  • Aug 20, 2026n8n before 1.123.69, 2.x before 2.33.4, and 2.x before 2.34.1 contain an allowed-domains bypass in the GraphQL node.CVE-2026-77081 · Other software · n8n-io · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1

n8n before 1.123.69, 2.x before 2.33.4, and 2.x before 2.34.1 contain an allowed-domains bypass in the GraphQL node. When the node's Authentication parameter is set to expression mode, every authentication-gated credential selector is treated as active; if two credentials of different types are attached, the node enforces the allowed-domains policy of only the first credential while still attaching material from both. An authenticated user with workflow-authoring rights can thereby send a domain-restricted credential to an attacker-controlled endpoint, exfiltrating it with the leaked credential's permissions.

  • Aug 20, 2026n8n versions before 1.123.69, 2.33.4, and 2.34.1 contain an information disclosure vulnerability in the GraphQL node.CVE-2026-77076 · Other software · n8n-io · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

n8n versions before 1.123.69, 2.33.4, and 2.34.1 contain an information disclosure vulnerability in the GraphQL node. When a GraphQL request fails at the connection level, the node re-throws the underlying HTTP client error unchanged instead of wrapping it in n8n's standard error type. That error contains the live request's headers, including a decrypted credential secret, which the execution engine persists verbatim. Any authenticated user able to read the resulting execution can retrieve the decrypted credential secret from the stored run data.

  • Aug 18, 2026@neo4j/graphql from 5.2.0 until the patched versions fails to enforce field-level @authentication rules on root custom-resolver fields when a type-level @authenCVE-2026-19869 · Other software · neo4j · reported by 3b236295-4ccd-4a1f-a1c1-a72eecc8d7b6High 7.6

@neo4j/graphql from 5.2.0 until the patched versions fails to enforce field-level @authentication rules on root custom-resolver fields when a type-level @authentication rule is also present on the same operation type. When both a type-level @authentication (on Query/Mutation) and a field-level @authentication (on a root custom-resolver field within that type) are declared, only the type-level rule is evaluated and the field-level rule is silently discarded. As a result a stricter per-field requirement — such as an admin-role JWT claim (jwt: { roles_INCLUDES: "admin" }) — is never checked, and any client that satisfies the coarser type-level requirement can invoke the more-restricted field. No token forgery is involved: a legitimately issued, correctly signed non-admin token (e.g. roles: ["user"]) is sufficient.

  • Aug 11, 2026Craft CMS versions >= 5.0.0-RC1 before 5.10.6 and >= 4.0.0-RC1 before 4.18.2 contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the GraphQL save<Volume>AsseCVE-2026-72784 · Other software · craftcms · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

Craft CMS versions >= 5.0.0-RC1 before 5.10.6 and >= 4.0.0-RC1 before 4.18.2 contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the GraphQL save<Volume>Asset mutation, which fetches an attacker-supplied URL server-side. The anti-SSRF validation is incomplete: validateIp() does not cover CGNAT (100.64.0.0/10) or NAT64 (64:ff9b::/96) ranges, and the only IP check runs after the request has already been issued. An attacker holding a GraphQL token scoped only to asset-creation permissions can disclose internal HTTP content from CGNAT/NAT64 targets, force outbound GET requests to internal hosts (including RFC1918, loopback, and metadata endpoints), and enumerate internal services.

  • Aug 6, 2026@neo4j/graphql library versions prior to 7.5.6 fail to verify the authenticity of a client-supplied, pre-decoded JWT object passed through GraphQL subscription CVE-2026-5423 · Other software · neo4j · reported by 3b236295-4ccd-4a1f-a1c1-a72eecc8d7b6High 8.2

@neo4j/graphql library versions prior to 7.5.6 fail to verify the authenticity of a client-supplied, pre-decoded JWT object passed through GraphQL subscription connectionParams. As a result, any unauthenticated remote client that can open a GraphQL-over-WebSocket connection can forge arbitrary JWT claims (e.g. sub, roles) in connectionParams.jwt and have them accepted as authenticated identity for the purposes of @authentication and @subscriptionsAuthorization directive evaluation. This allows a fully unauthenticated attacker to receive subscription events that should be restricted to specific authenticated roles/users. Upgrade the library to versions 7.5.6+ or 5.12.14+. v6 is end-of-life and will not receive a fix.

