Aug 16, 2026SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18402 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'draweropenverposition' Block/Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload is stored inside the block-delimiter HTML comment's JSON, which wp_kses_post does not neutralize on save, and is only interpolated into the rendered style attribute at display time without esc_attr() escaping, allowing a double-quote to break out of the attribute and introduce arbitrary HTML event handlers.

Aug 6, 2026WPMU DEV Dashboard: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-15459 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.0. On sites not yet connected to the WPMU DEV Hub — the default state after installation — the site API key that keys the WDP-AUTH request signature is empty, making the signature verified by validate_hash() trivially forgeable; version 5.0.0 additionally removed the replay check in validate_nonce(), and the remote handler is bound to the public init hook with no capability check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke privileged Hub actions — including installing and activating a plugin from an attacker-supplied URL (resulting in remote code execution), deleting plugins and themes, upgrading WordPress core, or logging in as an administrator via SSO. Sites connected to a WPMU DEV account, which have a non-empty 64-character API key, are not affected.

Aug 5, 2026The plugin provides an Admin Search page that allows users with the `edit_posts` capability to run Relevanssi searches from the WordPress dashboard.CVE-2026-15941 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The plugin provides an Admin Search page that allows users with the `edit_posts` capability to run Relevanssi searches from the WordPress dashboard. The AJAX handler accepts a URL-encoded `args` parameter, parses it into a `WP_Query`, and then passes user-controlled taxonomy query data into Relevanssi's taxonomy restriction builder. The taxonomy value is sanitized as text but is not parameterized for SQL before being interpolated into a term taxonomy lookup query. This allows an authenticated contributor-level attacker to inject SQL through the Admin Search AJAX request and execute time-based blind SQL injection against the WordPress database.
- What to do
- Update the plugin to the newest version.

Jul 28, 2026Taskbuilder – Project Management & Task Management Tool With Kanban Board: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-15267 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Taskbuilder – Project Management & Task Management Tool With Kanban Board plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'wppm_proj_filter' parameter in versions up to, and including, 5.0.9. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and the lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query — the value is re-read at line 144 using only sanitize_text_field() (overwriting the earlier absint() result), then concatenated into the SQL WHERE clause as an unquoted numeric operand using only esc_sql(), which does not protect against injection in that context, and finally string-interpolated into the $wpdb->prepare() format string, bypassing parameterization entirely. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

Jul 16, 2026RPB Chessboard: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-13042 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The RPB Chessboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content in all versions up to, and including, 8.1.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. WordPress's save-time kses sanitization does not mitigate this issue because the crafted payload uses only kses-allowed tags and attributes (such as an <a> element with title and href), and the dangerous attribute-breaking HTML is synthesized entirely at render time by the plugin's own comment_text filter.

Jun 5, 2026Alba Board: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-7523 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Alba Board plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.3. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to access arbitrary private alba_card post data, including title, description, assignee, due date, tags, and comments, that is intended to be restricted to Administrators and Editors. The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 9.1.2. This is due to missing capability checks in the get_ads_access_token() and reset_experience() AJAX handlers. While the mi-admin-nonce is localized on all admin pages (including profile.php which subscribers can access), and while other similar AJAX endpoints in the same class properly check for the exactmetrics_save_settings capability, these two endpoints only verify the nonce. Apr 23, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin): Unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activationCVE-2026-5464 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activation in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.2. This is due to the reports page exposing the 'onboarding_key' transient to any user with the 'exactmetrics_view_dashboard' capability. This key is the sole authorization gate for the '/wp-json/exactmetrics/v1/onboarding/connect-url' REST endpoint, which returns a one-time hash (OTH) token. This OTH token is then the only credential checked by the 'exactmetrics_connect_process' AJAX endpoint — which has no capability check, no nonce verification, and accepts an arbitrary plugin ZIP URL via the file parameter for installation and activation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above granted the report viewing permission, to install and activate arbitrary plugins from attacker-controlled URLs, leading to Remote Code Execution.

Mar 20, 2026Scoreboard for HTML5 Games Lite: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-4083 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Scoreboard for HTML5 Games Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'scoreboard' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.2. The shortcode function sfhg_shortcode() allows arbitrary HTML attributes to be added to the rendered <iframe> element, with only a small blacklist of four attribute names (same_height_as, onload, onpageshow, onclick) being blocked. While the attribute names are passed through esc_html() and values through esc_attr(), this does not prevent injection of JavaScript event handler attributes like onfocus, onmouseover, onmouseenter, etc., because these attribute names and simple JavaScript payloads contain no characters that would be modified by these escaping functions. The shortcode text is stored in post_content and is only expanded to HTML at render time, after WordPress's kses filtering has already been applied to the raw post content. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Mar 11, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for: Improper Privilege ManagementCVE-2026-1993 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Improper Privilege Management in versions 7.1.0 through 9.0.2. This is due to the `update_settings()` function accepting arbitrary plugin setting names without a whitelist of allowed settings. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the `exactmetrics_save_settings` capability to modify any plugin setting, including the `save_settings` option that controls which user roles have access to plugin functionality. The admin intended to delegate configuration access to a trusted user, not enable that user to delegate access to everyone. By setting `save_settings` to include `subscriber`, an attacker can grant plugin administrative access to all subscribers on the site.

Mar 11, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-1992 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions 8.6.0 through 9.0.2. This is due to the `store_settings()` method in the `ExactMetrics_Onboarding` class accepting a user-supplied `triggered_by` parameter that is used instead of the current user's ID to check permissions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the `exactmetrics_save_settings` capability to bypass the `install_plugins` capability check by specifying an administrator's user ID in the `triggered_by` parameter, allowing them to install arbitrary plugins and achieve Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability only affects sites on which administrator has given other user types the permission to view reports and can only be exploited by users of that type.
