and/or use application-level throttling to reduce amplification risk.

XWiki OIDC has various tools to manipulate OpenID Connect protocol in XWiki. Starting in version 2.17.1 and prior to version 2.18.2, anyone with VIEW access to a user profile can create a token for that user. If that XWiki instance is configured to allow token authentication, it allows authentication with any user (since users are very commonly viewable, at least to other registered users). Version 2.18.2 contains a patch. As a workaround, disable token access.

Sep 22, 2025Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers.CVE-2025-59420 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.4, Authlib’s JWS verification accepts tokens that declare unknown critical header parameters (crit), violating RFC 7515 “must‑understand” semantics. An attacker can craft a signed token with a critical header (for example, bork or cnf) that strict verifiers reject but Authlib accepts. In mixed‑language fleets, this enables split‑brain verification and can lead to policy bypass, replay, or privilege escalation. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.4.

Apr 6, 2025mod_auth_openidc is an OpenID Certified authentication and authorization module for the Apache 2.x HTTP server that implements the OpenID Connect Relying Party CVE-2025-31492 · Other software · OpenIDC · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
mod_auth_openidc is an OpenID Certified authentication and authorization module for the Apache 2.x HTTP server that implements the OpenID Connect Relying Party functionality. Prior to 2.4.16.11, a bug in a mod_auth_openidc results in disclosure of protected content to unauthenticated users. The conditions for disclosure are an OIDCProviderAuthRequestMethod POST, a valid account, and there mustn't be any application-level gateway (or load balancer etc) protecting the server. When you request a protected resource, the response includes the HTTP status, the HTTP headers, the intended response (the self-submitting form), and the protected resource (with no headers). This is an example of a request for a protected resource, including all the data returned. In the case where mod_auth_openidc returns a form, it has to return OK from check_userid so as not to go down the error path in httpd. This means httpd will try to issue the protected resource. oidc_content_handler is called early, which has the opportunity to prevent the normal output being issued by httpd. oidc_content_handler has a number of checks for when it intervenes, but it doesn't check for this case, so the handler returns D
