In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Keep kick_sync waiting on the rq's own CPU kick_sync_wait_bal_cb() assumes it runs on the rq's CPU from the __schedule() tail: the snapshots it compares against live in that CPU's percpu area and the busy-wait runs with the rq lock dropped and IRQs enabled. However, dispatch can now drop the rq lock while the callback sits queued, and rq lock takers in that window (the sched class change paths, the scx task iterator) flush pending balance callbacks on release, running the callback on a foreign CPU. Such a run compares against unrelated snapshots and can deadlock when the executing CPU is itself a wait target. Bail on a foreign CPU and leave the wait state alone. The wait only observes progress that the resched kicks already guarantee and the rq's next wait picks up the stale cpus_to_sync bits.

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in OAuth token issuance in hexpm hexpm allows a user whose organization membership or session has ended to keep reading the organization's private packages and their documentation tarballs via a retained refresh token. generate_refresh_token/4 in lib/hexpm/oauth/jwt.ex signs the refresh token with the same iss, aud and scope claims as the access token, so it carries the same repository:<org> scopes. The CDN service that serves private repositories verifies the signature and time claims and then authorizes from the scope claim, with no database lookup and no way to tell the two token kinds apart. Removing a member or revoking a session therefore takes effect at the CDN only when the 30 day refresh token expires, instead of after the 30 minute access token lifetime. Access is read-only and limited to organizations the account belonged to when the token was granted. This issue affects hex.pm: from 2025-10-10 before 2026-09-22.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: roccat: bound device-supplied profile index kone_keep_values_up_to_date() and kone_profile_activated() use an 8-bit, device-supplied profile value as an index into the 5-element kone->profiles[] array without a range check. A malicious USB device claiming the Roccat Kone id can send a switch-profile event (or a startup_profile read at probe) with an out-of-range value and make the driver read out of bounds; the result is exposed via the actual_dpi sysfs attribute. Reject out-of-range indices in both paths. This was found with static analysis and confirmed with the KUnit test added in the following patch (KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: meson: Keep link pointers valid on realloc failure meson_card_reallocate_links() grows the DAI link and private data arrays with two consecutive krealloc() calls and updates the owner pointers only after both calls have succeeded. A successful krealloc() may move the data: it frees the old block and returns a new one. When that happens for the link array and the second krealloc() then fails, card->dai_link still points to the block that krealloc() already freed, and the error path frees the new block too. The probe error path then calls meson_card_clean_references(), which dereferences card->dai_link and kfree()s it again, resulting in a use-after-free and a double free. Commit card->dai_link and card->num_links right after the first krealloc() succeeds, so the pointer always refers to a valid allocation that meson_card_clean_references() can walk and free. krealloc() with __GFP_ZERO zero-initializes the added entries, so walking them on the error path is safe. With both failure paths reduced to a plain return, drop the goto labels and the error message.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: liveupdate: Remember FLB retrieve() status LUO keeps track of successful retrieve attempts on an FLB. It does so to avoid multiple retrievals of the same FLB. Multiple retrievals cause problems because once the FLB is retrieved, the serialized data structures are likely freed and the FLB is likely in a very different state from what the code expects. All this works well when retrieve succeeds. When it fails, luo_flb_retrieve_one() returns the error immediately, without ever storing anywhere that a retrieve was attempted or what its error code was. If the user attempts to retrieve another file registered with the same FLB, LUO will attempt to call the FLB's retrieve() callback again. The retry is problematic for much of the same reasons listed above. The FLB is likely in a very different state than what the retrieve logic normally expects (e.g. some KHO pages may have already been restored and freed). There is no sane way of attempting the retrieve again. Remember the error retrieve returned and directly return it on a retry. This is done by changing the retrieved bool to a retrieve_status integer. A value of

