SOGo before 5.12.11 constructs password-reset links using the client-supplied Origin header as the authority, allowing unauthenticated attackers to redirect recovery tokens to attacker-controlled domains. Attackers can submit password recovery requests with a malicious Origin header to have valid password-reset tokens mailed to victim recovery addresses within links pointing to attacker infrastructure, enabling account takeover.

  • Sep 17, 2026Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise did not safely resolve symbolic links when extracting plugin archives.CVE-2026-15815 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comHigh 8.8

Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise did not safely resolve symbolic links when extracting plugin archives. A crafted plugin archive can chain relative symbolic link entries to escape the plugin installation directory, writing arbitrary files and an executable backend binary outside that directory. The dropped executable runs with the privileges of the Grafana server process, resulting in remote code execution. Plugin archives are extracted before their signature is verified, so a valid plugin signature does not prevent the write. An operator can therefore be affected by installing a plugin that appears legitimate, as well as by installing a plugin from an arbitrary archive using grafana-cli, the GF_INSTALL_PLUGINS environment variable, or preinstall configuration. Grafana Enterprise is affected because it includes the same plugin extraction code as Grafana OSS.

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: meson: Keep link pointers valid on realloc failure meson_card_reallocate_links() groCVE-2026-93039 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.4

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: meson: Keep link pointers valid on realloc failure meson_card_reallocate_links() grows the DAI link and private data arrays with two consecutive krealloc() calls and updates the owner pointers only after both calls have succeeded. A successful krealloc() may move the data: it frees the old block and returns a new one. When that happens for the link array and the second krealloc() then fails, card->dai_link still points to the block that krealloc() already freed, and the error path frees the new block too. The probe error path then calls meson_card_clean_references(), which dereferences card->dai_link and kfree()s it again, resulting in a use-after-free and a double free. Commit card->dai_link and card->num_links right after the first krealloc() succeeds, so the pointer always refers to a valid allocation that meson_card_clean_references() can walk and free. krealloc() with __GFP_ZERO zero-initializes the added entries, so walking them on the error path is safe. With both failure paths reduced to a plain return, drop the goto labels and the error message.

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7996: free vif links after clearing wcid entries on full reset mt7996_mac_reCVE-2026-90356 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7996: free vif links after clearing wcid entries on full reset mt7996_mac_reset_vif_iter() queues non-default vif links for kfree_rcu while dev->wcid[] still holds pointers to the wcid embedded in each freed link; mt76_reset_device() then dereferences those entries and runs mt76_wcid_cleanup() on them. If a grace period elapses in between, the cleanup operates on freed memory. Run mt76_reset_device() first, so the wcid entries are cleaned up and cleared while the links are still valid.

  • Sep 14, 2026Laravel MagicLink creates links for authentication without a password or for accessing private content.CVE-2026-61701 · Other software · cesargb · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Laravel MagicLink creates links for authentication without a password or for accessing private content. From 2.0.0 until 2.25.1, MagicLink stores serialized action objects in the magic_links.action database column and deserializes them through src/MagicLink.php and src/Actions/ResponseAction.php without sufficient integrity protection, while an unsafe legacy unserialize() fallback remains reachable. An attacker who can manipulate database records, such as through a separate SQL injection or compromised administrative access, can insert a malicious serialized object graph containing executable closure behavior; visiting the associated magic link then deserializes the record and can execute arbitrary code in the application process. The affected path is restricted to manipulated action records and does not independently provide database-write access. This issue is fixed in version 2.25.1.

