  • Oct 21, 2026Cart Abandonment Recovery for WooCommerce: Does not verify the integrity of its cart-recovery token before acting on it and still accepts an unsigned legacy token formatCVE-2026-96901 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanLow 3.7

  • Oct 20, 2026PIA's token verification (`verify_token` in `pia/oidc.py`) fetches the OIDC discovery document of an allowlisted issuer and then follows the `jwks_uri` containeCVE-2026-107597 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgMedium 5.1

PIA's token verification (`verify_token` in `pia/oidc.py`) fetches the OIDC discovery document of an allowlisted issuer and then follows the `jwks_uri` contained in that response without parsing it as a URL, comparing it against the approved issuer's origin, or requiring HTTPS — the only check is that the field is non-empty (`pia/oidc.py:42-52`). An approved identity provider — and every registered per-project Jenkins instance under `https://ci.eclipse.org/<project>/oidc` is a separate such party (`pia/models.py`) — can therefore direct PIA to issue a GET request to an arbitrary host and port, including over plaintext `http`, from PIA's own network position. The fetch happens before any signature is verified, as a side effect of an unauthenticated `POST /v1/upload/sbom` request that is ultimately rejected with 401.

  • Oct 20, 2026A security flaw has been discovered in mcollina mcp-ripgrep up to 0.4.0.CVE-2026-113378 · Other software · mcollina · reported by VulDBLow 1.9

A security flaw has been discovered in mcollina mcp-ripgrep up to 0.4.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file src/index.ts of the component Advanced Search Tool. The manipulation of the argument fileType results in os command injection. The attack requires a local approach. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The code's own escapeShellArg on sibling arguments (skipped only for fileType) indicates that this is a CWE-78 oversight, not a documented design. The project maintainer cites the documentation: "This MCP server executes shell commands using the ripgrep tool. While efforts have been made to safely escape arguments, use caution when providing input, as it runs commands on your machine."

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix IP instance memory leak on kobject add failure amdgpu_discovery_sysfs_ips(CVE-2026-98780 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix IP instance memory leak on kobject add failure amdgpu_discovery_sysfs_ips() allocates ip_hw_instance with kzalloc_flex() and initializes its embedded kobject before calling kobject_add(). If kobject_add() fails, the return value is ignored and execution continues without dropping the initial kobject reference. The failed kobject is not retained in the kset list, so the normal sysfs teardown path cannot find it. As a result, ip_hw_instance_release() is never called and the ip_hw_instance allocation is leaked. Call kobject_put() when kobject_add() fails so the initial reference is dropped and ip_hw_instance_release() can free the allocation. Keep the existing best-effort sysfs behavior by continuing with the remaining IP entries after the failed registration. The issue was identified by a static analysis tool I developed and confirmed by manual review. (cherry picked from commit 5c75fbcca8af1096d8d9415b91d8ea6212c22ee1)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: tcpm: recover after failure to start the frs ams Reset the port if the tcpm fails to start the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS by initiating error recovery on it. This helps in cases where some cables (incorrectly) signal an FRS to an FRS capable port during disconnection. The TCPC autonomously starts sourcing VBUS on detecting the FRS signal. However, the VBUS sourcing is left on when the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS fails to start (as tcpm_sink_tx_ok is 0 as CC is open due to the cable disconnect). This is because the code sets the state to INVALID_STATE without resetting the port state. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix cursor and pointer handling when recovering iunlink buckets LOLLM pointed out a bug in xlog_recover_iunlink_bucket: 1. We don't null out prev_ip after releasing it, which can lead to UAF problems if the inodegc flush call in the loop fails. at which point I noticed even more bugs: 2. If the inodegc flush inside the loop fails, we also leak @ip. 3. We set prev_agino to agino having already advanced agino, which results in inodes with i_prev_unlinked set to itself. 4. If we exit the bottom of the loop with prev_ip set, then prev_ip aliases ip and we also set its i_prev_unlinked to itself. Bugs 3 and 4 introduce loops into the unlinked list, though these loops don't surface because we immediately flush each unlinked inode after loading it. Fix all of these issues.

  • Oct 14, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv4: Fix UDP length overflow with PMTU discover and big MTU This commit bounds cork-CVE-2026-98393 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv4: Fix UDP length overflow with PMTU discover and big MTU This commit bounds cork->base.fragsize to IP_MAX_MTU to avoid a possible overflow of UDP length that triggers a WARN in udp_set_len_short when setsockopt IP_MTU_DISCOVER is set to IP_PMTUDISC_PROBE, and a large packet is sent over a netdev with an unusually large MTU. Steps to reproduce: 1. Set device MTU bigger than IP_MAX_MTU + 20. cork->base.fragsize will be set to that MTU in ip_setup_cork. 2. Set IP_MTU_DISCOVER to IP_PMTUDISC_PROBE. It lets maxnonfragsize be set to device MTU (cork->fragsize) in __ip_append_data, rather than to IP_MAX_MTU. 3. Send 65528 bytes of payload (+8 bytes of UDP header, +20 bytes of IPv4 header). Device MTU allows it (it's only one byte bigger than IP_MAX_MTU + IPv4 header, and the device MTU is bigger than that). 4. The UDP length in the built packet is 65536, which overflows the 16-bit length field and triggers the WARN in udp_set_len_short. Note: IP_PMTUDISC_DO with IPv4 is safe, because ip_dst_mtu_maybe_forward always clamps at IP_MAX_MTU, unlike ip6_dst_mtu_maybe_forward. The Fixes tag point

A security issue was discovered in MongoDB mongos (the sharded cluster router) where an authenticated user with readWrite privileges could crash the mongos process by crafting a specially formed aggregation pipeline. The issue leverages an internal aggregation stage that lacks proper authorization checks despite being intended for internal use, allowing a subsequent stage to be forced to execute on the router under conditions it was not designed to handle. This results in an unhandled fatal error that causes the mongos process to immediately abort, resulting in denial of service for all clients routed through the affected mongos instance.
