Oct 5, 2026In Progress® Telerik® Fiddler® Classic for Windows, versions prior to v6.0.20262.10021, front-end request desynchronization is possible in the proxy request forCVE-2026-77803 · Other software · Progress Software · reported by security@progress.comLow 3.6
In Progress® Telerik® Fiddler® Classic for Windows, versions prior to v6.0.20262.10021, front-end request desynchronization is possible in the proxy request forwarding component. A request that contains both a Content-Length and a Transfer-Encoding header is forwarded with both headers present, while Fiddler frames the body using Transfer-Encoding only. The remaining bytes on the reused client connection are then parsed as a separate pipelined request, so a local threat actor with low privileges can cause a single malformed request to be split into two requests forwarded to the origin server and receive an additional smuggled response, without requiring a vulnerable server.

Oct 3, 2026WPFront Notification Bar: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-93896 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The WPFront Notification Bar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 3.5.1. This is due to the debug-log output path (write_debug_logs) reflecting the raw value of $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] through vprintf() directly inside a <script> block emitted on wp_footer, without any sanitization or escaping (see the 'Current URL is "%s"' log entry produced by the URL-text display filter in the filter() method). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix readahead synchronisation issues by loading all folios upfront There are some sCVE-2026-98118 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix readahead synchronisation issues by loading all folios upfront There are some synchronisation issues that derive from the app thread adding more folios to the rolling buffer whilst the collector thread is looking at them or trying to clear them, such as determining the setting of front_folio_order when the next folio hasn't been added yet, The reason for the rolling buffer approach is that loading the buffer upfront and then dropping all the refs just acquired is quite a slow operation, and loading progressively allows some of the cost to be deferred until after at least some of the I/O is started. Instead, a better way is to load all the folios into the rolling buffer upfront - and then drop the refs later, once the I/O is in progress. (Even better would be for the refs not to be there at all.) Fix this by changing the rolling buffer loader to load all the folios selected by the VM for readahead upfront into the folio queue. The folio queue is allocated a batch worth at a time as we don't know how many folios are involved (the readahead_control struct, alas, has a page count, not a folio count).

copyparty contains a volume restriction bypass vulnerability in its SFTP front end that allows authenticated SFTP users to create, remove, and truncate arbitrary paths outside permitted volume boundaries by exploiting three handlers that bypass the xvol volflag enforcement. The _mkdir, _rmdir, and _chattr handlers construct destination paths using vfs.get(), vn.canonical(), and os.path.join() without invoking the chk_ap access check, enabling attackers to traverse symlinks leaving a volume's top directory and perform unauthorized file creation, deletion, or truncation via SSH_FXP_SETSTAT operations on paths outside any volume the account is authorized to access.

Sep 23, 2026An Improper Authentication vulnerability in the Apache Doris Frontend (FE) meta service allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access internal metadata seCVE-2026-31377 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
An Improper Authentication vulnerability in the Apache Doris Frontend (FE) meta service allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access internal metadata service endpoints. The affected endpoints relied on client-supplied node information for authentication without providing sufficient authentication of the requesting party. Under certain network configurations, a remote attacker may be able to bypass the intended access control and access internal FE metadata interfaces, potentially exposing sensitive cluster information. This issue affects Apache Doris: from 2.0.0 through 2.0.*, from 2.1.0 through 2.1.*, from 3.0.0 through 3.0.*, from 3.1.0 through 3.1.*, from 4.0.0 before 4.0.8, and from 4.1.0 before 4.1.4. Versions 1.2.x and earlier are not affected by this header-trust vulnerability. Users are recommended to upgrade to a fixed release (4.0.8 or 4.1.4), which fixes the issue.

The Tauri updater plugin's 'check' IPC command accepts an allowDowngrades boolean parameter directly from frontend JavaScript code. When set to true, it replaces the version comparator from "update must be newer" to "update must be different." Because the default permission set grants allow-check to the webview, any XSS in the app frontend can invoke this command and bypass the only anti-rollback protection the updater offers. Combined with another bug, this enables downgrade attacks without even needing to fake a higher version number.

