Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the Express saved search preset delete and edit dialogs . An authenticated user holding only view permission on a single Express entity could therefore permanently delete, with no undo, or rename saved search presets owned by Express entities for which they had no permission, and a renamed preset name was displayed back to users of the targeted entity, enabling defacement or social engineering. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. • Sep 15, 2026Incorrect privilege assignment in the admin user-management component of Webkul Bagisto 2.4.9 allows an authenticated backend user holding only the settings.useCVE-2026-79411 · Other software · reported by MITREHigh 8.8

Incorrect privilege assignment in the admin user-management component of Webkul Bagisto 2.4.9 allows an authenticated backend user holding only the settings.users.edit permission to escalate to full administrator. The user-update endpoint (route admin.settings.users.update, UserController::update()) does not verify that the actor is permitted to grant the requested role, does not prevent a user from changing their own role, and does not restrict assignment to roles whose permission set is a subset of the actor's own. By submitting a request that sets role_id to the Administrator role for their own account, a low-privileged administrator gains every admin-panel capability, including store configuration, payment gateway credentials, and customer PII.

  • Sep 15, 2026Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF.CVE-2026-53941 · Other software · inspektor-gadget · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF. From 0.27.0 until 0.53.1, the uprobe library resolver can allow an unprivileged container to consume excessive CPU and block other containers from starting by supplying a crafted /etc/ld.so.cache file while an uprobe-based gadget is active. The parser in pkg/uprobetracer/ldcache_parser.go trusts EntryCount enough to perform excessive iteration, computes cache1Len with overflowing uint32 arithmetic, and repeatedly calls readStringFromBytes in pkg/uprobetracer/bytes.go, where byte-by-byte immutable string concatenation produces quadratic work. While this processing occurs, pkg/container-hook holds the fanotify container-start pause, allowing a crafted cache to delay startup for roughly a minute, prevent Docker from starting other containers, and degrade monitoring. Processing caches from already-running containers can still consume CPU but does not hold the new-container startup pause, and the advisory establishes no confidentiality or integrity impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.53.1.

  • Sep 15, 2026In Concrete CMS before 9.5.3, the Document Library block stored the file-set identifiers submitted through fsID[] without validating them as integers, and when CVE-2026-81895 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deHigh 8.5

In Concrete CMS before 9.5.3, the Document Library block stored the file-set identifiers submitted through fsID[] without validating them as integers, and when the block was configured with setMode set to any it concatenated each stored identifier directly into the file-set filter query instead of casting it or binding it as a parameter. An authenticated user permitted to add or edit a Document Library block could therefore persist SQL syntax in the block configuration (btDocumentLibrary.setIds), and that stored expression was executed every time the published page containing the block was rendered, producing stored, time-based blind SQL injection. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 8.5 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. • Sep 15, 2026Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF.CVE-2026-44778 · Other software · inspektor-gadget · reported by GitHubLow 2.9

Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF. From 0.28.0 until 0.53.1, the USDT note parser in pkg/uprobetracer/usdt.go can allow an unprivileged container to crash or exhaust the memory of the privileged Inspektor Gadget process when a custom gadget containing a SEC("usdt/...") eBPF section attaches to a crafted ELF binary. The getUsdtInfo() function reads the .note.stapsdt section without validating that DescSize is large enough for three address fields, allowing an out-of-bounds slice operation to panic, and it uses untrusted NameSize and DescSize values for allocations that can consume gigabytes of memory. The parser also invokes debug/elf without panic recovery, allowing other malformed ELF structures to terminate the process. No gadget shipped by Inspektor Gadget uses USDT probes, so only deployments using custom USDT gadgets are affected, and the demonstrated impact is denial of service rather than code execution or privilege escalation. This issue is fixed in version 0.53.1.

