  • Jun 24, 2026Ghost is a Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-53949 · Other software · TryGhost · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 5.46.1 until 6.21.2, the validation applied to filters on the public API endpoints could be partially bypassed, making it possible to reveal private fields via a brute force attack. If SQLite was used as the database password hashes were fully accessible. If MySQL was used as the database the password hashes' case (uppercase / lowercase) would have been lost, which would likely have rendered a further brute force attack on the discovered hashes fruitless. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.21.2.

  • Jun 24, 2026Ghost is a Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-53948 · Other software · TryGhost · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.19.4 until 6.21.1, insufficient validation of the client-supplied Content-Type on Ghost's Admin API file upload endpoint allowed uploaded files to be served from the site with an attacker-chosen content type on S3/GCS storage backends. On installations that serve uploaded files from the same origin as the site, this could have been used to facilitate stored cross-site scripting against site visitors or staff. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.21.1.

  • Jun 24, 2026Ghost is a Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-53946 · Other software · TryGhost · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.19.4 until 6.21.1, when re-rendering posts, Ghost would refetch missing image dimensions by issuing an outbound HTTP request to the URL stored on an image card — without restricting that URL to trusted image hosts. An authenticated staff user able to create or edit posts could therefore point an image card at an attacker-chosen host and cause the Ghost server to request it on their behalf, including hosts on internal networks or cloud instance metadata endpoints that would not normally be reachable from the public internet. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.21.1.

  • Jun 24, 2026Ghost is a Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-53943 · Other software · TryGhost · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From until 6.37.0, when Ghost is behind a shared caching layer that results in cached content being shared between different visitors, an unauthenticated user could send an x-ghost-preview header that altered the rendered frontend response. In affected cache configurations, that response could be stored and served to subsequent visitors requesting the same page, allowing cache poisoning of request-specific preview output. When running Ghost's frontend and admin panel on the same domain this could be used to take over staff user accounts. When running these on different domains staff accounts have no exposure. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.37.0.

Nest is a framework for building scalable Node.js server-side applications. Prior to 11.1.24, an authentication bypass vulnerability exists in @nestjs/platform-fastify. When middleware is registered through NestJS's MiddlewareConsumer.forRoutes() API on the Fastify adapter, an unauthenticated client can bypass the Nest middleware registered for that route by simply appending a trailing slash (/) to the request URL. • Jun 22, 2026http-proxy-middleware is node.js http-proxy middleware.CVE-2026-55603 · Other software · chimurai · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

http-proxy-middleware is node.js http-proxy middleware. From 3.0.4 until 3.0.7 and 4.1.1, fixRequestBody() is the library's documented helper for re-emitting a request body that was already consumed by a body parser. When the outgoing Content-Type is multipart/form-data, it rebuilds the body with handlerFormDataBodyData(), which interpolates each req.body key and value directly into the multipart wire format without neutralizing CR/LF. A \r\n inside a value (or key) lets an attacker close the current part and inject an entirely new form part. Because the proxy's own body parser saw a single opaque value, any gateway-side policy or validation performed on req.body is evaluated against a different set of fields than the upstream backend ultimately parses a request/parameter desynchronization across the trust boundary. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.0.7 and 4.1.1.

http-proxy-middleware is node.js http-proxy middleware. From 0.16.0 until 2.0.10, 3.0.6, and 4.1.0, http-proxy-middleware documents router proxy-table entries as host, path, or host+path selectors, but the host+path implementation uses unanchored substring matching on attacker-controlled request metadata. • Jun 22, 2026node-tar is a full-featured Tar for Node.js.CVE-2026-53655 · Other software · isaacs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

node-tar is a full-featured Tar for Node.js. Prior to 7.5.16, tar (node-tar) applies a PAX extended header's size= record (and other PAX overrides) to the next header entry of any type, including intermediary metadata headers such as a GNU long-name (L) or long-link (K) entry. Per POSIX pax, a PAX extended header (x) describes the next file entry, not the intermediary extension headers that may sit between the x header and the file it annotates. Because node-tar lets the PAX size override the byte length of an intervening L/K/x header, an attacker can desynchronize node-tar's stream cursor relative to every other mainstream tar implementation (GNU tar, libarchive/bsdtar, Python tarfile, and the now-fixed tar-rs / astral-tokio-tar). The result is a tar parser interpretation differential (CWE-436): a single crafted archive yields a different set of members under node-tar than under the reference tar tools. An attacker can use this to hide a member from one parser while it is visible to another, which defeats security tooling whose scanner and extractor disagree on archive contents (e.g. a malware/secret scanner that lists entries with one library while a downstream step extracts with