  • Sep 10, 2026Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub EnCVE-2026-88881 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, or GitHub Enterprise Server, and sends the credentials configured for that host to the URL given as the 'next' page. Because the pagination URL is not validated against the host originally contacted, a malicious or compromised GitHub server can return a `Link` header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and cause Renovate to disclose those credentials to it. Exploitation requires that the GitHub server Renovate talks to (as the repository host or as a datasource such as github-releases, github-tags, or git-refs) is already malicious or compromised. The issue is fixed in renovate 44.11.3 (npm and renovate/renovate container images), Mend Renovate CE/EE images and the mend-renovate-ce helm chart 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart 10.4.0. • Aug 26, 2026The LoRaWAN application-layer clock-synchronization service parses downlinks in clock_sync_package_callback() (subsys/lorawan/services/clock_sync.c).CVE-2026-13479 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.1

The LoRaWAN application-layer clock-synchronization service parses downlinks in clock_sync_package_callback() (subsys/lorawan/services/clock_sync.c). Its command loop only guarantees that the one-byte command id is in bounds; for the CLOCK_SYNC_CMD_APP_TIME (AppTimeAns) command the handler then reads a 4-byte time correction via sys_get_le32() plus a 1-byte token without checking that 5 bytes remain in the receive buffer (len - rx_pos). A short or crafted AppTimeAns therefore reads up to 5 bytes past the end of the decrypted payload. The payload (rx_buf/len) is the decrypted application frame delivered to the registered downlink callback (mcps_indication->Buffer/BufferSize). Reaching the handler requires a frame on the clock-sync port that passes LoRaWAN's MAC integrity check and FRMPayload decryption, so the practical attacker is a malicious or compromised network/application server (the designated sender of AppTimeAns) or a party holding the session keys, rather than an arbitrary radio listener. The over-read is bounded: the backing store is a fixed 255-byte static buffer, so the few stray bytes do not fault, and the read values (time_correction, token) are used only internally

The BetterLinks – Link Shortener, Link Cloaking, Redirects, Affiliate Link Manager & MCP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary BetterLinks short URLs with attacker-controlled slugs and redirect destinations, enabling phishing and SEO abuse. Exploitation requires the Fluent Boards companion plugin to be installed and active (so that the FLUENT_BOARDS constant is defined), and is further facilitated by the betterlinks_admin_nonce nonce being emitted on every frontend page via wp_localize_script, making it accessible to any authenticated user.

  • Aug 24, 2026adm-zip 0.5.9 through 0.6.0 follows symbolic links at the extraction destination.CVE-2026-76845 · Other software · cthackers · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8

adm-zip 0.5.9 through 0.6.0 follows symbolic links at the extraction destination. Utils.sanitize in util/utils.js enforces containment by comparing only the string form of an archive entry name against the resolved extraction root, and Utils.writeFileTo opens the computed destination with fs.openSync(path, "w", 0o666), which resolves symbolic links and carries neither O_NOFOLLOW nor a pre-write fs.lstatSync check. When a path component at the destination already exists as a symbolic link pointing outside the extraction root, extractAllTo, extractAllToAsync and extractEntryTo write the entry contents through that link and then chmod its target, placing attacker-controlled content in a file outside the root without any traversal sequence appearing in the archive. Reaching the write requires overwrite to be enabled, because the preceding fs.existsSync check also resolves the link and otherwise declines. An attacker able to create a symbolic link inside a shared, reused or predictable extraction directory, such as a temporary directory or a continuous integration workspace, can overwrite any file the extracting process is permitted to write.

to_abs_path in scripts/iib/tool.py normalised the requested path with os.path.normpath, which collapses dot segments but does not resolve symbolic links. A symlink placed inside a scanned directory therefore satisfies the containment comparison performed by is_path_trusted in scripts/iib/api.py while pointing outside that directory, and FileResponse follows the link when serving the response, so a link created in an image directory and targeting a file such as /etc/passwd discloses that file. Whether the check applies depends on get_enable_access_control in scripts/iib/tool.py: it returns true when IIB_ACCESS_CONTROL is set to enable, false when set to disable, and otherwise true when the host Stable Diffusion WebUI was started with share, ngrok, listen or server_name, falling back to false. Confinement is therefore active in the network-exposed WebUI deployments that rely on it, while a standalone run with no such option serves every readable file regardless of this flaw. The fix resolves the path with os.path.realpath.

