  • Aug 31, 2026Permissive Regular Expression vulnerability in ash-project ash_phoenix lets a remote client select the tenant an Ash application uses, or degrade the request, bCVE-2026-82726 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Permissive Regular Expression vulnerability in ash-project ash_phoenix lets a remote client select the tenant an Ash application uses, or degrade the request, by sending a crafted Host header. AshPhoenix.Helpers.get_subdomain/2 stripped the root domain with String.replace(host, ~r/.?#{root_host}/, ""). The root host was interpolated raw, so each . became a wildcard and any metacharacter a pattern, and the replace was global and unanchored, so a match was removed from anywhere in the string. With root_host example.com, Host: foo.exampleXcom.attacker.net returned the tenant foo.attacker.net. A metacharacter-bearing or nil root host degraded the pattern or raised on every request. The comparison was also case-sensitive, so TENANT.EXAMPLE.COM and EXAMPLE.COM slipped past the root-host allowlist. conn.host comes from the client Host header. The fix matches the root host case-insensitively and only as an exact trailing suffix. This issue affects ash_phoenix: from 2.1.26 before 2.3.25.

  • Aug 30, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin lets any client that can reach the admin LiveView exhaust the BEAM aCVE-2026-82722 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.3

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin lets any client that can reach the admin LiveView exhaust the BEAM atom table and crash the entire node. Two LiveView event handlers interned atoms from unvalidated client input: AshAdmin.PageLive's set_actor built modules from the resource/domain payload with Module.concat/1, and AshAdmin.Components.Resource.Show's calculate converted every submitted form key with String.to_atom/1. Atoms are never garbage collected and the table is capped, so flooding either event with random names mints a new atom per request until the VM aborts, taking down every application on the node. The fix resolves the submitted resource/domain against the known shown resources and maps calculation keys to declared arguments, so no client-supplied string is interned. This issue affects ash_admin: from 0.1.0 before 1.3.1.

  • Aug 30, 2026Improper Control of Generation of Code (Code Injection) vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a remote, unauthenticated client to execute arbitrary Elixir CVE-2026-77956 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.9

Improper Control of Generation of Code (Code Injection) vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a remote, unauthenticated client to execute arbitrary Elixir code. AshAi.Actions.Prompt evaluates prompt content through EEx.eval_string/2. The documented prompt: fn input, context -> ... end form lets the prompt content be built from action arguments, so when a prompt action's text incorporates request data, that attacker-controlled text is compiled and run as an EEx template (Elixir source). Content such as <%= System.cmd(...) %> therefore executes on the server before any model request is made, requiring no authentication beyond reaching a prompt action. The fix stops evaluating function-supplied prompt content as EEx; only statically configured templates are evaluated. This issue affects ash_ai: from 0.1.0 before 1.0.0.

  • Aug 30, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows an unauthenticated client to bypass the configured GraphQL CVE-2026-81636 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.7

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows an unauthenticated client to bypass the configured GraphQL query-complexity limit and force an unbounded database read. AshGraphql.Graphql.Resolver.query_complexity/3 multiplies child complexity by the requested page size only when the argument map contains :limit (offset pagination). Relay connections and keyset pagination use first and last, which never match that clause and fall through to the catch-all that returns child_complexity + 1. A nested relay query such as posts(first: 500) { edges { node { comments(first: 500) { ... } } } } therefore scores as trivially cheap while materializing the full fan-out, passing an Absinthe max_complexity cap that rejects the equivalent limit-based query. The fix adds first and last clauses clamped to the action's page size. This issue affects ash_graphql: from 0.16.23 before 1.11.0.

  • Aug 30, 2026Improper Input Validation vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows an unauthenticated client to crash a relay node(id: ...) query with an unhandled KeyErCVE-2026-81633 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9

Improper Input Validation vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows an unauthenticated client to crash a relay node(id: ...) query with an unhandled KeyError. AshGraphql.Graphql.Resolver.resolve_node/2 decodes the client-supplied global ID with decode_relay_id/1, which only base64-decodes the string and splits it on : without validating the type segment. The decoded type is passed straight to Map.fetch!(type_to_domain_and_resource_map, type). Because fetch! raises on a missing key, a relay ID whose type segment is a valid atom that is not a relay-exposed type aborts the resolver before its resolve/2 clauses and their rescue handlers run, so the error never becomes a GraphQL error and may expose a stacktrace. Common resource names are easy to guess. The fix uses Map.fetch/2 and returns an Invalid node id error for unknown types. This issue affects ash_graphql: from 0.27.0 before 1.11.0.