Stored cross-site scripting in pgAdmin 4's error-rendering and plan-node-rendering paths. Text returned by a PostgreSQL server (ErrorResponse messages, including object names quoted back inside relation-does-not-exist errors and inside EXPLAIN Recheck Cond / Exact Heap Blocks fields) was passed verbatim through html-react-parser at every user-facing sink — the notifier toasts, FormFooterMessage / FormInput help and error areas, FormNote, ModalProvider AlertContent and confirmDelete, ToolErrorView, the Explain visualiser's NodeText panel, the SQL editor confirm dialogs, ConfirmSaveContent, PreferencesHelper modal alerts, and SelectThemes helper text. A PostgreSQL server an attacker controls — or any server returning attacker-influenced text such as a table or column name a low-privilege database user can create — could inject arbitrary HTML (including <iframe>) into the pgAdmin DOM the moment the victim's pgAdmin connected to that server or viewed an Explain plan that referenced the crafted object. The injected iframe's srcdoc could fetch attacker-served JavaScript and, by writing to parent.location, redirect the victim's top-level pgAdmin browser tab to an attacker-controlled URL.

  • Jun 17, 2026Network-AI is a TypeScript/Node.js multi-agent orchestrator.CVE-2026-48814 · Other software · Jovancoding · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Network-AI is a TypeScript/Node.js multi-agent orchestrator. In versions 5.7.1 and earlier, the MCP SSE server allows unauthenticated cross-origin MCP tool invocation due to an empty default secret. This issue was partially addressed by CVE-2026-46701 in version 5.4.5 by closing the CORS flaw (with Access-Control-Allow-Origin now set only for localhost origins), but the empty-default-secret flaw described in the title remained: the SSE MCP server still defaulted to an empty secret, _isAuthorized() still returned true when the secret was empty, and a non-loopback bind only produced a warning. As a result, the server still ran fully unauthenticated by default. Any non-browser caller (for example, curl, SSRF, or a 0.0.0.0 bind) could invoke all 22 MCP tools (config_set, agent_spawn, blackboard_write, token_*) with no credentials. This issue was fixed in version 5.7.2.

  • Jun 17, 2026DroneAware is a drone detection platform.CVE-2026-48117 · Other software · fduflyer · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

DroneAware is a drone detection platform. The centralized DroneAware server backing droneaware.io was vulnerable to an account pre-hijacking attack in which an attacker could register an account using a victim's email address with an attacker-controlled password before the victim completed account activation. When the legitimate owner later activated the account, either by clicking the email verification link or by logging in via Google SSO, the attacker-set password became fully valid, enabling silent and persistent account takeover without any notification to the victim. The vulnerability was fixed server-side on 2025-05-20; no user action is required. Node binaries and self-hosted detection nodes are not affected. There are no workarounds; the fix was deployed server-side and no client-side mitigation is applicable.

  • Jun 17, 2026ws is an open source WebSocket client and server for Node.js.CVE-2026-48779 · Other software · websockets · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

ws is an open source WebSocket client and server for Node.js. All versions from 1.1.0 up to (but not including) 5.2.5, from 6.0.0 up to 6.2.4, from 7.0.0 up to 7.5.11, and from 8.0.0 up to 8.21.0 are affected by a memory exhaustion DoS vulnerability. A peer can send a high volume of exceptionally small fragments and data chunks, with modest network traffic, to force the remote peer into allocating and holding structural wrappers that consume far more memory than the default documented message-size limit, leading to process termination due to OOM. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.2.5, 6.2.4, 7.5.11, and 8.21.0.

