  • Sep 15, 2026GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources.CVE-2026-55864 · Other software · geonetwork · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources. Prior to 4.2.17 and 4.4.12, POST /api/tools/ogc/sld accepted a caller-supplied WMS server URL and performed a server-side HTTP GET without destination validation. An anonymous attacker could make the GeoNetwork server send requests to internal hosts that are not publicly reachable. When the outbound response was XML, the endpoint could store and return the fetched body, making the request forgery non-blind and enabling internal data disclosure, authorization bypass, and network reconnaissance. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.17 and 4.4.12.

  • Sep 15, 2026Signal K Server is a server application that runs on a central hub in a boat.CVE-2026-55591 · Other software · SignalK · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

Signal K Server is a server application that runs on a central hub in a boat. Prior to 2.28.0, makeRemoteRequest() in src/serverroutes.ts accepted attacker-controlled host, port, useTLS, and selfsignedcert parameters from the testSignalKConnection, requestAccess, and checkAccessRequest endpoints without validating the destination. When security was not configured, addAdminMiddleware() was a no-op in dummysecurity.ts, leaving all three endpoints accessible without authentication. The server could be forced to contact loopback, private, link-local, cloud metadata, or arbitrary external destinations, and selfsignedcert could disable certificate verification for outbound HTTPS requests. The checkAccessRequest endpoint also interpolated requestId into its destination path, allowing traversal to other paths on the selected host. Distinct success, connection-refused, and timeout responses enabled internal port scanning; returned response bodies enabled cloud metadata and internal-service data exfiltration; requestAccess enabled server-side POST requests with attacker-controlled JSON; and access to cluster-internal services could support lateral movement. This issue is fixed in version 2.2

  • Sep 15, 2026Cosmos provides users the ability self-host a home server by acting as a secure gateway to your application, as well as a server manager.CVE-2026-49446 · Other software · azukaar · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

Cosmos provides users the ability self-host a home server by acting as a secure gateway to your application, as well as a server manager. Prior to 0.22.19, tokenMiddleware in src/proxy/routerGen.go can return through the Constellation tunnel bypass before removing x-cosmos-user, x-cosmos-role, x-cosmos-user-role, and x-cosmos-mfa headers and before invoking AdminOnlyWithRedirect. An attacker with a valid x-cstln-auth API key for an enrolled device who reaches Cosmos through the Constellation Nebula tunnel can supply a chosen x-cosmos-user value to a route with AuthEnabled enabled when the upstream application trusts that forward-auth header. The request can bypass Cosmos JWT, password, MFA, and AdminOnly checks, allowing user impersonation and admin-tier reads or writes exposed by the proxied application. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.19.

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.58.0, ExportController::createExportTemplate() and ExportController::editExportTemplate() inherit only the class-level create_export permission, which ROLE_TEAMLEAD receives by default, and omit the create_export_template permission required by the API routes and user interface. • Sep 15, 2026Kimai is an open-source time tracking application.CVE-2026-52827 · Other software · kimai · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.59.0, the KIMAI_SESSION cookie issued after password verification but before TOTP completion is accepted by every /api route because config/packages/security.yaml protects the API with IS_AUTHENTICATED and App\API\Authentication\ApiRequestMatcher routes an existing session through the main firewall. A Scheb TwoFactorToken satisfies that access rule, and App\Voter\ApiVoter grants API access to its User, allowing an attacker with a valid account password to use authenticated REST API operations without entering the second factor even though web routes remain blocked. Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.57.0, GET or POST requests to /en/admin/project/{id}/rate/{rate}, /en/admin/customer/{id}/rate/{rate}, and /en/admin/activity/{id}/rate/{rate} independently resolve the authorized parent identifier and the attacker-selected child rate identifier without confirming that the ProjectRate, CustomerRate, or ActivityRate belongs to that parent. An authenticated user who can edit one parent object can pair it with a rate record from an unauthorized project, customer, or activity and persist changes to billing configuration in kimai2_projects_rates, kimai2_customers_rates, or kimai2_activities_rates. • Sep 15, 2026Kimai is an open-source time tracking application.CVE-2026-52824 · Other software · kimai · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.58.0, the official Docker image sets APP_SECRET to the public value change_this_to_something_unique in Dockerfile, and .docker/entrypoint.sh neither replaces nor rejects that value before Symfony uses it as kernel.secret. An unauthenticated attacker who reaches a deployment that did not override APP_SECRET, knows a username, correctly guesses the account ID associated with that username, and targets an account without active two-factor authentication can forge HMAC-protected authentication artifacts, including KIMAI_REMEMBER cookies and login links, to access the account without its password. Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.58.0, TimesheetController exposes GET /api/timesheets/{id}/stop and GET /api/timesheets/{id}/restart, which reuse an authenticated browser session and perform state-changing operations through GET requests without a request-forgery defense. A remote attacker can cause a logged-in user to request either route from attacker-controlled content, stopping a running timesheet or restarting a historical entry to create and start a new timesheet without the user's consent. The unauthorized changes can corrupt time records, billing, reports, approvals, and audits. This issue is fixed in version 2.58.0.