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: ptrace: Keep 'orig_x0' in-sync with x0 on syscall entry Commit e057b9477232 ("arm64: syscall: Ensure saved x0 is kept in-sync with tracer updates") attempted to resolve a long-standing issue with syscall entry tracing, where a tracer is able to manipulate the first syscall argument without being subjected to seccomp or audit checking. Unfortunately, that fix was incomplete [1], as it failed to update 'orig_x0' between a tracer updating x0 during a seccomp ptrace exit (SECCOMP_RET_TRACE) and the seccomp filter being re-evaluated. Rather than add hooks to the core seccomp code, instead move the synchronisation code into the ptrace GPR and syscall setting code so that 'orig_x0' is kept up to date with x0 whenever we're stopped on the syscall entry path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: amba-pl011: keep console clock enabled for atomic writes pl011_console_write_atomic() runs from nbcon atomic context, where sleeping is not allowed. It calls clk_enable(), which takes the common-clk enable_lock. Under PREEMPT_RT that is a sleeping lock: clk_enable_lock() first tries spin_trylock_irqsave(), but on contention falls back to spin_lock_irqsave(). Therefore, an atomic-context printk on an RT kernel with a clk-backed pl011 can trip: BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at spinlock_rt.c:48 __might_resched from rt_spin_lock rt_spin_lock from clk_enable_lock clk_enable_lock from clk_enable clk_enable from pl011_console_write_atomic ... from vprintk_emit This was found and reproduced on PREEMPT_RT. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2/cluster: keep heartbeat local node stable o2nm_node_local_store() handles local=0 by stopping o2net and setting cl_local_node to O2NM_INVALID_NODE_NUM, but it leaves cl_has_local set. That stale state makes o2nm_this_node() return 255, blocks a later local=1 attempt with -EBUSY, and can feed 255 to heartbeat users that call o2nm_this_node() dynamically. Clearing cl_has_local is required when the local node is reset. But heartbeat threads can still be running at that point. They pin the local node config item at startup, yet o2hb_do_disk_heartbeat() and thread teardown re-read o2nm_this_node() for the local slot and for o2nm_undepend_this_node(). Once local=0 has cleared the live local-node state, those dynamic reads return O2NM_MAX_NODES, which is also the invalid node number 255. Store the local node number in the heartbeat region when the region starts. Use that stable node for heartbeat slot writes/checks, negotiation messages, and the final configfs undepend. Stop the heartbeat loop when the current local node no longer matches the stored node, and clear cl_has_local together with cl_local_node

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: usbtv: keep device alive while ALSA card exists The ALSA PCM callbacks store the driver state in pcm->private_data. An open PCM file can outlive USB disconnect because usbtv_audio_free() uses snd_card_free_when_closed(). The disconnect path can then drop the V4L2 device reference and free struct usbtv before ALSA releases the substream, so a later close dereferences freed memory in snd_usbtv_pcm_close(). Take a V4L2 device reference for the ALSA card and drop it from the card private_free callback. This keeps struct usbtv valid until ALSA has closed the remaining files and freed the card.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memcg: keep folio's objcg same as its node memcg_reparent_objcgs() has an inherent assumption that a folio's objcg is the objcg of the folio's node. Folio migration across nodes breaks that assumption: the new folio simply inherits the old folio's objcg while living on a different node. Once the assumption is broken, the reparenting of the folio's objcg and the reparenting of the folio's LRU list are no longer atomic. memcg_reparent_objcgs() handles one node per iteration and drops all the locks in between, so the objcg gets reparented in the iteration for the objcg's node while the LRU list gets spliced in the iteration for the folio's node. Any LRU operation on that folio in between resolves its lruvec through the objcg, and thus takes the lru_lock of the wrong memcg, not the lru_lock of the list the folio is actually on. Fix this by selecting the objcg by folio_nid() at charge time, and by re-deriving it for the destination node in mem_cgroup_migrate() and mem_cgroup_replace_folio().

  • Sep 16, 2026An unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary fake log lines into Apache ZooKeeper's operational log by sending a crafted add_auth("ensemble", ...) request cCVE-2026-84501 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.3

An unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary fake log lines into Apache ZooKeeper's operational log by sending a crafted add_auth("ensemble", ...) request containing newline characters (\n). When the ensemble name doesn't match, EnsembleAuthenticationProvider.handleAuthentication() logs the raw, unsanitized name via LOG.warn(). Because SLF4J's {} placeholder preserves embedded newlines, the attacker can forge complete log entries — with arbitrary timestamps, log levels, class names, and messages — that are visually indistinguishable from genuine ZooKeeper log output. This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper: from 3.9.0 through 3.9.5, from 3.8.0 through 3.8.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.8.7 or 3.9.6, which fixes the issue.

