  • Sep 5, 2026Divi: DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3853 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Divi theme for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `image_src` attribute of the `et_pb_video_slider_item` shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.27.6. This is due to the `image_src` field not being included in the `$url_options` whitelist (which only contains `url`, `button_link`, `button_url`), so it never receives `esc_url_raw()` at save time. On the server side, the value is rendered into a `data-image` HTML attribute using `esc_attr()`, which encodes double quotes as `"`. However, the client-side JavaScript carousel code in `custom.unified.js` reads this attribute using jQuery's `.data('image')`, which returns the browser-decoded value (with `"` decoded back to `"`). The decoded value is then concatenated directly into an HTML string and injected into the DOM via `jQuery.after()` without re-escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user hovers over the carousel thumbnail.

  • Sep 4, 2026Divi Ajax Filter: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-11613 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Divi Ajax Filter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.2 via the 'custom_loop_template' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the loop_templates parameter is set to 'custom-template'.

  • Sep 3, 2026Divi: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3852 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Divi theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `skype_url` shortcode attribute of the Social Media Follow module in all versions up to, and including, 4.27.6. This is due to a three-part sanitization failure: (1) the `skype_url` field is not included in the `$url_options` whitelist in `class-et-builder-element.php`, so it never invokes `esc_url_raw()` during shortcode processing, (2) the render code in `SocialMediaFollowItem.php` explicitly skips `esc_url()` for Skype URLs (`! $is_skype ? esc_url( $url ) : $skype_url`), and (3) only `sanitize_text_field()` is applied, which preserves single and double quote characters allowing attribute breakout. The unsanitized value is interpolated directly into a single-quoted `href` attribute (`href='{$social_network_link_url}'`). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user interacts with the injected element.

  • Sep 2, 2026Divi: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3850 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Divi theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `redirect_url` parameter of the `et_pb_contact_form` shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.27.6. This is due to the `redirect_url` attribute being sanitized with `esc_attr()` instead of `esc_url()` before being rendered into the `data-redirect_url` HTML data attribute. Additionally, `redirect_url` is absent from the hardcoded `$url_options` array in `class-et-builder-element.php`, so it does not receive `esc_url_raw()` sanitization during shortcode parsing. After a successful form submission, client-side JavaScript reads this data attribute and passes it directly to `window.location.href`, executing arbitrary JavaScript from a `javascript:` URI. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute whenever a user submits the contact form.

  • Sep 2, 2026Divi: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3851 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Divi theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Dynamic Content feature's legacy JSON format in all versions up to, and including, 4.27.6. This is due to two compounding flaws: (1) the save-time sanitization filter `et_builder_sanitize_dynamic_content_fields()` only searches for dynamic content markers in the `@ET-DC@...@` format, but the rendering engine also supports a legacy JSON format that is silently converted at render time, completely bypassing the save-time filter, and (2) the `post_meta_key` resolver in `et_builder_filter_resolve_default_dynamic_content()` does not apply `wp_kses_post()` to the resolved meta value when `enable_html` is set to `on`, passing raw `get_post_meta()` output directly to the page. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: validate individual TWT params before driver setup ieee80211_process_rx_twt_action() only partially validates a received S1G TWT setup frame before queueing it. An individual agreement can therefore reach ieee80211_s1g_rx_twt_setup() with twt->length too short for the full struct ieee80211_twt_params. The individual path passes twt to drv_add_twt_setup(). Both the tracepoint and the driver callback consume the complete parameters block, not merely req_type. Do not pass a short individual agreement to the driver. Broadcast agreements remain unchanged because they are rejected locally after accessing only req_type. [edit commit message to not overclaim lack of validation nor understate driver impact]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: enetc: fix potential divide-by-zero when num_vsi is zero For i.MX94 series, all the standalone ENETCs do not support SR-IOV, so pf->caps.num_vsi is zero. This leads to a divide-by-zero in enetc4_default_rings_allocation() when distributing rings among PF and VFs. Division by zero is undefined behavior in C. On ARM64, the UDIV/SDIV instructions silently return zero rather than raising an exception, so the issue does not cause a visible crash. However, relying on this behavior is incorrect and poses a cross-platform compatibility risk. Add an explicit check for num_vsi == 0 and return early after the PF's rings have been configured.

TarsWeb enforces its per-application roles by calling AuthService from individual controller methods, and four methods in app/controller/patch/PatchController.js make no such call. uploadAndPublish accepts a package upload and then builds and dispatches a deployment task to every server matching the supplied application and module name, while its sibling uploadPatchPackage, which only stores the package, does check developer authorization first. The only precondition uploadAndPublish enforces is that the named server is registered, and any registered server in the installation satisfies it. downloadPackage and deletePatchPackage select a package by an unscoped sequential primary key covering every application's uploads, and setPatchPackageDefault changes which package a given application deploys by default. Any authenticated account, including one holding a role scoped to a single unrelated application, can therefore push a package to and trigger its deployment on any server the console manages, retrieve or delete any other application's package, and change which package is deployed by default.

  • Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: error out for >10000 active_mem_bp damos_quota_score() can trigger diviCVE-2026-74645 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: error out for >10000 active_mem_bp damos_quota_score() can trigger division by zero if the target value is zero. DAMON_LRU_SORT lets users set the target value for the hot memory scheme via active_mem_bp parameter. It avoids setting it as the target value if the parameter value is zero. However, it also sets the cold memory scheme with a target value that is calculated as '10000 - active_mem_bp + 2'. Hence, if a user sets active_mem_bp 10002, the cold memory scheme's quota goal target value can be zero. As a result, division by zero can be triggered. Fix by returning an error when the user tries to start DAMON with >10000 active_mem_bp parameter value. It makes no sense to set active_mem_bp with 10002. It also requires module parameters write permission to reproduce the issue. That said, the consequence is quite bad. One reliable way to reproduce the issue is like below: # cd /sys/module/damon_lru_sort/parameters # echo 1000 > wmarks_high # echo 995 > wmarks_mid # echo 0 > wmarks_low # echo 10002 > active_mem_bp # echo Y > enabled # dmesg -w [...]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: Fix division by zero in initialize_timer() A userspace-driven ALSA timer (SND_UTIMER) lets an unprivileged user set the backing snd_timer's hardware resolution to an arbitrary 64-bit value via SNDRV_TIMER_IOCTL_CREATE. snd_utimer_create() only rejects zero. When such a timer is bound to a sequencer queue, initialize_timer() computes the tick period as tmr->ticks = 1000000000 / (r * freq); where r is that user-controlled resolution and freq is the sequencer update rate in Hz, clamped to MIN_FREQUENCY..MAX_FREQUENCY (10..6250). A resolution of 2^63 makes the 64-bit product r * freq wrap to zero for any even freq, including DEFAULT_FREQUENCY (1000), so the division faults with a divide-by-zero. The division runs under tmr->lock with interrupts disabled, so the oops leaves the spinlock held and hangs the CPU. It is reachable by an unprivileged user with access to /dev/snd/timer and /dev/snd/seq. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix divide-by-zero in calculate_mcache_setting on zero viewport If a plane reaches calculate_mcache_setting with a zero-area viewport, calculate_mcache_setting exits early with num_mcaches == 0 and mvmpg_width/height == 0. This will cause a divide-by-zero panic and can also cause an underflow on num_mcaches. Fix this by changing calculate_mcache_setting to bool and adding guards after each calculate_mcache_row_bytes call. If num_mcaches or mvmpg_width/height is zero, return a false. Callers will propagate the failure as a rejected mode, which prevents the panic. (cherry picked from commit 29c0f7c655f47bcbd575ff75e58480df6ec3c9da)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: validate DRAW_PRIMITIVES header size before division vmw_cmd_draw() computes maxnum = (header->size - sizeof(cmd->body)) / sizeof(*decl); where header->size is u32 and is taken straight from the user-supplied command stream. When header->size is less than sizeof(cmd->body) the unsigned subtraction wraps to nearly 4 GiB, producing a huge maxnum. Any user-controlled cmd->body.numVertexDecls then passes the bound and the loop dereferences decl[i] far past the end of the kernel command bounce buffer, producing an out-of-bounds read of kernel memory. In Bouncy Castle for Java from 1.73 to before 1.78, three ML-KEM (CRYSTALS-Kyber) routines divided secret-derived polynomial coefficients by the modulus q: Poly.toMsg, which decodes the decrypted message, and the ciphertext compression routines Poly.compressPoly and PolyVec.compressPolyVec. An attacker able to measure the timing of a large number of decapsulations performed with the same long-term private key can recover that key. These are the KyberSlash1 (Poly.toMsg) and KyberSlash2 (ciphertext compression) divisions. Compression performed during encapsulation operates on values that become the public ciphertext and is not affected.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: elan_i2c - prevent division by zero and arithmetic underflow The Elan I2C touchpad driver queries the device for its physical dimensions and trace counts to calculate the device resolution and width. However, if the device firmware or device tree provides invalid zero values for x_traces or y_traces, it results in a fatal division-by-zero exception leading to a kernel panic during device probe. Add checks to ensure these parameters are non-zero before performing the division. If invalid trace values are detected, fall back to a safe default of 1. Additionally, prevent an arithmetic underflow in the touch reporting logic. Previously, if the calculated or fallback width was smaller than ETP_FWIDTH_REDUCE (90), the subtraction would underflow, resulting in a massive unsigned integer being reported to userspace. Clamp the adjusted width to a minimum of 0 to safely handle small physical dimensions and fallback scenarios. Completing the probe with safe fallback values ensures the sysfs nodes are created, keeping the firmware update path intact so a recovery firmware can be flashed to the device.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: davinci: fix division by zero on missing clock-frequency When the 'clock-frequency' property is missing from the device tree, the driver falls back to DAVINCI_I2C_DEFAULT_BUS_FREQ. However, this macro was defined in kHz (100), whereas the device tree property is expected in Hz. The probe function divided the fallback value by 1000, causing integer truncation that resulted in dev->bus_freq = 0. This triggered a deterministic division-by-zero kernel panic when calculating clock dividers later in the probe sequence. Fix this by redefining DAVINCI_I2C_DEFAULT_BUS_FREQ in Hz (100000) to match the expected device tree property unit, allowing the existing division logic to work correctly for both cases.

