  • Jul 27, 2026In containerized-data-importer (CDI), the aggregated cdi.kubevirt.io:view ClusterRole, intended to provide read-only access to CDI resources, includes a rule grCVE-2026-17527 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.7

In containerized-data-importer (CDI), the aggregated cdi.kubevirt.io:view ClusterRole, intended to provide read-only access to CDI resources, includes a rule granting create on the datavolumes/source subresource. CDI's DataVolume clone authorization accepts this permission as sufficient to authorize cloning the contents of any PVC the caller can name, without requiring write access to the source namespace. A user or service account bound to the view role, commonly granted cluster-wide via ClusterRoleBinding, who also has ordinary write access (edit/admin) to any single namespace, can use this to exfiltrate the contents of any PVC in the cluster into a namespace they control, bypassing namespace isolation and the read-only guarantee of the view role.

  • Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ti-ads1119: fix PM reference leak in buffer preenable ads1119_triggered_buffer_pCVE-2026-64499 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ti-ads1119: fix PM reference leak in buffer preenable ads1119_triggered_buffer_preenable() resumes the device with pm_runtime_resume_and_get() before starting a conversion. If i2c_smbus_write_byte() fails, the function returns the error directly and leaves the runtime PM usage counter elevated. The matching postdisable callback is not called when preenable fails, so the reference is leaked and the device may remain runtime-active indefinitely. Store the I2C transfer result in ret and drop the runtime PM reference on failure before returning the error.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: temperature: tmp006: use devm_iio_trigger_register tmp006_probe() allocates the DRDY trigger with devm_iio_trigger_alloc() but registers it with plain iio_trigger_register(). The driver has no .remove() callback, so on module unload the trigger stays in the global trigger list while its memory is freed by devm, leaving a dangling entry. Switch to devm_iio_trigger_register() so the registration is undone in the same devm scope as the allocation.

  • Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt: Have RT_PUSH_IPI be default off for non PREEMPT_RT RT migration is done aggressiCVE-2026-64374 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt: Have RT_PUSH_IPI be default off for non PREEMPT_RT RT migration is done aggressively. When a CPU schedules out a high priority RT task for a lower priority task, it will look to see if there's any RT tasks that are waiting to run on another CPU that is of higher priority than the task this CPU is about to run. If it finds one, it will pull that task over to the CPU and allow it to run there instead. Normally, this pulling is done by looking at the RT overloaded mask (rto) which contains all the CPUs in the scheduler domain with RT tasks that are waiting to run due to a higher priority RT task currently running on their CPU. The CPU that is about to schedule a lower priority task will grab the rq lock of the overloaded CPU and move the RT task from that CPU's runqueue to the local one and schedule the higher priority RT task. This caused issues when a lot of CPUs would schedule a lower priority task at the same time. They would all try to grab the same runqueue lock of the CPU with the overloaded RT tasks. Only the first CPU that got in will get that task. All the others would wait until they got the r

libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit a13bb6c, contains a missing bounds check vulnerability that allows a malicious SSH server to trigger an arbitrary-length heap out-of-bounds read and a free of an uninitialized pointer via the publickey subsystem. In libssh2_publickey_list_fetch(), the version 1 response parser reads a server-controlled comment_len value and advances the parse pointer without verifying sufficient bytes remain in the buffer, causing the out-of-bounds read to leak heap pointers from adjacent allocations defeating ASLR, followed by heap allocator state corruption when the error cleanup path frees an uninitialized pointer from a non-zeroed realloc() region.

  • Jul 23, 2026APIFold reads an OpenAPI 3.x or Swagger 2.x specification and generates a live, production-ready MCP server endpoint.CVE-2026-47769 · Other software · Work90210 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

APIFold reads an OpenAPI 3.x or Swagger 2.x specification and generates a live, production-ready MCP server endpoint. Prior to commit 7f19b52280f414f57af2b79a95333d1c8fbeece5, the `/webhooks/:serverSlug/:eventName` endpoint accepts arbitrary unauthenticated JSON and stores it in Redis and the `webhook_events` PostgreSQL table without any signature check or authentication requirement. The root cause is that `createWebhookRouter` is called at `server.ts:188` without a `validators` map, so `receivers.ts:80`'s optional-chaining guard evaluates to `undefined` and the signature-validation block (`receiver.ts:81–95`) is unconditionally skipped. Any unauthenticated network client that knows a valid server slug can inject arbitrary payloads, which are subsequently served as trusted resource state to legitimate MCP clients. Commit 7f19b52280f414f57af2b79a95333d1c8fbeece5 patches the issue.

  • Jul 22, 2026In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.25.1, a remote unauthenticated client can trigger a libngtcp2 assertion (if compiled with assertions on) and CVE-2026-55991 · Other software · NLnet Labs · reported by sep@nlnetlabs.nlMedium 5.9

In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.25.1, a remote unauthenticated client can trigger a libngtcp2 assertion (if compiled with assertions on) and terminate the entire Unbound process using a single DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) connection and one normal DNS query. This is caused by an erroneous error value passed to libngtcp2. When 'ngtcp2_conn_writev_stream()' returns 'NGTCP2_ERR_STREAM_DATA_BLOCKED', Unbound continues to call 'ngtcp2_ccerr_set_application_error()' with a '-1' error value. The 'int' literal '-1' is implicitly converted to the function's 'uint64_t error_code' parameter as '0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF'. The follow-on 'ngtcp2_conn_write_connection_close()' serialises that value as a QUIC variable-length integer; because '2^64-1' exceeds the 62-bit varint ceiling, 'ngtcp2_put_uvarintlen()' fails 'assert(n < 4611686018427387904ULL)' and the whole resolver process aborts. A remote, unauthenticated DoQ client can trigger this deterministically with a single QUIC connection by advertising 'initial_max_stream_data_bidi_local = 1' in its transport parameters and sending one DoQ query without ever reading the stream.