  • Aug 20, 2026LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links.CVE-2026-49436 · Other software · Kovah · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3

LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Prior to version 2.5.7, the Bulk Link API endpoint (`POST /api/v2/bulk/links`) accepts URLs without any format validation, allowing an authenticated user to store a `javascript:` URI. The stored URI is later rendered verbatim as an `href` in Blade templates, and clicking it executes arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser — exfiltrating cookies and session tokens. Version 2.5.7 fixes the issue.

  • Aug 20, 2026Link Preview JS extracts web links information.CVE-2026-61704 · Other software · OP-Engineering · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Link Preview JS extracts web links information. Prior to 4.0.4, the resolveDNSHost mitigation in index.ts validates one resolved IP address but fetches the original hostname, allowing an attacker-controlled DNS server to return a public address during validation and a loopback or internal address during the final connection. This DNS rebinding condition bypasses the SSRF protection and can cause the server-side preview fetch to reach internal HTTP resources. Redirect handling is affected by the same validation-to-fetch mismatch. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.4.

  • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/iommufd: Fix IOPF group ownership UAF iopf_group_alloc() links each last-page IOPF gCVE-2026-74520 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/iommufd: Fix IOPF group ownership UAF iopf_group_alloc() links each last-page IOPF group into the generic IOPF pending list before invoking the domain fault handler. iommufd_fault_iopf_handler() also queued an accepted group in the IOMMUFD deliver list without removing it from the generic pending list. When detach or HWPT replacement drops the device's IOPF reference count to zero, an IOMMU driver may call iopf_queue_remove_device(). That function responds to and frees groups through the generic pending list without removing the same groups from IOMMUFD's deliver list or response xarray. A later read, response, or cleanup can then access the freed group and cause a UAF. Fix this by dequeuing an accepted group from the generic pending list before IOMMUFD queues it for userspace response. Make iopf_group_response() send a response regardless of pending-list membership, so the dequeued group can still be completed by IOMMUFD.

  • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix NULL deref in change_sta_links for unready link _ieee80211_set_active_liCVE-2026-74366 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix NULL deref in change_sta_links for unready link _ieee80211_set_active_links() calls _ieee80211_link_use_channel() for each newly-added link and WARN_ON_ONCE()s if it fails. The call uses assign_on_failure=true, which allows mac80211 to continue despite driver failures, but when a mac80211-level channel validation fails (e.g., combinations check, DFS, or no available radio), drv_assign_vif_chanctx() is never reached. Since ath12k_mac_vdev_create() is only called from that path, arvif->is_created remains false and arvif->ar remains NULL for the failed link. The subsequent drv_change_sta_links() call reaches ath12k_mac_op_change_sta_links(), which allocates an arsta and sets ahsta->links_map |= BIT(link_id) for the broken link before checking whether the link is ready. When the vdev was never created, only station_add() is skipped, but the link remains in links_map. Any subsequent operation iterating links_map and dereferencing arvif->ar without a NULL check will crash. Two observed examples are NULL deref in ath12k_mac_ml_station_remove() on disconnect and in ath12k_mac_op_set_key() when wpa_sup

  • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: afs: Remove setting of AS_RELEASE_ALWAYS for symlinks and mountpoints Regular AFS files coCVE-2026-72377 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: afs: Remove setting of AS_RELEASE_ALWAYS for symlinks and mountpoints Regular AFS files correctly use afs_file_aops which have release_folio set as netfs_release_folio, so AS_RELEASE_ALWAYS is valid for them when fscache is enabled (set via afs_vnode_set_cache()). Symlinks and mountpoints in AFS use afs_dir_aops, which does not provide a release_folio callback. However, afs_apply_status() unconditionally calls mapping_set_release_always() for these. In such case when memory management code attempts to release folios, filemap_release_folio() checks folio_needs_release() which returns true due to AS_RELEASE_ALWAYS being set. Since there is no release_folio callback, it falls through to try_to_free_buffers(), which at present expects buffer_heads to be not null. For symlinks and mountpoints without buffer_heads, this causes pointer dereference. [dh: Added more bits that were missed]