  • Aug 30, 2026Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows a remote client to read internal field names that aCVE-2026-78693 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9

Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows a remote client to read internal field names that an application configured its error_handler to redact. In AshGraphql.Errors, each error is passed to the configured error_handler and the returned map is merged with the pre-handler path via Map.put_new(handled, :path, path). Because put_new defers to the handler only when the handler itself set :path, a sanitizing handler that returns a fresh map or deletes :path has that decision reverted. The re-injected path comes from build_error_path/5, which falls back to raw internal Ash attribute and argument names when no field_names mapping is configured. A validation failure on a non-exposed or nested field therefore returns internal names in the GraphQL error path, defeating the application's redaction. This issue affects ash_graphql: from 1.9.0 before 1.11.0.

  • Aug 28, 2026MariaDB Connector/R2DBC is a non-blocking MariaDB and MySQL client implemented in Java.CVE-2026-55860 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

MariaDB Connector/R2DBC is a non-blocking MariaDB and MySQL client implemented in Java. Prior to 1.4.1, org.mariadb:r2dbc-mariadb does not gate clear-text password authentication plugins on transport encryption because the AuthenticationPlugin interface has no capability for a plugin to require a secure connection. A hostile or man-in-the-middle MariaDB server can send an AuthSwitchRequest naming mysql_clear_password or dialog (PAM) over a plain-TCP unencrypted connection, and AuthenticationFlow permits ClearPasswordPluginFlow or PamPluginFlow to return the user's password as cleartext bytes on the wire. The disclosed credentials can subsequently be used to authenticate directly to the database server. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

  • Aug 28, 2026MariaDB Connector/R2DBC is a non-blocking MariaDB and MySQL client implemented in Java.CVE-2026-55859 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

MariaDB Connector/R2DBC is a non-blocking MariaDB and MySQL client implemented in Java. Prior to 1.4.1, org.mariadb:r2dbc-mariadb encodes and decodes all character data under the assumption that the connection character set is UTF-8. A server can announce a mid-session change to character_set_client through the OK-packet session-state-tracking mechanism, including through SET NAMES executed by a stored routine or trigger, server configuration, or a hostile or man-in-the-middle server. If the new character set is not UTF-8, the driver continues to exchange UTF-8 while the server interprets the same bytes under a different encoding, causing silent data corruption and a client/server charset-confusion mismatch that can defeat byte-wise quoting or escaping. The fix accepts only utf8, utf8mb3, or utf8mb4 after initialization; any other value raises R2dbcNonTransientResourceException with SQLState 08000 and closes the connection. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.

A network-reachable client that has not yet authenticated can hold a MongoDB Connector for BI authentication session open indefinitely by beginning a SASL-based login exchange and then declining to complete it. Because the negotiation loop had no overall time bound and the read from the client had no deadline, each such session retains a worker, a client connection slot, and its associated backend database connections until the process is restarted. Repeated use of this behavior can consume the configured connection capacity and prevent legitimate users from establishing new sessions.

When mongosqld is configured with a client certificate authority file, the listener requests a client certificate during the TLS handshake but does not require one, so a client that presents no certificate is still accepted. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (sht3x) Fix unaligned accesses Sashiko reports: In sht3x_update_client(), the 16-bit temperature and humidity values are extracted from a stack-allocated byte array using be16_to_cpup(). The pointers passed to this function are calculated as buf and buf + 3. Since the difference between the two pointers is an odd number of bytes, at least one of them is guaranteed to be at an unaligned offset. This will trigger an alignment fault on strict-alignment architectures such as ARMv5 or SPARC, resulting in a kernel panic. Fix the problem by using get_unaligned_be16() instead of be16_to_cpup(), and put_unaligned_be16() instead of cpu_to_be16().

  • Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix multiple unsafe decodes in decode_locker() decode_locker() in cls_lock_clientCVE-2026-80561 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix multiple unsafe decodes in decode_locker() decode_locker() in cls_lock_client.c contains three unsafe decode operations that allow a malicious or compromised OSD to trigger slab-out-of-bounds reads: 1. ceph_decode_copy() at the locker_id_t name field has no preceding bounds check. With p == end after ceph_start_decoding() accepts struct_len=0, this reads sizeof(ceph_entity_name) = 9 bytes past the validated buffer boundary. 2. *p += sizeof(struct ceph_timespec) after the locker_info_t header is an unchecked pointer advance. A malicious OSD can position p past end, causing all subsequent _safe checks to pass against a bogus boundary. 3. len = ceph_decode_32(p) has no preceding bounds check, and the immediately following *p += len is uncapped. A malicious OSD can send len=0xffffffff, advancing p gigabytes past end and escaping the decode window entirely. Fix all three by replacing bare operations with their safe variants: ceph_decode_copy -> ceph_decode_copy_safe *p += sizeof(...) -> ceph_decode_skip_n ceph_decode_32(p) -> ceph_decode_32_safe *p += len

  • Aug 26, 2026TarsWeb decides whether a request comes from a trusted local caller using a client-controlled header.CVE-2026-80349 · Other software · TarsCloud · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

