Jul 10, 2026Phalcon is a high-performance, full-stack PHP framework.CVE-2026-54736 · Other software · phalcon · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Phalcon is a high-performance, full-stack PHP framework. Prior to 5.14.1, Phalcon\Encryption\Crypt::decrypt compares the attacker-supplied HMAC tag against the freshly computed HMAC using PHP/Zephir identity comparison, which lowers to a byte-wise comparison that returns early on the first differing byte. This observable timing discrepancy can allow an attacker to recover a valid tag byte-by-byte and attach it to a chosen IV and ciphertext so that decrypt() accepts tampered encrypted content as authentic. This issue is fixed in version 5.14.1.

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the RTSP service of Tenda CP3 V3.0 (firmware V31.1.9.91) allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted second SETUP request. After completing the OPTIONS, DESCRIBE, and a legitimate first SETUP request to obtain a valid session ID, the RTSP service's second-stage URL routing parser fails to validate the length of the URL field in the subsequent SETUP request. By supplying a URL consisting of exactly four consecutive repetitions of a valid RTSP URL, an attacker can bypass first-stage format validation and trigger a stack buffer overflow, causing an immediate crash of the RTSP service process and rendering the device inaccessible to all clients on the local network.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ARM: 9475/1: entry: use byte load for KASAN VMAP stack shadow Commit 44e9a3bb76e5 ("ARM: 9430/1: entry: Do a dummy read from VMAP shadow") added a dummy read from the KASAN VMAP stack shadow in __switch_to(). The read uses ldr, but the KASAN shadow address is byte-granular and is not guaranteed to be word aligned. ARMv5 faults unaligned word loads. With CONFIG_KASAN_VMALLOC and CONFIG_VMAP_STACK enabled, ARM926/VersatilePB crashes in __switch_to() with an alignment exception before reaching init. Use ldrb for the dummy shadow access. The code only needs to fault in the shadow mapping if the stack shadow is missing, so a byte load is sufficient and matches the granularity of KASAN shadow memory.

Jul 1, 2026UltraVNC viewer through 1.8.2.2 contains an off-by-one stack buffer overflow in the RFB ServerInit message handler.CVE-2026-7831 · Other software · uvnc · reported by 33c584b5-0579-4c06-b2a0-8d8329fcab9cHigh 7.6
UltraVNC viewer through 1.8.2.2 contains an off-by-one stack buffer overflow in the RFB ServerInit message handler. In vncviewer/ClientConnection.cpp, when the server-supplied nameLength equals exactly 2024 the code declares a 2024-byte stack buffer _dn[2024] and calls ReadString(_dn, 2024). ReadString writes the NUL terminator at buf[length], i.e., _dn[2024], one byte past the end of the stack buffer. A malicious VNC server can trigger this condition by advertising a desktop name of length 2024 in its ServerInit message. On release builds without stack canaries the single-byte NUL overwrite adjacent stack data. On builds with /GS stack protection the canary is corrupted and the process terminates, resulting in denial of service. User interaction (connecting the viewer to the malicious server) is required.

Jun 30, 2026A race condition in the Zephyr Bluetooth Classic RFCOMM host stack (subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/rfcomm.c) mishandles a simultaneous bidirectional session discCVE-2026-10654 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.1
A race condition in the Zephyr Bluetooth Classic RFCOMM host stack (subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/rfcomm.c) mishandles a simultaneous bidirectional session disconnect. When the local device has initiated a session teardown (state BT_RFCOMM_STATE_DISCONNECTING, DISC sent, RTX timer armed) and the connected peer concurrently sends its own DISC frame for dlci 0, rfcomm_handle_disc() invokes rfcomm_session_disconnected(), which unconditionally forced the session to BT_RFCOMM_STATE_DISCONNECTED without ever calling bt_l2cap_chan_disconnect(). Because the recovery timer was also cancelled and a later UA is ignored in the DISCONNECTED state, the session becomes permanently wedged: the underlying L2CAP channel is never released and the session slot in the fixed bt_rfcomm_pool[CONFIG_BT_MAX_CONN] array is never reclaimed (its conn pointer stays set). Subsequent bt_rfcomm_dlc_connect() calls on that connection fail with -EINVAL due to the invalid session state, so RFCOMM service is denied for that peer, and repeated occurrences can exhaust the session pool. The DISC frame is peer-controlled over the air, but exploitation requires the peer's DISC to collide with a local-initiated disconnect