Parse Server versions >= 9.0.0 before 9.10.0-alpha.5 and >= 8.2.2 before 8.6.86 return GraphQL validation error messages that name required custom input fields even when public introspection is disabled (graphQLPublicIntrospection: false, the default). A client holding only the public application id — with no user session, master key, or maintenance key — can trigger validation errors to learn the names of required (non-null) custom fields on classes it already references by name, partially defeating the schema-hiding intent of disabling public introspection. No stored data, credentials, optional field names, unreferenced class names, or Cloud Code function names are exposed.

  • Jul 21, 2026Nhost is an open source Firebase alternative with GraphQL.CVE-2026-47671 · Other software · nhost · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Nhost is an open source Firebase alternative with GraphQL. In versions of Nhost CLI prior to 1.46.0, the hidden `nhost configserver` used by `nhost dev` exposes the Mimir GraphQL API with dummy authorization directives and permissive CORS. When a developer is running the local development environment, any process that can reach the developer's localhost service, including a web page loaded from an arbitrary origin, can query the configserver for local Nhost configuration and secrets and can mutate the local `.secrets` file. This impacts developers using `nhost dev`: project admin secrets, JWT signing keys, webhook secrets, Grafana credentials, and custom environment variables can be read, and attacker-controlled secrets can be written to the local development project. Version 1.46.0 of Nhost CLI contains a fix.

Dgraph is an open source distributed GraphQL database. Prior to version 25.3.5, Dgraph Alpha exposes the RPCs used for external snapshot import on the public gRPC port `:9080` without authentication or authorization. As a result, an unauthenticated network client can open `StreamExtSnapshot` and send Badger stream data to the target group’s store. In addition, the receiver calls `Prepare()` before processing the stream. This operation deletes and replaces the existing DB data. Version 25.3.5 patches the issue.

  • Jul 1, 2026API Platform Core is a system to create hypermedia-driven REST and GraphQL APIs.CVE-2026-54164 · Other software · api-platform · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

API Platform Core is a system to create hypermedia-driven REST and GraphQL APIs. In versions prior to 4.1.30, 4.2.26 and 4.3.12, the serializer's AbstractItemNormalizer does not validate the resource type returned when resolving relation IRIs, allowing type confusion where a resource of an unintended type can be silently assigned to a relation property. An attacker who can submit write requests (POST/PUT/PATCH) to an API Platform endpoint with writable relations can supply a relation IRI pointing to a resource of a different type than the relation's declared class. Because getResourceFromIri() does not pass an $operation to IriConverter::getResourceFromIri(), the is_a type guard at IriConverter.php:86 is skipped. For untyped relation properties (legacy @var-only style), the wrong-typed object is silently assigned, corrupting invariants and potentially feeding downstream logic that assumes the declared type (CWE-843). For typed properties (modern PHP 8.x), the substitution is blocked by Symfony's PropertyAccessor with an InvalidTypeException. This issue has been fixed in versions 4.1.30, 4.2.26 and 4.3.12.

  • Jul 1, 2026API Platform Core is a system to create hypermedia-driven REST and GraphQL APIs.CVE-2026-49858 · Other software · api-platform · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

API Platform Core is a system to create hypermedia-driven REST and GraphQL APIs. In versions from 2.6.0 prior to 4.1.29, 4.2.26, and 4.3.12, a missing isCacheKeySafe gate in the JSON:API and HAL item normalizers causes a cross-user attribute leak. #[ApiProperty(security: ...)] is evaluated per request to decide whether a property is exposed. The componentsCache arrays in ApiPlatform\JsonApi\Serializer\ItemNormalizer and ApiPlatform\Hal\Serializer\ItemNormalizer are keyed on $context['cache_key'], which is set unconditionally before delegating to the parent normalizer. The component structure (attributes, relationships, links) computed for one request can therefore be reused for a subsequent request whose user has a different set of accessible properties. A user with lower privileges may end up seeing the structure of properties that the security predicate would otherwise have hidden for them. This issue has been fixed in versions 4.1.29, 4.2.26, and 4.3.12.

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in a GraphQL service component shared by Altium Enterprise Server and Altium 365. An authenticated user can submit a request whose input is treated as a URL by the server and used to issue an outbound HTTP GET request without URL validation or destination filtering. The response body is then returned to the user. This allows an authenticated attacker to reach internal services and metadata endpoints that would not otherwise be accessible from the public network, and to retrieve their contents. The impact is information disclosure and internal infrastructure reconnaissance; the request primitive is limited to HTTP GET with no custom headers. Altium Enterprise Server is fixed in 8.1.1; the issue has been remediated in Altium 365 at the service level.

