  • Oct 14, 2026FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations.CVE-2026-104110 · Other software · error311 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.24.0, FileRise Pro /api/pro/portals/get.php returns a configured client portal's full internal record to an unauthenticated caller who knows or guesses the portal slug. The response includes the internal storage folder path, client contact email, form settings, and upload-policy details, while the separate publicMeta.php endpoint intentionally exposes only curated branding data. Exploitation requires the Pro add-on and at least one configured portal. This issue is fixed in version 3.24.0.

  • Oct 14, 2026FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations.CVE-2026-104109 · Other software · error311 · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise validates archive entry names but extracts them directly into the authorized live destination before validating resolved paths. If that destination already contains a symlink to a directory outside the storage root, an authenticated non-administrator with extract permission who can upload or otherwise place an attacker-controlled ZIP in that folder can place an ordinary archive entry beneath the link. ZipArchive::extractTo() can then overwrite an external file, and post-extraction cleanup can delete that target through the same linked parent, only where the FileRise process has the required filesystem write or removal permission. The advisory does not establish that the attacker can create the prerequisite symlink through FileRise. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise maps an authenticated OIDC identity to a local account using mutable preferred_username or email claims and does not require email_verified for email-based naming. An attacker who can obtain provider-issued claims colliding with an existing local username can be logged in as that account, including the built-in administrator, even when automatic provisioning is disabled. Exploitability depends on the configured identity provider allowing the colliding claim. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

  • Oct 14, 2026FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations.CVE-2026-104107 · Other software · error311 · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. In FileRise 3.22.0, the /api/file/saveFile.php operation accepts dot and dot-dot segments in its attacker-controlled folder input before ACL inheritance evaluates the uncanonicalized string. With an authenticated non-administrator session, a valid CSRF token, and inherited edit permission on a legitimate ancestor, the local filesystem or WebDAV adapter later resolves those segments as path navigation, permitting attacker-controlled file creation outside the authorized folder and, where backend credentials permit, outside the configured WebDAV root. Local storage also created directories before final containment validation and used a prefix comparison that accepted similarly named sibling roots. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

  • Oct 14, 2026FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations.CVE-2026-104106 · Other software · error311 · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise permits an authenticated session with a valid CSRF token to disable TOTP without recent full reauthentication or to begin enrollment when the account currently has no TOTP secret. The enrollment endpoint returns 409 rather than directly overwriting an already configured secret, but it persists and activates a newly generated secret before a TOTP code verifies possession. An attacker controlling an existing authenticated session can therefore disable an existing second factor or enroll one after the account has no configured secret; this is not a direct overwrite of an active authenticator. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise verifies that a TOTP code is valid for the accepted time window but does not record that the same account and time step already succeeded. An attacker who has the target account's valid primary credential and captures a TOTP code after its successful use can replay that code from another pending-login session before the window closes. The issue does not by itself disclose the primary credential or TOTP code. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise /api/folder/renameFolder.php authorizes an authenticated, non-folder-scoped, non-administrator with a valid CSRF token against the source folder but does not independently authorize a changed destination parent. A qualifying user who owns a source folder can move that tree beneath another user's existing folder or into the root namespace, and the operation rekeys the moved ownership and ACL records to the new path. The destination must be unused and existing victim files cannot be overwritten. Distinct pre-fix errors reveal whether a specifically guessed destination path exists, but disclose no directory listing or file contents. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise stores failed TOTP verification attempts in $_SESSION. An attacker who already possesses a target account's valid primary credential can restart the login workflow in a new session and restore the second-factor attempt allowance, permitting continued online TOTP guessing beyond the intended five-attempt limit. The pending-login TOTP handlers did not share a durable account-wide limit. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, the unauthenticated web/html/socio/sistema/cadastro_cobrancas_geracao.php endpoint accepts form-encoded POST data through extract($_REQUEST) and interpolates codigo, descricao, data_emissao, data_vencimento, data_pagamento, valor, valor_pago, status, link_cobranca, link_boleto, linha_digitavel, and id_socio into a raw INSERT statement. Numeric parameters are unquoted and unvalidated, while string parameters can break out of their single-quoted SQL context. Prior to 3.8.6, the auto-prepended web/html/seguranca/sessionStart.php reflects an attacker-supplied PHPSESSID cookie in a Set-Cookie response and uses DB_HOST as the cookie domain. If a victim authenticates while using the attacker-selected identifier, the attacker can reuse that identifier to hijack the authenticated session. Because route-model binding can resolve an estimate from any company, an authenticated user with create-invoice ability can copy another company's line items, prices, totals, taxes, notes, currency, and customer data into an invoice in the attacker's company. The victim company's configured conversion action reaches checkForEstimateConvertAction and can also change or delete the original estimate. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0.

