  • Oct 9, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix out-of-bounds read of sk_protocol in bpf_sock_destroy() sk_protocol lives in struCVE-2026-98384 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix out-of-bounds read of sk_protocol in bpf_sock_destroy() sk_protocol lives in struct sock, not in struct sock_common. A timewait or request sock handed to bpf_sock_destroy() by the tcp iterator is neither, so reading sk->sk_protocol runs past the object: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in bpf_sock_destroy+0xc7/0xe0 Read of size 2 at addr ffff8881047d11b4 by task test_progs/428 Tainted: [W]=WARN Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x91/0xf0 print_report+0xd1/0x630 kasan_report+0xf3/0x130 __asan_report_load2_noabort+0x14/0x30 bpf_sock_destroy+0xc7/0xe0 bpf_prog_c3dd61f9d9cd9f37_iter_tcp6_timewait+0x9f/0xb7 bpf_iter_run_prog+0x538/0xde0 bpf_iter_tcp_seq_show+0x26b/0x4b0 bpf_seq_read+0x424/0x1210 vfs_read+0x197/0xe40 ksys_read+0x119/0x240 __x64_sys_read+0x72/0xc0 x64_sys_call+0x647/0x27e0 do_syscall_64+0xe5/0x610 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x76/0x7e Only check sk_protocol on full socks. tcp_abort() already knows how to deal with TIME_WAIT and NEW_SYN_RECV socks. Also fix the comment, it never matched the code.

Backdrop CMS 1.34 before 1.34.5 and 1.35 before 1.35.1 doesn't sufficiently protect configuration exports when delivering a compressed archive. This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an export must have been previously requested by someone with the "Synchronize, import, and export configuration" permission. NOTE: CVE-2026-107914 refers to the vulnerability in which config.admin.inc does not ensure that a file_unmanaged_delete operation occurs. Therefore, many archives could persist: config.tar.gz, config_0.tar.gz, config_1.tar.gz, etc. There is a separate config.module issue that could allow remote access by an anonymous user, but only for the one filename config.tar.gz.

  • Oct 8, 2026The Arkime live capture service (arkime-live) in Malcolm runs with network_mode: host, exposing port 8005 on all network interfaces (viewHost=0.0.0.0).CVE-2026-107361 · Other software · CISA · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govMedium 4.2

The Arkime live capture service (arkime-live) in Malcolm runs with network_mode: host, exposing port 8005 on all network interfaces (viewHost=0.0.0.0). Arkime trusts the X-Forwarded-User header from any IP address (userAuthIps=::,0.0.0.0/0) and auto-creates users with full access. The passwordSecret is hardcoded to the public value "Malcolm". A network-adjacent attacker bypasses nginx entirely by connecting directly to port 8005 with a forged identity header.

  • Oct 8, 2026Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 fails open when applying DANE (RFC 7672) to outbound SMTP delivery.CVE-2026-107584 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.4

Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 fails open when applying DANE (RFC 7672) to outbound SMTP delivery. The server's validating DNSSEC resolver treated a TLSA or MX lookup that did not complete (no answer, SERVFAIL, a malformed reply), an answer without the requested records and without an NSEC/NSEC3 proof of their absence, and an answer whose records carried no applicable RRSIG as if the recipient domain were unsigned, and from 6.2.19 it also delivered to mail exchangers taken from an unvalidated MX lookup that the DNSSEC-validated MX record set did not name. An attacker who can drop, forge or strip DNS answers on the path to the server's resolver, at the resolver, or between the resolver and the recipient domain's name servers, and who holds an active position on the SMTP path, can thereby disable DANE for a DNSSEC-signed recipient domain and cause messages to be delivered in cleartext or to a host of the attacker's choosing with an arbitrary certificate, where they can be read and modified.

  • Oct 8, 2026Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 does not enforce TLS for outbound SMTP delivery to a mail exchanger whose DNSSEC-validated TLSA records contaiCVE-2026-104704 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.4

Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 does not enforce TLS for outbound SMTP delivery to a mail exchanger whose DNSSEC-validated TLSA records contain no DANE-EE (usage 3) record, contrary to RFC 7672 section 2.2. The server used only DANE-EE records and treated a validated TLSA record set consisting of DANE-TA (usage 2) or otherwise unusable records as if no records were published, so delivery to such a host fell back to opportunistic TLS. An attacker with an active position on the network path between the server and the recipient's mail exchanger can suppress or break the STARTTLS negotiation and cause messages to be delivered in cleartext, where they can be read and modified.