  • Sep 15, 2026Kimai is an open-source time tracking application.CVE-2026-52822 · Other software · kimai · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.58.0, PATCH /api/timesheets/{id}/restart, PATCH /api/timesheets/{id}/duplicate, and the web duplicate workflow can derive a new record from an owned historical timesheet after the user's access to its project or activity has been revoked. TimesheetVoter evaluates the own-timesheet permission before current team access, and its canStart() logic validates object visibility but does not verify the user's current team access to the referenced project and activity. An old entry therefore acts as a persistent capability to create new time records under an unauthorized project and activity, corrupting budgets, statistics, reports, and invoices after an administrative revocation. This issue is fixed in version 2.58.0.

  • Sep 15, 2026Kimai is an open-source time tracking application.CVE-2026-52821 · Other software · kimai · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.57.0, GET or POST requests to /en/admin/activity/create/{project} and /en/admin/project/create/{customer} require only the generic create_activity or create_project capability and do not verify edit access to the supplied Project or Customer object. A user who knows a valid project.id or customer identifier can use the preset-parent creation logic in src/Controller/ActivityController.php or src/Controller/ProjectController.php to persist a new child business object under an unauthorized parent, polluting project or customer configuration and influencing later time-entry, rate, reporting, and billing behavior. This issue is fixed in version 2.57.0.

  • Sep 15, 2026Kimai is an open-source time tracking application.CVE-2026-52820 · Other software · kimai · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.57.0, PATCH /api/timesheets/{id} and POST /api/timesheets accept a user-controlled project identifier through TimesheetApiEditForm and FormTrait, and ProjectRepository::getQueryBuilderForFormType() places that identifier in an unconditional OR branch that bypasses the team access criteria. Any authenticated user with edit_own_timesheet can therefore assign an owned timesheet to a project outside the user's teams, persist unauthorized project attribution, and retrieve project and customer metadata through GET /api/timesheets/{id}?full=true. TimesheetTeamAccessValidator now checks changed project and activity associations against current team access. This issue is fixed in version 2.57.0.

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.57.0, the GET /api/timesheets list endpoint accepts user and users[] target identifiers from a caller with view_other_timesheet but does not apply access_user or verify that a ROLE_TEAMLEAD requester leads a team containing each target user. TimesheetController::cgetAction() adds the resolved users directly to the query while project and customer filtering still permits records on unscoped projects or projects sharing ordinary team membership, allowing a teamlead to retrieve another user's descriptions, timing data, tags, rate, and internalRate even though GET /api/timesheets/{id} would deny access through TimesheetVoter. This issue is fixed in version 2.57.0.