  • Oct 14, 2026Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code.CVE-2026-54703 · Other software · shd101wyy · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, the _crossnote.updateMarkdown command in Markdown Preview Enhanced accepts an arbitrary URI and attacker-controlled content, then passes them to vscode.workspace.fs.writeFile without validating that the target is the Markdown file represented by the current preview. JavaScript already executing in the preview webview can invoke this command through the extension message bridge and write any file permitted by the VS Code user's operating-system privileges, including user configuration, startup, source, and build files. This file-write vulnerability requires a separate webview JavaScript execution path, such as the independently tracked head.html injection and blind command-dispatch weaknesses. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30.

  • Oct 14, 2026Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code.CVE-2026-54702 · Other software · shd101wyy · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3

Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, the webview message handler in src/preview-provider.ts accepts an attacker-controlled command value and attacker-controlled args, constructs a command in the _crossnote namespace, and invokes vscode.commands.executeCommand without an allowlist or type validation. JavaScript already executing in the preview webview can use this bridge to invoke privileged extension commands, including file modification, code-chunk execution, export-tool execution, and arbitrary URL opening, with attacker-selected arguments. Exploitation requires a separate webview JavaScript execution path, such as the independently tracked .crossnote/head.html injection, but no further authorization check protects the extension-host command boundary. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30.

  • Oct 14, 2026Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code.CVE-2026-54701 · Other software · shd101wyy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, Markdown Preview Enhanced reads repository-controlled .crossnote/head.html content and passes it through resolvePathsInHeader before inserting it into the head of the preview webview document without removing executable content. Script-capable markup executes while the document loads, before the React application and DOMPurify initialize, and can access acquireVsCodeApi to send messages from the webview to the extension host. Opening a Markdown preview in a malicious repository is sufficient to trigger the injected content, and no additional click within the notification or preview is required. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30.

  • Oct 14, 2026Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code.CVE-2026-54566 · Other software · shd101wyy · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.29, Markdown Preview Enhanced evaluates repository-controlled .crossnote/config.js and .crossnote/parser.js files with vm.runInNewContext, which does not provide a security boundary from the Node.js host realm. Opening a Markdown file in a malicious repository automatically loads these files, and prototype-chain traversal can reach the host Function constructor and process object, allowing operating-system commands to execute as the victim account without further interaction. Both configuration evaluation and parser-hook evaluation are affected, and the attack does not depend on module-scoped require being available. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.29.

  • Oct 14, 2026A remote user who can read encrypted objects in the S3 bucket can force a padding downgrade by altering the padding scheme recorded in an object's metadata to lCVE-2026-110310 · Other software · Amazon · reported by ff89ba41-3aa1-4d27-914a-91399e9639e5Medium 6

A remote user who can read encrypted objects in the S3 bucket can force a padding downgrade by altering the padding scheme recorded in an object's metadata to legacy PKCS#1 v1.5. Since this padding scheme is susceptible to the well-known Bleichenbacher attack, the user can use a PKCS#1 v1.5 padding oracle to recover the RSA-wrapped envelope key and decrypt the object. To remediate this issue, we recommend that users upgrade to version 3.2.2 or 4.0.3. The 1.x and 2.x lines will not be patched, users of those lines need to migrate to 3.2.2 or 4.0.3.

Plane is an open-source project management tool. In 1.3.1 and earlier, EntityAssetEndpoint at the public project asset endpoint /api/public/assets/v2/anchor/{anchor}/ requires authentication for write operations but does not verify workspace or project membership. An authenticated user who knows a published project's public DeployBoard.anchor can create FileAsset records in that project and soft-delete existing assets by identifier, allowing cross-workspace file injection, storage abuse, and data loss. The issue is fixed in version 1.4.0.

