  • Jul 15, 2025An authenticated multi-stage remote code execution vulnerability exists in Riverbed SteelCentral NetProfiler and NetExpress 10.8.7 virtual appliances.CVE-2025-34112 · Other software · Riverbed Technology · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10

An authenticated multi-stage remote code execution vulnerability exists in Riverbed SteelCentral NetProfiler and NetExpress 10.8.7 virtual appliances. A SQL injection vulnerability in the '/api/common/1.0/login' endpoint can be exploited to create a new user account in the appliance database. This user can then trigger a command injection vulnerability in the '/index.php?page=licenses' endpoint to execute arbitrary commands. The attacker may escalate privileges to root by exploiting an insecure sudoers configuration that allows the 'mazu' user to execute arbitrary commands as root via SSH key extraction and command chaining. Successful exploitation allows full remote root access to the virtual appliance.

  • Jul 7, 2025The WikiCategoryTagCloud extension is vulnerable to reflected XSS via the linkstyle attribute, which is improperly concatenated into inline HTML without escapinCVE-2025-53486 · Other software · Wikimedia Foundation · reported by c4f26cc8-17ff-4c99-b5e2-38fc1793eaccMedium 5.4

The WikiCategoryTagCloud extension is vulnerable to reflected XSS via the linkstyle attribute, which is improperly concatenated into inline HTML without escaping. An attacker can inject JavaScript event handlers such as onmouseenter using carefully crafted input via the {{#tag:tagcloud}} parser function, resulting in arbitrary JavaScript execution when a victim hovers over a link in the category cloud. The vulnerability exists because the linkstyle parameter is only passed through Sanitizer::checkCss() (which does not escape HTML) and is then directly inserted into a style attribute using string concatenation instead of Html::element or Html::openElement. This issue affects Mediawiki - WikiCategoryTagCloud extension: from 1.39.X before 1.39.13, from 1.42.X before 1.42.7, from 1.43.X before 1.43.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-tcp: remove tag set when second admin queue config fails Commit 104d0e2f6222 ("nvme-fabrics: reset admin connection for secure concatenation") modified nvme_tcp_setup_ctrl() to call nvme_tcp_configure_admin_queue() twice. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. • Jun 18, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: felix: suppress non-changes to the tagging protocol The way in which dsa_tree_chCVE-2022-50063 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: felix: suppress non-changes to the tagging protocol The way in which dsa_tree_change_tag_proto() works is that when dsa_tree_notify() fails, it doesn't know whether the operation failed mid way in a multi-switch tree, or it failed for a single-switch tree. So even though drivers need to fail cleanly in ds->ops->change_tag_protocol(), DSA will still call dsa_tree_notify() again, to restore the old tag protocol for potential switches in the tree where the change did succeeed (before failing for others). This means for the felix driver that if we report an error in felix_change_tag_protocol(), we'll get another call where proto_ops == old_proto_ops. If we proceed to act upon that, we may do unexpected things. For example, we will call dsa_tag_8021q_register() twice in a row, without any dsa_tag_8021q_unregister() in between. Then we will actually call dsa_tag_8021q_unregister() via old_proto_ops->teardown, which (if it manages to run at all, after walking through corrupted data structures) will leave the ports inoperational anyway. The bug can be readily reproduced if we force an error while in tag_8021q

  • Jun 18, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: alloc_tag: allocate percpu counters for module tags dynamically When a module gets unloadeCVE-2025-38076 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: alloc_tag: allocate percpu counters for module tags dynamically When a module gets unloaded it checks whether any of its tags are still in use and if so, we keep the memory containing module's allocation tags alive until all tags are unused. However percpu counters referenced by the tags are freed by free_module(). This will lead to UAF if the memory allocated by a module is accessed after module was unloaded. To fix this we allocate percpu counters for module allocation tags dynamically and we keep it alive for tags which are still in use after module unloading. This also removes the requirement of a larger PERCPU_MODULE_RESERVE when memory allocation profiling is enabled because percpu memory for counters does not need to be reserved anymore.

Icinga 2 is a monitoring system which checks the availability of network resources, notifies users of outages, and generates performance data for reporting. Prior to versions 2.12.12, 2.13.12, and 2.14.6, the VerifyCertificate() function can be tricked into incorrectly treating certificates as valid. This allows an attacker to send a malicious certificate request that is then treated as a renewal of an already existing certificate, resulting in the attacker obtaining a valid certificate that can be used to impersonate trusted nodes. This only occurs when Icinga 2 is built with OpenSSL older than version 1.1.0. This issue has been patched in versions 2.12.12, 2.13.12, and 2.14.6.

Set dev->v4l2_dev.dev during bcm2835_mmal_probe. The device pointer could be passed into v4l2_device_register to set it, however that also has other effects that would need additional changes.

  • May 2, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: HCI: Fix global-out-of-bounds To loop a variable-length array, hci_init_stage_sCVE-2023-53057 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: HCI: Fix global-out-of-bounds To loop a variable-length array, hci_init_stage_sync(stage) considers that stage[i] is valid as long as stage[i-1].func is valid. Thus, the last element of stage[].func should be intentionally invalid as hci_init0[], le_init2[], and others did. However, amp_init1[] and amp_init2[] have no invalid element, letting hci_init_stage_sync() keep accessing amp_init1[] over its valid range. This patch fixes this by adding {} in the last of amp_init1[] and amp_init2[]. ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in hci_dev_open_sync ( /v6.2-bzimage/net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:3154 /v6.2-bzimage/net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:3343 /v6.2-bzimage/net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:4418 /v6.2-bzimage/net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:4609 /v6.2-bzimage/net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:4689) Read of size 8 at addr ffffffffaed1ab70 by task kworker/u5:0/1032 CPU: 0 PID: 1032 Comm: kworker/u5:0 Not tainted 6.2.0 #3 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS 1.15.0-1 04 Workqueue: hci1 hci_power_on Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl (/v6.2-bzimage/lib/d
