  • Oct 7, 2026Homer is open source telecom observability software.CVE-2026-62252 · Other software · sipcapture · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

Homer is open source telecom observability software. Prior to version 11.0.283, on every fresh Homer deployment using internal authentication, the bootstrap process automatically creates an `admin` account with the password `sipcapture` (stored as a legacy SHA-256 hex hash). There is no first-login forced-change mechanism. Any attacker who reaches the login endpoint immediately gains full administrative access. Version 11.0.283 patches the issue.

  • Oct 7, 2026Homer is open source telecom observability software.CVE-2026-62251 · Other software · sipcapture · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

Homer is open source telecom observability software. Prior to version 11.0.283, the `V4StatisticsQuery` handler passes the user-supplied `rawquery` field directly to DuckDB without calling the `sqlvalidator.ValidateRawSQL` function used throughout the rest of the codebase. Any authenticated user can execute arbitrary SQL statements against all data accessible through the FlightSQL service. Version 11.0.283 patches the issue.

  • Oct 7, 2026Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals.CVE-2026-106557 · Other software · backstage · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6 and 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package did not sufficiently validate TechDocs Markdown extension configuration. An authenticated user who can register or modify documentation sources may cause a TechDocs build to access resources outside the intended documentation boundary, potentially exposing backend-host data or internal network resources. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 when pymdown-extensions 10.21.3 or later is also used, normally through mkdocs-techdocs-core 1.7.0 or later.

  • Oct 7, 2026Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals.CVE-2026-106558 · Other software · backstage · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package improperly validated mapping-style markdown_extensions configuration. An authenticated attacker who can register or influence an SCM-backed documentation source may bypass TechDocs sanitization and cause Python objects to be imported and instantiated in the generator runtime, leading to arbitrary code execution. Earlier fixes in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 did not fully address the supported mapping representation of markdown_extensions. Impact is greatest when documentation generation runs with backend credentials, filesystem access, or internal network access. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1.

  • Oct 7, 2026wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager.CVE-2026-46438 · Other software · wger-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager. Prior to version 2.6, an authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary workout log entries into any other user's `SlotEntry` by supplying the victim's `slot_entry` ID in a `POST /api/v2/workoutlog/` request. The `slot_entry` foreign key is not included in the ownership verification performed by `WorkoutLogViewSet.get_owner_objects()`, so the server accepts and persists the cross-user reference without error. Because `SlotEntry.get_config_data()` retrieves associated logs via `self.workoutlog_set.all()` with no user filter, the attacker's injected data is silently folded into the victim's progressive-overload calculations, corrupting their auto-generated weight and repetition targets. Version 2.6 contains a patch.

wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager. Versions prior to 2.6 have a vulnerability in the authentication/session lifecycle of `wger` where bearer-style API credentials remain valid after a user logs out and after a user changes their password. An attacker who steals a victim’s DRF authtoken (`Authorization: Token ...`) or JWT refresh token can continue to access protected `/api/v2/*` endpoints until the token is manually rotated/deleted (DRF token) or naturally expires (JWT refresh). wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager. Prior to version 2.6, the `trainer_login` view in wger accepts GET requests and executes `django_login()` without any CSRF protection, because Django's `CsrfViewMiddleware` only enforces tokens on unsafe methods (POST/PUT/PATCH/DELETE). A trainer with `gym.gym_trainer` and `gym.add_adminusernote` permissions and no gym assignment (`gym=None`) can read private admin notes, uploaded documents, gym contracts, user configuration, and user permission data for **any other unaffiliated user** on the instance. The subsequent querysets filter only on the attacker-supplied `member_id` with no secondary gym-scoped validation, so all records are disclosed. Version 2.6 fixes the issue.

  • Oct 7, 2026LMCache multiprocess mode, also called distributed mode, opens an unauthenticated ZeroMQ ROUTER so worker processes can register and share KV cache blocks.CVE-2026-105192 · Other software · LMCache · reported by reefs@jfrog.comCritical 9.8

LMCache multiprocess mode, also called distributed mode, opens an unauthenticated ZeroMQ ROUTER so worker processes can register and share KV cache blocks. Messages on that socket are msgpack. Extension code 1 is passed to DeviceIPCWrapper.Deserialize, which calls pickle.loads, while the server is still decoding request arguments and before the handler runs. A single unauthenticated ZMQ DEALER message to the transport port (default 5555) therefore executes code as the user the LMCache process runs as. Official container images run that process as root. The transport binds to localhost unless the operator sets a routable address with --host, which is how multi-node deployments let peers connect. The decode path shipped in v0.3.9 and is present through v0.5.5, including the v0.5.6 release candidates. v0.5.6, published on 2026-10-14, removes pickle.loads from this path.

In wolfSSH through 1.5.0 built with --enable-fwd, DoChannelOpen() in src/internal.c gates only direct-tcpip channel opens with the forwarding policy callback. forwarded-tcpip opens are admitted without an authorization check and are not capped in number, allowing a malicious SSH peer to make an endpoint allocate unbounded per-channel buffers for forwarding channels the application never authorized. A client also does not check a forwarded-tcpip open against the forwards it registered with a tcpip-forward request, as RFC 4254 section 7.2 requires, so a malicious server can open forwarding channels for addresses and ports the client never asked it to forward.

  • Oct 6, 2026Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals.CVE-2026-106509 · Other software · backstage · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by improper validation of mkdocs theme configuration in techdocs. When TechDocs is configured to build documentation locally or in a container, a user with write access to a registered repository can include configuration values in mkdocs.yml that cause arbitrary code execution during the documentation build process. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4.

  • Oct 6, 2026Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals.CVE-2026-106508 · Other software · backstage · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by potential file exposure through local techdocs publisher. When using the local TechDocs publisher (techdocs.publisher.type: 'local'), it was possible for the documentation serving endpoint to follow filesystem references outside the intended documentation tree, potentially exposing host files to authenticated users. This is mitigated by the fact that exploration requires preconditions that do not arise through normal MkDocs operation. Cloud-based publishers (S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage) are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.15.4.

Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by techdocs arbitrary file read via mkdocs snippets. Unsafe path resolution in TechDocs source tree handling allows an authenticated user who can register documentation sources to include content from outside the intended documentation boundary. Depending on deployment, this may expose files readable by the build process. This issue is fixed in version 1.15.4.