Concrete CMS versions 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 stored the Page Container icon value submitted through the dashboard without validating it against the set of known container icons. The unvalidated value was later concatenated into the src attribute of an img tag by a helper that did not encode attribute output, and was rendered raw in the Containers dashboard list and editor views. A user with delegated access to the Page Containers dashboard could store a crafted icon value that broke out of the src attribute and executed script in the authenticated session of another editor or administrator who viewed the list, enabling session token theft and privileged dashboard actions. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.0 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. • Sep 14, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-73497 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). From 0.17.0 until 0.22.0, validate_url_for_ssrf resolves the attacker-controlled X-Atlassian-Jira-Url and X-Atlassian-Confluence-Url header host once at middleware time, but the outbound request is built with the raw hostname and resolves it again at connection time with no IP pinning. An attacker-controlled DNS-rebinding name can return a public IP during validation and 169.254.169.254 or another internal IP during connection, enabling unauthenticated server-side requests to cloud metadata or internal services. The flaw spans src/mcp_atlassian/utils/urls.py, src/mcp_atlassian/servers/main.py, and src/mcp_atlassian/servers/dependencies.py; validate_url_for_ssrf returns only a verdict rather than a pinned IP, UserTokenMiddleware processes the attacker-controlled headers before fetcher creation, and the Jira and Confluence fetchers use the raw hostname. MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, the confluence_upload_attachment and confluence_upload_attachments tools pass a client-controlled file_path through src/mcp_atlassian/confluence/attachments.py upload_attachment, and the jira_update_issue attachments parameter reaches src/mcp_atlassian/jira/attachments.py upload_attachment, without confining either path to an approved server workspace. In a remote HTTP, SSE, or multi-user deployment, absolute or traversing paths are resolved on the MCP server and uploaded to Atlassian, allowing a client with write-tool access to disclose server files, environment-held Atlassian credentials, or another tenant's data. A local single-user stdio deployment does not cross this trust boundary because the server runs in the caller's environment. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.

  • Sep 14, 2026Description `SimpleACLAuthorizer` evaluated the user-level command set by returning early when `nimbus.users` was empty, before `nimbus.groups` was considered.CVE-2026-82431 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.8

Description `SimpleACLAuthorizer` evaluated the user-level command set by returning early when `nimbus.users` was empty, before `nimbus.groups` was considered. An operator who restricted cluster access by group alone, leaving `nimbus.users` unset, therefore received no restriction at all: every authenticated principal was permitted every user-level operation, including `submitTopology`, `beginFileUpload` and `getNimbusConf`. `docs/SECURITY.md` presents `nimbus.groups` as a supported way to lock down a cluster, so a deployment following the documentation could believe it was restricted while it was not. The failure is silent; nothing in the logs or the configuration indicates that the group list is being ignored. Both lists left empty continues to mean that no restriction is configured, which is the shipped default and is unchanged. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where `nimbus.groups` is evaluated whether or not `nimbus.users` is set. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should additionally populate `nimbus.users` with the intended principals, since a non-empty user list causes the group list to be evaluated on affected versions. Operators should review Nimbus access logs for op

Description When launching a Docker or OCI worker, the setuid-root `worker-launcher` first changes ownership of the entire worker directory to the untrusted topology user, and only afterwards reads and acts on the command file that the supervisor wrote into that same directory. The file is opened without `O_NOFOLLOW` and without re-verifying its owner, so between the ownership change and the read the tenant can replace its contents. For the Docker path the parsed command is executed with real uid 0, and the command sanitiser is not a privilege boundary: it admits `-v` with an arbitrary source, `--device`, `--cap-add`, `--security-opt`, `--user` and `--net`, and copies positional arguments through verbatim. A rewritten file therefore yields an attacker-authored, root-equivalent container invocation with the host filesystem available. For the OCI path the same rewrite window applies, and mount validation is structural only, with no source or destination allow-list, so arbitrary host paths can be bind-mounted read-write into the container. The `username` field of the command file is likewise attacker-settable and is checked only against non-root and minimum-uid rules, permitting ex

  • Sep 14, 2026Description The setuid-root `worker-launcher` binary adjusts ownership and permissions of worker directories by walking the tree with FTS and calling `lchown` CVE-2026-82429 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.8

Description The setuid-root `worker-launcher` binary adjusts ownership and permissions of worker directories by walking the tree with FTS and calling `lchown` and `chmod` on each entry's full pathname while running with an effective uid of 0. Both syscalls re-resolve the path at the time of the call, after FTS has classified the entry, and the trees being walked are owned and writable by the untrusted topology user. A tenant running code on a supervisor node could therefore replace an intermediate directory component with a symbolic link between classification and the privileged operation, redirecting the root-owned `lchown` or `chmod` at an arbitrary file on the host. The operation is repeatable at will, since crashing a worker forces a relaunch and blob updates re-run the walk, so a failed attempt costs the attacker nothing. This crosses the boundary that `supervisor.run.worker.as.user` and container isolation are intended to enforce. It is the same defect class as the Hadoop container-executor issues from which this code derives. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the privileged walk operates on file descriptors it has already stat'd rather than on pathnames re-resolved at