  • Jul 20, 2026The Caddy Defender plugin is a middleware for Caddy that allows users to block or manipulate requests based on the client's IP address.CVE-2026-46415 · Other software · JasonLovesDoggo · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

The Caddy Defender plugin is a middleware for Caddy that allows users to block or manipulate requests based on the client's IP address. Prior to version 0.10.1, Caddy Defender used `r.RemoteAddr` when evaluating whether a request should be blocked. `RemoteAddr` is the address of the immediate peer connected to Caddy. In deployments where Caddy is behind a trusted proxy, CDN, or load balancer, the immediate peer is usually the proxy, not the original client. Caddy resolves the original client address into its `client_ip` request variable after applying the configured `trusted_proxies` policy, but Defender did not use that value. As a result, clients from blocked IP ranges could bypass Defender when accessing Caddy through a trusted proxy whose own IP address was not blocked. This affects deployments that use Defender behind trusted proxies and expect it to enforce blocking based on the real client IP. The issue is fixed in version 0.10.1 by making Defender prefer Caddys resolved `client_ip` request variable when it is available. Defender falls back to `RemoteAddr` only when Caddy has not provided a resolved client IP. There is no complete workaround in affected Defender versions for

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: imu: st_lsm6dsx: fix stack leak in tagged FIFO buffer The tagged FIFO path declares iio_buff on the stack with __aligned(8) but no initializer, but there is a hole in the structure, which will then leak to userspace as ST_LSM6DSX_SAMPLE_SIZE bytes (6) will be copied, but the space between that and the timestamp are not initialized. Commit c14edb4d0bdc ("iio:imu:st_lsm6dsx Fix alignment and data leak issues") moved the untagged FIFO path to a kzalloc'd buffer in hw->scan, but for the tagged path it only added the alignment qualifier and not the initializer :( Fix this by just zero-initializing the structure on the stack.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: pressure: bmp280: fix stack leak in bmp580 trigger handler bmp580_trigger_handler() declares its scan buffer on the stack without an initializer and then memcpy()s 3 bytes of 24-bit sensor data into each 4-byte __le32 field. The high byte of comp_temp and comp_press is left uninitialized, and the channel storagebits is 32, so two bytes of stack are pushed to userspace per scan. This is a regression from when the buffer lived in the private data, the move to a stack-local struct dropped the implicit zeroing. bme280_trigger_handler() was fixed up to handle this bug, but this driver was not fixed because there was no padding hole, but rather a short-fill issue. Fix this all by just zero-initializing the structure on the stack.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: v: prevent OGM aggregation on disabled hardif When an interface gets disabled, the worker is correctly disabled by batadv_hardif_disable_interface() -> ... -> batadv_v_ogm_iface_disable(). In this process, the skb aggr_list is also freed. But batadv_v_ogm_send_meshif() can still queue new skbs (via batadv_v_ogm_queue_on_if()) to the aggr_list. This will only stop after all cores can no longer find the RCU protected list of hard interfaces. These queued skbs will never be freed or consumed by batadv_v_ogm_aggr_work. The batadv_v_ogm_iface_disable() function must block batadv_v_ogm_queue_on_if() to avoid leak of skbs.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Replace guest-triggerable BUG_ON() in ioeventfd datamatch with get_unaligned() Drop a BUG_ON() that has been reachable since it was first added, way back in 2009, and instead use get_unaligned() to perform potentially-unaligned accesses. For a given store, KVM x86's emulator tracks the entire value in the destination operand, x86_emulate_ctxt.dst. If the destination is memory, and the target splits multiple pages and/or is emulated MMIO, then KVM handles each fragment independently. E.g. on a page split starting at page offset 0xffc, KVM writes 4 bytes to the first page, then the remaining bytes to the second page, using ctxt->dst as the source for both (with appropriate offsets). If the destination splits a page *and* hits emulated MMIO on the second page, then KVM will complete the write to the first page, then emulate the MMIO access to the second page. If there is a datamatch-enabled ioeventfd at offset 0 of the second page, then KVM will process the remainder of the store as a potential ioeventfd signal. Putting it all together, if the guest emits a store that splits a page starting at page offset

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: reject descriptors with oversized CRC length udf_read_tagged() skips CRC verificationCVE-2026-53369 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.4

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: reject descriptors with oversized CRC length udf_read_tagged() skips CRC verification when descCRCLength + sizeof(struct tag) exceeds the block size. A crafted UDF image can set descCRCLength to an oversized value to bypass CRC validation entirely; the descriptor is then accepted based solely on the 8-bit tag checksum, which is trivially recomputable. Reject such descriptors instead of silently accepting them. A legitimate single-block descriptor should never have a CRC length that exceeds the block.
