  • Sep 12, 2026Smart Marketing SMS and Newsletters Forms: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-77161 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Smart Marketing SMS and Newsletters Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via Parameter Name in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.24 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires the plugin's sync feature to be enabled (options['enabled']) and get_option('egoi_mapping') to be truthy, both of which reflect ordinary configured states for the plugin's core contact mapping functionality.

  • Sep 9, 2026Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-19800 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

The Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'status' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.31.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. The $wpdb->prepare() call does not protect against this injection because the attacker-controlled $contact_filter_query fragment is concatenated into the SQL format string before prepare() executes — prepare() only processes %s/%d placeholders and cannot sanitize content already embedded in the format string. REST API JSON bodies are parsed from php://input and bypass WordPress's wp_magic_quotes(), meaning double-quote characters in status array values reach the SQL sink unescaped. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The required 'mint_read_contacts' capability is a plugin-specific capability not assigned to any default WordPress role; it must be explicitly granted by an

The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.17. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to send arbitrary newsletter emails to users of any WordPress role, including administrators, by forging POST fields during a normal post submission. This allows an attacker-supplied role slug via the newsletters_mailinglistsroles POST field to be passed directly to get_users(), enabling unauthorized mass-mailing and potential phishing against privileged site users through the site's own outbound email channel.

  • Aug 15, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-18387 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'tag_query' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.14 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with vendor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires the attacker to trigger the vulnerable Legacy_Contact_Query code path by submitting an unknown filter type (e.g. filters[0][0][type]=force_fallback), which causes a FilterException that dispatches execution away from the modern query handler.

The AcyMailing – An Ultimate Newsletter Plugin and Marketing Automation Solution for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 10.11.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.2 via the GET /wp-json/gh/v4/contacts/<id> REST endpoint. The endpoint's permission callback checks only the role-level view_contacts capability and read_single() returns the full contact record by sequential integer ID without the object-level view_contact ownership check applied elsewhere in the codebase. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers holding view_contacts but not view_others_contacts — notably Groundhogg's built-in Sales Rep role, designed to see only its own contacts — to read any contact record on the site, including PII, contact meta, owner IDs, the admin edit URL, and (for contacts linked to a WordPress user) that user's full capability set.

  • Jul 28, 2026Newsletters Lite: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12938 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Newsletters Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'target' attribute of the [newsletters_post] shortcode in versions up to and including 4.15. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the posts_single() function which propagates the attacker-controlled 'target' attribute into the global $wpml_target, and in the shortcode_posts() 'post_thumbnail' handler which concatenates $wpml_target into a target="..." HTML attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Jul 15, 2026listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager.CVE-2026-62361 · Other software · knadh · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager. Prior to 6.2.0, listmonk’s GET /api/subscribers/export endpoint injects the user-controlled query parameter into QuerySubscribersForExport in internal/core/subscribers.go without calling validateQueryTables, unlike GET /api/subscribers, allowing an authenticated user with subscribers:sql_query and subscribers:get_all to read arbitrary database tables such as users and settings and execute data-modifying PostgreSQL CTEs. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

  • Jul 10, 2026Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-12918 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

The Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'recipients' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.24.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a second-order SQL injection: the malicious payload is first stored unsanitized via a POST request to /mrm/v1/campaigns/ (bypassing filter_recipients() validation because an int-cast of a string like '1) OR ...' evaluates to a real numeric ID), and is then triggered by a subsequent GET request to /mrm/v1/campaigns/{id} that deserializes the recipients and passes the raw id string through array_column() into the vulnerable query.
