In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fat: release buffer head after rebuilding parent fat_scan_logstart() leaves the matching directory entry's buffer head in sinfo.bh for the caller to release, just like fat_scan(). fat_rebuild_parent() uses the directory entry to rebuild the parent inode for the nostale_ro NFS export path, but does not release sinfo.bh after a successful scan. Release it once fat_build_inode() has consumed the directory entry data.

Sep 17, 2026Improper Output Neutralization for Logs vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge application log entries by sCVE-2026-86522 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3
Improper Output Neutralization for Logs vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge application log entries by submitting a password reset identity containing newlines or control characters. AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.RequestPasswordReset.run/3 interpolates the identity argument, the email or username taken straight from the reset request, into its Logger.warning/1 heredocs without escaping, truncating or type-restricting it. The resource logged beside it is passed through inspect/1, which would have neutralized the value. A newline in the identity therefore ends the log record, and everything after it is written as a line of its own, so an attacker chooses the severity tag and the content of entries that appear to have come from the application. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.2.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.

Sep 17, 2026Use of HTTP Request With Sensitive Query String vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthenticationPhoenix allows someone able to read access logs, proxy logs or brCVE-2026-81632 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7.2
Use of HTTP Request With Sensitive Query String vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthenticationPhoenix allows someone able to read access logs, proxy logs or browser history to recover a single-use sign-in token and authenticate as its owner. After a successful password sign-in, AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Components.Password.SignInForm builds the sign_in_with_token path with the freshly issued user.__metadata__.token as a query parameter and redirects the browser to it with a GET. The token therefore travels in the request line, where web servers, reverse proxies, request telemetry and the browser's own history record it, all of which outlive the request and are ordinarily less protected than session storage. The redirect destination is restricted to a local path, so this is not an open redirect; the exposure is the retention of a live credential. This issue affects ash_authentication_phoenix: from 1.7.0 before 2.17.4 and from 3.0.0-rc.0 before 3.0.0-rc.11; ash_authentication: from 3.10.5 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.

Sep 15, 2026Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the Express saved search preset delete and edit dialogs .CVE-2026-18423 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deLow 2.1
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the Express saved search preset delete and edit dialogs . An authenticated user holding only view permission on a single Express entity could therefore permanently delete, with no undo, or rename saved search presets owned by Express entities for which they had no permission, and a renamed preset name was displayed back to users of the targeted entity, enabling defacement or social engineering. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Sep 14, 2026Description The Logviewer offers `logs.users` and `logs.groups` so operators can control who may read log content.CVE-2026-82437 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 4.3
Description The Logviewer offers `logs.users` and `logs.groups` so operators can control who may read log content. For daemon logs those settings were not applied: the access decision combined the "this is a daemon log" flag with the authorizer result in a way that discarded the authorizer's answer whenever the flag was set, and the daemon log page and download endpoints reached the handler without consulting an authorizer at all. Any user able to pass the configured servlet filter could therefore read `nimbus.log`, `supervisor.log` and the other daemon logs on every reachable node, which contain other tenants' topology names, owners and configuration fragments. The same advisory covers the log listing endpoints, which accepted a user argument and never applied it, so `/listLogs` and `/searchLogs` returned every tenant's topology and worker log file names regardless of the caller. That part is metadata only. There was no configuration that closed either behaviour. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the daemon log paths evaluate the same configured user and group lists that the worker log paths already used, and the listing endpoints filter by the requesting user. Users who ca

Aug 30, 2026Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in ash-project ash_cloak allows anyone with access to logs, error trackers, or crash reCVE-2026-81322 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1
Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in ash-project ash_cloak allows anyone with access to logs, error trackers, or crash reports, or anyone who can trigger a validation error, to recover the plaintext of a field the library encrypts. AshCloak.Transformers.SetUpEncryption removes each cloaked attribute from the action's accept list and adds an action argument that carries the plaintext into the encryption change. That argument is built with sensitive?: attr.sensitive?, inheriting the flag from the source attribute, so a cloaked attribute declared without sensitive? true produces a non-sensitive argument. It is the only place the cleartext value lives, and the one place Ash will not redact: it appears verbatim in inspect(changeset), Ash.Error.Invalid and validation error messages, telemetry, :sys dumps, and error-tracker payloads. The generated encrypted attribute and decrypt calculation are already hardcoded sensitive. This issue affects ash_cloak: from 0.1.0 before 0.4.0.

