Jul 31, 2026SendPulse Email Marketing Newsletter: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-13362 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The SendPulse Email Marketing Newsletter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via _sp_form_code Post Meta in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the attacker to create a sendpulse_form post containing a benign SendPulse loader script tag alongside arbitrary HTML (e.g., an img onerror payload), which bypasses the allow-list check and executes in the browser of any user — including administrators — who previews or views a page rendering the [sendpulse-form] shortcode.

Jul 28, 2026Newsletters Lite: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12939 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Newsletters Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'link' attribute of the post_thumbnail (and newsletters_post_thumbnail) shortcodes in versions up to and including 4.15. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the post_thumbnail() method in helpers/shortcode.php, which concatenates the user-controlled $link shortcode attribute directly into an href attribute without esc_url() or esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Jul 28, 2026Newsletters Lite: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12938 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Newsletters Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'target' attribute of the [newsletters_post] shortcode in versions up to and including 4.15. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the posts_single() function which propagates the attacker-controlled 'target' attribute into the global $wpml_target, and in the shortcode_posts() 'post_thumbnail' handler which concatenates $wpml_target into a target="..." HTML attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Jul 15, 2026listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager.CVE-2026-62361 · Other software · knadh · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5
listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager. Prior to 6.2.0, listmonk’s GET /api/subscribers/export endpoint injects the user-controlled query parameter into QuerySubscribersForExport in internal/core/subscribers.go without calling validateQueryTables, unlike GET /api/subscribers, allowing an authenticated user with subscribers:sql_query and subscribers:get_all to read arbitrary database tables such as users and settings and execute data-modifying PostgreSQL CTEs. Jul 10, 2026Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-12918 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9
The Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'recipients' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.24.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a second-order SQL injection: the malicious payload is first stored unsanitized via a POST request to /mrm/v1/campaigns/ (bypassing filter_recipients() validation because an int-cast of a string like '1) OR ...' evaluates to a real numeric ID), and is then triggered by a subsequent GET request to /mrm/v1/campaigns/{id} that deserializes the recipients and passes the raw id string through array_column() into the vulnerable query.

Apr 2, 2026listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager.CVE-2026-34828 · Other software · knadh · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager. From version 4.1.0 to before version 6.1.0, a session management vulnerability allows previously issued authenticated sessions to remain valid after sensitive account security changes, specifically password reset and password change. As a result, an attacker who has already obtained a valid session cookie can retain access to the account even after the victim changes or resets their password. This weakens account recovery and session security guarantees. This issue has been patched in version 6.1.0.

The weMail - Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optin Forms, Email Newsletters, A/B Testing, and Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized form deletion in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.7. This is due to the `Forms::permission()` callback only validating the `X-WP-Nonce` header without checking user capabilities. Feb 16, 2026Emails sent by pretix can utilize placeholders that will be filled with customer data.CVE-2026-2452 · Other software · pretix · reported by 655498c3-6ec5-4f0b-aea6-853b334d05a6High 7.5
Emails sent by pretix can utilize placeholders that will be filled with customer data. For example, when {name} is used in an email template, it will be replaced with the buyer's name for the final email. This mechanism contained a security-relevant bug: It was possible to exfiltrate information about the pretix system through specially crafted placeholder names such as {{event.__init__.__code__.co_filename}}. This way, an attacker with the ability to control email templates (usually every user of the pretix backend) could retrieve sensitive information from the system configuration, including even database passwords or API keys. pretix does include mechanisms to prevent the usage of such malicious placeholders, however due to a mistake in the code, they were not fully effective for this plugin. Out of caution, we recommend that you rotate all passwords and API keys contained in your pretix.cfg https://docs.pretix.eu/self-hosting/config/ file.

Jan 20, 2026weMail - Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optin Forms, Email Newsletters, A/B Testing, and Automation: Authorization bypassCVE-2025-14348 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The weMail - Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optin Forms, Email Newsletters, A/B Testing, and Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.7. This is due to the plugin's REST API trusting the `x-wemail-user` HTTP header to identify users without verifying the request originates from an authenticated WordPress session. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who know or can guess an admin email (easily enumerable via `/wp-json/wp/v2/users`) to impersonate that user and access the CSV subscriber endpoints, potentially exfiltrating subscriber PII (emails, names, phone numbers) from imported CSV files.

Jan 2, 2026listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager.CVE-2026-21483 · Other software · knadh · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager. Prior to version 6.0.0, lower-privileged user with campaign management permissions can inject malicious JavaScript into campaigns or templates. When a higher-privileged user (Super Admin) views or previews this content, the XSS executes in their browser context, allowing the attacker to perform privileged actions such as creating backdoor admin accounts. The attack can be weaponized via the public archive feature, where victims simply need to visit a link - no preview click required. Version 6.0.0 fixes the issue.

Sep 9, 2025listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager.CVE-2025-58430 · Other software · knadh · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager. In versions up to and including 1.1.0, every http request in addition to the session cookie `session` there included `nonce`. The value is not checked and validated by the backend, removing `nonce` allows the requests to be processed correctly. This may seem harmless, but if chained to other vulnerabilities it can become a critical vulnerability. Cross-site request forgery and cross-site scripting chained together can result in improper admin account creation. As of time of publication, no patched versions are available.
