  • Sep 28, 2026ConvertPlus: Deserialization of Untrusted DataCVE-2026-87741 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The ConvertPlus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.3 via the style parameter of the cp_display_preview_modal AJAX action. The vulnerability exists because the action's nonce guard is gated behind an isset() check and fails open when the cp_admin_page_nonce parameter is omitted entirely, no capability check is performed on the callback, and sanitize_text_field() — applied to the $style value before it is concatenated directly into a shortcode string evaluated by do_shortcode() — does not strip shortcode delimiters, allowing an attacker to inject a second, fully attacker-controlled [smile_modal] invocation that causes smile_modal_popup() to pass attacker-supplied base64-decoded bytes to maybe_unserialize() with no allowed_classes restriction. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject a PHP object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed o

  • Sep 28, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/2 server to exhaust memory on the client host andCVE-2026-91043 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.2

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/2 server to exhaust memory on the client host and cause a denial of service. Mint.HTTP2 enforces the client's max_header_list_size setting only on the compressed size of an inbound header block, while RFC 9113 section 6.5.2 defines the limit on the decoded header list. An HPACK indexed field costs one byte on the wire and decodes to a dynamic table entry of up to 4 KB, and join_cookie_headers/1 in lib/mint/http2.ex copies every cookie value of a response into one new binary. A header block under the default 256 KB wire limit therefore makes the client allocate about 1 GB for a single response, and several such responses in one delivery exhaust the memory of the process that owns the connection or of the whole VM. This issue affects mint: from 1.1.0 before 1.10.2.

  • Sep 28, 2026Deserialization of Untrusted Data in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause deserialization of attacker-controlled bytes, becausCVE-2026-82384 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.8

Deserialization of Untrusted Data in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause deserialization of attacker-controlled bytes, because the XML-RPC endpoint accepts vendor extension types that are deserialized during request parsing, before authentication. The servlet is mapped unconditionally, so parsing occurs even when the global XML-RPC feature is set to disabled; no non-default configuration is required for this path. This can lead to remote code execution. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which disables the extension types and rejects requests when the XML-RPC feature is disabled.

pacquet, the Rust package-manager component shipped in the pnpm npm package versions >=12.0.0-alpha.0 and <12.0.0-alpha.5, does not validate dependency alias/name paths taken from a lockfile before using them in install-time filesystem joins. When a user installs a project with an attacker-supplied lockfile using --trust-lockfile or a frozen lockfile, alias entries containing path traversal segments (for example '../../escaped-link') are used when creating dependency and package links, bin destinations, hoisted entries, and virtual-store slots, allowing symlinks and directories to be created outside the intended project and node_modules boundary. Version 12.0.0-alpha.5 validates dependency names and every virtual-store slot path with a shared safe-join containment helper before any filesystem materialization, rejecting traversal, absolute, platform-specific, and reserved names with ERR_PNPM_INVALID_DEPENDENCY_NAME.

  • Sep 27, 2026MatchTrustedPeer ignores the public key used, leading to forged CA clones passing verification.CVE-2026-93302 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comHigh 8.3

MatchTrustedPeer ignores the public key used, leading to forged CA clones passing verification. Affected builds are any that enable the macro WOLFSSL_TRUST_PEER_CERT and load CA certificates with wolfSSL_CTX_trust_peer_cert() or wolfSSL_trust_peer_cert(). The peer must know the certificates being loaded to either of those APIs to take advantage of the issue. When OPENSSL_COMPATIBLE_DEFAULTS is also defined this widens the affected API to include all CA certificate loading. Both macros are defined when using autoconf builds such as (nginx, haproxy, stunnel, wpas, apache httpd, hitch, bind, rsyslog, ffmpeg, all, distro). When the certificate is listed as a trusted peer certificate the issue previously allowed for a malicious (D)TLS server to bypass authentication once knowing which CA’s the client would accept. This also affects mutual authentication cases where the client knows which CA’s the server has loaded. If building with any of these configurations and using (D)TLS where the loaded CA’s could be known and authentication of the peer is desired, users should either: update to the latest wolfSSL version, apply the fix patch, or use the configure flag --disable-openssl-compatible

  • Sep 26, 2026GitPython before 3.1.62 does not validate the `path` field read from an untrusted .gitmodules file when updating submodules.CVE-2026-100689 · Other software · gitpython-developers · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

GitPython before 3.1.62 does not validate the `path` field read from an untrusted .gitmodules file when updating submodules. While a prior fix (GHSA-hmq2-w58f-27jc) added Submodule._validated_name() to constrain the `name` field, and GitPython's own containment guard Submodule._to_relative_path() is applied in add() and move(), Submodule.update() derives the absolute checkout location from the raw `path` value without that guard. A .gitmodules entry containing directory traversal components (e.g., path = ../../../tmp/escaped) can therefore cause directories to be created via os.makedirs() outside the repository working tree, populated from the submodule URL on the clone path, and removed via shutil.rmtree() when force_remove is used. Exploitation requires an application flow that updates submodules at a non-HEAD commit (such as a historical-commit API); the common clone-then-update flow re-derives the path from a canonical tree lookup and is not affected. The issue is fixed in GitPython 3.1.62.

