  • Oct 3, 2026Burst Statistics – Simple WordPress Analytics (Google Analytics Alternative): Improper Authentication leading to Account PersistenceCVE-2026-97343 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Burst Statistics – Simple WordPress Analytics (Google Analytics Alternative) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Authentication leading to Account Persistence in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.1. This is due to the `maybe_load_shared_dashboard()` handler issuing a genuine WordPress session cookie for the `burst_statistics_viewer` account to any visitor presenting a valid share token via `wp_set_auth_cookie()`, while the plugin only blocks Application Passwords for the resulting `burst_viewer` role and does not restrict the core `/wp-json/wp/v2/users/me` password update endpoint or filter the `edit_user` capability for that account — leaving WordPress core's built-in rule that any authenticated user may update their own account fully in effect. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to set an attacker-chosen password on the `burst_statistics_viewer` WordPress account, constituting a permanent takeover of that limited-privilege (`view_burst_statistics`) account that persists through share-token revocation, share-token expiration, and execution of the plugin's daily `cleanup_viewer_sessions()` routine. Exploitation requires that the attacker have o

  • Oct 3, 2026WPFront Notification Bar: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-93896 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The WPFront Notification Bar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 3.5.1. This is due to the debug-log output path (write_debug_logs) reflecting the raw value of $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] through vprintf() directly inside a <script> block emitted on wp_footer, without any sanitization or escaping (see the 'Current URL is "%s"' log entry produced by the URL-text display filter in the filter() method). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link.

  • Oct 3, 2026Photo Gallery by 10Web – Mobile-Friendly Image Gallery: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-92974 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The Photo Gallery by 10Web – Mobile-Friendly Image Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'thumb_url' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.46 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires that the authenticated victim holds the manage_options capability, as the editimage_bwg AJAX action performs a capability check but no nonce verification, meaning the payload can be delivered via a crafted GET request without a CSRF token.

  • Oct 3, 2026VikAppointments Services Booking Calendar: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-87115 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The VikAppointments Services Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the extract function in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.21. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). Exploitation requires at least one File-type custom field to be published on the confirmation page shortcode, as this field is not created by default during plugin installation.

  • Oct 3, 2026WPCafe – Restaurant Menu, Online Food Ordering & Table Booking System: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-11601 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The WPCafe – Restaurant Menu, Online Food Ordering & Table Booking System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.19. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read, create, update, clone, and delete email notification flows, including overwriting the default reservation confirmation, cancellation, and admin alert emails with attacker-controlled content sent from the site's legitimate address, or destroying reservation notification flows entirely. The vulnerable endpoints are active by default on every WPCafe installation without any configuration requirement, as the Email_Automation_Service_Provider::is_enable() method unconditionally returns true and the plugin ships with five pre-configured default email flows upon activation.

  • Oct 3, 2026WPMobile.App – Android and iOS App Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-103421 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The WPMobile.App – Android and iOS App Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'REQUEST_URI (path segment after /android_json/search/)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 11.84 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the app's content mode to be configured as 'webview' (i.e., the 'speed' option is not set to '1'), which is a supported and still-shipped mode, though no longer the default.

  • Oct 3, 2026Simple Membership: Unauthorized modification of data and sensitive information disclosureCVE-2026-97337 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data and sensitive information disclosure in versions up to, and including, 4.8.3 via the resend-activation and email-activation endpoints. The endpoints are dispatched from SwpmInitTimeTasks::check_and_do_email_activation() on frontend init with no authentication, nonce, capability, or ownership check, and the recipient address used by SwpmRegistration::send_reg_email() is taken from an attacker-controlled $_POST['email'] parameter (overriding the member's registered address). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to redirect an arbitrary pending member's activation email — and the follow-up 'registration complete' email containing the member's username and plaintext password — to an attacker-chosen address, and to then activate that member's account without their consent.

The Calculated Fields Form – AI Form Builder for WordPress – Contact, Payment, Quote, Quiz & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'arbitrary (whichever names the admin bound via url.<name>)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.1.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires the targeted site to host a publicly accessible form in which an administrator has configured at least two fields with url.&lt;name&gt; predefined values that are used together in a concatenation equation — a plausible but not universal configuration.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The WooCommerce "redirect to cart after add to cart" option must be enabled for the filter that reads the woosq-redirect parameter to execute; however, the ?quick-view= auto-open mechanism means no further user interaction beyond loading the crafted URL is required to trigger script execution.

