  • Oct 29, 2026Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases.CVE-2026-119282 · Other software · nrwl · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3

Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From 22.0.2 until 22.7.9 and 23.1.2 for @nx/maven, and from 21.0.0 until 22.7.9 and 23.1.2 for @nx/gradle, the plugins' project-graph analyzers launch through a shell and interpolate plugin options from nx.json into command arguments. The @nx/maven targetNamePrefix value and arbitrary @nx/gradle option names or values can therefore be interpreted as shell syntax whenever an nx command constructs the project graph. A user who runs Nx in an attacker-controlled repository or pull request can execute injected commands with the user's privileges, while workspaces that register neither affected plugin are not exposed to this path. Remediation requires upgrading both nx and each affected plugin to matching releases because the plugin fix depends on code in the nx package. This issue is fixed in versions 22.7.9 and 23.1.2.

  • Oct 29, 2026Lightdash is an open source business intelligence platform.CVE-2026-61576 · Other software · lightdash · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

Lightdash is an open source business intelligence platform. In affected versions through 0.3213.0, the dbt Cloud webhook `POST /api/v1/projects/{projectUuid}/dbt-cloud/webhook` has no authentication middleware or signature validation. In `packages/backend/src/controllers/projectController.ts`, `testWebhook()` accepts `accountId` and `runId` from a `job.run.completed` request and passes them to `createPreviewWithExplores()` in `packages/backend/src/services/ProjectService/ProjectService.ts`. These unsanitized values are interpolated into the server-side dbt Cloud API URL, which is requested with the victim project's API key in the `Authorization` header. Path traversal through `accountId` changes the requested path on `cloud.getdbt.com` without changing its host, so the credential-bearing request reaches an attacker-influenced path on that fixed host. The advisory claims API-key theft, but the supplied evidence does not establish that the attacker can observe the `Authorization` header. The unauthenticated webhook also allows preview creation. The target must be a `dbt Cloud IDE` project and the attacker must know its `projectUuid`; the UUID is not enumerable but can be discovered i

  • Oct 29, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-119281 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the connector assumed result bytes were UTF-8 but guarded only changes to character_set_client. It did not reject non-UTF-8 character_set_results changes and relied on the server's global session_track_system_variables configuration to report character-set changes. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could suppress tracking or change the result charset so application strings differed from the returned bytes, potentially defeating application-side validation or escaping that depended on the decoded values. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11.

  • Oct 29, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-119280 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the MariaDbPoolConnection.recover() and MariaDbPoolPinnedConnection.recover() implementations trusted the gtrid_length and bqual_length columns returned by XA RECOVER. The methods allocated and split Xid byte arrays without validating the lengths against Xid.MAXGTRIDSIZE, Xid.MAXBQUALSIZE, or the actual data payload. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could cause large allocations, NegativeArraySizeException, or ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException during XA recovery. • Oct 29, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-119279 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.10, the ReadableByteBuf.readLength() and ReadableByteBuf.readIntLengthEncodedNotNull() methods narrowed the protocol's unsigned 8-byte length-encoded integer to a Java int without checking that the value fit a non-negative integer. Values above Integer.MAX_VALUE could wrap to a negative or unrelated length that downstream allocation and read paths used. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could trigger NegativeArraySizeException, out-of-bounds failures, or oversized allocation behavior in client connection handling. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.10.

  • Oct 29, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-119278 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7 and 3.4.5, during caching_sha2_password authentication, the authentication-more-data response was treated as a length-encoded byte array, memory was allocated from the server-declared length, and authResult[0] was accessed without ensuring a byte existed. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could declare a very large length or send an empty response before any password was transmitted. The malformed packet could cause excessive allocation or an unchecked ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException escaping from DriverManager.getConnection(). This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7 and 3.4.5.