  • Sep 16, 2026When audit logging is enabled (zookeeper.audit.enable=true), an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary fields into Apache ZooKeeper's audit log by sendinCVE-2026-84439 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.3

When audit logging is enabled (zookeeper.audit.enable=true), an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary fields into Apache ZooKeeper's audit log by sending a digest authentication request with tab characters (\t) embedded in the username. Because the audit log uses tab-separated key=value format, the injected tabs are parsed as legitimate field separators, allowing the attacker to spoof audit results (e.g., injecting result=success), forge operation types, and corrupt forensic evidence. A log injection vulnerability in Apache ZooKeeper allows a client that can call setACL to inject forged key-value fields into zookeeper_audit.log. When audit logging is enabled, the server serializes attacker-controlled digest ACL ids into the acl= audit field without escaping tab characters. Because audit events are emitted as tab-separated key=value records, a crafted ACL id can make one successful setAcl event appear to contain forged fields such as operation=delete and znode=/forged. This undermines the integrity of downstream audit parsing, alerting, and incident response. This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper: from 3.9.0 through 3.9.5, from 3.8.0 through 3.8.6. The `deleteContainer` opcode (0x14/20) is processed without verifying the caller's ACL permissions, allowing any authenticated client to delete specific znodes in the data tree regardless of the ACL restrictions on the znode or its parent. This opcode is considered internal-only and the official client doesn't have API for it, but a client that can open a plain TCP session on the ZooKeeper client port (2181 by default) - with NO authentication and NO ACL permissions - can delete any empty persistent znode (including regular persistent nodes, container nodes, and TTL nodes) by issuing the raw protocol OpCode deleteContainer (20). The deleteContainer request path completely skips both the session check and the DELETE ACL check that are enforced by the regular delete (OpCode 2) path. This is an authorization bypass / ACL enforcement bug. Information disclosure via SetWatches reconnect replay in Apache ZooKeeper due to missing ACL check. An attacker can discover ACL-restricted paths by registering exists-watches on non-existent paths, then reconnecting after the paths are created with restricted ACLs. Issue is caused by incomplete fix for CVE-2024-23944 (ZOOKEEPER-4799). The fix added ACL checking to WatchManager.triggerWatch(). However, DataTree.setWatches() — the SetWatches/SetWatches2 reconnect replay handler — still calls watcher.process(event) with null ACL, bypassing the check entirely. It's important to note that only the path is exposed by this vulnerability, not the data of znode, but since znode path can contain sensitive information like user name or login ID, this issue is potentially critical. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.6, 3.8.7 which fixes the issue.

  • Sep 15, 2026MCP Memory Keeper is an MCP server for persistent context management in AI coding assistants.CVE-2026-54561 · Other software · mkreyman · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2