  • Oct 3, 2026Photo Reviews for WooCommerce: Arbitrary Content DeletionCVE-2026-101923 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Photo Reviews for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Content Deletion in versions up to, and including, 1.2.30. This is due to the plugin storing attacker-controlled post IDs from the wcpr_image_upload_id parameter of a public review submission into the review's reviews-images comment meta without verifying that the IDs correspond to attachments owned by the submitter, combined with the delete_reviews_image() handler unconditionally calling wp_delete_post( $id, true ) on every stored ID when the review is deleted. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete arbitrary posts, pages, products, or media attachments on the site whenever an administrator subsequently deletes the attacker's review (or when WordPress's built-in wp_scheduled_delete cron empties the comment trash after 30 days).

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is delivered entirely through a Google review posted for the connected business and requires no WordPress account; the plugin's default daily cron auto-imports the malicious review text, and execution triggers for every visitor on DOMContentLoaded without any further user interaction.

  • Oct 3, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-97644 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Contact Identity Rebinding in all versions up to, and including, 4.9 The vulnerability exists because the `create_contact` function in the v3 REST endpoint (`POST /gh/v3/contacts`) is gated solely by the `add_contacts` capability and forwards the full request payload — including the security-bearing `user_id` column — into the upsert path of `Contacts_DB::add()`, which bypasses the ownership guard that `Contacts_DB::update()` enforces, allowing an attacker to rebind any existing contact record to an arbitrary WordPress user ID. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Sales Representative-level access and above to upsert their own contact row to point to an Administrator's user ID, then invoke the v4 email-test endpoint (`POST /gh/v4/emails/test`) — also accessible to the Sales Representative role via the `send_emails` capability — to generate an `{auto_login_url}` one-time permissions key bound to the rebound contact, and consume that link to call `wp_set_auth_cookie()` and gain a fully authenticated session as the WordPress Administrator.

The EWWW Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via REQUEST_URI Parameter Key in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Successful exploitation requires that the enable_help option is active, as the vulnerable HelpScout Beacon script block is only emitted when that setting is enabled.

The EmbedPress – PDF Embedder, 3D PDF FlipBook, Google Reviews, YouTube Videos, Upload & Embed PDF documents plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'slidesShow' Block Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.4 via the get_user_profile_structure. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract other users' email addresses, login names, and registration dates via the Member Directory's per-row user rebinding when attacker-controlled base64 payloads in the [pp-custom-html] shortcode invoke [profile-email], [profile-username], and [profile-date-registered]. When the WordPress users_can_register option is enabled, unauthenticated attackers can also exploit this vulnerability by supplying the split shortcode fragments through the plugin's own registration handler, which processes the reg_nickname and reg_bio fields without a nonce requirement.

The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.13.1 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view privacy-restricted member profile field values — including fields explicitly configured as owner-only, members-only, or role-restricted — by querying the publicly accessible wp_ajax_nopriv_um_get_members endpoint. The nonce required by the endpoint ('um-frontend-nonce') is emitted to all unauthenticated visitors via wp_localize_script, meaning it provides no meaningful access control and any anonymous visitor can satisfy the endpoint's authentication requirements.

  • Oct 2, 2026Divi Membership: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-19652 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Divi Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 2.2.0. This is due to the `dmem_form_submit_handler()` function determining the new user's role by iterating all WordPress roles and calling `password_verify()` against an attacker-controlled bcrypt hash supplied in the `form_id` POST parameter, with no validation or whitelist of allowed roles. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new account with the administrator role by submitting a locally computed bcrypt hash of `administrator` as `form_id`, and when `auto_login=on` is submitted, be immediately authenticated as that administrator in the same request, resulting in full site takeover. Exploitation requires a WordPress nonce, but that nonce is publicly emitted on any page rendering the Divi Membership registration form and is therefore obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor.

The WPMobile.App – Android and iOS App Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 11.82 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to exfiltrate password-reset URLs for arbitrary users, including administrators, mirrored into the push queue by the mail-to-push feature, and use those URLs to take over the targeted accounts. This exploit chain requires the plugin's mail-to-push feature (wpmobile_auto_mail=1) to be enabled, as that setting is what causes outbound WordPress password-reset emails — including the reset URL and key — to be mirrored into the push row queue where they become accessible to the attacker.
