Oct 9, 2026Apache CXF's FIQL query parser has a vulnerability in how it searches for operators in query expressions.CVE-2026-86463 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
Apache CXF's FIQL query parser has a vulnerability in how it searches for operators in query expressions. The search pattern can get stuck trying many combinations when it encounters a long string without an operator, causing the parser to consume excessive CPU time. An attacker can send a crafted query to make the server use up CPU resources, potentially slowing down or stopping other requests. The fix was to limit FIQL expressions to 4 KiB by default, preventing attackers from sending extremely long inputs while still allowing normal queries. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.

Oct 6, 2026Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity (CWE-1333) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Regular Expression Exponential Blowup (CAPEC-492).CVE-2026-102408 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 4.3
Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity (CWE-1333) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Regular Expression Exponential Blowup (CAPEC-492). The ES|QL CHUNK function's recursive chunking strategy accepts a list of user-supplied regular expressions used as text-splitting separators, without validating their computational complexity or bounding their execution time. An authenticated user with read access to any text-based index can submit a specially crafted regular expression that triggers catastrophic backtracking, consuming excessive CPU on Elasticsearch worker threads and degrading query throughput for other tenants on the affected node. Oct 5, 2026The NXP GAU ADC driver (drivers/adc/adc_mcux_gau_adc.c) validated the caller-supplied sequence->buffer_size, which is expressed in bytes, against the number of CVE-2026-19184 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 8.4
The NXP GAU ADC driver (drivers/adc/adc_mcux_gau_adc.c) validated the caller-supplied sequence->buffer_size, which is expressed in bytes, against the number of active channels, which is a sample count. It then stored that byte count directly in data->results_length and used it in mcux_gau_adc_read_samples() as the number of uint16_t slots available. Because each conversion result occupies sizeof(uint16_t) bytes, a buffer that was accepted as "large enough" could be written with up to twice its size in bytes, so every sample past the buffer's midpoint was written out of bounds. adc_read() and adc_read_async() are Zephyr system calls. The syscall verifier in drivers/adc/adc_handlers.c only confirms that the caller owns buffer_size writable bytes (K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_WRITE); deciding whether that size is sufficient for the requested channels and extra_samplings is delegated entirely to the driver. On a build with CONFIG_USERSPACE=y, a user-mode thread that has been granted the ADC device object could therefore submit a deliberately half-sized buffer and cause the driver's work-queue handler — which runs in supervisor mode, outside the caller's MPU restrictions — to write ADC conversion

Sep 29, 2026Serialize JavaScript serializes JavaScript values to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions and functions.CVE-2026-97711 · Other software · yahoo · reported by GitHubLow 2.3
Serialize JavaScript serializes JavaScript values to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions and functions. From 7.1.1 until 7.1.2, function values serialized by serialize-javascript are not fully protected against script-closing tags in attacker-influenced function source because SCRIPT_CLOSE_REGEXP can consume a second closing tag inside one match. When the serialized function is embedded in a script element, the surviving closing tag terminates the element early and causes the remaining output to be parsed as HTML, enabling cross-site scripting in the page origin. Only function values are affected; ordinary data values and options.isJSON output are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Sep 29, 2026Apache Airflow's Google provider built Google Drive search expressions by interpolating file and folder names directly into single-quoted string literals, withoCVE-2026-81914 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 4.3
Apache Airflow's Google provider built Google Drive search expressions by interpolating file and folder names directly into single-quoted string literals, without escaping the quote character that delimits them. A name containing an apostrophe therefore terminated the literal early and appended clauses of the attacker's choosing to the query. The names are frequently not written by the Dag author. In a wildcard `gcs_to_gdrive` transfer they come from the source bucket listing, so anyone able to create objects in that bucket controls them — typically an external data producer or an ingest-only service account, a different trust principal from the Dag author. An injected clause can broaden the match and so steer which file or folder the hook resolves: an upload can be directed into a folder the attacker named, and, because downloads select the most recently modified match, a download can return a file they placed rather than the one the Dag asked for. Affects deployments passing externally-sourced names to the Google Drive hook, including wildcard `gcs_to_gdrive` transfers from buckets writable by less-trusted principals. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow-providers-go