Jun 29, 2026libxml2 is vulnerable to multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the xmlcatalog utility when running in --shell mode.CVE-2026-11979 · Other software · xmlsoft · reported by cvd@cert.plLow 1.8
libxml2 is vulnerable to multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the xmlcatalog utility when running in --shell mode. The usershell() function processes user input using fixed-size stack buffers without proper bounds checking. By supplying an overly long input line, an attacker can overflow internal buffers (command, arg, and argv) during input parsing. This results in memory corruption within the stack frame. Successful exploitation may cause a crash or potentially allow arbitrary code execution in the context of the xmlcatalog process. This issue has been fixed in the commit c2e233fc. Zephyr's BSD-sockets getaddrinfo() implementation (subsys/net/lib/sockets/getaddrinfo.c) passes a pointer to a stack-allocated state object (struct getaddrinfo_state ai_state) as the user_data of an asynchronous DNS resolver query. The socket layer waits on a semaphore with a timeout deliberately set slightly longer than the resolver's own per-query timeout. When that semaphore wait nonetheless times out (-EAGAIN) - which can occur when the resolver's timeout work is delayed by workqueue contention, or in the documented multi-retry configuration where CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_DNS_TIMEOUT exceeds CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_DNS_BACKOFF_INTERVAL - the pre-fix code retries the query (goto again) without cancelling the previous one and without resetting the semaphore. The previous query slot remains active in the resolver with its callback and the stack pointer as user_data, and ai_state->dns_id is overwritten so the stale query can no longer be cancelled. A subsequent DNS response delivered over UDP and matched by its 16-bit transaction id (in dispatcher_cb()/dns_read()), or the resolver's own delayed query-timeout work, then invokes dns_resolve_cb() against the now out-of-scope stack frame, writin

Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.15.3 and 5.2.0, Echo's router and static file handler disagree on URL path decoding. The router matches routes using the raw encoded path (preserving %2F as-is), while StaticDirectoryHandler unescapes %2F to / before resolving filesystem paths. This allows an attacker to bypass route-level access controls and read static files without authorization. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.15.3 and 5.2.0.

Hydra through 9.7, fixed in commit 9cc84c2, contains a stack buffer overflow in NTLM authentication across SMTP, POP3, IMAP, NNTP, HTTP, HTTP-Proxy, and HTTP-Proxy-Urlenum modules when processing malicious NTLM Type-2 challenges. A malicious server can send a crafted NTLM Type-2 challenge with an excessively long domain string, causing base64-encoded response data to overflow a 500-byte stack buffer by 18 to 330 bytes, enabling remote code execution on systems without stack protection.

Jun 25, 2026Zephyr's IPv6 network stack can be prevented from receiving or processing future incoming packets by sending a small number of maliciously fragmented IPv6 packeCVE-2026-13351 · Other software · zephyrproject-rtos · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.5
Zephyr's IPv6 network stack can be prevented from receiving or processing future incoming packets by sending a small number of maliciously fragmented IPv6 packets. When such a packet is handled by the fragment-header processing path, the associated RX network packet buffer (allocated from a memory slab) is not released back to the pool. Repeating the malicious packet exhausts all RX buffer slots, after which the device can no longer obtain RX buffers and stops receiving traffic, resulting in a denial of service.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rseq: Fix using an uninitialized stack variable in rseq_exit_user_update() There is an bug in which an uninitialized stack variable is used in rseq_exit_user_update() as reported by syzbot: BUG: KMSAN: kernel-infoleak in rseq_set_ids_get_csaddr include/linux/rseq_entry.h:502 [inline] The local variable: struct rseq_ids ids = { .cpu_id = task_cpu(t), .mm_cid = task_mm_cid(t), .node_id = cpu_to_node(ids.cpu_id), }; According to the C standard, the evaluation order of expressions in an initializer list is indeterminately sequenced. The compiler (Clang, in this KMSAN build) evaluates `cpu_to_node(ids.cpu_id)` *before* `ids.cpu_id` is initialized with `task_cpu(t)`. This is fixed by moving the assignment of ids.node_id outside the structure initialization.

Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: dummy: fix UMP event stack overread The dummy sequencer port forwards events byCVE-2026-53241 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: dummy: fix UMP event stack overread The dummy sequencer port forwards events by copying an incoming struct snd_seq_event into a stack temporary, rewriting source and destination, and dispatching the temporary to subscribers. That legacy event storage is smaller than struct snd_seq_ump_event. When a UMP event reaches the dummy client, the copy leaves the UMP flag set but only provides legacy-sized stack storage. The subscriber delivery path then uses snd_seq_event_packet_size() and copies a UMP-sized packet from that stack object, reading past the end of the temporary. Use the existing union __snd_seq_event storage and copy the packet size reported for the incoming event before rewriting the common routing fields. This preserves the full UMP packet for UMP events while keeping legacy event handling unchanged.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_meta_bridge: fix stale stack leak via IIFHWADDR register NFT_META_BRI_IIFHWADDR declares its destination register with len = ETH_ALEN (6 bytes), which the register-init tracking rounds up to two 32-bit registers (8 bytes). nft_meta_bridge_get_eval() then does memcpy(dest, br_dev->dev_addr, ETH_ALEN), writing only 6 bytes and leaving the upper 2 bytes of the second register as uninitialised nft_do_chain() stack. A downstream load of that register span leaks those stale bytes to userspace. Zero the second register before the memcpy so the full declared span is written.

Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_fib: fix stale stack leak via the OIFNAME register For NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIFNACVE-2026-53134 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_fib: fix stale stack leak via the OIFNAME register For NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIFNAME the destination register is declared with len = IFNAMSIZ (four 32-bit registers), but on the lookup-fail, RTN_LOCAL and oif-mismatch paths nft_fib{4,6}_eval() only writes one register via "*dest = 0". The remaining three registers are left as whatever was on the stack in nft_do_chain()'s struct nft_regs, and a downstream expression that loads the register span can leak that uninitialised kernel stack to userspace. The NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT existence check has the same shape: it is only meaningful for NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF, yet it was accepted for any result type while the eval stores a single byte via nft_reg_store8(), leaving the rest of the declared span stale. Fix both: - replace the bare "*dest = 0" in the eval with nft_fib_store_result(), which strscpy_pad()s the whole IFNAMSIZ for OIFNAME (and is already used on the other early-return path), and - restrict NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT to NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF and declare its destination as a single u8, so the marked span matches the one byte the eval writes.

Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: fix skb memory leak in deferred qdisc drops When the network stack cleans up thCVE-2026-53079 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: fix skb memory leak in deferred qdisc drops When the network stack cleans up the deferred list via qdisc_run_end(), it operates on the root qdisc. If the root qdisc do not implement the TCQ_F_DEQUEUE_DROPS flag the packets queue to free are never freed and gets stranded on the child's local to_free list. Fix this by making qdisc_dequeue_drop() aware of the root qdisc. It fetches the root qdisc and check for the TCQ_F_DEQUEUE_DROPS flag. If the flag is present, the packet is appended directly to the root's to_free list. Otherwise, drop it directly as it was done before the optimization was implemented.

Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: zero the whole vnet header in tun_put_user() tun_put_user() declares an on-stack struCVE-2026-52940 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: zero the whole vnet header in tun_put_user() tun_put_user() declares an on-stack struct virtio_net_hdr_v1_hash_tunnel without zeroing it. For a non-tunnel skb, virtio_net_hdr_tnl_from_skb() only initializes the first 10 bytes (sizeof(struct virtio_net_hdr)), leaving bytes 10..23 (num_buffers and the hash/tunnel fields) as stack garbage. An unprivileged user can set the vnet header size to 24 with TUNSETVNETHDRSZ, so __tun_vnet_hdr_put() copies all 24 bytes of the partially-initialized struct to userspace, leaking 14 bytes of kernel stack on every read of a non-tunnel packet. Fix it the same way tun_get_user() already does by zeroing the whole header right after declaration.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tap: fix stack info leak in tap_ioctl() SIOCGIFHWADDR In the SIOCGIFHWADDR path, tap_ioctl() copies 16 bytes of an uninitialised on-stack struct sockaddr_storage to userspace via ifr_hwaddr, but netif_get_mac_address() only writes sa_family and dev->addr_len (6 for Ethernet) bytes, leaving sa_data[6..13] uninitialised. Jun 23, 2026In OpenStack Swift before 2.37.2, proxy-server does not strip internal update headers (X-Container-Host, X-Container-Device, X-Delete-At-Host, X-Delete-At-DevicCVE-2026-50221 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREMedium 5.3
In OpenStack Swift before 2.37.2, proxy-server does not strip internal update headers (X-Container-Host, X-Container-Device, X-Delete-At-Host, X-Delete-At-Device) from client requests before forwarding them to object-servers. An authenticated user with write access can inject these headers to redirect container update requests to an attacker-controlled server, enabling server-side request forgery. The SSRF requests expose internal cluster metadata including storage policy indexes, partition mappings, device names, and when at rest encryption is enabled, cipher text and initialization vectors for the container-level encryption key. The attacker can also cause "ghost listings" in arbitrary containers via the shard-range redirect mechanism.