MCP Memory Keeper is an MCP server for persistent context management in AI coding assistants. Prior to 0.13.0, context_import in src/index.ts passes the caller-controlled filePath directly to fs.readFileSync without restricting the path to an export directory. An MCP client, including an LLM agent induced to call the tool, can use ../ traversal or an absolute path to target any file readable by the server process. A valid JSON file is parsed and imported into the caller's session, allowing its full contents to be retrieved through context_get or context_export, while JSON.parse errors for non-JSON files can return leading file bytes in a SyntaxError message. The two disclosure modes can expose other exported sessions, JSON credentials or service-account files, environment files, and portions of SSH keys or other local files. Zephyr's TLS socket layer in subsys/net/lib/sockets/sockets_tls.c keeps a single process-global array, client_cache, of cached client sessions that is shared by every TLS socket context. The functions that mutate and read it — tls_session_save(), tls_session_get(), tls_session_cache_reset(), and the settings restore handler — allocate, free, and dereference each entry's heap buffer (entry->session). Before the fix these accesses were serialized only by the per-socket context mutex ctx->lock (assigned per socket in ctx_set_lock()), which provides no mutual exclusion between different sockets touching the shared cache. Because CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_TLS_MAX_CLIENT_SESSION_COUNT defaults to 1, any two concurrent client sockets contend for the same slot. A thread in tls_session_get() reading entry->session inside mbedtls_ssl_session_load() can run concurrently with another thread in tls_session_save() that selects the same entry for reuse and executes mbedtls_free(entry->session) before reallocating — a use-after-free read, and a double-free when two saves evict the same entry. Description When ZooKeeper authentication is configured, Storm deliberately retains `storm.zookeeper.topology.auth.payload` in the topology configuration, because workers need it. Nimbus then served that configuration verbatim to any caller holding read-only topology permissions, so a user whose only grant was the ability to view a topology received its ZooKeeper credential. That credential is not read-only. The cluster state implementation uses write-capable ACLs for worker heartbeats, backpressure and error state, so a recipient can forge or remove that state for the topology concerned. It is not a write credential on assignments. The same advisory covers the submission client, which logged the generated payload at INFO on every submission that generated one, and the SASL handlers, which logged it at DEBUG. The credential therefore also reached any log aggregation or support bundle collected from the cluster. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the payload is removed from the configuration served to read-only callers and is no longer written to logs. The MQTT-SN client keepalive handler process_ping() in subsys/net/lib/mqtt_sn/mqtt_sn.c removes the gateway record after PINGREQ retries are exhausted. It invoked SYS_SLIST_PEEK_HEAD_CONTAINER(&client->gateways, gw, next) but discarded the result. That macro is a pure expression that does not assign to gw, so gw retained its NULL initializer regardless of the list contents. The code then dereferences the NULL gw (gw->gw_id) and passes it to mqtt_sn_gw_destroy(), reaching k_mem_slab_free(&gateways, NULL). With CONFIG_MEM_SLAB_POINTER_VALIDATE enabled this triggers k_panic(); in the default configuration it performs a write through the NULL pointer ((char )mem = slab->free_list;) and corrupts the slab free list. The outcome is a crash/kernel panic or, on targets where address 0 is writable, silent memory-allocator corruption. The vulnerable branch runs whenever the connected MQTT-SN gateway fails to answer keepalive PINGREQs for the configured number of retries. This condition is controlled by the remote peer: a malicious or compromised gateway, or an on-path/adjacent attacker that advertises itself as a gateway and then stops responding (or blackholes the real gateway's PINGRESPs)

An rq-level flag only works while dispatches and picks pair up one to one, which core scheduling breaks: selections interleave through dispatch's lock drops and a pick can consume a stale flag, keeping a task that has since been dequeued. Fixing core scheduling support requires the decision to travel with the dispatch that made it. Make scx_dispatch_sched() and balance_one() return an explicit verdict instead and drop the flag's plumbing from the tools autogen enum headers. Also factor the pick-side invocation, its follow-up queueing and the post-dispatch checks out of do_pick_task_scx() into dispatch_pick(). No functional changes intended. v2: Drop the SCX_RQ_BAL_KEEP plumbing from the tools autogen enum headers as well (Andrea).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mfd: qnap-mcu: keep the reply buffer alive past a command timeout qnap_mcu_exec() publishes an on-stack buffer to the receive path: unsigned char rx[QNAP_MCU_RX_BUFFER_SIZE]; ... reply->data = rx; reply->length = length; and qnap_mcu_receive_buf() writes into it from the serdev receive path, which runs out of flush_to_ldisc() and is not serialized against qnap_mcu_exec() at all. bus_lock cannot cover it, because qnap_mcu_exec() holds that mutex across wait_for_completion_timeout(). On a timeout qnap_mcu_exec() returns with reply->data still pointing at its own frame. A reply that arrives late, or an unsolicited message from the MCU, is then written into a stack frame that has been left, corrupting whatever runs next on that stack. The same applies when qnap_mcu_write() fails, since that path returns without touching the reply state either. Move the receive buffer into struct qnap_mcu. It is 37 bytes and the structure is devm_kzalloc()ed, so it lives as long as the driver, and a late write lands in memory that is still valid and is reinitialized by the next command. bus_lock keeps commands from sharing it.

