  • Nov 6, 2026Wanderer is a self-hosted trail database for saving and sharing adventures.CVE-2026-71495 · Other software · open-wanderer · reported by GitHubCritical 10

Wanderer is a self-hosted trail database for saving and sharing adventures. Prior to 0.20.0, when PUBLIC_PRIVATE_INSTANCE is not set to true, the unauthenticated POST /api/v1/trail/download handler passes the attacker-controlled JSON url field directly to event.fetch() and returns the fetched response. This allows requests to internal services such as db:8090 and search:7700, cloud metadata addresses, and other network destinations, exposing returned data and permitting internal network reconnaissance or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 0.20.0.

  • Nov 6, 2026Wanderer is a self-hosted trail database for saving and sharing adventures.CVE-2026-62346 · Other software · open-wanderer · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6

Wanderer is a self-hosted trail database for saving and sharing adventures. Prior to 0.19.3, an authenticated local user can submit crafted waypoint.name and waypoint.icon values that the trail elevation graph interpolates into an innerHTML template in web/src/lib/vendor/maplibre-elevation-profile/elevationprofile.ts without HTML encoding or icon validation. A victim viewing the elevation profile executes the attacker-controlled script in their browser. Separately, federated waypoints can deliver the same malicious fields across instances without requiring the attacker to have a local account on the receiving instance. The script can expose session data or perform actions in the victim's context. This issue is fixed in version 0.19.3.

Wanderer is a self-hosted trail database for saving and sharing adventures. Prior to 0.19.3, an authenticated user can store a crafted waypoint.icon value that createMarkerFromWaypoint() passes into FontawesomeMarker, where insertAdjacentHTML inserts the unvalidated value into map marker markup. • Nov 6, 2026GROBID is machine learning software for extracting information from scholarly documents.CVE-2026-123357 · Other software · grobidOrg · reported by GitHubNone

GROBID is machine learning software for extracting information from scholarly documents. Prior to 0.9.1, the Linux non-server PDF conversion path in grobid-core/src/main/java/org/grobid/core/document/DocumentSource.java passes an attacker-influenced PDF filename through DocumentSource.pdfalto, which interpolates the path into a bash -c command string. A single quote in the filename can terminate the intended quoting, and ProcessRunner.run in grobid-core/src/main/java/org/grobid/core/process/ProcessRunner.java starts the resulting command through ProcessBuilder, allowing arbitrary commands to execute with GROBID process privileges. The bundled REST server path is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.1.

  • Nov 6, 2026DDEV is an open-source tool for running local web development environments for PHP and Node.js.CVE-2026-108262 · Other software · ddev · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

DDEV is an open-source tool for running local web development environments for PHP and Node.js. From 1.25.2 until 1.25.4, Untar in pkg/archive/archive.go validates an absolute tar symlink target after rebasing it beneath dest, but creates the symlink with the raw absolute Linkname. A crafted archive can therefore plant a host-absolute symlink and use a following regular-file entry to write outside the extraction directory. The flaw is reachable through remote add-on retrieval and database or file imports, and overwriting shell startup files, Git hooks, or cron entries can lead to code execution in the DDEV user's context. Unzip is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.25.4.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen-netback: defer xenvif_mcast_addr_list_free() In order for the function to legitimately avoid locking/RCU, it needs to run after all TX/RX processing has finished/stopped: Lookups happen from xenvif_start_xmit(), while adds/removes happen from xenvif_tx_action() (called out of xenvif_poll()). Move the call out of xenvif_disconnect_data() (the call to the function from connect()'s error path doesn't require any cleaning up there), and put it past the synchronization point in backend_disconnect(). This is XSA-527 / CVE-2026-100081.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen-netback: Fix UAF when reading statistics data The network statistic data in the driver is protected by RCU. Unfortunately when tearing down the queues after an error during connecting to the frontend (e.g. due to illegal Xenstore data filled in by the guest), the statistic data is being freed without synchronizing the RCU state. In case the data is being read via sysfs in this phase, access to already freed memory or memory being in new use is possible. Fix that by calling synchronize_net() before freeing the queue data. FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.230, a pre-authenticated attacker can place HTML in a failed-login email value that is copied through monitored user activity into a queued SendAlert job. If alert delivery fails, the serialized payload is stored in failed_jobs and the administrator job-details endpoint renders it after a blacklist sanitizer that leaves executable event-handler attributes. When an administrator opens /system/ajax-html/job_details/{id} as a top-level page, the raw fragment lacks the normal layout policy and attacker-controlled JavaScript can perform same-origin administrator actions. Logs Monitoring for users, a failed alert email job, queue failure storage, and top-level administrator interaction are all required; the normal modal path is not affected in the tested configuration. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.230.