Sep 25, 2026Optima Express IDX: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-93901 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.3
The Optima Express IDX plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.5. This is due to the `provisionBlogCredentials()` function in `iHomefinderAdmin.php` being reachable via the `wp_ajax_nopriv_ihf_clear_cache` AJAX action — through the call chain `iHomefinderAjaxHandler::clearCache()` → `activateAuthenticationToken()` → `getAuthenticationInfo()` → `provisionBlogCredentials()` — with no capability check, nonce verification, or ownership validation, and the function unconditionally calling `$user->set_role('author')` on whichever WordPress account matches the hard-coded login `optima-express` via `get_user_by('login', 'optima-express')`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to escalate a pre-registered `optima-express` account to the Author role, gaining `publish_posts`, `upload_files`, and `edit_published_posts` capabilities, including access to the plugin's own `/wp-json/optima-express/v1/blog-post` REST endpoint. Exploitation requires open user registration to be enabled on the target site, and the attacker must register the `optima-express` username before the plugin has had the opportunity to provision that

Sep 22, 2026NumberInput.looksLikeValidNumber() in FasterXML jackson-core pre-validates "stringified numbers" with two regular expressions: PATTERN_FLOAT ([+-]?[0-9]*[\.]?[0CVE-2026-89407 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
NumberInput.looksLikeValidNumber() in FasterXML jackson-core pre-validates "stringified numbers" with two regular expressions: PATTERN_FLOAT ([+-]?[0-9]*[\.]?[0-9]+([eE][+-]?[0-9]+)?), present since 2.17.0, and PATTERN_FLOAT_TRAILING_DOT, added in 2.17.2. PATTERN_FLOAT places adjacent quantifiers over the same character class -- an optional [0-9]* run, an optional dot, then a required [0-9]+ run -- so input that ultimately fails to match forces Java's backtracking engine to retry every possible split point of the digit run. Matching cost therefore grows with the square of the input length. An attacker who can supply JSON that an application deserializes into a numeric target type reaches this method through jackson-databind's default String-to-number coercion (StdDeserializer and NumberDeserializers for BigDecimal, BigInteger, Double and Float). Because StreamReadConstraints.maxStringLength defaults to 20,000,000 characters, no constraint bounds the input before it reaches the regex. Testing by the reporter confirmed O(n^2) growth across five consecutive input-size doublings, with a single 160,000-character string consuming roughly 74 seconds in one call; a small nu

temporalio/sqlparser accepts SQL containing deeply nested unary expressions and can return a correspondingly deep abstract syntax tree without enforcing an applicable nesting limit. The library's String and Walk operations recursively traverse that tree. An application that parses attacker-controlled SQL and later formats or walks the returned tree can encounter a runtime-fatal Go stack overflow that terminates the process; Go panic recovery cannot contain this condition. Temporal Server passes caller-controlled query input through the affected parser in archival, visibility, and worker-query paths. In affected validation paths, the Server recursively formats an invalid expression while constructing an error. In a supported authenticated deployment, a caller with namespace read permission can terminate the receiving Frontend or Matching process. The dynamically confirmed ListWorkers route additionally requires at least one retained worker heartbeat. Repeated requests can sustain a denial of service. The issue affects availability only; no confidentiality or integrity impact was identified.