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, decoders for OK packet session-state blocks, column definition packets, text row data, or binary row data used server-declared lengths without confirming that the requested bytes remained in the receive buffer. The decoders could position reads, create sub-buffers, or decode strings beyond the packet boundary. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could trigger unchecked ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException or IllegalArgumentException failures inside JDBC calls and terminate connection handling. • Oct 29, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-119276 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, when CLIENT_SESSION_TRACK was negotiated, the OkPacket.parse() and OkPacket.parseWithInfo() paths allocated byte arrays using server-declared lengths for the OK packet info field and session-state variable names and values before confirming that the bytes remained in the packet. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could send a small OK packet declaring a much larger length and repeatedly force attacker-controlled heap allocations before the subsequent copy failed. This could create garbage-collection pressure or an OutOfMemoryError in the client application. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11.

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the ClientMessage.validateLocalFileName() check used a regular expression that could match LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE text inside quoted identifiers, string literals, or comments instead of requiring a real statement. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could return crafted database or table identifiers that the connector reused in metadata or updatable-result queries, then answer with a LOCAL INFILE request for a client file. With allowLocalInfile enabled, this caused the connector to stream any readable client-host file named by the crafted text, including through DatabaseMetaData.getImportedKeys(), DatabaseMetaData.getExportedKeys(), or ResultSet.updateRow() paths. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11.

  • Oct 29, 2026pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python.CVE-2026-119197 · Other software · pyasn1 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.5, binary REAL decoding builds a large mantissa one octet at a time by shifting a growing integer and slicing the remaining byte string. Attacker-controlled ASN.1 includes a binary-encoded REAL with a large mantissa and reaches BER, CER, or DER decode(), with or without a schema containing REAL. RealPayloadDecoder.valueDecoder repeatedly performs a left shift, OR, and suffix copy for every mantissa octet, making decode time quadratic in mantissa length. A comparatively small REAL value can hold a decoding worker on one CPU core for seconds or longer and cause availability loss. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.5.

  • Oct 29, 2026pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python.CVE-2026-119196 · Other software · pyasn1 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.5, constructed BIT STRING decoding repeatedly shifts and copies the complete bit value accumulated from earlier fragments. Attacker-controlled BER or CER input contains many constructed BIT STRING fragments; schema-driven DER also accepts a definite-length constructed BIT STRING. BitStringPayloadDecoder repeatedly calls BitString.fromOctetString with the prior bitString as prepend, shifting an ever-growing SizedInteger for each fragment and causing quadratic work. Large fragmented values can exhaust CPU during decode() without requiring later conversion or formatting. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.5.

  • Oct 29, 2026pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python.CVE-2026-119195 · Other software · pyasn1 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.5, constructed string and indefinite-length ANY decoding repeatedly concatenates each fragment onto a growing bytes value. Attacker-controlled BER or CER data can use many constructed OCTET STRING or character-string fragments. DER rejects constructed OCTET STRING without a schema, but accepts its definite-length form when asn1Spec selects univ.OctetString; it also accepts constructed character strings such as UTF8String without a schema, even though those encodings are not valid DER. The separate indefinite-length ANY path is reachable in BER and CER when asn1Spec selects univ.Any; DER rejects indefinite lengths. OctetStringPayloadDecoder uses growing header concatenation and AnyPayloadDecoder.indefLenValueDecoder uses growing chunk concatenation, repeatedly copying an increasing prefix and causing quadratic work. A sufficiently fragmented value can occupy decoding workers and cause CPU exhaustion without confidentiality or integrity impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.5.

pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. From 0.3.3 until 0.6.5, schemaless container decoding stores every decoded component's TagSet in a growing set even though only one-versus-multiple tag types must be distinguished. Attacker-controlled BER, CER, or DER input contains many distinct long tag IDs whose TagSet hashes collide. Each later set insertion compares against an increasing number of earlier colliding tags in ConstructedPayloadDecoderBase._decodeComponentsSchemaless, producing quadratic CPU work while decoded values and order remain valid. Repeated inputs can exhaust decoder CPU and reduce service availability. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.5.