  • Jul 21, 2026The DesignWare SPI driver (drivers/spi/spi_dw.c) computed the SPI BAUDR clock divider as info->clock_frequency / config->frequency without validating config->frCVE-2026-10679 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.3

The DesignWare SPI driver (drivers/spi/spi_dw.c) computed the SPI BAUDR clock divider as info->clock_frequency / config->frequency without validating config->frequency. spi_transceive is a Zephyr __syscall and its verify handler (drivers/spi/spi_handlers.c) copies the caller-supplied spi_config from userspace without checking the frequency field, so a userspace thread that has been granted access to a DesignWare SPI device kernel object can pass frequency = 0 and trigger an unsigned integer divide-by-zero in spi_dw_configure(). On Cortex-M Mainline (SCB->CCR.DIV_0_TRP is set in z_arm_fault_init()) and on ARC (a dedicated __ev_div_zero vector) this raises a CPU exception, resulting in a kernel fault and local denial of service. The fix rejects zero frequency and frequencies above clock_frequency / 2 (the DesignWare SSI databook minimum SCKDIV of 2) with -EINVAL. The defect affects all Zephyr releases up to and including v4.4.0; exploitation requires CONFIG_USERSPACE=y and an unprivileged thread already granted SPI driver permission. There is no memory-corruption or information-disclosure impact.

Missing validation of the outer content_type byte on TLS 1.3 encrypted records in s2n-tls allows an active man-in-the-middle to silently discard individual application data records without either endpoint detecting the modification. RFC 8446 Section 5.2 requires that the outer content_type of all encrypted TLS 1.3 records must be application_data (0x17). The s2n-tls AEAD implementation hardcodes this value in the additional authenticated data rather than using the actual wire byte, so the outer content_type is not covered by the authentication tag. This enables selective suppression of application data. In HTTP pipelining scenarios, dropping a TLS record containing an HTTP request can cause request/response desynchronization, where subsequent responses are delivered to the wrong requests. In write-heavy workloads, a dropped record containing a write request can result in undetectable data loss when the client interprets a subsequent success response as confirmation of the dropped write. All TLS 1.3 connections are affected. Both TLS clients and servers are affected. TLS 1.2 and QUIC connections are not affected. We recommend you upgrade s2n-tls to version v1.7.6

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tp_meter: avoid divide-by-zero for dec_cwnd The cwnd is always MSS <= cwnd <= 0x20000000. But the calculation in batadv_tp_update_cwnd() assumes unsigned 32 bit arithmetics. ((mss * 8) ** 2) / (cwnd * 8) In case cwnd is actually 0x20000000, it will be shifted by 3 bit to the left end up at 0x100000000 or U32_MAX + 1. It will therefore wrap around and be 0 - resulting in: ((mss * 8) ** 2) / 0 This is of course invalid and cannot be calculated. The calculation should must be simplified to avoid this overflow: (mss ** 2) * 8 / cwnd It will keep the precision enhancement from the scaling (by 8) but avoid the overflow in the divisor. In theory, there could still be an overflow in the dividend. It is at the moment fixed to BATADV_TP_PLEN in batadv_tp_recv_ack() - so it is not an imminent problem. But allowing it to use the whole u32 bit range, would mean that it can still use up to 67 bits. To keep this calculation safe for 32 bit arithmetic, mss must never use more than floor((32 - 3) / 2) bits - or in other words: must never be larger than 16383.

The Divi Torque Lite – Divi Theme, Divi Builder & Extra Theme plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.3. This is due to the use of '__return_true' as the permission_callback for the /install_plugin and /activate_plugin REST API endpoints, which bypasses WordPress's built-in REST API nonce verification. Although the endpoint callbacks contain internal current_user_can() checks, the absence of nonce verification means that a forged cross-site request from a logged-in administrator's browser will pass the capability check via the admin's session cookies. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to install arbitrary plugins from WordPress.

The Divi Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 5.1.8. This is due to the update_user() function accepting a user ID parameter from form submissions without verifying that the authenticated user has permission to edit that specific user account, and the handle_register_submission() function only checking if any user is logged in rather than validating permissions for the target user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to change the email address and password of any user account, including administrators, resulting in complete account takeover.

  • Jul 2, 2026Divi Form Builder: Arbitrary File Upload leading to Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-5524 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Divi Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload leading to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to and including 5.1.8. This is due to insufficient file extension validation in the do_image_upload() function where user-supplied input from the acceptFileTypes POST parameter is directly interpolated into a regular expression used to validate uploaded files. Attackers can specify PHP-executable extensions such as .phtml, .phar, .php5, or .php7 to bypass the plugin's .htaccess protection which only blocks .php files specifically. Additionally, on Nginx-based servers, the .htaccess protection is completely ineffective as Nginx does not process .htaccess files. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers (who can obtain a nonce from any public page containing a form) to upload executable PHP files to the publicly accessible /wp-content/uploads/de_fb_uploads/ directory and achieve Remote Code Execution by accessing the uploaded file via HTTP. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 5.1.3.
