Token Optimizer MCP measures token savings per AI coding agent, optimizes context, and shares a live local knowledge graph across 16 CLI clients. Prior to version 5.1.0, token-optimizer-mcp is vulnerable to OS command injection in the smart_user tool. Any MCP client that can call the smart_user tool can execute arbitrary shell commands through the username argument of the get-user-info operation. The commands execute with the privileges of the user running the token-optimizer-mcp server. This issue has been patched in version 5.1.0.

Token Optimizer MCP measures token savings per AI coding agent, optimizes context, and shares a live local knowledge graph across 16 CLI clients. Prior to version 5.1.0, the dashboard HTTP server in token-optimizer-mcp exposes /api/session-summary and /api/session-events with no authentication middleware — any network-accessible client can reach them without credentials. Both handlers concatenate the caller-supplied sessionId query parameter directly into a filesystem path via path.join, and Node.js normalizes .. segments at resolution time, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to read any .jsonl file reachable from the server's filesystem. This issue has been patched in version 5.1.0.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-100839 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.18.0, the guest kernel's ACPI/AML handling is vulnerable to an AML injection attack ("BadAML"). ACPI tables containing AML bytecode are passed from the untrusted host (QEMU) to the guest firmware (OVMF) and on to the Linux kernel, whose AML interpreter executes them. An attacker controlling the host — an assumed adversary in Contrast's threat model — can craft a table with malicious, Turing-complete AML bytecode that the guest kernel interprets with access to the full guest memory, including private pages, resulting in arbitrary code execution and disclosure or modification of confidential guest data. The issue affects the AMD SEV-SNP platforms Metal-QEMU-SNP and Metal-QEMU-SNP-GPU; Metal-QEMU-TDX is not affected because ACPI table contents are measured into RTMR 0 by OVMF on Intel TDX. Version v1.18.0 mitigates the attack by sandboxing the kernel AML interpreter so that it cannot read or write private memory pages. This weakness is not specific to Contrast but is generic to Confidential Computing setups that expose the ACPI interface to the host.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-100838 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.19.1, the Kata agent policies generated by the Contrast CLI contained a flaw in the CopyFile verification that allowed arbitrary writes to the guest root filesystem. A malicious process on the untrusted host able to connect to the Kata agent VSOCK could issue a series of CopyFile requests to overwrite security-critical files in the guest or trick the workload into disclosing sensitive data, effectively amounting to a full guest takeover. Users unable to upgrade can apply an equivalent rego policy fix passed to 'contrast generate --policy'.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast (Edgeless Systems) through 1.20.0 performs unanchored suffix matching when selecting per-registry configuration in the imagepuller.CVE-2026-100837 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.3

Contrast (Edgeless Systems) through 1.20.0 performs unanchored suffix matching when selecting per-registry configuration in the imagepuller. Config.registryFor strips a single trailing dot and then uses strings.HasSuffix(hostname, fqdn) without requiring a DNS label boundary, so a registry entry such as [registries."ghcr.io."] is also applied to any host whose name merely ends in that byte sequence, including attacker-registered domains such as evilghcr.io. When an image or layer is pulled from such a sibling domain, the imagepuller sends the configured Authorization header (basic auth, registry token, or identity token), trusts the configured custom CA bundle, follows the configured mirror, and honours insecure-skip-verify (disabling TLS verification) for that host. Image integrity is not affected, as image bytes remain pinned by digest in the policy and are validated after the pull. Configurations that use a leading dot (e.g., [registries.".example.registry"]) are unaffected.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast before 1.16.0 is susceptible to remote attestation relay attacks.CVE-2026-100835 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.1

Contrast before 1.16.0 is susceptible to remote attestation relay attacks. Contrast accepted any TEE attestation report that verified correctly and contained the expected firmware patch levels and software measurements, regardless of which machine produced it, so attestation was not bound to specific, physically trusted hardware. An attacker who can both intercept network traffic between the CLI and the Coordinator (or between the Coordinator and an attested component) and forge reports or extract secrets from any single TEE machine under their physical control can relay such a report to impersonate a Contrast Coordinator or a Contrast workload, defeating identity verification in Contrast's attested TLS (aTLS).