While it correctly counts static aliases within the AST it does not consider how many times a fragments internal aliases are expanded during execution. this allows an attacker to bypass alias limits and force the server to resolve and render a significantly higher number of aliases than allowed, potentially leading to a dos via resource exhaustion. Version 0.315.7 contains a fix for the issue.

Strawberry GraphQL is a library for creating GraphQL APIs. In versions 0.71.0 through 0.315.6, the QueryDepthLimiter extension is vulnerable to an Application-level DOS due to a lack of cycle detection in fragment spreads. When a query contains circular fragment references the determine_depth function enters an infinite recursion, leading to a RecursionError and crashing the validation process. Version 0.315.7 patches the issue.

  • May 21, 2026In mlflow/mlflow versions up to 3.9.0, the `SearchModelVersions` REST API endpoint and the `mlflowSearchModelVersions` GraphQL query lack proper per-model authoCVE-2026-2734 · Other software · mlflow · reported by security@huntr.devMedium 6.5

In mlflow/mlflow versions up to 3.9.0, the `SearchModelVersions` REST API endpoint and the `mlflowSearchModelVersions` GraphQL query lack proper per-model authorization checks when basic authentication is enabled. This allows any authenticated user to enumerate all model versions across all registered models, regardless of their permission level. The issue arises due to the absence of `SearchModelVersions` in the `BEFORE_REQUEST_VALIDATORS` and `AFTER_REQUEST_HANDLERS` for the REST API, and its omission from `GraphQLAuthorizationMiddleware.PROTECTED_FIELDS` for GraphQL. This vulnerability can expose sensitive information such as model names, version descriptions, source URIs, tags, and other metadata, potentially revealing proprietary or confidential details in multi-tenant environments. The issue is resolved in version 3.10.0.

Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity vulnerability in absinthe-graphql absinthe allows unauthenticated denial of service via quadratic fragment-name uniqueness validation. 'Elixir.Absinthe.Phase.Document.Validation.UniqueFragmentNames':run/2 iterates over all fragments and for each one calls duplicate?/2, which evaluates Enum.count(fragments, &(&1.name == name)) — a full linear scan of the fragment list. The result is O(N²) comparisons per document, where N is the number of fragment definitions supplied by the caller. Because input.fragments is built directly from the GraphQL query body, N is fully attacker-controlled. A minimum-size fragment definition is roughly 16 bytes, so a ~1 MB document carries ~60,000 fragments and forces ~3.6 × 10⁹ comparisons inside this single validation phase. No authentication, schema knowledge, or special configuration is required. This issue affects absinthe: from 1.2.0 before 1.10.2.

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in absinthe-graphql absinthe allows unauthenticated denial of service via atom table exhaustion when parsing attacker-controlled GraphQL SDL. Multiple Blueprint.Draft.convert/2 implementations in Absinthe's SDL language modules call String.to_atom/1 on attacker-controlled names from parsed GraphQL SDL documents, including directive names, field names, type names, and argument names. Because atoms are never garbage-collected and the BEAM atom table has a fixed limit (default 1,048,576), each unique name permanently consumes one slot. An attacker can exhaust the atom table by submitting SDL documents containing enough unique names, causing the Erlang VM to abort with system_limit and taking down the entire node. Any application that passes attacker-controlled GraphQL SDL through Absinthe's parser is exposed — for example, a schema-upload endpoint, a federation gateway that ingests remote SDL, or any developer tool that runs the parser over user-supplied documents. This issue affects absinthe: from 1.5.0 before 1.10.2.

  • May 8, 2026Nhost is an open source Firebase alternative with GraphQL.CVE-2026-41574 · Other software · nhost · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Nhost is an open source Firebase alternative with GraphQL. Prior to version 0.49.1, Nhost automatically links an incoming OAuth identity to an existing Nhost account when the email addresses match. This is only safe when the email has been verified by the OAuth provider. Nhost's controller trusts a profile.EmailVerified boolean that is set by each provider adapter. The vulnerability is that several provider adapters do not correctly populate this field they either silently drop a verified field the provider API actually returns (Discord), or they fall back to accepting unconfirmed emails and marking them as verified (Bitbucket). Two Microsoft providers (AzureAD, EntraID) derive the email from non-ownership-proving fields like the user principal name, then mark it verified. The result is that an attacker can present an email they don't own to Nhost, have the OAuth identity merged into the victim's account, and receive a full authenticated session. This issue has been patched in version 0.49.1.