  • Oct 29, 2026PHPUnit is a testing framework for PHP.CVE-2026-119193 · Other software · sebastianbergmann · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

PHPUnit is a testing framework for PHP. From 13.4.0 until 13.4.4, the TestCase::coverageFilesDirectory() logic in src/Runner/Phpt/TestCase.php creates temporary files for PHPT code coverage in a predictable phpunit-phpt directory under sys_get_temp_dir() and reuses that directory without verifying its ownership or permissions. On multi-user systems with a shared temporary path, a local attacker who creates the directory before the developer runs PHPT tests with code coverage can replace the generated job file before the child process executes it with require, allowing arbitrary code execution with the developer's privileges while the test and coverage report appear successful. PHPUnit 12.5 and earlier, default macOS and Windows configurations with per-user temporary directories, and single-user environments where another user cannot create files in the temporary path are not affected. This issue is fixed in 13.4.4.

  • Oct 29, 2026Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript.CVE-2026-119190 · Other software · digitalbazaar · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, node-forge parsed deprecated extension OIDs 2.5.29.10 and 2.5.29.13 as basicConstraints, and pki.verifyCertificateChain() used the first extension with that name. Exploitation requires a CA trusted by the application to issue a certificate carrying an attacker-supplied deprecated-OID extension, commonly because the CA copies extensions from a certificate signing request. By placing a permissive deprecated extension before the genuine 2.5.29.19 basicConstraints extension, the certificate holder could have the certificate accepted as a CA and issue certificates for arbitrary names, enabling server or client impersonation. If the issuing CA adds a keyUsage extension without keyCertSign, node-forge rejects the chain. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, node-forge enforced an X.509 CA certificate's basicConstraints.pathLenConstraint only when that certificate also carried a keyUsage extension. Exploitation requires a path-length-constrained CA without keyUsage that chains to a root trusted by the application, and an attacker who holds that CA's private key or obtains a subordinate CA certificate from it. The attacker could then construct a chain exceeding the declared path length that still passed pki.verifyCertificateChain(). Public web PKI CA certificates normally include keyUsage; private PKIs with CA certificates created without it are more likely to be affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

  • Oct 29, 2026Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript.CVE-2026-118778 · Other software · digitalbazaar · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), c.session.serverCertificate, RSA key exchange to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's TLS client checked the wrong property when deciding whether a server certificate was missing. A malicious TLS server or on-path peer could omit the Certificate message and reach code that dereferenced the absent certificate, causing an uncaught exception and terminating the connection or process. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the forge.http client stored cookie names and paths from Set-Cookie response headers in ordinary JavaScript objects. A malicious server could use the cookie name __proto__ so that the attacker-controlled cookie path was written as a property on Object.prototype, or use inherited names such as constructor to modify Object. An empty cookie value could use the removal path to delete an inherited Object.prototype property. Applications using forge.http directly or through forge.xhr are affected; applications that do not use forge.http are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used decipher.finish(), CBC and ECB modes, PKCS#7 padding to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge validated only the final byte of PKCS#7 padding during CBC and ECB decryption and accepted zero, oversized, or mismatched padding bytes. Malformed ciphertext could consequently be accepted and up to four plaintext blocks could be silently removed, causing an integrity failure in applications that treated successful decryption as proof of valid padding. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, asn1.oidToDer() in lib/asn1.js did not range-check the first two arcs of an OID. An application that accepted an untrusted OID string, checked or authorized that string, and then encoded it with asn1.oidToDer() could emit DER representing a different, trusted OID from the one that was checked. DER parsing is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