MISP contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the UserSettingsController. The actions setTheme, setHomePage, and eventIndexColumnToggle were explicitly added to the Security component's unlockedActions list, which disabled all CSRF validation (both token and field-hash checks) for those endpoints. Because these endpoints accept POST requests and modify per-user application state (theme selection, default homepage URL, and event index column visibility), an attacker who can induce a logged-in MISP user to load a malicious page (e.g., via a crafted link, embedded image, or auto-submitting form) can forge requests that alter the victim's settings without their knowledge or consent. The most impactful action is setHomePage, which allows an attacker to redirect the victim's default landing page to an arbitrary attacker-controlled URL, potentially facilitating phishing or further social engineering. The setTheme action can alter the user's visual theme, and eventIndexColumnToggle can change which columns are displayed in the event index view. No authentication bypass is involved; the victim must already be authenticated to MISP. The vulnerability was reported by the

The mcumgr SMP settings-management group handlers settings_mgmt_read(), settings_mgmt_write(), and settings_mgmt_delete() in subsys/mgmt/mcumgr/grp/settings_mgmt/src/settings_mgmt.c allocate a key_name buffer (and, for read, a data buffer) via k_malloc() when CONFIG_MCUMGR_GRP_SETTINGS_BUFFER_TYPE_HEAP is enabled, relying on the end: label to k_free() them. When CONFIG_MCUMGR_GRP_SETTINGS_ACCESS_HOOK is also enabled and the application access hook rejects a request by returning status MGMT_CB_ERROR_RC, the handler executed return ret_rc; directly, bypassing end: and leaking the heap allocation on every rejected request. The settings handlers are reachable over the unauthenticated SMP transport (Bluetooth LE, UART, or UDP, depending on product configuration). The access hook is the mechanism applications use to deny unauthorized settings access, and MGMT_CB_ERROR_RC is a common rejection style, so an attacker who can send settings read/write/delete commands that the hook rejects triggers a heap leak on each attempt. Because the leaked memory is never reclaimed until reboot, a sustained stream of rejected requests monotonically exhausts the kernel heap until k_malloc() fails, denyi

Forgejo 13.0.0 through 16.0.4, when "[federation] ENABLED = true" is set, has a spoofing issue that affects identity integrity but does not allow account takeover or content modification. It does not verify that the HTTP Signature on an incoming ActivityPub activity was produced by the key belonging to the actor named in the activity body. The signature verification in routers/api/v1/activitypub/reqsignature.go validates the request signature, but the inbox activity handlers subsequently read the acting identity from the attacker-controlled JSON body without binding it to the verified signing key. Additionally, the signed Digest header is not recomputed against the received request body. A remote attacker who hosts a single valid ActivityPub actor and keypair can therefore submit signature-valid activities attributed to any actor identity they name.

  • Sep 11, 2026Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets.CVE-2026-54166 · Other software · Shelf-nu · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets. Prior to version 1.20.3, authenticated users with the `asset:import` permission can trigger server-side HTTP requests to attacker-controlled URLs through the Asset CSV Content Import feature. The `imageUrl` validation logic can be bypassed through multiple techniques, including image-extension suffixes, image-related path keywords, domain substring matching, and redirect chains. After validation, the server performs an unrestricted `fetch()` request to the supplied URL. This results in a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allows attackers to reach internal network services, cloud metadata endpoints, and arbitrary external hosts from the application's network context. Additionally, response bodies are fully buffered before size validation, creating a potential memory exhaustion vector. Version 1.20.3 patches the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clocksource/drivers/nxp-pit: Fix IRQ leak on cpuhp_setup_state error path When cpuhp_setup_state fails after pit_clockevent_per_cpu_init has successfully called request_irq, the error handling jumps directly to out_pit_clocksource_unregister without freeing the registered IRQ. This leaks the IRQ line and, since kfree(pit) follows, leaves a dangling pointer registered as the interrupt handler's dev_id, potentially leading to a use-after-free if the IRQ fires afterwards. Fix it by calling pit_clockevent_per_cpu_exit to properly release the IRQ before falling through to the existing cleanup chain.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/pagewalk: fix stale walk->action escaping walk_pmd_range() If ->pmd_entry() sets walk->action = ACTION_AGAIN, the pmd_none() check is retried. The PMD entry may be cleared at the point of retry. In this case, if walk->ops->install_pte is not specified, the code continues to the next PMD entry in the range without resetting walk->action to ACTION_SUBTREE. This leaves walk->action erroneously set to ACTION_AGAIN, which is incorrect. This was incorrect but not problematic up until commit 3b89863c3fa4 ("mm/pagewalk: fix race between concurrent split and refault") which updated walk_pud_range() to check for walk->action == ACTION_AGAIN upon walk_pmd_range()'s return, causing the PUD walk to be retried. In this case this results in duplicate walk callbacks being invoked, which is erroneous and will break any caller that is not idempotent with respect to this (and waste time for those which are).