Dgraph is an open source distributed GraphQL database. Prior to 25.3.3, Dgraphl exposes the process command line through the unauthenticated /debug/vars endpoint on Alpha. Because the admin token is commonly supplied via the --security "token=..." startup flag, an unauthenticated attacker can retrieve that token and replay it in the X-Dgraph-AuthToken header to access admin-only endpoints. This is a variant of the previously fixed /debug/pprof/cmdline issue, but the current fix is incomplete because it blocks only /debug/pprof/cmdline and still serves http.DefaultServeMux, which includes expvar's /debug/vars handler. This vulnerability is fixed in 25.3.3.

  • Apr 24, 2026Dgraph is an open source distributed GraphQL database.CVE-2026-41328 · Other software · dgraph-io · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Dgraph is an open source distributed GraphQL database. Prior to 25.3.3, a vulnerability has been found in Dgraph that gives an unauthenticated attacker full read access to every piece of data in the database. This affects Dgraph's default configuration where ACL is not enabled. The attack requires two HTTP POSTs to port 8080. The first sets up a schema predicate with @unique @index(exact) @lang via /alter (also unauthenticated in default config). The second sends a crafted JSON mutation to /mutate?commitNow=true where a JSON key contains the predicate name followed by @ and a DQL injection payload in the language tag position. The injection exploits the addQueryIfUnique function in edgraph/server.go, which constructs DQL queries using fmt.Sprintf with unsanitized predicateName that includes the raw pred.Lang value. The Lang field is extracted from JSON mutation keys by x.PredicateLang(), which splits on @, and is never validated by any function in the codebase. The attacker injects a closing parenthesis to escape the eq() function, adds an arbitrary named query block, and uses a # comment to neutralize trailing template syntax. The injected query executes server-side and its result

This affects Dgraph's default configuration where ACL is not enabled. The attack is a single HTTP POST to /mutate?commitNow=true containing a crafted cond field in an upsert mutation. No escaping, parameterization, or structural validation is applied. An attacker injects an additional DQL query block into the cond string, which the DQL parser accepts as a syntactically valid named query block. The injected query executes server-side and its results are returned in the HTTP response. This vulnerability is fixed in 25.3.3.

  • Apr 17, 2026Hot Chocolate is an open-source GraphQL server.CVE-2026-40324 · Other software · ChilliCream · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Hot Chocolate is an open-source GraphQL server. Prior to versions 12.22.7, 13.9.16, 14.3.1, and 15.1.14, Hot Chocolate's recursive descent parser `Utf8GraphQLParser` has no recursion depth limit. A crafted GraphQL document with deeply nested selection sets, object values, list values, or list types can trigger a `StackOverflowException` on payloads as small as 40 KB. Because `StackOverflowException` is uncatchable in .NET (since .NET 2.0), the entire worker process is terminated immediately. All in-flight HTTP requests, background `IHostedService` tasks, and open WebSocket subscriptions on that worker are dropped. The orchestrator (Kubernetes, IIS, etc.) must restart the process. This occurs before any validation rules run — `MaxExecutionDepth`, complexity analyzers, persisted query allow-lists, and custom `IDocumentValidatorRule` implementations cannot intercept the crash because `Utf8GraphQLParser.Parse` is invoked before validation. The `MaxAllowedFields=2048` limit does not help because the crashing payloads contain very few fields. The fix in versions 12.22.7, 13.9.16, 14.3.1, and 15.1.14 adds a `MaxAllowedRecursionDepth` option to `ParserOptions` with a safe default, and enfo

  • Apr 9, 2026Apollo MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that exposes GraphQL operations as MCP tools.CVE-2026-35577 · Other software · apollographql · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

Apollo MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that exposes GraphQL operations as MCP tools. Prior to version 1.7.0, the Apollo MCP Server did not validate the Host header on incoming HTTP requests when using StreamableHTTP transport. In configurations where an HTTP-based MCP server is run on localhost without additional authentication or network-level controls, this could potentially allow a malicious website—visited by a user running the server locally—to use DNS rebinding techniques to bypass same-origin policy restrictions and issue requests to the local MCP server. If successfully exploited, this could allow an attacker to invoke tools or access resources exposed by the MCP server on behalf of the local user. This issue is limited to HTTP-based transport modes (StreamableHTTP). It does not affect servers using stdio transport. The practical risk is further reduced in deployments that use authentication, network-level access controls, or are not bound to localhost. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.0.