  • Oct 29, 2026Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript.CVE-2026-118774 · Other software · digitalbazaar · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used certificate.verify(child), _verifySignature(), lib/x509.js to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge selected RSA padding and RSASSA-PSS parameters from the issuer certificate rather than the child certificate being verified. A child labeled as RSASSA-PSS could therefore be accepted with a PKCS#1 v1.5 signature when the issuer used PKCS#1 v1.5. The signature still had to be produced with the trusted issuer's private key, so this did not permit certificate identity forgery, but it could bypass policies that require a declared signature scheme. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

  • Oct 29, 2026joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript.CVE-2026-118772 · Other software · hapijs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript. From 17.1.1 until 17.13.9 and 18.3.1, the Joi.string().email({ multiple: true }) rule uses a separator regular expression whose leading whitespace quantifier is retried at every position in a long whitespace run that contains no separator, causing quadratic work during String.prototype.split. The behavior applies to the default separator and every custom separator. Applications that validate attacker-controlled values with the multiple option and no effective prior length limit can have the Node.js event loop blocked for seconds by one request, preventing other work. A .max() rule is not sufficient when abortEarly: false allows the email rule to run after the maximum-length check fails. This vulnerability is fixed in versions 17.13.9 and 18.3.1.

  • Oct 29, 2026SD JWT JS is a JavaScript implementation of the Selective Disclosure JWT (SD-JWT) specification.CVE-2026-62374 · Other software · openwallet-foundation · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

SD JWT JS is a JavaScript implementation of the Selective Disclosure JWT (SD-JWT) specification. In version 0.19.0 and earlier, `@sd-jwt/decode`, also used by `@sd-jwt/core`, silently drops a tampered Disclosure whose digest no longer matches the Issuer-signed `_sd` array and returns a reduced claim set, reporting success while the Issuer signature remains valid. Both a tampered Disclosure that remains valid JSON and a Disclosure containing invalid UTF-8 bytes reach this silent-drop behavior. In the latter case, the `TextDecoder / Buffer` decoding path substitutes U+FFFD replacement characters, recovering syntactically valid disclosure data instead of rejecting the malformed input. This violates RFC 9901 section 7.1 step 5, which requires rejection of unreferenced Disclosures, and section 7.1 step 3 / section 4.2.1, which require rejection of invalid Disclosures. A malicious holder can exploit this omission primitive, including through `SDJwtInstance.verify()` when key binding is required. An on-path attacker can also tamper with a Disclosure when the relying party does not enforce key binding; enforced key binding rejects on-path tampering because it invalidates the KB-JWT `sd_has

minimatch is a minimal matching utility for converting glob expressions into JavaScript RegExp objects. Prior to 11.0.1, src/index.ts implements firstPhasePreProcess() so that, at optimizationLevel 2 or higher, it repeatedly expands attacker-controlled **/.. pattern segments inside a fixpoint loop, allowing generated globParts entries to be processed and expanded again. secondPhasePreProcess() then compares the expanded entries pairwise, so a short malicious glob can cause excessive CPU and memory consumption during pattern compilation. • Oct 29, 2026sigstore-js provides JavaScript libraries for interacting with Sigstore services.CVE-2026-118763 · Other software · sigstore · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

sigstore-js provides JavaScript libraries for interacting with Sigstore services. Prior to 0.7.2, packages/oci/src/registry.ts contains a RegistryClient.signIn() method that stores registry Authorization and Docker configuration headers as defaults on a shared HTTP client, while RegistryClient.uploadBlob() sends a fresh PUT to an absolute blob-upload Location supplied by the registry without checking that its origin or scheme matches the registry. A malicious or compromised registry can therefore direct a user pushing an artifact through attachArtifactToImage() to an attacker-controlled host and receive the registry bearer token, Basic credentials, or custom authentication headers. Redirect-time header stripping does not prevent the leak because the cross-host PUT is a new explicit request rather than a followed redirect. This is a residual of CVE-2026-59891, whose fix changed credential selection in credentials.ts but did not constrain where credentials are sent from registry.ts. Version 0.7.2 fixes the issue by separating registry credentials from client-wide defaults and sending them only to the registry origin.