Add conditionals to release expression iif they represent an override. Use this new override_exprs flag to dump the dynset expression override to userspace. Sep 16, 2026joi (npm package `joi`, hapi.js) versions >=17.2.0 <17.13.7 and >=18.0.0 <18.2.6 are vulnerable to regular expression denial of service in the `Joi.string().isoCVE-2026-92599 · Other software · hapijs · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
joi (npm package `joi`, hapi.js) versions >=17.2.0 <17.13.7 and >=18.0.0 <18.2.6 are vulnerable to regular expression denial of service in the `Joi.string().isoDate()` validation rule. One of the regular expressions the rule applies to the input is unanchored, so a valid ISO date followed by a long run of fractional-second digits causes the regex engine to restart its search from every position in the string, yielding time proportional to the square of the input length (about 1.4 s for 64 KB of digits and about 22 s for 256 KB). A remote attacker who can supply a string to an isoDate validation can stall the application with a single request. Fixed in 17.13.7 and 18.2.6; as a workaround, cap the length of the string before it reaches joi.

Sep 16, 2026Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 exposed a legacy Express entry search endpoint that returned entry result JSON without invoking the canViewExpressEntries() permissionCVE-2026-18120 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 6.3
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 exposed a legacy Express entry search endpoint that returned entry result JSON without invoking the canViewExpressEntries() permission check applied by the normal dashboard and CSV Export flow. An unauthenticated visitor who knew or discovered an Express entity identifier could enumerate that entity's entry search results, disclosing attribute values intended to be restricted to privileged users. For Express entities that do not support entry-specific permissions (i.e., supportsEntrySpecificPermissions() returns false), per-entry permission filtering is additionally disabled via EntryList::ignorePermissions(). The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Daniel Powell for reporting.

Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 did not enforce a block-level edit-permission check on the Express Form block's control-management actions, which relied solely on CSRF token validation. Because the token is bound to the user and action rather than to a specific block, page, or form, an authenticated user with edit access to one Express Form could reuse a validly obtained token to add, modify, or delete controls on Express Forms they were not authorized to edit, including injecting a control whose value is later rendered as HTML to achieve stored XSS. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.0 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Yat Wu for reporting.

Sep 15, 2026Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the Express saved search preset delete and edit dialogs .CVE-2026-18423 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deLow 2.1
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the Express saved search preset delete and edit dialogs . An authenticated user holding only view permission on a single Express entity could therefore permanently delete, with no undo, or rename saved search presets owned by Express entities for which they had no permission, and a renamed preset name was displayed back to users of the targeted entity, enabling defacement or social engineering. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 rendered Express entry labels as raw HTML when displaying associated entries, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. An unauthenticated attacker could submit a payload through a public Express Form; it then executed in an administrator's dashboard session when the associated entry was viewed, or in the browser of any visitor to a page using an Express Entry List block with association columns, allowing actions to be performed with that user's privileges. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks v01demort for reporting.

Sep 15, 2026Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 was missing an authorization check on the Express entries advanced-search dashboard action.CVE-2026-68529 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deLow 2.1
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 was missing an authorization check on the Express entries advanced-search dashboard action. The advanced_search() method in DashboardSelectableExpressEntryListTrait resolved an Express entity directly from a user-supplied entity ID and rendered that entity's entries without invoking canViewExpressEntries(), the per-entity permission check that the sibling results() action enforced. An authenticated dashboard user holding view_express_entries on a single Express entity could read the entries of any other entity, including secret attribute values, by requesting the advanced-search action with that entity's ID, disclosing form submissions and CRM-style records across the per-entity permission boundary that Express is designed to enforce. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Winston Crooker for reporting.