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast (edgelesssys/contrast) versions 1.14.0 before 1.23.1 generate runtime policies that fail to detect all container image substitutions.CVE-2026-100833 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

Contrast (edgelesssys/contrast) versions 1.14.0 before 1.23.1 generate runtime policies that fail to detect all container image substitutions. A bad rebase during a Kata Containers update accidentally introduced an `allow_storage` rule that accepts storage entries using the `image_guest_pull` driver without verifying the image digest. An attacker with access to the Kata agent API — for example, a Kubernetes cluster administrator in Contrast's threat model — can therefore substitute a container image with an exploit payload, provided the substituted image satisfies the remaining policy rules, undermining the confidential container's integrity guarantees.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2025-71426 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.4.1, a recovering Coordinator does not verify the seed supplied by the recovering party. An attacker can therefore stand up a rogue Coordinator whose manifest passes validation but whose secret seed is attacker-controlled. If network traffic is redirected from the legitimate Coordinator to the attacker's Coordinator, a workload owner can be impersonated when they either set a new manifest without comparing the returned root CA certificate against the existing one (the default behavior of the contrast CLI) or verify the Coordinator without comparing the root CA certificate against a trusted reference. Under these conditions the attacker can issue certificates that chain back to the rogue Coordinator's root CA and recover arbitrary workload secrets of workloads deployed after the attack. Secrets of the legitimate Coordinator (seed, workload secrets, CA), workload integrity, and certificates chaining to the mesh CA are not affected.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast (Edgeless Systems) before 1.8.1 logs the workload secret to stderr, and thus to Kubernetes logs, when the Contrast initializer is configured with CONTRCVE-2025-71425 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

Contrast (Edgeless Systems) before 1.8.1 logs the workload secret to stderr, and thus to Kubernetes logs, when the Contrast initializer is configured with CONTRAST_LOG_LEVEL set to info or debug. Because info is the default, all installations that do not customize the initializer log level are affected. This exposes workload secrets — normally accessible only to the Contrast Coordinator, the initializer, the seedshare owner, and the workload owner — to Kubernetes users with get or list permission on pods/logs and to anyone with read access to the Kubernetes log storage, such as the cloud provider. Deployments that do not use workload secrets are unaffected.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast, Edgeless Systems' runtime for confidential containers on Kubernetes, is affected in versions up to and including 1.9.0.CVE-2025-71424 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1

Contrast, Edgeless Systems' runtime for confidential containers on Kubernetes, is affected in versions up to and including 1.9.0. The VOLUME directive in a Dockerfile (config.volumes in the OCI image configuration) is only a hint and is not handled specially by Kubernetes, but containerd adds a mount point for it when Kubernetes sets none, requiring the runtime to be able to push arbitrary data to the Kata agent. As a result, on bare-metal Contrast deployments (AKS deployments are not affected) that run an image declaring at least one VOLUME for which no Kubernetes mount exists at that path, the untrusted host can write arbitrary file trees below that mount point inside the confidential container, compromising the integrity of a directory that is typically important to the application's core functionality. Version 1.9.1 fixes the issue by disallowing this configuration in `contrast generate`.

  • Sep 26, 2026Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2025-71423 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions 1.9.0 before 1.12.2, the initializer logs the full NewMeshCert response — which contains the workload secret — to standard output at INFO level. As a result, workload secrets are exposed to any Kubernetes user with get or list permission on pods/logs. Because workload secrets are used for encrypted storage and Vault integration, those must also be considered compromised. This is a regression of GHSA-h5f8-crrq-4pw8.