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, translateSecurityPolicyForRoute in internal/gatewayapi/securitypolicy.go dereferences a nil authorization value when a namespace-scoped tenant creates a SecurityPolicy targeting a TCPRoute and omits spec.authorization. The persistent object triggers the panic on every reconcile; recovery in message/watchutil.go keeps the process alive but unwinds the runner/runner.go handle callback, stalling controller-wide xDS and infrastructure intermediate-representation publishing until an administrator deletes the object. The data plane continues to serve the last known good configuration while publication is stalled. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, an HTTPRoute can use an extension-managed custom backendRef to reference a backend resource in another namespace without a matching Gateway API ReferenceGrant in the target namespace. The custom-backend branch in internal/gatewayapi/route.go omits validateBackendNamespace, allowing the route-owning namespace to bind to and use the resource without the backend namespace owner's consent and violating the Gateway API cross-namespace authorization model. • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53716 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, getFileFromGZ in internal/wasm/httpfetcher.go calls io.ReadAll on a gzip.Reader without limiting decompressed output when a tenant-controlled EnvoyExtensionPolicy.spec.wasm[].code.http.url points to a reachable compressed Wasm payload. The 256 MiB compressed-input cap does not constrain the expanded size, no operator Wasm URL allowlist exists, and the optional sha256 check occurs only after decompression, so a comparatively small gzip stream can force a multi-gigabyte allocation in the shared controller. The resulting out-of-memory termination restarts the controller, re-reconciles the persistent custom resource, and can create a persistent cross-tenant control-plane outage. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

  • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53715 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, HTTPServer.ServeHTTP in internal/wasm/httpserver.go reads the plain mappingPath2Cache map without synchronization while HTTPServer.Get writes the same map during EnvoyExtensionPolicy translation. An attacker with pod-network access to unauthenticated port 18002 and tenant permission to churn policies with distinct Wasm URLs can flood GET requests until a per-request reader overlaps a writer. Go's concurrent map read and write detection invokes runtime.throw, which the net/http connection recovery cannot catch, terminating the controller process and causing a timing-dependent, cross-tenant control-plane denial of service until Kubernetes restarts the pod. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

  • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53714 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, the xDS gRPC server in GatewayNamespaceMode, configured through provider.kubernetes.deploy.type=GatewayNamespace, installs a JWT StreamInterceptor but no UnaryInterceptor, leaving every unary Fetch RPC unauthenticated. The streaming interceptor also authenticates only discoveryv3.DeltaDiscoveryRequest messages; a discoveryv3.DiscoveryRequest used by the State-of-the-World protocol fails the type assertion and returns success without JWT validation. Any pod that can reach port 18000 can use the unauthenticated unary or State-of-the-World paths to retrieve TLS private keys through StreamSecrets, all xDS resources through StreamAggregatedResources, backend endpoints through StreamClusters or StreamEndpoints, and routing configuration through StreamRoutes or StreamListeners. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, to_absolute_normalized_path in internal/gatewayapi/luavalidator/security.lua does not collapse redundant separators before is_critical_path evaluates Lua submitted through EnvoyExtensionPolicy during default Strict validation. Linux resolves a double-slash absolute path as the corresponding single-slash path, but the validator does not match the redundant-separator form, allowing submitted Lua to read arbitrary files from the gateway controller pod. Exposed files can include Kubernetes service-account tokens, TLS certificates, and process environment data, and the disclosed credentials can provide access to sensitive Kubernetes API Server or Gateway xDS server information. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

  • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53717 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, internal/wasm/imagefetcher.go follows tenant-controlled EnvoyExtensionPolicy spec.wasm[].code.image.url values to Docker or OCI Wasm layers, and extractWasmPluginBinary uses the untrusted tar-header h.Size value to allocate memory before validating the entry name or declared size. A small PAX or GNU tar header can therefore claim a multi-terabyte entry even though the surrounding LimitReader restricts only the bytes read from the stream, and no registry allowlist prevents a permitted tenant from selecting an attacker-controlled registry that the controller can reach. The allocation is attempted for every tar entry and can cause an unrecoverable Go runtime out-of-memory failure; because the custom resource persists, reconciliation repeatedly crash-loops the shared controller and causes a single-request, non-volumetric, cluster-wide control-plane denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.