A remote, unauthenticated caller can drain that shared allowance and thereby deny or degrade API access for unrelated visitors. In addition, when the TRUST_FORWARDED_IPS option is enabled without an authenticated edge/proxy, clients can supply arbitrary forwarded IP headers to select quota identities of their choosing and evade rate limiting. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. It is fixed in revision 8c2de6c506bb4efabe3f0c2ffb8370b9e23d4650 (PR #3684), where direct anonymous calls are redirected to the public API origin without consuming quota and forged identity assertions return HTTP 401. The npm CLI and OpenClaw runtime are separate products and are not affected.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 incorrectly trusts requester provenance in message.action.CVE-2026-100579 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 incorrectly trusts requester provenance in message.action. In identity-bearing Gateway deployments (authentication modes that honor caller identity and narrower operator scopes), a write-scoped caller can supply another sender's identifier to the channel authorization checks and invoke a channel action under that spoofed requester identity, reaching operations the channel adapter would have denied to the real caller. Practical impact depends on the enabled channel, the action, and the target account's permissions. Shared-secret token and password callers are full trusted operators under OpenClaw's security model and are out of scope. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1; as a workaround, restrict message.action to administrators and disable sensitive channel actions that rely on requester identity.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its trusted-host DNS checks.CVE-2026-100574 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.2

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its trusted-host DNS checks. For fetches that use the trusted-host DNS recheck, a trusted hostname that resolves to an unspecified address (0.0.0.0 or ::) bypasses the SSRF destination validation. An attacker who can influence DNS for an allowed hostname can therefore cause a guarded fetch to reach a service bound only to loopback and disclose its response; the practical impact depends on the reachable service and the data it returns. Fixed in 2026.8.1.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 allow an untrusted workspace .env file to set the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS environment variable. When an operator starts OpenClaw in attacker-controlled workspace content and then runs the Gmail setup flow, that value is inherited when gcloud is launched, and the gcloud launcher passes it as arguments to the trusted Python interpreter. A crafted CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS value can therefore cause Python to execute attacker-supplied code with the OpenClaw host user's permissions, allowing credentials to be read, files to be modified, or other processes to be started. This issue is fixed in version 2026.8.1; as a workaround, run Gmail setup only from trusted workspaces and clear inherited CLOUDSDK_* variables beforehand.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.22 and < 2026.8.1 contain an approval-bypass flaw in the exec approval policy: the policy could trust a command-running wrapper without inspecting the command carried in its arguments. After an operator allowlisted or permanently approved a benign wrapper invocation, a later agent turn could substitute an arbitrary inner command and execute it with the OpenClaw process's host privileges without a further approval prompt. Exploitation requires the relevant wrapper to resolve on the host and a prior operator decision allowing that wrapper. Transparent shell carriers and opaque utilities such as process monitors, tracers, namespace tools, and proxy wrappers were affected through related trust-resolution gaps. Fixed in 2026.8.1.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.4.5 and < 2026.8.1 can lose the originating requester's restrictions and untrusted provenance when session-derived text is persisted to session memory. In deployments where session-memory capture and dreaming are enabled, a restricted external sender whose messages are admitted with limited tools can persist instructions that are later supplied to an unattended background (dreaming) agent holding broader file and command capabilities, allowing actions beyond the authority of the original turn and affecting files, commands, or services available to that agent. • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-84465 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, when Zammad checks the digital signature on an incoming S/MIME-signed email, it does not verify that the signing certificate is genuinely trusted, it only checks whether a certificate with a matching name is already stored in the system. An attacker can create their own certificate using the name of a real, previously trusted sender and use it to send a forged email. Zammad will display that email with the same "validly signed" indicator as a genuine message from the real sender, even though the attacker never had access to that sender's actual certificate or private key. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, zammad's External Data Source feature, used to look up records from an external system, did not properly verify whether a user was allowed to see a specific ticket, user, group, or organization before including its details in a request to that external system. An authenticated user, including one with only basic customer access, could exploit this by referencing another record's ID, and thereby view details of tickets, customer accounts, teams, or organizations that did not belong to them. • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-84463 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, a user with Knowledge Base editing rights for a category can embed a video widget in a published answer with a specially crafted value. When the answer is rendered, that value is inserted into the page's HTML without being escaped for its attribute context, allowing it to break out and inject additional HTML into the page. When another user who has permission to switch between user sessions views the affected answer, the injected HTML causes their browser to silently send a request to Zammad's session-switching endpoint using their own active credentials. This results in switching their session to an account chosen by the person who wrote the Knowledge Base answer. No action is required from the viewer beyond opening the published answer. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

  • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-84458 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, when the "Automatic account link on initial logon" setting is enabled, Zammad binds an incoming third-party (SSO) identity to an existing local account by matching the email address the identity provider reports, without verifying that the provider actually confirmed ownership of that email. An attacker who controls any identity at a configured provider, including, by default, any Azure AD tenant via Zammad's multi-tenant Microsoft 365 /common app registration, can set that identity's email to a victim's address, authenticate, and be logged in as the victim. This bypasses the victim's local password entirely and affects any existing account, including agents and administrators. Zammad will honor the xms_edov ID token claim when email verification is required in the Microsoft 365 setting, treating a missing claim as unverified. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.