  • Oct 8, 2026The Linux live-update apply helper (hmailserver-update) of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 runs as root on a request file written by the unprivileCVE-2026-104658 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.8

The Linux live-update apply helper (hmailserver-update) of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 runs as root on a request file written by the unprivileged hmailserver service account, and took from that request the program used to verify an AppImage update's signature and the systemd unit to stop before reading the service account's files. An attacker who already runs code as the hmailserver service account, for example through another flaw in the mail server, can therefore have arbitrary code executed as root, on any Linux installation where the live update's path unit is active - the default for the project's .deb and .rpm packages - and on AppImage installations run under that unit.

linuxserver Heimdall through 2.8.3 applies its SafeUrlFetcher SSRF protection mechanism only to ItemController; the enhanced-application test and live-stats requests occur via SupportedApps::execute(), a GuzzleHttp client that lacks IP address restrictions. In some realistic installations, the POST /test_config (and GET /get_stats) endpoints are accessible through CSRF, and thus an unauthenticated attacker can force the server to send requests to arbitrary internal hosts and ports (including 169.254.169.254) and read a status/port oracle in addition to partial response data.

  • Oct 6, 2026Post SMTP – Complete Email Deliverability and SMTP Solution with Email Logs, Alerts, Backup SMTP & Mobile App: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-75962 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Post SMTP – Complete Email Deliverability and SMTP Solution with Email Logs, Alerts, Backup SMTP & Mobile App plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'user_email' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable without authentication on WordPress Multisite installations with public registration enabled, as WordPress accepts email addresses containing numeric HTML character references that Post SMTP's stricter validator rejects, persisting the attacker-controlled address verbatim to the email log via the failed-send exception message.

  • Oct 2, 2026SupportCandy – AI Customer Support Ticket System & Live Chatbot Agent: Time-based SQL InjectionCVE-2026-94539 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The SupportCandy – AI Customer Support Ticket System & Live Chatbot Agent plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'sort_by' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.3 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. If an allocation failure happens later and the err_free_tpa_info label is taken, the live ring's memory can be freed while still in use. • Sep 23, 2026GoCD is a continuous deliver server.CVE-2026-55632 · Other software · gocd · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

GoCD is a continuous deliver server. From 20.2.0 until 26.1.0, the internal pipeline structure API used for autocompletion while editing pipeline, template, environment, and user-preference configuration returns its users-and-roles mode to regular authenticated users without requiring an administrator role. A lower-privileged user can enumerate configured user names and available role names, which can facilitate attacks against those users. The response does not reveal which roles are assigned to each user, and the endpoint cannot modify data. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.0.

GoCD is a continuous deliver server. From 20.2.0 until 26.1.0, the internal GoCD UI fetch-artifact auto-suggestion API at /go/api/internal/pipelines/**/upstream does not adequately authorize access to upstream dependency data. • Sep 22, 2026Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-16778 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'dslc_module_downloads_output' Shortcode Content in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.21 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The save-time wp_kses_post check is bypassed because the payload is stored as a serialized string containing no HTML tags for kses to tokenize, and the shortcode callback re-emits attacker-controlled values — including view_all_link (href attribute), main_heading_title (h2 body), button_text (anchor body), and button_inline_svg (anchor body) — without any escaping at render time.

  • Sep 21, 2026GoCD is a continuous deliver server.CVE-2026-68919 · Other software · gocd · reported by GitHubHigh 7

GoCD is a continuous deliver server. From 13.3.0 until 26.1.0, GoCD does not correctly encode and escape malicious material modification comments that mimic the special trackback format used by package materials when rendering the Stage Detail, Job/Build Detail, Value Stream Map, and Pipeline History views. A user with write access to a material tracked by GoCD can store arbitrary HTML or JavaScript in a forged package material comment, which executes in the browser session of a user who later views an affected page. Exploitation requires a victim to view a page that renders the malicious modification, and GoCD does not render every material comment in every view. Successful exploitation can expose a privileged user session or allow changes using the victim's credentials and privileges. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.0.

GoCD is a continuous deliver server. Prior to 26.1.0, GoCD can return unmasked credentials that administrators stored in the userinfo portion of source control material URLs through several read-only APIs available to regular authenticated users. Although GoCD recommends dedicated username and password fields or secret-management plugins, legacy configuration permits credentials in material URLs, and not every mixed-use API consistently applies URL masking for every material type. An authenticated user with access to an affected pipeline can obtain credentials embedded in its material URL, while dedicated password fields remain encrypted and are not exposed by this issue. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.0.