Aug 21, 2026DiscordChatExporter saves Discord chat logs to a file.CVE-2026-54682 · Other software · Tyrrrz · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
DiscordChatExporter saves Discord chat logs to a file. Prior to 2.47.2, HTML exports generated with markdown formatting disabled pass attacker-controlled content through FormatMarkdownAsync and FormatEmbedMarkdownAsync in DiscordChatExporter.Core/Exporting/MessageGroupTemplate.cshtml and render it without HTML entity encoding. The affected fields include message.Content, message.ForwardedMessage.Content, message.ReferencedMessage.Content, embed.Title, embed.Description, field.Name, and field.Value. A Discord webhook or bot can store a script payload in these fields, and the payload executes when a user exports the channel with markdown formatting disabled and opens the resulting HTML, allowing the script to read the export or alter its displayed content. DiscordChatExporter saves Discord chat logs to a file. Prior to 2.47.2, the VisitEmojiAsync method in DiscordChatExporter.Core/Exporting/HtmlMarkdownVisitor.cs interpolates emoji.Name into the alt attribute and emoji.Code into the title attribute without HTML entity encoding. This affects HTML exports regardless of the markdown setting. Discord's current custom emoji name validation normally excludes attribute-breaking characters, but tampered offline input, a relaxed upstream validation rule, or another future metadata source can inject an HTML attribute and execute script when a user opens the export. A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's exported logs feature. An unauthenticated attacker with a valid file ID could download exported action logs without proper authorization. While file IDs are complex, they can be intercepted from plaintext email or webhook callbacks. This vulnerability leads to information disclosure, potentially exposing sensitive data such as usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, and action-specific metadata.

Aug 12, 2026Apache Airflow's Task SDK did not mask the contents of a Variable whose JSON value is a list, so secrets stored in that shape appeared in cleartext in task logsCVE-2026-68970 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.5
Apache Airflow's Task SDK did not mask the contents of a Variable whose JSON value is a list, so secrets stored in that shape appeared in cleartext in task logs and in the Rendered Templates UI. Masking was applied only when the deserialized value was a string or a dict; a list at the top level matched neither and was returned unmasked. Any authenticated user able to read the logs or rendered templates of a task that references such a Variable could recover the values, with no special configuration required. This is the list-shaped counterpart of CVE-2026-59244, whose fix covered the dict case only, so deployments that upgraded in response to that advisory remain affected and must upgrade again. Users are advised to upgrade to apache-airflow 3.3.1 or later.

The Spring Boot language server logs the raw value of the https_proxy/HTTPS_PROXY/http_proxy/HTTP_PROXY environment variable at INFO level whenever it creates an outbound HTTP client and no explicit http.proxy workspace setting is configured. Corporate proxy URLs frequently embed Basic-auth credentials in the form http://user:pass@proxy:8080, and the language server writes this value to its log file without any redaction. Since language server log files are often attached to bug reports or are readable by other local users/processes, this can result in disclosure of proxy credentials. Jul 16, 2026An insecure symlink following vulnerability exists in Canonical ubuntu-pro-client (formerly ubuntu-advantage-tools) within the pro collect-logs command frameworCVE-2026-12391 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5
An insecure symlink following vulnerability exists in Canonical ubuntu-pro-client (formerly ubuntu-advantage-tools) within the pro collect-logs command framework. The utility creates or utilizes predictable temporary file paths or user-accessible log directories when gathering diagnostic information without verifying the file type or ownership. An unprivileged local attacker can exploit this behavior by creating a symbolic link (symlink) at a predictable destination path pointing to an arbitrary, root-readable file (such as /etc/shadow or private files within /root). When a root administrator or operator subsequently executes the pro collect-logs command, the tool follows the user-controlled symlink, reads the target file, and compresses its contents into the resulting diagnostic support archive. Because the output archive remains readable by the unprivileged user, the attacker can extract and read the sensitive root-owned files, leading to a complete information disclosure of system secrets.

Jun 23, 2026Cap-go capgo (capgo-backend) before 12.128.12 contains an unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability arising from the audit_logs table's Row-Level SecurityCVE-2026-56248 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Cap-go capgo (capgo-backend) before 12.128.12 contains an unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability arising from the audit_logs table's Row-Level Security (RLS) policy when accessed via the Supabase PostgREST API. Because the PostgreSQL query planner executes costly logic before RLS rejection, unfiltered queries to the public.audit_logs endpoint using the public anon key consistently trigger statement timeouts (PostgREST error 57014). Under concurrency, this exhausts database resources and causes cascading HTTP 500 failures on unrelated endpoints (e.g. /orgs), resulting in an application-layer denial of service.

Cap-go before 12.128.2 contains a privilege inversion vulnerability in GET /build/logs/:jobId that allows read-only API key holders to cancel running native builds. The endpoint registers an abort listener on the SSE stream that unconditionally invokes cancelBuildOnDisconnect() using the privileged server-side BUILDER_API_KEY when clients disconnect, bypassing the app.build_native permission check required by the explicit POST /build/cancel/:jobId endpoint. Attackers with read-only API keys can repeatedly disrupt native build operations and CI/CD workflows by opening the log stream and dropping the connection.