Sep 17, 2026pgAdmin 4's Webserver authentication source is intended to accept an identity asserted by the web server or reverse proxy in front of pgAdmin, delivered throughCVE-2026-86863 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Critical 9.3
pgAdmin 4's Webserver authentication source is intended to accept an identity asserted by the web server or reverse proxy in front of pgAdmin, delivered through the WSGI/CGI environment. WebserverAuthentication.get_user() read config.WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER from request.environ and, when that returned nothing, fell back to reading the same name directly from the inbound HTTP request headers via request.headers.get(). An inbound HTTP header is written by whoever sends the request, so any client able to reach pgAdmin could supply that header itself and be authenticated as any username it named, including an existing Administrator, without presenting a password or any other credential. The environment lookup could also be satisfied by a client-supplied header whenever WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER was configured to an HTTP_-prefixed or hyphenated name such as HTTP_X_FORWARDED_USER or X-Forwarded-User, since WSGI servers place inbound headers into the environment under exactly those names. Deployments are affected only when 'webserver' is enabled in AUTHENTICATION_SOURCES. The fix distinguishes a genuine CGI/WSGI variable from a header-derived one and implicitly trusts only the former. Sep 15, 2026FrontMCP is a TypeScript-first framework for the Model Context Protocol (MCP).CVE-2026-59973 · Other software · agentfront · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
FrontMCP is a TypeScript-first framework for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). From mcp-from-openapi 2.3.0 until 2.5.0 and from frontmcp and @frontmcp/adapters 1.2.1 until 1.5.0, libs/adapters/src/openapi/openapi.adapter.ts loadOpenAPISpec() forwards untrusted OpenAPI url and spec inputs and loadOptions.refResolution to OpenAPIToolGenerator.fromURL() and OpenAPIToolGenerator.fromJSON(). The external $ref guard checks parsed hostname strings without resolving addresses, pinning validated addresses, revalidating redirect targets, or normalizing IPv4-mapped IPv6. An authenticated user who can import or configure an OpenAPI specification in a hosted or multi-user deployment can use DNS-to-loopback resolution, redirect-to-loopback behavior, or IPv4-mapped IPv6 loopback forms to cause backend-origin requests to internal services. This can expose internal administrative APIs, metadata-like services, and other private network endpoints. The practical impact is lower when only a trusted local administrator can configure OpenAPI specs, and disabling external reference protocols prevents the external $ref request. This issue is fixed in mcp-from-openapi 2.5.0 and frontmcp and @frontmcp/adapte

Sep 11, 2026AirSane is a SANE frontend, and a scanner server that supports Apple's AirScan protocol.CVE-2026-54135 · Other software · SimulPiscator · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
AirSane is a SANE frontend, and a scanner server that supports Apple's AirScan protocol. Versions prior to 0.4.12 have a vulnerability in the custom HTTP server implementation of AirSane that allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via memory exhaustion (OOM). In httpserver.cpp, the HttpServer::Request::content function reads the Content-Length header and directly passes this value to std::string::resize() without any upper-bound validation or safe parsing. An attacker can send an HTTP POST request with an artificially large Content-Length value. This forces the daemon to attempt allocating gigabytes of memory, resulting in a std::bad_alloc exception and immediately crashing the AirSane process. Additionally, providing non-numeric characters in the Content-Length header leads to undefined behavior (NaN to integer conversion) due to the lack of error handling during header parsing. Version 0.4.12 patches the issue.

Sep 10, 2026Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to an authorization bypass (IDOR) because the frontend calendar lightbox endpoint (/ccm/calendar/view_event/{bID}/{ocCVE-2026-18121 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 6.3
Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to an authorization bypass (IDOR) because the frontend calendar lightbox endpoint (/ccm/calendar/view_event/{bID}/{occurrence_id}) does not verify that the caller is permitted to view the calendar that owns the requested event occurrence. The controller loads the occurrence directly from an attacker‑supplied, sequential identifier without confirming that it belongs to the calendar configured on the referenced block. An unauthenticated visitor who can render any public calendar block with lightbox properties enabled could therefore supply an arbitrary occurrence identifier and disclose event metadata — title, date, description, page link, and configured event attributes — from calendars they are not permitted to view. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks riodrwn for reporting.

Sep 5, 2026Frontend Admin by DynamiApps: Authentication Bypass to Account TakeoverCVE-2026-75816 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Frontend Admin by DynamiApps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass to Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 3.29.12. This is due to the pre_update_value function lacking any capability or ownership check, and ActionPost::conditions_logic() short-circuiting its current_user_can('edit_post') authorization gate whenever the post ID is non-numeric — such as the string user_1 — allowing unauthenticated form submissions to be routed to arbitrary user records without restriction. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite any user's registered email address, including an administrator's, and then leverage WordPress's native password-reset flow to fully take over the targeted account.

- What to do
- Affects up to 3.29.12. Update Frontend Admin by DynamiApps to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