Prior to version 0.7.1, revocation is the only in-band mechanism that isolates a compromised/offboarded host from a Nebula mesh. Because the blocklist never reaches any peer's config.yml, a Blocked host retains full overlay reachability to every peer under its CA (and internal services on the mesh) for up to 30d (agent) / 365d (mobile). An attacker who exfiltrates host.key+host.crt can run stock slackhq/nebula directly, ignore the agent's 403/410 poll responses, and stay connected after the operator revokes the host. Operator-visible state (UI shows blocked, audit log records it) is misleading. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.1.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.8, the web handler renderMobileBundle passes the real *pki.CAResolver directly into mobilebundle.Build. Inside Build, resolver.LoadByID decrypts the CA's ed25519 private key into a *pki.CAManager, but Build never calls CAManager.Wipe() on any return path. As a result, when a mobile-bundle request goes through the web UI and Build returns — especially on error (missing network, invalid prefix, DB error, signing failure) — the plaintext CA private key remains on the Go heap, unwiped, until garbage collection. An attacker able to read process memory (core dump, swap, memory-scraping) can recover the CA signing key, which would allow minting arbitrary host certificates for the mesh. The API handler already does this correctly: it loads the CAManager, defer caMgr.Wipe(), and wraps it in caManagerResolver. Only the web path is affected. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.8.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.7, two related authorization gaps let a host that should no longer be trusted obtain a fresh, valid Nebula certificate, because nebula-mgmt does not re-evaluate revocation/authorization state at certificate issuance time — only at poll time. Firstly, the blocklist is not enforced at sign / re-enroll time. internal/api/enroll.go:128 calls caMgr.Sign(...) without consulting the blocklist. The blocklist is only checked in the poll path (internal/api/updates.go:57, fingerprintInBlocklist). The blocklist is keyed by certificate fingerprint (internal/store/sqlite.go), so a re-enrollment produces a new fingerprint that is not in the blocklist. Secondly, renewal does not re-validate operator / CA status. Auto-renewal at poll time (internal/api/updates.go:285-319, signHostCert) reads host.Name, host.Groups, host.NebulaIPs from the DB and re-signs without checking whether the owning operator is still active or the CA still valid. DisableOperator (internal/store/sqlite_operators.go) revokes sessions and API keys but does not retire the operator's CAs, and pki/signer.go checks only CA cert time-expiry, n

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_tcm: keep port count until LUN teardown completes tcm_usbg_drop_nexus() permits session removal once tpg_port_count reaches zero. However, usbg_port_unlink() currently decrements that count from the fabric_pre_unlink() callback, before core_dev_del_lun() waits for active se_lun references to drain. If removal of the last LUN races a nexus removal, the latter can observe a zero port count and call target_remove_session(). This frees sess_cmd_map while an in-flight struct usbg_cmd, including its work item, can still be accessed. Overlapping the last-LUN unlink with nexus removal reproduces this lifetime violation as a DEBUG_OBJECTS "free active" warning for usbg_cmd_work, followed by a target-core BUG/Oops. The generic target-core unlink path has no callback after core_dev_del_lun() completes. Add an optional fabric_post_unlink() callback and use it for the f_tcm port count. The count now remains nonzero until core_dev_del_lun() has finished draining active LUN references, preventing nexus removal from freeing the session during command completion.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: avoid lock inversion in nat keepalive work nat_keepalive_work() walks the state table while xfrm_state_walk() holds net->xfrm.xfrm_state_lock. Its callback then acquires x->lock, which conflicts with the delete path taking the same locks in reverse order via xfrm_state_delete() and __xfrm_state_delete(). This creates an AB-BA deadlock that is reported by lockdep when a NAT keepalive worker races with SA deletion. Fix this by splitting the keepalive walk into two phases. First, collect the candidate states while the walk holds xfrm_state_lock and take a reference on each state. Then, after the walk completes, process each collected state and acquire x->lock without nesting it under xfrm_state_lock.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/packet: defer vmalloc TX_RING free until skbs finish AF_PACKET TX_RING skbs keep a raw pointer to their ring frame. The skb page references preserve page-backed ring blocks after pg_vec is freed, but they do not preserve a vmalloc mapping. tpacket_destruct_skb() currently drops the pending reference before writing the timestamp and TP_STATUS_AVAILABLE to the frame. Move the decrement after those stores. The smp_wmb() in __packet_set_status() orders the frame stores before the decrement. Also recheck pending TX frames under pg_vec_lock before non-closing ring replacement, so a racing send cannot add a pending skb between the initial check and the ring swap. Ring allocation can produce a mixture of page-backed and vmalloc-backed blocks. Allocate deferred-work storage during TX ring setup when the first vmalloc-backed block is encountered, and keep its pointer in the pg_vec allocation header. If allocation fails, return -ENOMEM from ring setup. On socket close, a non-NULL pointer identifies a vmalloc-backed vector without a scan. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: keep the last remote linked during FDB flush A non-nexthop FDB entry is expected to have at least one remote while it remains reachable through the FDB hash table. A filtered bulk flush violates this invariant when every remote matches: It unlinks the last remote in vxlan_fdb_dst_destroy() and only afterwards tells vxlan_flush() to destroy the parent FDB entry. An RCU reader can find the parent during this interval. first_remote_rcu() then applies list_entry_rcu() to the empty list head, producing an invalid remote pointer that the receive learning path can read from and write to. When a matching remote is the sole remaining remote, leave it linked and ask the caller to destroy the entire FDB entry. vxlan_fdb_destroy() keeps the remote attached while sending the deletion notification and removing the parent from the lookup structures.