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a Kubernetes runtime for confidential containers.CVE-2025-71422 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

Contrast is a Kubernetes runtime for confidential containers. In versions before 1.12.1, the secure persistent volume feature is vulnerable to a malicious host supplying a crafted LUKS2 volume to a pod VM. LUKS2 volume metadata is not authenticated and, with cryptsetup versions prior to 2.8.1, a header specifying the null keyslot encryption algorithm (cipher_null-ecb) is accepted without error. Because the Contrast Initializer assumes a device is protected if `cryptsetup open` succeeds with the secret seed, the guest will open the attacker-supplied volume and write secret data in plaintext, or under a volume key known to the attacker, allowing the host to read confidential data that should have been encrypted. Contrast v1.12.1 ships cryptsetup 2.8.1, which disables null ciphers in keyslots when the passphrase is non-empty; v1.13.0 adds detached-header validation in guest memory and integrity protection for secure persistent storage. Contrast persistent volumes were not integrity protected, so integrity impact is not considered.

  • Sep 26, 2026SiYuan is a self-hosted personal knowledge management system.CVE-2026-100646 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

SiYuan is a self-hosted personal knowledge management system. In versions up to and including 3.8.3, the kernel's authentication guards (CheckAuth in kernel/model/session.go and IsSessionOriginAllowed in kernel/util/net.go) fail open when the HTTP Origin header is absent, on the incorrect assumption that any browser-initiated cross-site request carries an Origin. Because browsers omit Origin on cross-site top-level GET navigations and no-cors GET subresource loads — and the session cookie is SameSite=Lax — a single cross-site GET issued from any attacker-controlled web page is granted RoleAdministrator, both on default installations with no access-authorization code and on password-protected instances with a live session. Combined with content-type sniffing on the /api/network/proxy endpoint, which allows attacker-controlled HTML to be served under SiYuan's own origin, this permits an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary script in the SiYuan origin (http://127.0.0.1:6806), invoke administrator APIs, and exfiltrate the persistent kernel API token. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.4.

  • Sep 26, 2026SiYuan is a self-hosted personal knowledge management system.CVE-2026-100633 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

SiYuan is a self-hosted personal knowledge management system. In versions 3.8.0 through 3.8.3, the MCP file tool's sensitive-path guard (util.IsForbiddenAbsPath(), invoked from resolvePath()) is applied only to the allowed root of recursive operations and not to each resolved descendant path — an incomplete fix for GHSA-c8r8-95hg-mp34. An authenticated administrator using the in-app Agent or the external MCP server can therefore bypass the protected-workspace-file denylist: file.grep can return matching lines from non-hidden protected descendants (for example conf/conf.json, TLS keys, data/snippets/conf.json, data/templates/, data/.siyuan/publishAccess.json, notebook .siyuan internals, or the kernel log), file.copy can copy protected descendants to an ordinary path where file.read can then retrieve them, and unzip can overwrite protected descendants using ordinary, lexically contained ZIP member names. Because file.grep is globally classified as a safe action, it receives no per-call confirmation, and the confirmation cards for file.copy and unzip show only the allowed root arguments. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.4. Suggested title: SiYuan 3.8.0 through 3.8.3 Sensitive-Path G

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: backtrack_insn(): Handle ld_{abs,ind} subprog exit edge Nicholas Carlini reported a bug in precision backtracking mechanism for BPF_LD | BPF_{IND,ABS} instructions. These instructions are modelled as two branches: - fallthrough; - implicit exit from current subprogram. The implicit exit case was not handled by the backtrack_insn() function. When backtracking such a path backtrack_insn() did not call bt_subprog_enter(), which meant that backtracking continued manipulating precision marks in a caller frame, while looking at instructions in a callee frame. This lead to segmentation faults during verification (see the selftest), or unsound state pruning.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: don't WARN on kernel job timeout when device already wedged igt@xe_wedged@wedged-at-any-timeout wedges the device in mode 2 (UPON_ANY_HANG_NO_RESET) and then rebinds the driver. During unbind, a GSC proxy kernel submission can still time out; with the device wedged and the GuC CT stopped it can never complete, so its kernel job times out. FastGPT is an open-source LLM platform for building AI applications on a knowledge base. Prior to 4.15.2, the safe Axios request interceptor in packages/service/common/api/axios.ts validates a hostname with isInternalAddress() before a later HTTP connection performs an independent DNS lookup, creating a DNS rebinding window, allowing an attacker-controlled hostname to resolve publicly during the check and to a loopback, private, link-local, or metadata address during connection. An authenticated attacker who can supply a URL to a safe-Axios-backed HTTP tool, workflow HTTP node, external file fetch, or other server-side integration can use this time-of-check/time-of-use gap to reach services that direct private-address inputs would block. The same independent re-resolution occurs after manual redirect hops because each redirect target is checked before a separate connection lookup. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.2.