Plane is an open-source project management tool. In 1.3.1 and earlier, ProjectMemberViewSet.partial_update places its authorization checks inside the role update branch, so a guest or member can omit role and change another ProjectMember record's is_active field, including deactivating a project administrator. ProjectMemberPreferenceEndpoint.patch separately trusts the member_id path value and lets a project member overwrite another member's preferences. These missing object-level authorization checks permit membership disruption and cross-member preference tampering. The vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.0.

Prior to 1.4.0, PageVersionEndpoint in apps/api/plane/app/views/page/version.py scopes page-version lookups by workspace and page identifiers but not by the project_id from the URL. ProjectPagePermission likewise derives the caller's role from the URL project while resolving the requested page workspace-wide, so a member of one project can use that project's identifier to read description_html for a public page in another project in the same workspace. • Oct 14, 2026Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files.CVE-2026-85714 · Other software · Stirling-Tools · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 2.13.2, an authenticated administrator using the default H2 database and security mode can upload a crafted SQL file to POST /api/v1/database/import-database. DatabaseService.validateSqlContent() splits normalized input on semicolons and accepts a statement when it contains any allowed keyword, allowing dangerous H2 functions such as FILE_READ and CSVWRITE, plus CREATE ALIAS, to bypass the insufficient whitelist and execute side effects when RUNSCRIPT processes the file. This permits arbitrary file access. The demonstrated operating-system command execution chain writes attacker-controlled startup files to a user-site location and then triggers an application Python interpreter configured to load those startup files, resulting in command execution as the JVM service account. This issue is fixed in version 2.13.2.

  • Oct 14, 2026Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service.CVE-2026-82402 · Other software · gogs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to 0.15.0+dev, an unauthenticated attacker can provide a backslash-containing target to the /redirect endpoint, and similar post-action redirect flows are also affected. internal/urlx/urlx.go IsSameSite validates a normalized form of the target while cmd/gogs/internal/web/web.go getRedirect and other callers use the original value in the Location response. This backslash normalization mismatch lets browsers interpret the Location value as a scheme-relative external URL, allowing links on a trusted Gogs domain to redirect victims to attacker-controlled content for phishing. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0+dev.

  • Oct 14, 2026Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library.CVE-2026-73261 · Other software · cesanta · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, the built-in TCP/IP stack enabled by MG_ENABLE_TCPIP in src/net_builtin.c does not reject a TCP option whose declared opts[1] length exceeds the remaining option bytes. In handle_opt(), a NOP followed by a truncated MSS option causes opts[3] to be read outside the declared options area and used as the low byte of dmss. An unauthenticated remote peer can corrupt the per-connection MSS value so later mg_send() calls transmit truncated or zero-length application payloads while the TCP connection otherwise appears healthy. This issue is fixed in version 7.23.

  • Oct 14, 2026Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library.CVE-2026-73260 · Other software · cesanta · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, the built-in TLS certificate parser selected by MG_TLS_BUILTIN fails to verify that a long-form DER element length fits within the remaining certificate buffer. In mg_der_to_tlv() and mg_der_next(), a peer-controlled length can advance the parser beyond the certificate and underflow the remaining uint32_t length, causing mg_tls_parse_cert_der() to continue walking an invalid pointer. An unauthenticated malicious TLS server, or a client presenting a certificate to a server configured for client certificates, can trigger an out-of-bounds read and denial of service during the handshake. Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, the built-in TLS stack selected by MG_TLS_BUILTIN in src/tls_builtin.c accepts a TLS 1.3 record whose decrypted size is exactly the 16-byte authentication tag with no plaintext or ContentType byte. In mg_tls_recv_record(), the msgsz length check permits that record and the recv_len calculation underflows to SIZE_MAX, so a later handshake step treats stale buffer contents as a trusted message with an effectively unbounded length. An unauthenticated malicious TLS peer can trigger a heap out-of-bounds read before certificate or Finished validation, causing a remote denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 7.23.