That does not hold on the hid-input error path. If hidinput_connect() fails -- for instance because input_register_device() returns an error -- it unwinds through hidinput_disconnect(), which frees every input_dev it created, including the one cached in msc->input. The failure does not abort the probe. hid_connect() only skips the claim: if ((connect_mask & HID_CONNECT_HIDINPUT) && !hidinput_connect(hdev, connect_mask & HID_CONNECT_HIDINPUT_FORCE)) hdev->claimed |= HID_CLAIMED_INPUT; and the "device has no listeners" bailout below it does not fire for this driver, which sets ->raw_event; on the USB Magic Mouse 2 / Magic Trackpad 2 paths hidraw and hiddev are claimed as well. hid_hw_start() therefore returns 0 and magicmouse_probe() continues with msc->input pointing at freed memory. Zephyr's WireGuard implementation in subsys/net/lib/wireguard/wg_crypto.c mishandled keepalive packets. In wg_process_data_message(), any type-4 transport-data message whose payload was exactly 16 bytes (an empty plaintext plus a bare Poly1305 tag, i.e. a keepalive) was accepted and returned immediately, before wg_decrypt_packet() was ever called. The Poly1305 authentication tag was therefore never verified; the only preceding gates were a cleartext receiver-index lookup (get_peer_keypair_for_index() on the attacker-supplied data_hdr->receiver) and a non-cryptographic keypair validity/expiry check. The path is reachable entirely from the network: inbound UDP on the WireGuard port is dispatched by wg_input() to handle_transport_data() and then wg_process_data_message(). The 32-bit receiver index is transmitted in cleartext in WireGuard handshake and data messages, so an on-path observer learns it directly and an off-path attacker can brute-force it against the UDP port. If that transport is removed - sctp_assoc_rm_peer() from an ASCONF Delete-IP - sctp_transport_free() RCU-frees it and the chunk is left with a dangling pointer. sctp_assoc_rm_peer() scrubs peer->transmitted and asoc->outqueue.out_chunk_list, but the chunk is on neither. keeper.sh's calendar module version prior to 2.18.14 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) guard bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to reach private network addresses by exploiting a DNS rebinding attack against the two-phase URL validation and connection flow. The SSRF guard validates a hostname's resolved IP addresses but discards them before the actual HTTP connection is opened, allowing an attacker who controls authoritative DNS to return a public address during validation and a private address during the subsequent independent socket-level DNS resolution, causing the guard to pass while the outbound connection reaches internal infrastructure such as cloud instance metadata endpoints.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