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, When ignore_path_parameters_in_path_matching is enabled, Envoy's router strips the semicolon suffix before matching but the RBAC url_path matcher evaluates the raw path. A downstream request such as /admin;x can therefore miss a DENY rule for /admin while the router still selects the protected /admin backend. The inconsistent canonicalization allows an unauthenticated client to bypass path-based authorization. The relevant scope boundary is that the route option and a path-based RBAC rule must both be present, and the protected route must match after stripping. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's URL normalization does not recognize dot and dotdot path segments when they carry semicolon parameters. A request such as /user/..;foo=bar/admin is therefore not canonicalized to /admin even when path normalization is enabled. If an upstream interprets the segment according to RFC 3986 while Envoy applies routing or RBAC to the uncollapsed path, a remote client can cause path confusion and bypass path-based security policy. The relevant scope boundary is that the security consequence depends on a downstream/upstream path interpretation mismatch or a path-based Envoy decision. Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy normally matches the raw request path, while servlet backends such as Apache Tomcat strip semicolon matrix parameters from each path segment before resolving the resource. Envoy's ignore_path_parameters_in_path_matching option instead truncates at the first semicolon and still does not match per-segment backend behavior. A remote client can use a parameterized protected segment, or a parameter on an earlier segment, to make Envoy select an unprotected fallback while the backend resolves the protected resource. The relevant scope boundary is that the bypass requires both a path-based Envoy decision and a backend that strips semicolon parameters per segment. Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy HTTP RBAC accepts RFC-valid opaque header bytes but evaluates safe_regex values with RE2's UTF-8 subject semantics. A downstream client can preserve a prohibited marker and add an unrelated obs-text octet, causing RE2::FullMatch to return false and a negative RBAC policy to treat the invalid subject as an ordinary no-match. A byte-oriented route matcher can still observe the marker, allowing the request to reach a route intended to be denied. The relevant scope boundary is that plain positive ALLOW regexes normally fail closed, and exact, prefix, suffix, and contains matchers are not shown to have this subject-domain failure. • Sep 21, 2026Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications.CVE-2026-73549 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's Utility::copyInternetAddressAndPort and QUIC client-address paths reconstruct scoped IPv6 addresses through addressAsString and Ipv6Instance. The string includes a percent scope identifier that inet_pton cannot parse, causing an exception or abort. Kernel-provided scoped IPv6 destinations in ORIGINAL_DST transparent-proxy deployments, and affected QUIC connection paths, can therefore terminate the process. The relevant scope boundary is that the HTTP use_http_header override rejects scoped addresses earlier; the advisory's crash path requires a kernel-provided original destination or the affected QUIC path. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy forwards data for a configured non-WebSocket HTTP upgrade before the upstream accepts the upgrade. An unauthenticated HTTP/2 client can place a complete HTTP/1.1 request in extended CONNECT data; Envoy downgrades the request, writes the data unframed to a keep-alive HTTP/1.1 upstream, and returns the socket to the shared pool while the smuggled response remains queued. A different downstream client can then receive the attacker's response. The relevant scope boundary is that webSocket upgrades, plain CONNECT, disabled backend keep-alive, per-downstream pools, and max_requests_per_connection set to 1 are not affected by the demonstrated path. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's ext_authz filter assumes that a request contains a :path pseudoheader when applying query_parameters_to_set or query_parameters_to_remove from an authorization response. A path-less CONNECT request makes request_headers_->Path() return null, and Filter::onComplete dereferences that pointer while parsing the query string. An unauthenticated downstream client can crash the Envoy process when the filter and authorization response use query-parameter mutation. The relevant scope boundary is that the deployment must accept path-less CONNECT and configure ext_authz query-parameter mutation. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's /stats?format=html admin endpoint uses StatsHtmlRender, which sanitizes string statistic values but emits statistic names without HTML encoding. A data-plane component such as grpc_stats with stats_for_all_methods enabled can incorporate attacker-controlled path segments into cached dynamic statistic names. When an operator views the HTML stats page, the stored name can execute script with the admin interface's origin and issue privileged same-origin requests. The relevant scope boundary is that the admin interface must be browser-accessible and an enabled component must persist attacker-influenced text in statistic names. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's optional oghttp2 upstream HTTP/2 codec accepts a response trailer HEADERS frame without END_STREAM. Envoy completes and deferred-deletes the ActiveRequest while oghttp2 keeps the stream open, leaving ClientStreamImpl with a dangling response_decoder_ reference. A later frame on the stream can dispatch through the freed object and crash the process. The relevant scope boundary is that the default nghttp2 codec rejects the malformed trailers, and the trigger is upstream-only with oghttp2 enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.

Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's HttpDatagramHandler caches the current RequestDecoder when Capsule Protocol is enabled. Stream recreation, including an internal redirect, replaces the ActiveStream and updates EnvoyQuicServerStream but does not update the handler's cached pointer. A subsequent HTTP/3 datagram can call decodeData through the freed decoder, causing invalid virtual dispatch and a process crash. The relevant scope boundary is that hTTP/3 datagrams and Capsule Protocol must be enabled, and the request must enter a stream-recreation path such as an internal redirect. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.

Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's HTTP external-authorization client can retain a stale request callback after a request is rejected. When RawHttpClientImpl::onSuccess later processes the authorization response, it can invoke callbacks_ after the callback owner has been destroyed, causing a use-after-free and process crash under production traffic. The relevant scope boundary is that the vulnerable path uses the HTTP ext_authz client; the advisory does not establish the same trigger for unrelated filters. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's ProdClusterManagerFactory::allocateConnPool dereferences transport_socket_options while selecting an HTTP/3 connection pool without first checking whether the pointer is null. LoadBalancerContext implementations used by synthetic, mirror, health-check, and async-client calls can return no transport-socket options. With auto_config and HTTP/3 enabled, routine traffic reaching one of those contexts can crash an Envoy worker. The relevant scope boundary is that the affected branch requires HTTP/3 in the protocol set and a context that supplies no transport-socket options. • Sep 21, 2026KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge.CVE-2026-62369 · Other software · kubeedge · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge. From 1.16.0 until 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1, the DecompressTarGz function in keadm/cmd/keadm/app/cmd/util/common.go joins archive entry names to the extraction destination without sufficient validation. During keadm join or installation on Windows edge nodes, an archive influenced through a compromised, replaced, or untrusted download source can contain parent-directory components, Windows-style backslashes, absolute paths, or drive-prefixed paths that escape the intended directory. The affected keadm process can consequently write or overwrite files with its own privileges, potentially modifying configuration, executable, or service files and enabling persistent system modification or code execution. • Sep 17, 2026Glean is a self-hosted RSS reader and personal knowledge management tool.CVE-2026-54339 · Other software · LeslieLeung · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

Glean is a self-hosted RSS reader and personal knowledge management tool. Prior to 0.2.6, POST /api/feeds/discover passes an attacker-supplied feed_url to discover_feed(feed_url), creates a subscription through FeedService.create_subscription(), and enqueues fetch_feed_task. The background path calls fetch_feed(feed.url) and parse_feed(), which assigns each RSS item link to ParsedEntry.url. The task then passes ParsedEntry.url to fetch_and_extract_fulltext(parsed_entry.url) without network-level validation in backend/packages/rss/glean_rss/extractor.py and backend/apps/worker/glean_worker/tasks/feed_fetcher.py. A malicious feed can therefore make the server request private, loopback, link-local, or cloud-metadata resources. The fetched response is stored in Entry.content and can be retrieved through GET /api/entries/{id}, producing non-blind server-side request forgery with full response disclosure. This can bypass network perimeters, probe internal services and ports, expose internal configuration or web content, and potentially disclose cloud metadata access tokens. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.6.