Sep 15, 2026In Concrete CMS below version 9.5.3, the Address attribute's country-less text formatter skipped HTML-escaping, enabling stored XSS in Express association viewsCVE-2026-81898 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deHigh 7.5
In Concrete CMS below version 9.5.3, the Address attribute's country-less text formatter skipped HTML-escaping, enabling stored XSS in Express association views. A user able to submit an Address attribute could execute script in the session of any dashboard user who opened the affected entry. The unescaped branch was reachable because a non-required Address attribute accepted a blank country, and because several Express association templates (for example concrete/elements/express/form/view/dashboard/association.php) echoed the association label mask without applying h(). The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.5 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Sep 15, 2026In Concrete CMS below CMS 9.5.3, the save_control action in the Express entities forms dashboard controller did not validate the anti-CSRF token.CVE-2026-81897 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deHigh 7.7
In Concrete CMS below CMS 9.5.3, the save_control action in the Express entities forms dashboard controller did not validate the anti-CSRF token. By causing an authenticated administrator to submit a forged cross-site request, a remote attacker without credentials could write attacker-controlled headline and body values to an existing Express form Text control. Those values were emitted without output encoding by the Express form Text element, so the injected markup executed as persistent JavaScript for any administrator who later opened the affected entry, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.7 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Sep 15, 2026proxy-addr is a Node.js module that determines a request's client address behind trusted reverse proxies, and it backs Express req.ip and req.ips.CVE-2026-90711 · Other software · proxy-addr · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbCritical 9.1
proxy-addr is a Node.js module that determines a request's client address behind trusted reverse proxies, and it backs Express req.ip and req.ips. In versions 1.1.0 through 2.0.7, a trust subnet written in IPv4-mapped IPv6 notation with an IPv4-sized prefix, such as ::ffff:10.0.0.0/8 instead of the correct ::ffff:10.0.0.0/104, is accepted without error but trusts every IPv4 address on the internet rather than the block it names. Because the socket peer then becomes trusted at hop 0, any unauthenticated client can supply an arbitrary X-Forwarded-For header and control the address the application reads, which defeats IP-based access control, rate limiting, geolocation, and audit logging. This is a fail-open regression introduced in version 1.1.0. The issue is fixed in proxy-addr 2.0.8, and users should upgrade to 2.0.8 or later. As a workaround, ensure any IPv4-mapped IPv6 trust subnet uses a prefix length of at least 97, or express the range in plain IPv4 notation.

Sep 14, 2026ASTEVAL is an evaluator of Python expressions and statements.CVE-2026-55244 · Other software · lmfit · reported by GitHubMedium 5
ASTEVAL is an evaluator of Python expressions and statements. Prior to 1.0.9, FROM_PY in asteval/astutils.py exposes BaseException, SystemExit, KeyboardInterrupt, and GeneratorExit to expressions evaluated by asteval.Interpreter.eval(), while run() and eval() in asteval/asteval.py catch Exception rather than these non-Exception BaseException subclasses. When an attacker-controlled expression raises one of these classes, on_raise() passes the class to raise_exception(), and the resulting exception bypasses the interpreter's safety handlers and propagates into the calling application. A consuming service that evaluates untrusted expressions can therefore be terminated or have signal and cleanup handling disrupted, causing denial of service. The separately documented read-only open() capability is not part of this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.9.

Sep 11, 2026Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in the Express "Clear Entries" function (POST /index.php/dashboard/system/expresCVE-2026-81907 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 6.1
Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in the Express "Clear Entries" function (POST /index.php/dashboard/system/express/entities/delete_entries) because the controller records but does not enforce a failed CSRF token check, allowing the destructive operation to proceed when the token is missing or invalid. A remote unauthenticated attacker can force an authenticated administrator who visits an attacker-controlled page to permanently delete all entries belonging to an attacker-selected Express entity on a web application to which the administrator is currently authenticated. Because the default Contact Express object ships with a fixed entity UUID, the target identifier can be obtained without dashboard access. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:N/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Pratik Zanjurne for reporting.

Sep 11, 2026Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 evaluated the authorization check for an Express entry submission against the entity of the posted form rather than the entity identifCVE-2026-81916 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 5.1
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 evaluated the authorization check for an Express entry submission against the entity of the posted form rather than the entity identified by the dashboard route. As a result, a user permitted to add entries to one Express object could create entries in a different Express object outside their authorization scope, potentially polluting protected datasets, triggering workflows, or injecting content into administrative processes. The dashboard submit route resolved the mutated entity from the attacker-controlled route ID while the permission check validated the independently posted form's entity, and the submission proceeded because the two entities were never compared. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 5.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.