TarsWeb decides whether a request comes from a trusted local caller using a client-controlled header. app.js sets Koa's proxy option to true without naming which upstream proxies may be trusted and without limiting the number of forwarded hops, so the request address Koa reports is taken from the X-Forwarded-For header supplied by the caller. In midware/ssoMidware.js a single branch covers both the ignored-path list and the ignoreIps allowlist from config/loginConf.js, which contains the loopback address, and that branch assigns the effective account identity from the uid query parameter before falling through to the request without validating any ticket, cookie or password. A request carrying a forged X-Forwarded-For value naming the loopback address and a uid naming an existing account therefore reaches every route the console mounts as that account, including an administrator, with no credential of any kind. Those routes include user and role administration, service configuration, and package upload and deployment. Version 3.0.16 separates the two branches so that a match on the address allowlist assigns the configured default account rather than one named by the caller.

  • Aug 25, 2026urllib is an HTTP client for Node.js that supports authentication, redirects, timeouts, and other request features.CVE-2026-55553 · Other software · node-modules · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

urllib is an HTTP client for Node.js that supports authentication, redirects, timeouts, and other request features. Prior to 4.9.1 and 2.44.1, urllib follows redirects through followRedirect but reuses caller-supplied options across origins. In src/HttpClient.ts, #requestInternal recursively calls this.#requestInternal(nextUrl.href, options, requestContext), causing options.headers and auth or digestAuth values to be reused when the redirect target has a different scheme, host, or port. Authorization, Cookie, Proxy-Authorization, x-api-key, x-auth-token, and x-access-token can therefore be sent to an attacker-controlled redirected origin, exposing credentials intended for the original origin and potentially allowing reuse against the original partner API or related services. No user interaction is required. This issue is fixed in versions 2.44.1 and 4.9.1.

  • Aug 25, 2026The OCPP 1.6 client in subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp.c reconstructs a session handle and PDU id from the uid field of a CALLRESULT message.CVE-2026-13217 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.9

The OCPP 1.6 client in subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp.c reconstructs a session handle and PDU id from the uid field of a CALLRESULT message. In ocpp_process_server_msg() the code calls atoi(strtok_r(uid, "-", &tmp)) without checking the strtok_r return value. When the server-supplied uid is empty or contains no - delimiter, strtok_r() returns NULL and atoi(NULL) dereferences a NULL pointer, which is undefined behaviour. The uid originates from network data: parse_rpc_msg() in subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp_j.c JSON-parses a frame received from the OCPP central system over TCP/WebSocket and copies the server-controlled string into the local buffer. A malicious or compromised central system, or a man-in-the-middle on a non-TLS ws:// connection, can return a malformed uid to reach the defect. No authentication beyond the existing server connection (or MITM position) is required, and the reconstructed pointer is membership-validated by ocpp_session_is_valid(), so the impact is limited to the NULL dereference rather than arbitrary pointer use. On Zephyr targets that trap access to address 0 (MMU/MPU platforms or CONFIG_NULL_POINTER_EXCEPTION_DETECTION), the dereference faults inside the OCPP read

Issue summary: In a server or client configuration with RFC7250 Raw Public Keys (RPKs) enabled, and only the private key (with no associated certificate) configured locally, a NULL pointer dereference may occur when the remote peer solicits raw public keys and also sends the typically omitted "signature_algorithms_cert" TLS extension. Impact summary: The impact is limited to a possible Denial of Service as a result of an application abort, no data disclosure or remote command execution are possible. CWE: CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference Description: While a passing comment in sample code in the documentation suggests that key-only RPK configurations are supported, the best-practice RPK configuration is to always configure a corresponding certificate (possibly self-signed or signed by any convenient CA). When the private key is configured along with a matching certificate, the "signature_algorithms_cert" extension is handled reliably even without the fix, and peer clients or servers that don't support raw public keys may be able to complete a TLS connection by pinning or verifying the corresponding certificate or its public key. • Aug 25, 2026Ech0 through 4.5.6 contains an OAuth redirect URI validation vulnerability in parseAndValidateClientRedirect (internal/service/auth/auth.go) that compares only CVE-2026-79662 · Other software · lin-snow · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8

Ech0 through 4.5.6 contains an OAuth redirect URI validation vulnerability in parseAndValidateClientRedirect (internal/service/auth/auth.go) that compares only the scheme and host of the client-supplied redirect_uri against the admin-configured allowlist, ignoring path, query, and fragment components. The redirect_uri is embedded into the signed state JWT at login time without validation. An attacker can craft a redirect_uri whose host matches an allowed origin but whose path is attacker-influenced; after the OAuth exchange the victim is redirected to that path with a one-time exchange code in the query string. If the code leaks (e.g., via Referer, analytics, or an open redirect on that host), the attacker can trade it at the public POST /api/auth/exchange endpoint for the victim's access and refresh tokens. Fixed in 4.7.3.