From 16.1.0 until 26.1.0, the internal material connection test APIs at /go/api/admin/internal/material_test and /go/api/internal/config_repos/*/material_test accept an arbitrary existing pipeline and pipeline-group context without sufficient validation. A pipeline group administrator can invoke Test Connection for source control materials outside the administrator's authorized pipeline group or configuration repository and potentially use credentials from those materials. GoCD is a continuous deliver server. From 12.3.1 until 26.1.0, legacy routes under /go/admin/restful/* expose historical full server configuration to pipeline group administrators instead of restricting responses to configuration for groups they administer. The disclosed configuration can include agent auto-registration keys, webhook invocation keys, encrypted material credentials, and GoCD administrator lists. A malicious pipeline group administrator can use disclosed agent registration data to connect a rogue compatible agent, which can create a higher-complexity path to receiving work or overwriting artifacts associated with other groups. Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. From Aspen.1 until Ulmo and Verawood.1, openedx/core/lib/extract_archive.py uses _is_bad_path to validate safe_extractall targets by comparing resolved path strings with startswith instead of comparing path components. A course author or staff user with course import permission can submit a crafted .tar.gz archive through the import_olx flow initiated by cms.djangoapps.contentstore.views.import_export.import_handler. An archive member can therefore escape into a sibling course staging directory whose name shares the attacker's base64 directory prefix, causing limited cross-tenant file corruption. Zip archives are not practically affected because ZipFile.extractall strips parent traversal segments, and the advisory does not establish arbitrary filesystem writes, file reads, or direct code execution. This issue is fixed in Ulmo and Verawood.1.

  • Sep 18, 2026Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale.CVE-2026-85271 · Other software · openedx · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. From Redwood until Ulmo and Verawood.1, the add_additional_attributes_to_notifications function in openedx/core/djangoapps/notifications/email/utils.py assigns notification content without sanitizing discussion-title values produced by get_notification_content in openedx/core/djangoapps/notifications/base_notification.py. An enrolled student can place CSS-capable markup in the post_title value supplied by lms/djangoapps/discussion/rest_api/discussions_notifications.py. Digest and batched-email rendering then passes that value through openedx/core/djangoapps/notifications/templates/notifications/digest_content.html as safe HTML, allowing email-open tracking and content spoofing or phishing when another learner opens a CSS-rendering client. The immediate-email path is not affected because it strips title markup and renders a separately sanitized body. This issue is fixed in Ulmo and Verawood.1.

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: liveupdate: Remember FLB retrieve() status LUO keeps track of successful retrieve attemptsCVE-2026-92483 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: liveupdate: Remember FLB retrieve() status LUO keeps track of successful retrieve attempts on an FLB. It does so to avoid multiple retrievals of the same FLB. Multiple retrievals cause problems because once the FLB is retrieved, the serialized data structures are likely freed and the FLB is likely in a very different state from what the code expects. All this works well when retrieve succeeds. When it fails, luo_flb_retrieve_one() returns the error immediately, without ever storing anywhere that a retrieve was attempted or what its error code was. If the user attempts to retrieve another file registered with the same FLB, LUO will attempt to call the FLB's retrieve() callback again. The retry is problematic for much of the same reasons listed above. The FLB is likely in a very different state than what the retrieve logic normally expects (e.g. some KHO pages may have already been restored and freed). There is no sane way of attempting the retrieve again. Remember the error retrieve returned and directly return it on a retry. This is done by changing the retrieved bool to a retrieve_status integer. A value of

pgAdmin 4's Webserver authentication source is intended to accept an identity asserted by the web server or reverse proxy in front of pgAdmin, delivered through the WSGI/CGI environment. WebserverAuthentication.get_user() read config.WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER from request.environ and, when that returned nothing, fell back to reading the same name directly from the inbound HTTP request headers via request.headers.get(). An inbound HTTP header is written by whoever sends the request, so any client able to reach pgAdmin could supply that header itself and be authenticated as any username it named, including an existing Administrator, without presenting a password or any other credential. The environment lookup could also be satisfied by a client-supplied header whenever WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER was configured to an HTTP_-prefixed or hyphenated name such as HTTP_X_FORWARDED_USER or X-Forwarded-User, since WSGI servers place inbound headers into the environment under exactly those names. Deployments are affected only when 'webserver' is enabled in AUTHENTICATION_SOURCES. The fix distinguishes a genuine CGI/WSGI variable from a header-derived one and implicitly trusts only the former.