The Gradle Shadow plugin creates fat or uber JARs and supports file transformation and package relocation. Prior to version 9.6.0, Shadow does not independently validate ZIP entry names before writing them to its output archive. A malicious dependency can cause traversal entry names to be preserved when the applicable archive-processing path does not reject them. Some affected Shadow implementations process dependency archives directly, so upgrading Gradle alone does not universally prevent this behavior. If the resulting archive is extracted without path traversal protection, attacker-controlled files can be written outside the intended destination. This issue is fixed in version 9.6.0.

The Symfony Config component XmlUtils::parse() enables DTD validation before rejecting documents that carry a doctype, allowing XML external entity (XXE) injection in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. A remote attacker who can supply XML to this method can determine whether local files exist, cause a denial of service, and, in some configurations, exfiltrate local file content via a crafted XML document whose doctype declares an external file:// entity. XmlUtils::parse() sets $dom->validateOnParse = true before calling loadXML() and only rejects documents carrying a doctype afterwards. Enabling DTD validation makes libxml resolve external entities during loadXML(), and LIBXML_NONET blocks http:// but not file://, so a file:// entity is read from disk before the doctype rejection runs. The content of the file is not returned to the caller, but the distinct libxml error for a missing path reveals whether a file exists, and an entity pointing at a large or slow file causes a denial of service. If the application registers a network-capable stream wrapper such as s3://, a parameter entity can also send the content of a

From 3.5.0-beta.0 until 3.12.15, 3.13.7, and 3.14.0-beta.19, the dicom-pdf extension reads the attacker-controlled MIMETypeOfEncapsulatedDocument value in extensions/dicom-pdf/src/getSopClassHandlerModule.js and uses it as the Blob media type for the attacker-controlled EncapsulatedDocument bytes. When a victim opens Encapsulated PDF SOP Class 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.104.1, extensions/dicom-pdf/src/viewports/OHIFCornerstonePdfViewport.tsx embeds the Blob URL in an object element. Nuxt Content is the file-based CMS for Nuxt applications, powered by Markdown and Vue components. From 3.0.0 until 3.15.2, the unauthenticated POST /__nuxt_content/:collection/query endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled sql field in src/runtime/api/query.post.ts and permits expensive SQLite expressions. Version 3.0.0 performed no query validation; in affected releases using assertSafeQuery in src/runtime/internal/security.ts, the reported validation gap rejects a short list of SQL command keywords in WHERE clauses but permits function calls including randomblob(), zeroblob(), hex(), and length(). The query reaches the synchronous better-sqlite3 sink in src/runtime/internal/database.server.ts, allowing a single remote request to consume substantial CPU and memory while blocking the Node.js event loop and all concurrent request handling. • Nov 6, 2026Kroki creates diagrams from textual descriptions.CVE-2026-102359 · Other software · yuzutech · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Kroki creates diagrams from textual descriptions. Prior to 0.31.2, the TikZ backend's tikz/tikz2svg guard used when KROKI_SAFE_MODE is enabled blocks only \verbatiminput while allowing native TeX file-read primitives including \openin, \read, \input, and \include. TeX Live's permissive openin_any setting remains active, so an unauthenticated actor can submit crafted LaTeX to POST /tikz/svg or the generic diagram API and cause the renderer to read any file accessible to the Kroki container user. The file contents are rendered into the returned SVG, which may disclose mounted secrets, configuration data, credentials, private keys, or process environment data. The -no-shell-escape option prevents shell execution but does not restrict these native file operations. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.2.

  • Nov 6, 2026Kroki creates diagrams from textual descriptions.CVE-2026-102356 · Other software · yuzutech · reported by GitHubMedium 5

Kroki creates diagrams from textual descriptions. From 0.26.0 until 0.31.2, the optional Mermaid companion's mermaid/src/worker.js renders attacker-controlled flowchart image nodes in headless Chromium without a network request policy, even when KROKI_SAFE_MODE is set to secure. An actor who can submit Mermaid source and satisfy any authentication or authorization configured by the deployment can cause the companion to issue HTTP or HTTPS GET requests when requesting PNG output. Exploitation requires the Mermaid companion, PNG rendering through its headless Chromium process, a diagram-submission path available to the actor, and network reachability from the companion to the target. The demonstrated impact is limited to blind request reachability and possible state-changing GET endpoints; response exfiltration, cloud metadata access, port scanning, and access beyond the companion's network reachability are not established. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.2.

FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.230, multiple outbound paths in Helper::downloadRemoteFile(), Helper::checkPort(), Helper::sanitizeRemoteUrl(), MailboxesController.php, and ModulesController.php do not consistently enforce a sink-level restricted-host policy. An authenticated administrator, or another authenticated user permitted to change mailbox connection settings or trigger module update or installation paths, can supply attacker-controlled URLs or hosts. The independent download and port-test sinks can reach encoded or otherwise uncovered loopback and internal addresses. The redirect-validation bypass additionally requires a configured whitelist that permits the original and final hosts while a restricted internal host appears only as an intermediate redirect hop. No unauthenticated SSRF path is established. The server can consequently contact loopback and internal services, provide a blind internal port oracle, and retrieve internal HTTP responses into application-controlled download sinks.