  • Jun 15, 2026i18next-http-middleware is a middleware to be used with Node.js web frameworks like express or Fastify and also for Deno.CVE-2026-48714 · Other software · i18next · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

i18next-http-middleware is a middleware to be used with Node.js web frameworks like express or Fastify and also for Deno. In versions prior to 3.9.7, the missingKeyHandler blocked the literal request-body keys __proto__, constructor, and prototype (added in 3.9.3, see GHSA-5fgg-jcpf-8jjw), but did not reject dotted variants such as "__proto__.polluted". Downstream backends that split the missing-key string on a configured keySeparator (notably i18next-fs-backend ≤ 2.6.5) hand these keys to an unguarded setPath() walker that writes to Object.prototype. Applications that expose missingKeyHandler to untrusted input AND use i18next-fs-backend ≤ 2.6.5 are directly exploitable for remote prototype pollution. Other downstream backends that split the missing-key string the same way may be similarly affected. Depending on the host application, polluted prototype properties may cause crashes, corrupted translation behaviour, configuration poisoning, or bypasses of property-based security checks. This issue has been fixed in version 3.9.7. If developers cannot upgrade immediately, they should do the following: do not expose missingKeyHandler to untrusted users (mount it behind authentication

  • Jun 12, 2026ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-53609 · Other software · apostrophecms · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. In versions up to and including 4.30.0, `apos.util.set()` traverses dot-notation paths without sanitizing `__proto__`, allowing an authenticated editor to write arbitrary values to `Object.prototype` via the `$pullAll` patch operator. A confirmed gadget in `publicApiCheck()` causes this to bypass authorization on all piece-type REST API endpoints for every subsequent unauthenticated request, for the lifetime of the Node.js process. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available.

  • Jun 12, 2026ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-53608 · Other software · apostrophecms · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Versions up to and including 1.4.2 of the `@apostrophecms/seo` package injects the Google Analytics Tracking ID (`seoGoogleTrackingId`) and Google Tag Manager ID (`seoGoogleTagManager`) directly into `<script>` tag bodies using JavaScript template literals without any sanitization or validation. Any user with editor-level access (the default role for content managers) can set these fields to a malicious value, resulting in stored XSS that executes on every page for every visitor of the site. • Jun 12, 2026ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-53607 · Other software · apostrophecms · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. In versions up to and including 4.30.0, when `prettyUrls: true` is enabled on `@apostrophecms/file` (a documented SEO feature for serving uploaded files at clean URLs), the public pretty-URL handler builds the upstream URL using the raw `Host` HTTP request header. That URL is then `fetch`'ed and the response body + headers are streamed straight back to the requester. Because `Host` is fully attacker-controlled, an unauthenticated remote attacker can pivot the apostrophe process to issue outbound HTTP requests against any host it can reach on the private network. The path component is constrained to `/uploads/attachments/<cuid>-<slug>.<ext>` (built from a local-DB lookup), which keeps the impact narrow: cross-instance data exfiltration is neutralized by cuid uniqueness, but blind-SSRF residuals remain (network-topology mapping via response-code / timing differences and verbose proxy/WAF 404 body disclosure). As of time of publication, no known patched versions exist.

ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system, and sanitize-html provides a simple HTML sanitizer with a clear API. Versions of sanitize-html prior to 2.17.5 use `allowedSchemesAppliedToAttributes` (default: `['href', 'src', 'cite']`) to gate the `naughtyHref()` function that blocks dangerous URI schemes like `javascript:` and `vbscript:`. The HTML specification defines 10+ attributes that accept URIs (`action`, `formaction`, `data`, `poster`, `background`, `ping`, `xlink:href`, `dynsrc`, `lowsrc`), but none of these are included in the default gate list. When a developer allows any of these attributes in their configuration, `javascript:` URIs pass through completely unmodified, enabling XSS. Version 2.17.5 patches the issue.

  • Jun 12, 2026ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system.CVE-2026-45013 · Other software · apostrophecms · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Versions up to and including 4.29.0 have a password reset flow that constructs the reset URL using `req.hostname`, which is derived directly from the attacker-controlled HTTP `Host` header when `apos.baseUrl` is not explicitly configured. An unauthenticated attacker who knows a victim's email address can send a crafted reset request that causes the application to email the victim a reset link pointing to the attacker's domain. When the victim clicks the link, the valid reset token is delivered to the attacker, enabling full account takeover. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available.
